Does anyone know if build rate (and I would assume build time) is based on the cost of a building or something else. The only way I can see a percent increase in build rate working is if the build rate is some sort of building cost/hour calculation. I could see it being based on power too, but defense platforms gain too much power for build times that aren't significantly longer, so I don't think that's the case.

Suggestion: stop ALL maintenance before more alliances are deleted.
Just fix things first, make sure it's a durable fix, than do maintenance again.

For the PC version, has anyone given thought as to making the chat a pop-out window? Would be nice (e.g. "more efficient") to have chat on separate monitor while playing the pc version of the game.
TC: Defense/Attack. During an ACTIVE TC take over event, only those alliances that pledge to actually take the TC should be allowed to PVP in the zone. Again only during active TC events. If you want your allies to help you, they need to drop a zone and pledge to help you (all at the same time managing their points as to not steal the zoned from "You").

Regarding #898 giving us the current total bonuses would also work. Technically, we could dig through all of the research trees and officers and ship abilities and calculate this on our own, but.... I've got better things to do with my time. But I could open up my K'vort, look at the crystal mining total modifier and decide how much impact another 40% would have pretty easily.

But that math is trivial. If I have a total multiplier if 120%, then it would be 160% after the research. The formula is base x (1 + total bonus/100).
@worldly nova That blue checkmark you added for the away team traits staying selected can probably come off after using it for a while now. Every time you reset the app it clears itself, so not really a great fix with as much as the app needs to be restarted these days.
Since you’re giving us epic exchange directives so often how about more epic exchange armadas to use them on? Increase the spawn rate.

we are continuing to lose players (both pay to play and free to play) from our server because of the enormous shortage of G4 mines. Players have to spend huge amounts of time hunting for mines and micro managing miners. The recent increase in g4 mines by 5 per system does not even come close to solving the problem of huge demand and extremely limited supply. So:

Increase G4 territory mines from 10 to 90 with 30 each of gas, ore, crystal. Also increase their size from 150k to 1m.

Increase the G4 mines in each system from 15 to 90.

Is there research for better mats efficiency, is it just for refined or the orher types, like rare, uncommon, epic
!suggestion lift the refining cap on cultivated mycelium and increase the size of mycelium spore nodes so mining is both relevant and not a completely miserable chore. The only reason to mine it at all right now is if an event rewards points for it. Also, consider mining officers that Amp mycelium mining speed - reposting at request because i think last time i recommended this, additional suggestions were closed at the time
@worldly nova We are losing both pay to play and free to play due to players spending pointless time searching for mines. The extreme mismatch between demand and supply is making playing the game a chore and no fun. That means Scopely are losing revenue now and in the future as a result of the shortage.
Unfortunately the increase in g4 mines is extremely small compared to the number of players X no of miners. It might be a 50% increase but 50% increase of 10 mines per system is just 5. Our top 3 alliances alone could absorb almost the entire increase in the galaxy by deploying unused miners due to the number of people who have 6 or 7 ship slots.

So saying the request has already been voted on and g4 mines have been added is a really bad response because Scopely have only added 5 mines per system which doesn't even come close to solving the problem.

Increasing the number and size of territory mines is an effective reward for owning territory. I know Scopely are looking for mechanisms to increase competition for territories eg the turf war events. The current 10 G4 mines per tier 3 territory of 150k size is simply not worth having a war over. Increasing mines to 90, making them 1m in size and having gas, ore and crystal in the same territory makes them massively more valuable.

I'm pushing this hard because the shortage of g4 mines is seriously damaging gameplay and frustrating players, both pay to play & free to play, to the point that they are leaving.

My guess is when adding G4 mines was discussed 50% seemed like a big increase. But 50% of a small number is an even smaller number. Even a simple capacity assessment of players, ops level, miners owned and ship slots would show that it is a increase with minimal impact on the issue.

Increasing the node size to 1million would just mean people would be camping nodes for even longer than they are now. At 150k, they need to reset, or go zero. Zero nodes can be cleared and a new miner start mining. At 1million, that would mean fewer people mining. Your suggestion would reduce the number of people able to mine, not increase.
Responding to suggestion #919, that would completely defeat the purpose of the second repair queue, and possibly make it worse
#920 would only facilitate bullying of individuals by alliances, something that is already too prevalent
The other side of #920 is that it boils down many times to one member of an alliance that is the problem the other way. And it gets worse with the big alliances on the servers where some there feel that they can do what they want because they are part of it, and the power disparity between that larger group and the rest of the server leaves little recourse. 920 would allow targeting the problem that is not getting addressed by that alliances leadership.
I see the other side as well, but boy we really would have liked this option several times.

For #935, I believe it's been suggested before that deeps space should just be visible like normal space. I think that's a better way to go for visibility there.
In the new SNW mission, breakthrough, it suggests lvl 25, however, there is a 2.1M ship to destroy. I don’t know how many lvl 25s can do that. I’m at lvl 32 and can’t take it. Is anyone looking at that?

It’s a wast of uncommens and speedups, it’s a wast of time and sets us back for no reason!
@brave bronze Is there any way to have it where if a player gets booted from a alliance or stops playing their base can be moved out of territory that they do not have claim to after so many days? after so many months of playing and going thru members the Spots for bases in territory get less and less.

Missions for the most part cost more to do than you ever get out of them. I'd say to heck with it but there is SNW Mission pt. 2 SMS event that ends in 4 days.. FAR TOO MANY MISSIONS HAVE RIDICULOUS LARGE HOSTILES TO KILL.

It scales with ops level, which sometimes requires the refinery. So technically, it does scale with upgrades. But only technically 😓
Also can we have a holiday mode option where you pass the account to another player that wants to mentain it while you are away . With a cd of say … 1-2 months , and minimum away time of a week .
Also sarcophagus research tree as it is useless vs g5 ships .

I know , what I mean is to give you an increase in the rafine materials , like the away teams building or the treasury building . There is literally no benefit to it . Only reason why it is upgraded is that you’re forced to do it in order to lvl up other buildings .

If you are referring to the holiday suggestion, it is not anything like that . If you played other games , you have holiday mode build in where the account is given to another person ( without username or password ) . They login on their account, go to servings and then login into an account that passed his request to him .
Then you can play on the other account, do dilys, events , etc .
That'll never happen as it is against the TOS to give, pass on or sell your account to someone else.
You can chose what kind of access to give to the person : I.e no shopping , deleting , spending mats, wrote on gc etc ( up to you what kind of permission you give , can be only do dailys, events ).
You’re not giving anyone anything . It is an option that you agree with to allow a friend to play on the account ( limited access ) while away .

Scopely should consider placing new accounts at random on older servers. There would be little harassment of them until they hit the early 20s and it would help the alliances on those servers to bring in new players.

Any idea on when they are going to fix sourcing of rare armada directives? 2 rare from an uncommon chest is a rather pathetic reward considering I get considerably more epic directives for doing a rare.
The whole handling of rare and epic armada dirctives is pathetic. Now willing to pay these outrageous prices either. Takes alot of fun out of the game along with other things... Big cash cow... Mostly play due to the fun chats with alliance members.
Some ideas I had for improving reoccurring events. Some have been mentioned before some haven't.
Make cosmic clean up every Saturday. Add chance of minor commendations to the away teams/rare directive bundle. Add rodinium to a bundle?
Threat from Beyond, add slb (or 2) for jaylah and uss terror shards, maybe add swarmadas to scoring (but please rework swarmada directive cost/rewards).
Anamalous Phenomonon: Add disco pvp SLB for s31 refit shards/minor commendations/spore drives.
Latinum rush: Add salvage refit shards to ops 35+, move Quark to the slb and increase quantity, add the Ferengi rares to the sms (1 or 2 shards each).
Make "disappearing act" a weekly sms/slb, maybe Tuesday, and add bonus scoring for pvp hits. Increase tetryon cap. Add generic uncommon/rare/epic cloak shards that are awarded from the slb.
Make the Thursdays a territory weekly reoccurring event. Maybe iso docking, pvp slb, maybe have some specially territory capture event where alliances can enroll in capture scrimmages (no one loses territory) with other alliances for rewards if they win.
Make parabellum/jelly brawl run consistently, like every Tuesday alternating between the two. Add slbs to both: Brawl slb rewards jelly refit shards, parabellum has multiple slbs (similar to faction hunt event) that reward 34 ship refit shards.
Make jelly pursuit happen on the weekend between battlepasses
Anyway, just some ideas. And when I say refit shards or officers added to slbs, I'm talking maybe a 1/4 unlock or something for 1st and then decreasing rewards for lower tiers.
Instead of a bonus refinery, increase amount players receive for current refining and shorten turnaround time to refine rss and ISO to at least twice a day (every 8 hours).
Once players reach the level to host armadas, all armada directives should be given as free daily gifts.
I'd like a way to track what missions are completed and what missions are available without entering a system and looking at planets. Right now, its all guess work.

I kind of like the noon/midnight version we get in the US eastern time zone. Honestly, I could get used to everything changing at once instead, but right now, if I've had a weirdly busy afternoon/evening, I have a chance to make up for it the next morning. It feels like I have more chances to get things done this way.
Mine resets at 5pm and do my events in those first 5 hours unless I don’t have work the next day in which case I do them in the morning

The likely thing to happen is after 3 days you end up killing hostiles for the other 400. Sounds unlikely but it’s way more common that it sounds
im already over 400/700 and i dont even care about it as im f2p. just saying u can still do it with only dailies since the complain was 1st day of dailies score was missed

i sometimes wish dailies and events would reset at same time but then it doesnt really matter, sometimes i just do event next day when dailies reset
or i leave dailies for after event reset when i know whats coming

A player in my alliance suggested making the holodeck a place where you can also test ships and crews against fellow alliance members.
Maybe I go to holodeck, select a dock and player from my alliance, and it proposes a battle in the holodeck to that person.

Instead of these little 15-minute speedups or other tiny alliance gifts from pack purchases, why can't we get those replaced with multiphasic credits so that all teammates can benefit from that currency? It wouldn't have to be a lot, but every little bit adds up to eventually giving us enough to purchase multiphasic packs. That way, we're seeing some tangible benefits to the alliance gifts instead of just these nothing items.
G3 armadas (level 39 and down) pay a small amount of directives as part of the leader chest rewards. It would be nice if these got added to the G4 armada leader chests. I know it's not a lot of directives, but they do add up.

Hi there! I have an idea… what about either a star base or giant ship that an alliance would build and use together. Each player would contribute to it being built, whether it be from rss, lat, missions… whatever… but it would be built by the whole alliance! 😃👍🤞 And then find a way for that alliance to use the star base or giant ship.
Customised push notifications. Bored of receiving 500 armada notifications a day when I am so done with armadas.
I do however still want to receive ten minutes of shield remaining, or mining spot depleted, or even that I've been attacked.

These are the sort of ones that I'd like too. 👍 I'm not completely sure how to do Armadas & I don't think I'm at a high enough level to be useful in them anyway. 🤷♀️
If you can put Pike, Moreau and Gaila on a ship you’re as useful as anyone else doing that in big armadas.

But leaving Parsteel Vault at the lowest possible level doesn’t mean it’ll be slower to upgrade to the next level because you’re on Ops 30 now
Taking the guns for example. A level 20 defense platform has a build time before efficiency research and helps of 1D 16h 36M. That time doesn't change once you are at Ops 21, and there is no speed penalty for building things at a level lower than your ops level.
Now, if you are looking at things from the perspective of 'how long does it take to get my buildings to all match my ops level' then yeah, it will be slower, but only because you would have to go backfill the missing levels (build the level 20 guns before you can build the level 21 guns). That is a really screwy perspective to use though.

L29 will cost you up to half a bil steel, maybe 80m trit & 20m dil in buildings
L30 - 750m steel, 100m trit, 30m dil
L31 - 1.b steel, 200m trit, 40m dil
Gets significantly worse after that (even with efficiency researches)
We have a guy who’s camped at ops 14 for two years so he can harass others in GC and not get hit

yes and no - the rewards do scale up massively in the late 30s, but there is a significant hump in the late 20s to early 30s where you need to raid (steel in particular) if you're going to advance with any kind of speed

Camping is what works for some, either because they have a method to their madness, or because they don't want to move up into higher event brackets - keeping low means that eventually people out-pace you, and the SLBs are nice and uncontested, meaning more officers for less effort/etc.
I still maintain that for quick progress, buildings are the single most important thing you can do, followed by efficiency researches 😄
And it comes down to, however they want to enjoy the game, without breaking TOS, they can and should do, even if it's not the "optimal" path

Timelines works on it. Nothing stopping this app from doing it other than an entitlement change they don't seem to want to make. Of course, they'd need to QA that and they can barely QA what they have (can't even play through two missions before release).
Let us opt out of pvp and turn it off completely, instead of relying on shields. Let the griefers fight and raid amongst themselves!

Fallout 76 is an MMO game too, but the community banded together and largely avoids conflict. This is a Star Trek game. No reason it can't do the same.

I want to avoid them completely. Shields don't help with that. Hence, turn off PVP

opt out of pvp and there is basically no reason to progress in the game except maybe to collect ships, since pve only gets harder for a bit better rewards. u can also remove more than half of officers from the game as u only need PMC/T, miners and armada crew. im also fairly sure whales spend so they get ahead in pvp not pve and scopely isnt going to remove incentive to spend
I rarely PvP, and it's my least favorite part of the game with the massive inbalance between levels, but even I think this is very much the wrong path. You would have half the galaxy switched over to Starfleet mining simulator mode and sitting zero node everywhere. People think nodes are a problem now, just imagine 2/3 or more of them full of unclearable people. And then you would have people that completely abuse it by turning it on and off again when convenient to them. So they go raid someone, fill up on someone elses stuff from PvPing their base, and then go into "you can't hit me" mode with their new full resources. Even some sort of timer cooldown to do this would have the same results there.
No, shields are there for this purpose. If you want a starship and crew collecting game, then it's time to move over to Timelines because that will meet that need for people.

If you rush ops all the time & don't take breaks to focus on ships, research & officers, you'll be that ops44 in a shiny new valdore getting murdered by a 39 in a gladius.
And that's just embarrassing. 
This mindset never ceases to amaze me - if you don't want to play against other players, why do you bother with MMOs? There are such things as single-player games where you don't ever have to worry about being "griefed"
I laughed super hard a few months back when the guy who left our alliance after just never listening to stuff like this bounced his Ops 39 level Auger off my poor level 34 base with no ships home and I barely scratched a cannon. It's not camping, but moving up at a pace that does not leave you with glass ships and people.
I'd certainly like the fancy new CLat miner or the Cerritos, but not enough to run and get them just to get them.

Eventually you get to a natural stopping point (I'd say around 40 is probably the first place to take a pause over and above waiting for ships to be able to manage dailies), and suddenly all that 3* research is super easy to max out

I'm not talking out my butt here... as I said, I've done the slow 2y run to 43, and I'm doing the faster run this time around (6m and counting), used a vidar til 34/ent to save materials for builds.
It is categorically faster to catch up upgrades, the higher you are ops wise.
Letting your ops get too far out in front of your research is a bigger deal at the lower levels, by the way. Starting in the upper 30’s, it’s not so much. Once you get there, you sorta need to change your mindset about camping on a level. You can definitely camp too long. Plus it takes 4 months or so to upgrade an ops level starting about there. Get ‘er going, and you still have months to catch up researches.
And the <40 economy is ten times better than it was before hand
My strategy has been to focus most of my speedups on research, and just let the buildings take what they take. The second builder helps a lot. You can devote one to long builds, and the other to short builds for the dailies.
Short builds = lat, and having never built a C+ generator outside of when needed for dailies 🙂
research for PVE doesn't make much odds, it does just depend on focus
disagree - having recently gone 39 to 41, the slowdown in 3* is extremely noticable - as in it's taking twice as long to build up 1000 unc
Every little helps - having events like heroic officer recruit switch to 4* has made a big difference to me
Not in uncs they're not - they are more generous overall I think (officers shards, trait & syndicate xp etc.) but scopely did tighten down a bit on the mats before xmas
you can't really compare the two runs - it's much faster in general to get to the late 30s now than it was back when the enty was endgame

I don't think that scopley should put more things in the territory store if they add them. On many servers territory access is highly restricted, so adding items on there locks out too many players. If added anywhere, it should be in more universal areas like the alliance store or away team or whatever that everyone at least has a chance to get to.

A lot of us on other servers with bigger players don’t grind much there anymore. And I’d rather pay. Raiding is a part of them game. A better ability chose on focusing on that aspect of it should be available. We have entire alliances dedicated to raiding almost exclusively.
Then earn it 🤷🏻♂️ earning your goodies is also a part of the game too.
If I may suggest this (been putting that in the surveys for 6 months +). To ease the pain that we are having with the exchange armadas like we are having today (BSE armada hunter SMS) can we have the 3 spaces above Penumbra reconfigured so those have level 37+ armadas in the as well as hostiles. For example have Resara and Kemetja have the same armadas and hostiles as Mige and have Andkara the same as Penumbra. Currently nobody is doing anything in those 3 systems and those systems are mostly empty.
Outlaw tree has been out now for a long time. Lots of people have high research in that tree and the amount of players that can successfully kill the higher level exchange armada is high and it creates a problem when we have events like this. There is just not enough of the 37+ armadas.
Same goes for the hostiles, we currently have just 1 system for everyone that need 39-40 exchange transports.
I mean it was done in the past to address a similar issue with us players only having a single system where we could grind the level 33 borg probes.

I could understand this approach if lats hard to come by. Although lats coming pretty ez from conc lat & dvor chests. Major 100+ days don't even make a dent in the lat reserves.
I would love to see a War tab in the battle log that gives you daily sitreps for each alliance you have crosshairs on. It could be a brief summary showing you your own stats for:
of individual targets killed
Total damage dealt
Power destroyed
Biggest victory & worst defeat
Average mitigation %
Players defeated the most
Players you lost to the most
I should also be able to view it in Portrait mode for better screenshots.
When I say “speed-ups”, I’m including Lat. You seem to have a lot more of it, though, than I can come by. I do full refinery pulls every day on lat refinery, so it’s not that.
A way to get Borg Armada tokens in game would be great too.
Can we for the love of God stop having armada events? It is the biggest time suck going around looking for ones to run. They are by far the worst events this game has to offer. Enough already. Oh, and get rid of the pop up banners!

Assuming this is the right place for this, but I know I personally, would love to see an ALB style screen associated with Territory Captures that shows how many points a particular alliance member scored in a Territory Capture. One that can be exported to a csv like the Battle Logs can be now. Would be super helpful for tracking TC attendance for an alliance and better gauge who is actively participating in captures. Could make it available for Admirals and/or Commodores to see and export.
Added to this, can we also have MORE diplo icons (like stars and + and O) and the ability to change colors? I want to see icons in purple, blue, yellow, red, etc
Out of hopeful curiosity, is it possible to make just a few interface changes? It is a tad clunky

Look at the list. See the little arrow next to Ship A? The arrow pointing into the star? That shows who the aggressor was. So far as I know, it’s the only reliable indicator.
@gusty jasper So here’s a gripe about exocomps. Some of them require the ship be docked before they will kick in. So, OK, I can live with that. But then, why do those same exocomps cease to benefit the second they run out. Case in point - the one that boosts battle XP gained. Seems to me, if the thing don’t kick in until docked, it should stay kicked in until the next docking. Or else, unlink it from the dock requirement, either way.

Yes, the attacker always attacks first, but there's a catch. For example, the Kelvin's kinetics don't fire until the second round, but if you look in the battle log, you'll see the first thing the Kelvin does is "charge weapons to 100%". That's technically the Kelvin firing first. While I haven't used my Augur in PvP in over a year, I'm sure it says the same thing.
I think they should release neros ship narada in the game
Please make lucrative zones not viewable unless your ship is in the zone. Too many issues with opc in token mining zones. I don't think there will ever be a problem with sending a ship and not finding a node.
On my server there is frequent shortage. Both are ROE problems 😉

I am say that if your going to try to recruit or make a friend in another alliance or other wise. Which would you do to seem friendly would you got out of your way if your going to hit said player to see if there around as you seen the miner over limit or a zero node.
If you can loot them, they aren’t worth recruiting. If you can kill them floating, they aren’t worth recruiting.

Trading post at various points in the galaxy where players can trade material, rss, extra bp, officer shards, etc. Alliance trading base for alliance members to trade with other members in their alliance. I crease amount of material and rss players get after refining.

Next QOL update recommendation. Better differentiation of when an officer can be upgraded by trait xp and/or officer xp. Kinda dumb to have green arrows on just about every officer when you have some trait xp saved up.
@olive gorge The latest update has caused the Officer info boxes to move slightly to the right of the screen & thereby, on iPhones, the 3 tabs along the right edge (Level Up, Promote, & Traits buttons) are all "hidden" behind the notch if the phone is held with the notch on the right. Missions:
Currently all I can do is add a star to a mission to flag it, and it goes ‘somewhere’ to the top of my available missions listing, among the others I have starred.
I would like a 🔝 option, so that the mission I am currently doing goes to, and stays at, the top of the list.
I would also like up and down arrows on all missions, so I can sort them into the order I wish to do them in.
Away Teams Missions:
It'd be nice to have a C.U.R.E. for telling commons/uncommons/rares/epics from each other rather than going into each one simply by putting a C for commons, U for uncommons, R for Rares, E for Epics on the mission icons on the main away team missions section.
The ones with away team credits are rainbows of color so it isn't easy to tell at a glance.

how about more weekly events linked to the special ships. Maybe add an ISO mining events similar to mining Monday where it has a solo board and SLB that would pay out some rss and iso-emulsion. The same similar idea could apply to the Vidar/Borg where it pays out some Independent credits, charged/active nanoprobes. Also one for the Stella Exchange where it pays out some Outlaw rep, Independent credits, uncommon, rare, epic uranium. This helps multiple things a better source of Independent credits so they at least somewhat closer to source like the other faction credits. Along with not making the other things like Nanoprobes and Uranium a lot less grindy. Plus it would make use of the special ships more active and engaging.
Luv the officer lvl view now, that would be great for ship lvls as well.

April SFTL website, they were talking about having server vs server war event instead of just merging
So this patch fixed the "SALE!" button from looking faded sometimes. I have to ask - why do we have two buttons on the main screen that do the exact same thing? Also, none of the packs ever go on an actual sale. It's not like we have a "25% off Prime Officers Pack Day!" Can we have an option to remove the "SALE!" button altogether?
The officer view is way more useful these days with todays update. It would still be nice to have a sort by upgrade cost. If there is an event to upgrade officers by 300k but I don’t have much exp like 400k it can take a while to find an officer(s) to upgrade @ripe tinsel

hello <@&509691205798592532> sorry for the tag, im not sure how you respond and if see all convo, but i have suggestion that many might like, add "archive daily missions" , the reason is so if someone for example want to mine some materials without effecting Reputation that you work for some other faction, or kill hostiles also without have that impulse need to click claim, i personally find it hard to keep that in mind after im just used to claim all for 4 years, for example due to the bonus refinery week, i had to mine again ore when im having Romulans locked on 1B mark, but trying to work on Klingons and it just mess up all my grind i do when i claim impulsively by mistake those dailies i dont want to claim

don't know if this has been discussed but it would be really nice if you included a sort in officers for upgradable that would also include the officers that you can level upgrade... keep them all bunched together. First would be those that you could promote.. then those that you could level up sorted by highest XP required to level down to the smallest amount.

#963 seems like this is already accomplished via the dots during away team mission selection which is where you would need this information most. You already know which officers will have traits or not since very officer has a set number based on their rarity. Adding more data to the officer screen would clutter up the icons more there now that they have already added the new level/tier indicators. I guess they could replicate the dots thing there, but I personally don't see adding it there as particularly useful vice where it already is in place.

I like the idea, but I've always assumed that territory is an attempt to make active pvp meaningful in STFC (a raid happens when 1 player is inactive, so that doesn't count). Having it on a schedule forces both participants to be active. Maybe that is the answer though, maybe any really meaningful pvp in this game will only happen when 1 side is mostly inactive.

I would prefer that massive fleet v fleet battles not be scheduled weekly at a set time. Having to be prepared for your own massive battles and those of your allies is draining.
Right now, in terms of PVP that has an impact on your ability to progress, STFC is about robbing people while they sleep or showing up in certain windows on a set schedule. I don't know what the medium ground is for territory, but I think there could be one.

Suppose they allow attackers to capture whenever they want, there's really no reason for defenders to muster a defense. It's almost guaranteed to be lost, especially if the attackers chose an off-hour.
From the defenders' perspective, it might just be better to let them have it, and do your own sneak attack to recapture.
That could be. Alliance starbases could be a potential mechanism for defenders to have off-time defense. I don't know. Maybe an alliance should only have access to territory benefits while they are actively defending it? set up a sort of war camp in the zone and when a player goes offline, their ships automagically get recalled. That's not quite right either. It would almost be easier to force everything inactive: dedicate a portion of your fleet to offense/defense and let it get hashed in the background, but that would reduce the strategy and skill element to nothing.
I don’t know of anyone who has quit because of Territories. I know a few who have quit because of the game crashing constantly, but not territories.
Maybe some sort of challenge mechanic? One alliance could issue a challenge so the defense time could float a bit. The details of the challenge could include a faction based mechanic, which would require some sort of align your alliance with a faction mechanic. Romulans would be sneakier and give less notice but have this advantage offset somewhere else, etc.
That’s alright then, the two alliances we’ve been accused of decimating and having 90% of their player base quit did so because of the crashes and it was nothing to do with the “coalitions” pushing them out of territory for smaller alliances that were more favoured.
Challenges could be used as a feint for a coalition too... Might be some possibilities there.
Could you please add back in the ships to the future faction rep store? It was removed almost a year ago. It is nice to know when ships would be available and how many credits will be needed.
When alliance starbases roll out, I'd like to see the following:
- Alliance research
- Ability for alliances to choose what type of mining nodes are in controlled territories
- Trading between alliance members
- Ability for alliance members to reinforce the bases of others who have their shield down and to repair their station with my own rss

Raiding seems slightly unbalanced in favor of the raider right now. I understand that it was skewed the opposite way in the first iteration of the game though. Personally, I'm hoping more for a starbase bridge crew (probably in the DS9 arc when they get to that) as a way to rebalance things.

so in your scenario, if the level 60 on my server hit my sad little ops 39 base and an ops 35 alliance member tried to help me, my bracket goes from 35 to 60 (which is bat dung crazy), but the 60 can't hit a 35, so would he just ignore the ships sent to help?

True, that is how raiding worked way way back in the day when I played Evony. To work, attacks had to be coordinated among several players and include feints at other targets to confuse the defense.
Bases follow the normal PvP brackets

On another game with similar mechanics to this, there was an alliance research that increased the effectiveness of helps. Went from 30 seconds to level 1 to 5 mins at level 20. A mechanic similar to that in one of the research trees or as a terrority bonus would be well received I think
Please make systems spawn like for like hostiles. For instance, if you kill a lvl 40 hostile, another 40 should spawn to replace it, not a 38 or 39. Each system should consist of 1/3 of the hostiles for each represented level and then respawn the same. That would dramatically improve grinding, dailies, events, etc.

SWITCHING SERVERS — Has it been determined that switching servers will only be available for small accounts? Members of my family started weeks apart, so we’re on two servers. Ability to scan low level ships. Like how we used to not be able to scan friendly (same alliance ships), I feel like we should be able to scan and at least look at low level ships if we’re curious about their crew, even though we can’t attack them.
For suggestion #1002, why not just get rid of the whole 'you cant see deepspace' Once you do the unlock deep space missions, there does not really seem to be a reason to not treat systems you visited just like the rest of the map outside of territories. So that kind of research either should provide an increase on the % amount or it would be utterly meaningless.
I actually like the fog of war, because it means that scout systems properly despawn. So when you go there and everything spawns fresh you are guaranteed a scout. If you see hostiles already flying about you know someone was just here and can move on instantly.
So much better than in regular systems.
Someone on the last round suggested that helps reset daily. So you'd get a new set of helps for your build/research every day. I think that would be much more helpful.

I don't know. I kind of like the idea of alliance research to change the time or percentage (maybe 15 sec or .25% at a step since .5% would likely be considered too powerful).
They do need to add more reasons like this to want to be in an active alliance and as a leader, to keep your alliance full of actives. On our server most of territory space is filled with moribund alliances seemingly held together by the leaders’ egos alone!

Open more than 6 chests at a time in Klingon recruit, Federation recruit Romulan recruit. There is a huge lag lately and it takes forever to open just six chests. Needing to do that 200 times would take an hour or two.

The amount being pulled is likely part of the lag.
Is it possible to put protection for those in armadas, and they're a) not able to attack anyone for 1 minute, b) not allowed to be attacked 10 seconds after the armada has finished

It sometimes lags 20-30 sec for me just buying 500 recruit tokens for 60 credits. Given that you can’t currently pull more than 6 chests at a time it would be a little odd for the lag to depend on how many times you previously pulled in the last few minutes.
Hm I don’t think necessarily previous ones, but I would guess it goes like this:
Click the button
Request is sent
Request joins queue for execution
Execution i.e. rng happens for every chest (1vs6vs30 boxes isn’t that much for a computer, but now imagine hundreds of people pulling stuff and doing tons of requests per minute)
Response joins response queue
Response is sent back to the client
So in that way, a previous request can delay / slow down queue of others’ / additional requests.
I believe it’s also the reason why a while back they removed trit tokens and such from a certain place - needed to join a different queue as there was no rng involved

Yup, until you hit something like memory pressure from the increased data sizes(and depending on how it’s implemented you don’t even have to have any/much larger ones), it’s gonna be a ton faster and less impactful for the server running a single request than multiple (unless they do something idiotic client side). The request payload size is going to be the same, or effectively the same (unless they have to switch from moving from byte to something like uint8, and the size of the Headers will dwarf any size increases from that field). Any account synchronization will only have to happen once instead of once per 6x pull (e.g. atomically deducting the cost of of the recruit tokens), which also saves any RTT to the backing store and load there. The response payload for a single request would increase, but you reduce overall outgoing bandwidth usage by deduping Officers between runs in the current model.
I have 1 more think to mention here.

Don't know what server you're on, but we've done it both ways with and without resetting and our points end up roughly the same in our TC's, so either they fixed it or they nerfed the nodes.

New officer ability suggestion. Sabatour while defending from an enemy player, if your ship is destroyed, has a 2% chance plus an additional 1% per level that the attacker is higher than your level, up to a maximum of an extra 8% to immediatly destroy the attacking ship.
I think it would be nice to use all 5 ship docking points on each space dock. Would be better than a garage full of ships.this would increase base power, also not make it so easy for players 5 or 10 lvls higher to just smoke ur base , without thinking of cost..would look kool as well.
You would still only be able to use as many ships as u have docks, but extra ships would be parked outside and useful for base defense 👈🍺🍺

Make it we’re clicking on scavenger armadas being done in your alliance tc takes you straight their instead of it always just taking you to the galaxy mao of tc would make an improvement in game play . Instead of this annoying bs of going to the general tc area we’re people have to hunt for it just to join it. Need improvements on joining armadas. Also fix the damn armadas to were they actually give what was originally intended, it’s bs doing uncommon to get epic armada tokens instead of the rare ones it originally gave. The Green arrow on about every single officer when staffing a ship doesn’t make sense.
Trait xp can be used on pretty much all of them so and I’m loading the Officers onto ships not Away teams, so the arrow should only show when visiting the Shuttle Bay, to load for away teams.

So basically the green arrow should just show in the shuttle bay when viewing officers. Now its just a bunch of arrows everywhere
#1051 has been at least partially suggested before as to earn some XP while mining. But you already do earn faction credit when you do your dailies turn in for that mining.
It's not even just trait XP that's the problem. Being able to use officer XP for levels (not promotion) also gets a green arrow now. :/
I think they tried to improve the arrows and it didn't quite work out as planned.
Like the folks that are totally maxed level and tier probably dont need any arrow. They are done.

Move base of "dead players" (left the game) out of territory after 4 or 6 weeks inactivity. E.g. back to a random lvl 1 System.

Where exactly is your problem? Each system with station spots has 4 planets with 6 spots so 24 spots per system. With 4 territories your whole alliance can set up base in territory. If you are a alliance with one of the biggest territory you should easily have 4 territories of your own.
I guess that could be seen as something good... but trait exp is unexcuseable. Noone will ever max all of the traits. Add to that maxed officers having arrows and the bugs are complete

Again count again Beku and Gelida your 4 are actually 2 systems. So with you current ownership you have more spots than you ever need. And than do the math. 24 Spots for each system. Even if you would only own 4 systems you would have enough. Use a calculator if you have problems.

I have an extremely serious suggestion, we need some “collect all” buttons, like in the Faction store, buying officer recruit tokens, for example. Some folks buy all of them, it would save time.
There has got to be a way To make turning in dailies and collecting Dailies faster, more streamlined, or take less time.
We just had an ops 50 player quit on our server, they stated the dailies and everything just takes too long to do each day.
My opinion is just add more options to do things in larger quantities like when buying recruit chess, make them bigger instead of just six chests. It may not seem like a big deal but everything adds up next thing you know it’s been hours and hours
Love this idea. Could we even have an "auto" button for refineries? The amount of administration (as I call it) every morning where I log in, collect every chest, collect rep, refine, spend stuff etc etc it's like it's a clicker game.
My implementation would have some sort of checkbox on each item, to mark as our "default", then the "claim all" button would claim all items with checkboxes (if possible).
The advanced implementation would allow you to load a script (Lua or python or scheme???) to play the game for you.... call it a LCARS interface.

So far they have not been able to make the away teams checkboxes stay selected between app resets, so I don't have a lot of confidence there, but that would be nice.
We need to get the extra dock cost lowered to $19. So many players would buy it at 19. 50 is too much and it gives an unfair pay advantage for events like mining/killing/etc. And that translates into refinery and spend events.

With all the ways we can improve impulse speed, it should be safe to cut it down to 3.
I think there's a whole officer ability here that can be strategised for PvP and PvE. One that increases combat length by +X seconds, and another that reduces it by -X seconds. That way you might be able to tie up a bigger ship a bit longer in territory wars giving allies chance to arrive, and when you've got an overpowering ship doing dailies you're saving time (which the game needs a really long hard look at)

It really should be a feature of the Hangar. There should also be a count somewhere of how many ships you have and the maximum you can have. The count is most useful before players have access to the Hangar though, so it need to not rely on the Hangar.
Do you really want a whale with a Newton or Norcutt to clear an entire system in 30 secs? Would make a TC more lopsided than what they already are.
Would be nice to have the following:
- a choice of military ranks vs current ranks for an alliance.
- ‘yellow’ diplomatic status between neutral and enemy
- Allow alliance Admirals to give out alliance or other tokens as rewards to members (based on the level of the alliance)

Go look at Steam right now and you can find over 30K entire games for under $5 while a single station part like a research queue or dock here runs 4x that. Seems a bit out of scope.

#1071 Allowing server transfers after level 11 can be very dangerous. Like a group of high level players migrating to a server to take over in territories and dominate the server. If this idea can be implemented there need to be strict barriers like a population control: you can only transfer to servers who are low in population and restrict players that are way above the ops level of an average active player... Certainly a lot of work and not something that can just be made possible.
We need way more than one new additional diplomatic marking. In fact any new ones should not have any significant "status" attributed to them. Just give us 3-4 shapes - square, triangle, diamond, star etc and let the alliance decide how ot use them. There are alliances that use 🖖 not as "friendly" but as "slap hands" - i.e. slap the ships of the alliance tagged this way..

#1089 that is what the 10 min auto shield is for. If you are not already using regular shield discipline, this is the fallback window to put up a larger shield. The effect of this suggestion would be to basically end raiding entirely in a PvP game.

I read it as an automatic thing and not a button thing which was wrong I've certainly seen and discussed problems with lag while being raided, but I've never seen it where you can't put up a shield. Not being able to repair because of the lag is a big problem however.
I have teammates who have not been able to hit the shield button while being actively hit after the 10 min shield has expired. A particularly good attacker can time attacks so that they go one after the other and there is no window to hit the shield button. By allowing a player to hit the shield button and have it take effect after the current attack, it prevents and indefinite assault from a determined attacker
Fair. Like I said, I have never seen this even when I went unshielded on a regular basis, but that does not mean it's not happening to others.

I think they need to fix the lag on attacks even registering as part of that. I have been hit multiple times in a row before my client even acknowledges the hit or give the option to repair. Playing defense is impossible if your own client is playing for the attacker for sure.
The other issue is that if you have the chat open there's no indication that you've been attacked

the shield function is to protect your base from raids, and that's all, if you want to attack others than you will accept to lower the shields and put your base at risk too
you should activate shields to cover your base when you are not in game, using one just long enough to last till you return to the game, or when you are in game and get attacked by a raider
Most servers have a RoE to counteract that and balance having available nodes for other players. if you were not zero noding or opc'ing your dealing with a rogue
Im not sure how it’s on new servers nowadays, but I do recall that it took a good long while for ROE to be widely accepted on mine (early 20s). Each server will be different though, and recent ones will have the benefit of plenty examples and a wide discord community
I think you misunderstand the concept of ROE. On many servers it’s been explicitly designed to limit the reasons for which other players can hit you. If senseless hits are your concern, a server ROE is exactly what could help (at least you personally).
With regards to the shields, sorry but just no. You are basically advocating the scenario where someone can attack ships and bases while remaining shielded himself. If you attack a ship it means you’re actively engaging with the game and that should always carry a risk

Some people buy them for the collector value or because they don't know any better or somebody convinced them that the upgrades were better that way for the level 26 ship.

I suggest every other Arc (every other month) is not new content, but instead a plethora of bug fixes, game optimizations for performance and speed on all devices and platforms.
There is enough content, many of us would like speed and efficiency, thus creating better pvp experiences and smoother hostile grinding with less hiccups.
a big suggestion, it may or may not solve some issues. purge the servers of all the dead bases, no sense in them taking up space on housing nodes, especially in territory.

Personally i find Suggestion #1149 very good. You could even go so far to remove the Level 19- Systems with it. Everyone gets an Autoshield that lasts the entire Event, but breaks if you engage in any PvP and you can not start a new shield for the duration of the Event. No rush. Just an idea for enhanced UI gameplay. In the system popup the rss and missions are shown. Especially for the DS systems i think it would also be helpful to show the type of the primary hostiles in that system (interceptor, Battleship, explorer or survey) and even maybe the faction. Usually i want to be in the up side of the attack triangle but I can never remember what type is in which system 🤣

1206, consider going to a harder system so that you can attack one of the non-survey hostiles and explode when you've filled the cargo. That'll save you warp home time at least.
Why do you need 1206 at all? Does the refinery take a lot more plunder eventually? Atm one or two trips is enough for the refine anyway. I spend maybe fifteen minutes of the exo every couple weeks is all.
here another suggestion: Reduce shop prices by 90%. - $100 for some in game items is ridiculous. This is twice the price for AAA game titles with several years of development. 😉
regarding 1209, if you look at a system with bases and you are all zoomed out, you don't see the level nor the diplomatic stance (hand, heart, red target) of the bases, you need to zoom in almost completely to start seeing them, I don't see a reason to have the level of zoom affecting this, in fact with the ships you see those thing at any level of zoom, I'm asking to do the sames for the bases

Has anyone discussed the "Daily Rewards Pack"? I can see where I could buy the Elite and Choice Daily Rewards, but can a player get the 'Standard' Daily reward? If a player can no longer get this reward pack, why bother having it in the resource claim tab?

I bought the standard rewards pack 1 time 2 years ago. The next month, I only had the elite pack option and I've never seen anything else since. I don't buy anything over $20 period, and I almost never spent more than $20 in a month (I did the $5 shakedown crew + a battlepass + the extra build que one month, I think that is the only time i went over $20), but I only ever see the expensive packs etc. I don't know why. I would never have bought them before and since my side gigs have dried up I don't spend at all anymore. Not spending for ~9 months now hasn't affected what they present me though.

Also when putting pvp events in place set the lvl range for fair fights between smaller lvl ranges. Heaven forbid you feel its ok to nerf Peace shields that have been around since day 1 but also enable pay to win players by giving overly sized pvp range so:-
set pvp events with smaller 5 lvl range max and actually apply a negative value to players like whales that camp low lvl players both in event points and by removing power destroyed value!
You will find more players likely to engage in pvp events and actually enjoy it instead of enabling pay to win like you always do!

I’m not one to write a observation usually, but here it goes: On server 47 there is a super dominant Alliance, basically dictating to other alliances, that is Apex look at the levels of the players, and they have deeeeeeep pockets, but i know money talks, but 95% of the players on 47 aren’t rich, but some are, several members are not enjoying the game, it’s getting ridiculous.
Alliance milestone events need to be based on alliance size. I know a lot of people that are sick and tired of all the politics and rules of the bigger alliances, but small alliances can’t complete a crucible of war (or similar). So everyone just stays in the big alliances and moans 24/7
Don’t care about the leaderboard events cause we can’t compete with the credit card warriors anyway. The milestone events should be achievable no matter what size of alliance you are in
For the suggestions to update the officer packs and throw more officers in, this really serves to dilute the officer pool significantly to where you can never get enough shards to tier the officers then. If they were to add all the new officers into the existing pools, they would also need to change the number of shards you get for each single pool to match it, i.e. if they double the number of officers then they need to double the shards that each pull gives you.
In this case the Discovery crew metric actually seemed to work a bit better where they provided a dedicated pool of limited officers, and a reasonable way to obtain the currency to do those pulls each week.
they should just put multiple chest with different officers, using the same basic currencies, like it is now that we have not one but two chests that uses ultra tokens
It also then detracts from the ability to pull officer XP which is a harder to obtain resource when you need millions for one level up.
That could also work, but they would need to increase the basic currencies. One faction hunt that gives you a handful of Ultras as the only source in 30 days won't cut it as is for that.
getting some more tokens will certainly be appreciated, but it is not strictly needed, if you already maxed the officers from one pack you will not need to buy it, and will buy to the other one instead
you will have a choice from different packs and have to choose witch to buy based on the content, not on the token type
and even if i said like it is now for the ultra, I don't mean that the new packs must all use the ultra, some of them should use the premium, other the standard ones
like, splitting the actual standard chest in two, one with kelvin recruits and miners, the other with next gen commons and chen group
so you will buy the one that contains what you need having more chance of finding the officer you really need
Well, since the game came out, they have probably increased the officer pool in total by at least 4-5x the number of officers, and in that whole time they have only ever increased the ultra pull for higher level players by 2 shards a pull. The basic ultra pool is already double what is started at. With those numbers, they would have needed to at least double that pull for new players to be able to even come close to catching up to those that started early. Your clean groups is a solution, but since this is also the only XP farm you still need to pull those others to get the XP to level them so I still argue that you would need some sort of currency increase or number of pulls per currency to keep up.
Either way, adding more people to the one pool as is is a bad idea.
@gusty jasper can we please get visibility to the number of ship bps we have for those ships that we can’t build yet because our ops level is too low? It would be a great way to enable us to plan our gameplay.

imo what sucks most about that is getting bps for ships that have research... if I have 28 envoy bps before ops 16 then those feel like they're completely wasted by the research I need to do to build it giving me only 2.

It would be AWESOME if we had the ability to share extra BP Shards with alliance members. For example I have 220 Vahklas shards. My game level is 32 (another server). Would love for them to disappear or transfer to someone who could use them.
UI Improvement: Add a link to missions
Game play addition ideas. To give us a break from hostiles and mining. What about the idea of non combat or mining tasks? All feel like a pretty light lift to me.
1.) Planetary, anomaly, or nebula (if added) surveys for explorers. Could add new crew ability ideas and could have daily tasks or missions to survey to find something on the planets.
2.) Cargo runs. Require a miner to pick up something from designated npc trading posts and take them to another (or from your station) for some small payout or daily goal.
3.) Defense missions. Defend an npc/your station/whatever from waves of incoming hostiles. Sort of like the seeking faction hostiles but more of an event.
4.) Bounty Hunt. Could be a larger lift. But what if there was a hostile you had to seek out, which was either guard or tried to escape you. You could track between systems but it’s hard to catch.
5.) Planetary aid or distress call response. Similar to supply runs idea, but maybe with a different flavor. Could maybe boost rep or something.

Waypoints, guard mode or escort, ability to change officers without needing to recall, ability to swap damaged ships out without repairing them first.

Event/missions for Augments to steal cloaking tech and install in all 3 Augment ships. Also something beneficial from plutonium - increased impulse and/or warp speed

Instead of this stupid incursion, why not add a component to the Cerritos ship. Let it be the flag ship of a fleet. Add to the fleet by all the ships being in the same zone. Then the Cerritos basically controls all of the ships in the 'fleet'. If a fleet hits a ship then it works like an armada. Or if a ship hits the fleet same thing. And if a fleet hits a fleet then the ships battle each other like a station. Would make things more interesting in the pvp realm. Much better than the current incursion crap. And would atleast give people some hope to have a better pvp. And a fleet can hit any ops level ship regardless of the ships in it. It engages more teamwork and discourages the rogue whale. Course the rogue whale could add other people to their fleet but that would mean they actually had team work. Would be a much better change to engage pvp than this stupid crap. Could even setup attack groups that fight in a shared space.
Number of ships allowed in the 'fleet' could be limited by research or level. Make the Cerritos a more interesting ship...
Suggestions go over much better if you don't curse at something else the entire time. 😬

You should have run an event that gave a token to each player in a server to cast a vote for if they want to server to compete and not disable shields in territory space especially when that is where we have to go to mine 2 and 3* iso not only that you need to add before mentioned isogen to open space

How about we give it a shot and see how it works. But incursions should NOT be scheduled on takeover days. They should be on the day no one has a takeover to be fair.

Hi everyone. I just wanted to make a query or a suggestion on support for alliance members and whether there were or should be any features to help your fellow alliance members grow, protect and unite?
For example, ability to donate resources to each other, ability to dock at another member's station for repairs if your station is far or even a trade of resources or latinum as a way to build relationships with other alliances. No?
A lot of new features lately have been focused on individual players. But I see merit in anything for alliances

Here, for example… forget the fact that I already have two of these three (The Augur refit and the refractive projectile), so they shouldn’t even be showing at all. There’s no immediate action needed here, why make 9 Amalgam “action needed now” notifications?
Or here. None of these are “new.” How can a mission that I’ve already sent out be “new?” Regardless, I can’t make these notifications go away. And so the one# I actually care about (dailies) are swamped by notifications I can’t get rid of.
Suggestion - Get rid of all the exclamation points. No one wanted this.
And this one… a main screen notification for Exocomps, which ends up being a notification for the exocomp store, which ends up being a notification that I could spend currency on the “special” exocomps button… but I don’t want to, because then I probably won’t have enough for tomorrow’s turn-in.
This is obnoxious, and nobody does this poorly because of incompetence. This is straight-up disrespect towards the player base. Fix it, Scopely. It makes the game unplayable.

Thank you for added the red markers that were missing in some tabs. However, you seem to have gone just a touch far. I recognize that it's going to take some thought and work to figure out the right balance point and that different vocal groups of people will be unhappy with it whatever you end up on. Please continue adjusting this and thank you for beginning work on this small quality of life issue.

They could have spent energy fixing stuff that we asked for on the community survey. This was not in it. I’m ok giving them compliments for work that is well done …. I have suggested this before, but after the recent update it popped into my head again:
Test the updates. Like in-game, in a test environment. So for instance this time everyone testing could've seen the red markers were a terrible idea (understatement).
I'm not. I have previously gone as suggesting that time working at Scopely should possibly be a red flag for future employers. However, I did find the uneven use of red tags in the refinery jarring and honestly do appreciate that they did something there. I do think they went quite a bit too far though, but it isn't a huge game-ending problem. Yes, they really could have spent the energy on better things, but I'm guessing someone saw this as a possible quick win. Let's face it, they need a quick win at this point. I'll give them points for trying because it did address something I thought was a minor irritation.
No points for them from me. There was a community survey that gave a robust response of suggestions on things to improve. They should use that as a roadmap rather than going rogue and figuring out things to do on their own.

If you are looking to overhaul the 10/4/24 hr and the PVP & PVE chests I would like to see a “treasure triangle” where the user can adjust between experience, blue prints, & material that would adjust the payout of these chest accordingly depending on this setting.
What do you guys think of overhauling mining/raiding mechanics? Maybe make it so warships can’t attack miners on nodes and then add a more balanced “pirate” class ship that can attack miners. Make it have good cargo and decently strong but slower and susceptible to warships? Basically a new “triangle” for our pirating fun
Might have some possibilities. Though I would be more inclined to go with faster but weaker (like the vidar once you get into the mid-30s) - similar to how a pirate ship was stronger than a galleon, but weaker than a reasonably sized warship of that era (but faster).
I could see that working. Maybe add some loop like some of the newer specialty ships to source content. That way we can actually incentivize pirating. Maybe even give it an ability that takes part or protected cargo
Taking protected cargo may be a step too far and would de-incentivize mining. Maybe an amalgam-like mechanism where it gives bonus loot from the shards of the mining node damaged by the combat.
Bring back the Helps Received screen or show how many helps have been received on a repairing ship.

To be "Legitimate" the pirate ship would have to be fairly close to the miners in effective power.
Suggestion: hire a human interface usabilty tester or a team of actual players to Beta test and provide feedback on proposed changes. Aspects of this red marker fiasco should never have made it into Production.
I can no longer see MY requested helps and how many the alliance has given… it use to show in the help tab… but it is now empty except for requested helps.

One of the things that would benefit players is the ability to cue more then one ship for scrapping and to be able to speed up scrapping. After all you have multiple build and research cues and everything can be speed up except for scrapping which doesn’t make any since.
That’s the idea. Maybe even make it many tiers with locks that open at each new miner unlock level

On pc version you cannot copy your own messages... It would be good if you implement copy ferature to users own messages...
And tbh this game has run what 4 years? and you havent improved alliance features at all...
- Donate mat to ally player
- Move armadas to own tab so that alliance chat is not floated byt armada messages
- Add signup features to armadas till example using + would auto add you to armada and star you as a attendad
- Groub chat, till example diplomatic negotiations and so on armada chat between players
These features would allow higher ops support lower players
also make armadas a bit more orgaised and ability to have group chats
- Send a notification to players not online

What would be cool is if all of that empty area to the left of Fed space became, like, dark space where interserver play took place.
There would be pure PvP systems (levels would be bracketed; i.e. you'd warp in and you could only see your Ops peers within a short level range) in which there would be Takeover-like contests that reset every so often...
One system cluster could have capture the base-type games where you had to convert a planet to your team color by killing intruders and outnumbering opponents for, say, 8 minutes (teams could be picked arbitrary or you join as a group) and the team with the most flags at reset wins something.
Could have systems with CoD Domination-style contests (level bracketed) where the player with the most kills in an hour wins something, up to 3 prizes per player per day, etc.

While I agree in game communications options are extremely limited, discord already is an excellent tool for this. Personally I prefer some external means (with historically mostly correct notifications) than a half baked internal solution

Good evening President @gusty jasper . Suggestion to introduce a grinders path towards 2nd builder/researcher.
Rationalle:
- it has been available as a paid option for a long time now so value has reduced since launch. (Over a year I believe).
- with the bulk of free2play and low spend approaching G4 (on my server at least) the time to build and research is becoming prohibitive to play, and slowing progression. This results in wider disparity between players, and less "food" for those in the middle and the top who keep the lights on.
Let's bring in a grinders path so I can keep up and be whale food again!! (Seriously... not joking, i wanna stay relevant in game, help me).
Perhaps the tokens could be made available in cosmic cleanup? Event stores? Away missions? Special events for those who do not have them (similar to how the cerritos and iss jelly events only show for those who dont have the ship yet)
I don't think it makes much sense to offer camouflages in the shop that you have already activated or bought. Just makes it confusing.
So many useless items in inventory. There should be a store to cash in tokens that are no longer useful. From Augment recruitment tokens and Alpha/Gamma tokens to Next Gen. Passes. I still have borg tokens and Klingon tokens that are no longer of use.

Does it? You don't score in the event until you actually unlock the refit. Just having all the shards for it sitting in your inventory doesn't count. Can you unlock a refit you already have?
It did before. We had someone on our server accidentally buy the wrong refit during an event and CS wouldn’t switch it or refund it because it still gave him the event completion.

On (unofficial) 1368, I think the level ranges for PvP could use some adjusting at the lower levels too. The floor of -2 is fine, but I don't see many reasons to cap it at +2... If a level 12 can successfully hit a level 18 that's on the level 18 player.
But yes, it is ridiculous how unbalanced it is in favor of higher level players. Someone in my alliance learned the hard way this week that level 30+ with access to the level 28 faction ships (and better) can attack low 20s...
Definitely believe the pvp ranges need serious adjustment.
You want to keep players longer and to avoid burnout and boredom. Make uncommon and rare resources raidable . The slog at mid to higher levels is almost intolerable and insurmountable for most. Hence players leaving the game.
or, you know, instead of letting the stronger prey on the weaker even for mats, they can source them better to everyone
