Out of directives and … out of time … some people have real life’s Scopely and can’t play 24/7 to watch armadas show up !
Make directives easier to get , make milestones not so high and make more armada systems !!!! If everyone is after rare and epic this is what you get !

You had 2 days and the armadas spawn very fast 😅 if you open some boxes you get enough directives over the time. Was even easy to finish with slow spawning DS armadas. If you are f2p, I would always save up some directives for events like that. Starting 1 epic and 2 rare or 2 epics or 3 rare and join a few is easy doable in 2 days

From ops 36 you start getting jelly blueprints from epic armada chests, best to save Epic chest credits until your ops 38, as the chance for jelly BPs is slightly better as no more Hiajcked ships diluting, and the chance of a full pull,
I got my jelly BPs over 5 months of epic chest pulls.

Also if your alliance has a 3* zone you could spend the territory emulsion on Blueprints too, to slightly speed that up, but it is a bit expensive

So if you complete both 24 hour events you can get a grand total of 4 rare officer shards OR 2 epic shards. That seems really low for 2 events. Especially one requiring you to send 640 alliance helps or 160 contributions. No one should have to be on all day or spend that much for 2/4 officer shards. (And also complete the mining event)

Why not D’vor parts instead of freesha bp’s, or both?

I have a tier 8 D’vor. I need parts to get to tier 9 and then I can scrap. There’s no chance I’ll earn enough in this event to get 60 freesha bp’s. Anything less would be a waste as I won’t be able to get any less than 60 from anywhere else. So once again, 3rd event store in the D’vor arc to not give out D’vor parts

The event store is absolute garbage. The payouts are to low and the options are far to few and mostly undesirable.

I don't complain ever and I'm sure it was already said but it cant be said enough imo.

They have an actual Ferengi running the last 2 months of events and stores. Cheapskate payouts, overpriced, and poor quality is how I would describe events from February and March.

It's really messed up to me that you all doubled the scoring for the Luck of the Ferengi event, but you're not going to compensate the players who finished the event already. Had I waited 6 hours to start, I'd half spent half the lat that I did to complete the event.

I get that you did it because the scoring was damn ridiculous, and some players never would have been able to finish. But there are a ton of players that can spend the RSS (that are hard enough to come by for F2P), and are going to spend half of what I did on the same event just because they started later. How is that fair in any way?

I understand your annoyance at the point change; however, there were a number of players effectively locked out of completing the event. As an SMS, it should be doable for everyone in my mind.

This wasn't ideal timing, but ultimately, it was the right thing for Scopely to do for the majority.

Please fix the Treasury event as players have incorrectly been given "compensation chests" of points for the event. Many players should not have been given these chests, e.g. they have a Treasury of level 6 but have scored 8-900 points for this. So the wrong players win an event that other people have spent money to compete in. This isnt fair.

Alright, so this Luck of the Ferengi event is just awful for larger alliances who have been around for a while. Our Alliance is Level 29 and we have some members in the 20s and early 30s who have no chance of completing this event.

It costs 20.5 million Parsteel or 1.54 million Dilithium per donation...those numbers make it nearly impossible for them to finish...unless they drop alliance tags and make a level 1 alliance to do the event.

Is this the game design Scopely wants? People to just leave their alliances and rejoin 8 hours later to have any shot of doing these donation events?

Luck of the Ferengi “fix” didn’t change anything in my game but the popups. Only 30 pts were actually being added to my score, which I noticed this morning as I was getting close. Donations scoring was counting the doubled weights, but not helps. I’m just lucky to be in a top alliance where helps are always flying

I'm several days into CS tickets for missing points across multiple events and a missing comp chest. Their response rate right now is pretty dismal.

Scopely, you have REALLY fouled up the Disappearing Act event. By changing its rewards to give only dabo tokens, you have not only made it very much harder (impossible in fact, unless I made a math error) to complete it without buying additional tetryons, but the extra tetryons you would have to buy to complete it will cost you more in dabo tokens than the entire event gives in rewards.
The winning strategy for Disappearing Act with these changes is now to progress as far as you can with the tetryons you started with plus whatever free tetryons you can get from Gifts during the event — which is probably milestone 2 or 3 — and then walk away.

Actually I just realized that because it is a two-day event, it is JUST BARELY possible to complete it if you use a L26 ship, you start out within about 30 of maximum possible tetryons, and your cooldown timing is such that you are able to collect tetryons three times during the event

I really hate these armada events. There aren't enough rare and epic armadas out there. There aren't enough directives to run them. Lower level and upper level players are competing to get places in armadas. Between arcs, I've stopped running armadas because of these issues.

How these armada events are scheduled is unsustainable (as F2P anyway). The last run I essentially ran out of rare and epic directives, and I have not reaccumulated enough to complete this run, so I haven't bothered. My feedback: more points should be awarded for participating in armadas, the amount of directives you get can get between runs of the event should be increased, or more than FKRI armadas should contribute points. Or any combination of that.

Hey everyone, since the last two days of the battle pass have been Clear the Coast, and I am a newly Ops 27 with no Stella, I wanted to figure out good crew layouts for my ~430k Kumari to complete the event, and for grinding out Security Codes to purchase Stella Blueprints in the Rouge Store

• T4 Cadet Uhura (1)
• T4 Cadet McCoy (1)
• T3 Chen (15)

This is your standard damage mitigation crew for anything except interceptors/Swarm (where you use T’Laan instead). It reduces damage for energy weapons with Chen’s officer ability, and then all sources with Cadet Uhura’s Captain ability which is boosted by Cadet McCoy’s officer ability and synergy. With this crew, I was able to consistently get 12 lvl 27 Exchange Traders

• T2 Yuki (10)
• T1 Decius (5)
• T3 Chen (15)

Using this crew, I was able to get 17 lvl 27 Traders in a single run, a bit more than a 50% increase over the Cadet crew, and allows me to almost complete the event in 2 runs instead of 3 (I think it will be a few traders in a 3rd run instead of requiring a full HHP run)

The reason that this works is that Exchange Traders are survey ships with very high SHP/HHP, but pretty low attack power, so normally battles last for a very long time (Cadet Crew was ~50 rounds). Since the Traders’ shields start at 1MM SHP, Yuki effectively does 100k “damage” by herself during each of the first ~10 rounds (slightly less since normal attacks also deplete the shield), and Decius boosts attack power pretty quickly since the traders have very low damage, but still attacks 4x/round (As an example, my Kumari’s energy weapon started at ~26k damage and ended at 39k damage, so averaged at ~32k for an effective increase of 23% over the course of the battle).

This event has a high point total to complete. Putting it the day after swarm Sunday is just bad planning, plan these meta events better. This month's recruitment events for Rom have been an extremely negative aspect of this arc....and to be completely honest they are really just not fun to engage with. Mostly because of the armada event making the whole stated point of the meta (a free epic officer for those willing to work for it) feel unattainable without making a purchase.

General feedback:

1. if you want to have this number of armada events, you should have events or gifts for armada directives, otherwise it's a naked demand to spend
2. no one, absolutely no one wants this many back-to-back swarm events, and if you can't look at your arc plans and see via automation that you're doing this and how it interacts with regularly scheduled events like Swarm Sunday, your arc planning review isn't fit for purpose, you need to get on that urgently
3. similarly, event scores remain badly broken, absolutely no one wants to kill swarms over and over and over on top of having to do it for days on end, if you aren't able to figure this out in planning with automation, your event parameter management isn't fit for purpose, you need to get on that urgently

I haven't seen a player satisfaction survey in a while, particularly with the poor quality of the recent arcs and the utter failure to get to sanity on the g4 economy, which is a primary driver of player attrition as servers age, I have to wonder if the point of this game is to write a Harvard Business Review article about how you managed to maintain revenue growth quarter after quarter while driving your net promoter scores to ever more abysmal lows.

I’m leaving the game and that will be irrelevant for folks, but it’s what I’d prefer to do rather than support such a short sighted change within the game.

The treasury could have been a reward system that encourages people to play more and to buy more. Instead you put a $100 price tag on it. This particular option just feels like a slap in the face. Take off the 'desealing rods' and adjust the rewards to reward those that play the game and make your money elsewhere. Give the users something that encourages them to play more. This does just the opposite. Not to mention the so called 'buffs' they add are a joke. At ops 43 and treasury at lv 12 I have yet to see ANY change.. probably to base. But then again the syndicate buffs are the same way. Have not seen any real changes there either and that is at lv 13.

The exocomps buffs are a joke, especially the research/build ones ... how is an 80% increase in speed does not cut almost in half the build time is beyond me ... it is what 80% means ... when you do something 80% faster, you cut your time almost in half ... only for scopely that 80% means something like 0.8%

I personally stopped buying packs when i got drained because my game showed I applied a shield and their server showed i did not, so i got raided overnight. They refused to do anything about it, so I decided its not worth spending my money on it anymore. As long as people have money to throw at this game, that will tell the devs their way of doing things is working, and unfortunately there are a lot of people that can do that

Tbh I don’t know what the base values are for a lot of things. Scopley keep it hidden from us in game. If you check STFC.space, Ripper’s website, you get all the base times for stuff as needed.

I have a major complaint. I have sent in 2 different tickets in. One is almost 2 weeks and the other is almost a week. The second you message them it says Sorry we are busy and will take up too 48 hours to get back to you. Both my tickets are over this. It seems about every time I send a ticket in, I get no response at all. I’m missing officers I never got from contests and bought rss to beef up my miners. I apply it and says it’s done but I reload the game and it shows one not even done which I did them all. Now missing over 1000 rss on one miner. Plus they don’t even want to talk to you. This is becoming really stupid of them.

Just to be clear, my dissatisfaction with the event has nothing to do with the costs, which was obviously a joke and intended to be fixed all a long. I personally just think the event itself is terrible, and am not happy that it looks like they are setting it up to be another recurring between-arc event, like Apex and Borg. I don't want this event every month, or every three months, or ever again. Mining Monday sucks enough, I don't need it to extend to the weekend.

Would it really be so hard to offer the ability to exchange our remaining currencies for lat or some other useful item?

Based on these numbers the exchange rate is 2.9 lat per Quark coin. If we had an exchange feature similar to how we can use multiple speed ups which starts at one and goes up to whatever our max currency is then I could exchange this 1150 Quark coins for 3335 lat, which I could then use for something else.

Instead my only option to use up the currency is to buy 11 more D’Vor BP’s that I don’t need and I’m still stuck with 50 Quark coins I can’t use.

For those of us who have been playing a long time we have a lot of leftover currencies that we will never use and have no way of getting rid of what so ever. All they do is sit in our inventory and collect digital dust.

It’s this kind of idea where the Feringi could have been better implemented into this game.

For example:

Instead of giving them officer abilities which have nothing to do with their in ST roles you could have given them true trader bonuses. When assigned to a ship which goes and visits a “trade post” the player can exchange these unneeded items (like all the useless lower level ship BP’s we accumulate hunting hostiles) and depending on who we have in our command spots it would impact the exchange rate or offer a bonus return (like how we get random lucky pulls on officer shards).

Can you all start thinking out of the box a little bit?

I was level 15 when the Meridian came out; I won the bps but had to wait months till I got to level 25 to build it. I was in my low 20s when the Amalgam arc ran; you have to be 31 to build it. I was 26 when the Feesha arc ran; you have to be 35 to build it. I’m 27 now; it’s going to be 36 to build the Cerritos. I feel like no matter how much I grow and progress in the game, I’ll never “catch up” enough to be able to fully participate in the arcs, because Scopely keeps moving the bar on what level you need to be at for the new ships. (Yes, I know there are paths to get them later; it just stinks to constantly be left out of the fun that month.) As a player who wants to engage with the game, that’s a demoralizing feeling.
I’ve never seen Lower Decks so I’m not judging the content till I see it; I do like the idea of the added depth to crewing that lower decks abilities have the potential to offer. I’m just disappointed to go into yet another arc feeling like players my level are being excluded yet again.

Love the Arc!
I’m sure most of the negative comments are from people who’ve never seen it.
There’s plenty of good content in the two seasons of ST:LD.

I, for one, am also not too thrilled with the cartoon characters. It would have been a bit better with more of an anime figure. But what really saddens me is there is only these new and limited officers allowed to utilize abilities from the lower deck. When I read about the upcoming lower deck ability use, I was all fired up with ALL the possibilities of utilizing existing officers abilities from the lower deck. THAT is something I would pay money for and it would make for some really awesome ship crews and really enhance gameplay. But I can understand if the programmers are not up for the challenge of incorporating this ability into the game.

It’s a brand new mechanic, it seems odd to assume that there won’t be more officers in future with lower deck abilities. This is just the first iteration.

Well, just judging by past game additions.... and they have not really made this very clear as to the end product.

They can add as many officers they want. But when things get tight and they put a trickle of shards behind a metric ton of spend events? They'll be as useful as all the other officers I have sitting at level 5 or 10 🤣

I figure I'll be able to max out HG Worf using the standard grinding and refining method of a maxed out amalgam by about the year 2028...

I’m less concerned with the fact they picked a cartoon, and more concerned that you have to not only buy the ship, but many of the events are either bonus or dependent on it. And before you say “so was the Feesha”, you could scrap Dvors to get that totally free. And on top of that, the ship is useless unless you also buy a way into the new research, and once again here we are with events based on TC…which has never been anything but bad. I just shake my head that each arc becomes less about fun for the player, and more about how much money Scopely can make.

General observation about recent content quality over the last few arcs: problem players are getting bored and going on sprees a lot more often lately. Since the Ferengi arc landed, we've had a month of war, a few weeks of people making an effort at detox, followed by a succession of players flying off the handle in a way that's flagged on our server-wide Discord once a week, usually because they're unhappy with all the making up and resulting lack of conflict.

It's not like we didn't have personality conflicts for years before this, but there's a lot more acting out as content quality has sagged.

I wonder if other servers are having similar experiences.

Though I agree with the big difference in 'atmosphere' adding cartoon characters, it does not surprise me that they are promoting a current product instead of introducing a past series like DS9 or Voyager. More money to be made, cross platform (streaming, etc.) by adding their current series characters. To me, it's all pretend anyway so who cares. If you don't like em, take a break for a month from the BP events. Easy enough to avoid them if you want. Just keep up with your regular dailies. Of course that only hurts you in the end when other's have the advantage of those characters and you don't.

Frankly, people are taking this much too seriously.

I am so far behind on Star Trek shows that it doesn't matter to me anyway. Just started watching the first season of Enterprise. 5 episodes in and really liking it, though I wish I could 'skip intro' on Paramount+ because that theme song nearly kills me. WTF had the idea to add a song like that. Horrible, lol.

I actually like Lower Decks and I don't mind it being added; it already was in Timelines (as was TAS) and STO. It is considered Trek canon, more so than some of the comic storylines this game has covered in the past (though those are fun too and I love comics). Under the principle of IDIC, I think it's time for all of us to accept - not every Trek is for every Trekkie. I personally cannot stand Discovery - nails on a chalkboard for me, but I like Picard and most of the older shows (even Enterprise) to varying degrees. I'll even watch the first movie!

Lol, I just binged the 10 non-Kelvin timeline movies over 4 days. It is comedic how much better both the acting and special effects get over those 10 movies. I am planning to watch the remasterd Star Trek motion picture on Parmount this weekend. Should be .... interesting.

I was... less than impressed, watching a couple clips from Below Decks, but then the newer style of animation isn't my speed. I will probably watch it eventually, because it does look pretty frickin' funny but don't have it in me right now.

I actually giggled when I realized the mission storyline here was about Evil Computer. In the show, he is basically HAL9000 and he is voiced by Jeffrey Combs (Shran, etc.). Made me smile.

I may have to take a head first dive into it this weekend, to try and get more interested in this arc. Shouldn't take too long to get through both seasons, since episodes are less than 1/2 hour long.

Don't get me wrong: I've watched Lower Decks, enjoy the series, but what I think of the content is a very different matter than the fact that there's been a sharp uptick in what looks like negative responses over the last three arcs that has changed the playing environment decidedly for the worse. People are getting bored and causing mayhem.

Glad you don't mind Lower Decks. I absolutely hate it, it's an abomination that ruins the game and the art needs to be removed. Every time I see that crap art I get angry and feel like not playing.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I felt like through the entire Discovery arc.

But I chose to let people who actually like it enjoy it because it was temporary and it isn't like I'm forced to use those crew.

Mental note: Remind the team we need an airlock for crew so I can throw Burnham out of it.

Sorry, this arc just isn’t doing it for me. Simpson’s version of Star Trek is just… sad. I would have paid good money for a Defiant class ship… instead we get Mr Burns from the Simpson’s on meth. Hard pass. One of the few times I won’t vote for content with my $.

sorry to here you say that but it is your choice, tbh its official star trek stuff and its apart of the Cannon and other star trek games added lower decks. Such a small thing to quit a game over, this has been one of the smoothest and best arcs in awhile

tbh i dont really get the hate on this arc, u dont see the 2d officers unless u sit there and click on them and look at them the whole time, how much time do u spend on the officer screen and the Cerritos is a 3d ship in game

I was really enjoying this game for the most part. Turning it into Mary Poppins just totally ruined it. I don't care if LD is a great show or not, mixing a cartoon IP with a series of live action IPs, is a huge mistake. It is visually and creatively jarring. Mixing the two only belongs in MGM musicals and Disney movies. It completely ruins the feel and mood of the game as it has been. Creatively, it is weak and it is obvious that it was done as a promotional tie-in which just makes it that much worse. It says their creativity is driven only by the almighty dollar, not creative integrity. As a professional artist and film maker, it actually makes me realize that they are not serious about creating a quality product. LD is just another in a long line of cheap looking animation styles that have set animation back decades.

Defense platform points is likely a bug and the dev team are investigating. Hold off on building defense platforms on the 9th for the power event

I feel bringing LOWER DECKS into the game how you did was mistake. Having cartoon characters is ridiculous. Having avatars as a reward for grinding hostiles is frustrating.

I've enjoyed the first two seasons of LD. Bringing it to STFC made me laugh. Kind of hoping we eventually get the whole crew as officers. I need Shaxs and T'ana on board.
