Same here. I'm 31 in a 31-32 bracket, which makes no sense because new ships are unlocked at 32 that I can't compete with. 2-level brackets are good, but they have to start on even ops levels.

Scopely: PVP doenst work in this game. It is all predefined by money and level. Even if you try, the awful lag makes it a bad experience. Remove PVP events and stop that Teritory nonsense. It simply is not fun at all.

Crash your biggest ship into the "Separatists 💀" in Pareleon (or other similar system in Kli or Rom space depending on your ship type) and if it's still impossible that means your ship is weak for your ops level. Also good crew is important

PvP event as usual is a joke. Odd level players need not apply. The bracket set up means that even level players have the advantage of the next tier of ship. At 33, the best ships I can in theory field are the B'rel, Gladius and Intrepid, yet I'm expected to face opponents that can field a D4, Augur or Enterprise. How is that even close to balanced. If the levels had been even-odd, players in each bracket would have been on a more equal footing.

It depends on your ops level.. as you increase your ops the events get harder, you have to make sure you're upgrading your ship accordingly

It only takes one or two people to throw off the balance though. On my server in my bracket (25/26) there's one guy with a Mayflower that is wrecking everyone. Bunches of Kumari's, one Mayflower, and he's killing them all. Eventually a D3 or Legionary may get him, but it won't be anyone at Lv 25, that's for sure.

Basically the 25's have to PVP each other, and try to avoid the 26's

Why if one has met all event requirements, however lvl has supassed lvl ship yard requirements ... Franklin, Vidar, Stella which can be obtained for free during events. Is it now only offered in store to aquire BPs and all other goodies one would recieve RSS, MATERIALS, OFFICER SHARDS not offered. Surely members of server are reaching requirements probably daily, yet events aren't being offered even though events that require or offer bonuses when using those ships run as events? ... having to pay $50 basically to attain these ships that during events can be obtained for free is a travesty to those players who desire them ... Scopely is that fair practice to your many members ??

Someone made a big mistake. PvP event has been awarding points outside of player level. Event states clearly that specific levels are PvP in Specific systems. But players are being awarded points for hits outside of the level indicated for the system. One player told me he had made most of his points off players 4 levels from his own. That's not right or fair.

What's you best ship and crew? At lvl 28 I'm sitting on a 880k sally with Pike/Moreau/Chen and taking out explorers in Paraleon is dead easy. Took less then 5 mins to complete the event by killing 6 bosses. Should also be doable with a 450k Kumari with PMC, but takes 5 or 6 repairs.

If you don't have Pike, you can also try the cadet crew or a burning crew on the bosses. Keep in mind that it's about hull damage, not number of hostiles killed.

Hello, could you please post the systems for all levels when you next do a pvp event? The grind of this game is time consuming enough... My day so far - wanted to get a score in separatist hunt only to find you put Aesuri as the pvp system for lvl 22-23 and intentionally collided pve players with pvp. Then I tried to get swarm done but wait - 23-24 players pvp is in er'yozun and I get unwanted pvp again. I can't see which systems are pvp for other levels I can only get frustrated at you because other players just wanted to score points. Not that I see the logic of intentionaly causing these collisions to begin with but at least inform players so we have a choice...

You ruined it by grouping LVL 40 & 41 players with LVL 42-50 players. Anyone 42 and above and has a Kelvin, Valdore or Katinga (or higher) can easily outscore in this event due to the massive repair costs of tritanium. Then, you gave a pack with 1.2b tritanium in it.

Please stop grouping lvls as such, 42-50 should be a separate group.

The PvP leaderboards either need to become milestone events or they need to be made so that a loss costs points, would stop basically all the "kill trading" that there is literally no realistic defence against and leads to 2 people winning events and no one else having a chance

PvP Event

My band (35-36) on Server 15 hasn't had any issues that I know of, and overall I'm enjoying the event. I had one guy want to exchange hits with cheap ships to get a bunch of points; I preferred to earn mine.

-- The trit spend is ridiculous and can ruin a proper PvP event. We need events where spenders can't buy their way to victory.
-- The 5m pts for a kill is crazy. It lets anyone use Realtas or whatever cheapest ship they can get into their system. Just let damage dealt count.

Exploits I've seen:
-- Exchanging hits for points. Two players on opposite teams can just band up and hit each other back and forth with the cheapest ships possible to get massive lead.
-- Hitting bases. The 37-39 band is in Ayvren, a based system, and hitting a base over and over with Realtas gave Win points. One alliance on server 15 exploited this overnight.
-- It seems some folks here are reporting they can get points in systems that aren't theirs, but that might be getting points for non-same-band players. Which I can do in Sirius. Killed a 31, killed a 40, got points.

Even with Pike, throwing Vemet on a 600k Legion or Bortas will let you net 4-8 Million per hull. It makes it pretty easy. Though I haven't actually tried the non-bosses since I got Pike.

Don’t ever make pvp events as solo leaderboards ever again. 99.9999% of players don’t even bother to play because the top 1 or 2 always collude to rig the scores.

Pvp should be solo milestones, that encourages people to actually play

Coming here to say, I thought yesterday’s PvP event was the most successful one yet. The narrow bands kept it competitive and fun. I know there is a lot of negativity on this server but I would highly encourage more events like this!

Some people did make some ship upgrades, but in my bracket the #1 player won via repeated PvP victories. The “spend” option did not necessarily mean a guaranteed win.

I think the pvp event was better than before, but not quite perfect.
The trit spend part was unnecessary as this is a pvp event, not a rss spend event. It also gives an advantage to those that can upgrade ships, again not pvp.
Also, there was a lot of friends helping with miners to grind points rather than actual pvp. I think only scoring points vs warships would help, and maybe limited to last 3 top warships a player could build eg at 34 its limited to saladin lvl and up.
Overall better, but not quite there imo

Guys the Takeover Event seems very arbitrary. This event should at least run a full week and not only a weekend. Alliances that have Territory whichs capture times are not up during the weekend are just disadvantaged.

For what reason are stella blueprints not available in my event store? I am level 27 and have one stella currently, having earned all blueprints at a much lower ops level (24?) during the initial arc. Checking with others, others level 30+ have them available. I am unsure about 28s or 29s (or even other 27s). As stella can be built starting from shipyard 27, I would think stella blueprints should be available that level or earlier.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for finally including the little Jellyfish in the Events store for higher level players (i'm 35) I have been playing since November 2018 and have been on 74/75 BPs for 18 months or so. Finally I can compete in those PVP events......

That said, why o why did you limit it 25 BP's????? The alliance I'm in on server 153 (NXOI) is filled with 2yr+ players and many of them need more than 25 BPs to complete their Jellyfish, please please please remove the 25 BP cap for players (especially ones that wont use this ship outside of those PVP events).

So close (and lucky for me), but yet so far for many many others 😦

I would like to throw in and agree that it is stupid that you can't get the Stella bps in the event store before level 28. It goes against every other BP I can find. I have Centurion BPs in my event store and at lvl 27 I clearly can't build that yet. What is the problem with letting someone spend their credits on whatever BPs they want? I've done all the research to be able to build it but I don't feel like I should need to rush into Ops 28 just to get it when that isn't even a requirement for building the ship. steps off soap box

Event store currency very difficult to win as it’s a lot of SLB events and at my spot it’s only the top 7 and I’ve done all I can right now and I’m 20th. We’ve had no Discovery anamoly events to use the Discovery refinery. PvP was terrible. Heck i haven’t seen an ISS Jellyfish event in a long time. Based on the calendar of events they really mailed it in on this arc. Can I get a battle pass refund? Easily the worst since we started this style last year with the borg. Please rescue us with some faction hunts or CoW a few times or more SMS events to get event store currency.

Can Race to Ops 20 come back? I think it needs to be a monthly event to keep people moving forward. I read if you upgrade in the middle of a battlepass the rewards don't change to 3* materials. I am at ops 19, I already have a franklin and a northstar. Need 50 more bps for a jelly. I see frequency modulators offered, but will need warp conduit to tier it up. Could higher end to bps to higher ships that I would get i the near future or access to better officers.

I really wish you could see the deplorable state of game play on server 32 captures. Duportas capture active atm, but there is too much lag for the system to even load properly. Can’t see ships. If I manage to see ships, I can’t click on them to target. If I manage to click on them to target, they fly right between my legs. If I manage to get the system to load and target a stationary ship, the attack ties up my ship for minutes. FIX OUR GAME 😡

The server simply cannot handle 14 alliances fighting over a territory.

Captures are determined purely by who puts more ships in system. Killing is irrelevant. This is not pvp. This is just a classic example of computing resources being overwhelmed.

Hello, the new event „war without, war within“ is a good start in the Right direction but it is not implemented well. The german translation makes no sense and it is grammatical incorrect. And as you say in the Headline the Event is only for lvl 31-32 players in resana. I only find lvl 33 ships or higher and get attacked from them. Neither the headline is wrong and every level can attack every level or you put two different events in one system!?! And that makes me frustrating , cause I can’t play the event because I only get attacked from a higher level

The War Without War Within is just plain atrocious. Just cancel it an give everyone thee rewards. Whyon earth are 29-34 all in the same system? it's ridiculous enough to expect leve 33 to have to go against 34s with epic ships they can touch. Now make that even worse expecting 29-32s to have to deal with it as well? The scoring mechanics are ridiculous since you get points for killing literally anything so it's just a game of who can feed their friend the most kills of tiny ships.

If you want to make an interesting PvP event, make the scoring be modified by the power difference. You get full points for an even match, and almost no points for killing something way below the power level of your ship. You get bonus if you manage to kill a stronger ship.

Or really, just quit trying to make PvP events work, they always just end up seeing who can exploit things more.

On our server we have a handful of level 50s that think they are God's. It would be nice if you arranged the ship level bracket from 40 -50 to 40-44 and 45-50. This will give most all players more of an enjoyable time while giving the biggest player an even pvp. Thank you for your time

Why on earth (or other planets) do you have to be lvl 28 to get the Stella BP's on the Event Store? Every other ship you have the be one level below the build level for it and that one you have to be one higher? Doesn't make any sense.

@rustic summit I had a problem with this. Bought the 19.99 option. The 'elite' portion did not unlock. Contacted support, explained the situation. Sent them the GPA#. After they looked into it, scopely accepted the problem. They activated the elite portion. I can only suggest you keep plugging away. My situation was resolved in a couple of days.

The rewards from faction hunt are priceless. I don't think they have dropped the event because people complained about it. I think people complained that the events generally were becoming stale. I can see that point of view. But faction hunt was fab in terms of rewards.

Scopley, the latest BP battles are only for whales. You have made it virtually impossible for mid-level players to complete. I’m 29, and couldn’t finish Discovery Part IV due to the last two days of separatists events for BP’s. While I understand it is your business model to make money, driving away non-whales does not make for good business model. During COVID not as many are willing to spend as much money. Despite that some will. I’ve spent about a grand on the game. Not anymore till the dynamic changes.

I'd love to see something like 1 UC Gas/Ore/Crystal on 10 min chests, so at least it is worth it to open those chests... Heck people would literally start spending more time on screen just to claim those 10 min chests ( and increasing the probability of doing something ingame, leading them to check the store or buy packs)

It isn't game breaking either, since if we assume a person may spend 8 hours at the most, that is like 48UC, so assuming it is a 33% chance to get gas, ore or crystal, it is hardly 16UC each on a day when a player spends almost half of their day when they are awake

The Christmas “All in the Family” events were case studies in bad event design. Plain Faction Hunt with added SLBs or event currency added to existing SMS format would have hit the spot.

Having a multi-day time suck SLB with poor rewards for a family holiday weekend was a real kick in the teeth.

Scopely it seems everyone missed holiday store sarco bp was limited to 5x but each you could pull 2 chests(6bp) 5 times. For max 30 bp added to events and battle pass made sarco unlock able.

This resource cannot be refined by the level bracket the event is using and thus was completely useless. Giving that advantage made it so those who were on smaller alliances couldn't score a proportionate amount of points. There NEEDS to be a points bracket system that helps the little guy; something that doesn't give advantage to the players who aren't on massive alliances.

EASTER EVENT IDEA: Ok, hear me out. How about for Easter, instead of an easter egg hunt, we have an easter base hunt. Scopely sets up a special station that is full of resources, maybe even special resources that relocates automatically every hour. Have it be pretty inconspicuous, everything but the player name and let it change the level player shown. Let everyone spend all weekend trying to track down this base and try to raid it and or fight each other to get to raid it. 1 hour to find a base in the whole galaxy is not a lot of time to find it and to get a whole lot of goodies out if you do find it, so the payouts have got to be good. Load it up with 1B dilithium or something! Who’s with me???

This was the first time since as long as I can remember that I did not get Military Supremacy. And my ships have not changed - for the past year, my biggest ship has been a tier 7 Centurion. I did go to Ops 34 a couple of months ago, and I am building an Enterprise (not completed yet).

@vagrant topaz , the problem isn't a lack of level 40 hostiles. It's that most of the level 40 hostiles are various degrees of veterans which makes them tougher to kill. You're probably going to need 20-25 runs to get 500 kills.

Personally, I don't generally hunt the various non faction high end ships because they don't really help my overall goals, but when Military Supremacy pops up, I'll farm them due to less competition from other players.

Yeah I’ve tried hitting the veterans. The power isn’t really the problem, I think I can kill enough to be happy with each run, if there were more of them. Having to kill 10+ other ships for 1 40 to spawn is too much.

All systems should be like the swarm systems. Each system only have 1 lvl of enemy.

This has also been a massive pain for missions too. Missions will bring you to a lvl 15 system and ask you to kill lvl 16’s. Ship has more than enough power to kill them, it’s the hours spent trying to get them to spawn that makes it so frustrating

@vagrant topaz, I scan systems before I head to them. If there are level 40 targets AND the system isn't camped, I'll head to it. If I don't see targets, I look for another system. Unfortunately, since I'm currently working on locking Feds, Wolf 359 and systems North of it are off the menu for now. Since my hostile killer is my Bortas, B'moth and Alatum tend to be my first stop when looking for level 40 targets, although there are a few promising Rom systems with Non Faction hostiles to try. Ursva is my fallback because I can kill a decent number of level 40 explorers.

You could add the option to destroy any of the the Independent fractions like Augment , Rogue and even possibly include Borg for all the types of hostiles to destroy as all these types of offers require indi credits.

I’m 100% free to play and I’ve completed every one of those, I save up officer xp to only do during domination. But last domination I filled up domination with a defense turret happened to be building.

I use officer xp for ranked events. I was able to complete last dom event with platform D, as I had just lvled up then, and had about a week worth of speedups stashed. I got word dom was coming so I stopped speeding. I use most of my speedups for events that give lat, since I don't get it from packs like most people.

I avoid the SLB lottery events. At one point I was having problems with Domination because I had solo factioned and didn't have credits to promote officers even though I had the officer xp available. Now I'm closing on triple lock. Officer based SMS events are far easier to finish. I also look for daily events where you get Latinum and recruit tokens.

I was really happy to see Call To Arms again until seeing that the solo event wasn't broken up by levels. This makes it super unfair to the lower lvl players. Not only do we receive less rewards if we were to place higher than players at higher levels, you must also work so much harder to compete and get there because of the way smaller cargo holds we have. It's like you wanted this even to be a failure and sabotaged it from the start.

I haven't done a serious raid in over a year and even at level 34 I'm in excellent shape with resources. The key is shield management. It's been months since I've been drained. Do your missions, events, dailies and you'll find that raiding bases isn't necessary.

I DO hit miners on 0 nodes and I have helped alliance members crack a base, but I prefer PvE.

IF raiding netted uncommon/rare materials along with RSS I'd be more likely to have a desire to raid. It doesn't matter how much RSS you have if you don't have the other materials needed for research/construction/upgrades. I still need 300 uncomon 3* crystal to take my shipyard to 34.

These two things can be done, they can be fun, they can be used to unite bonds between players..and, they can be done as a recruiting method. Dvor protected is multiplying with officer protected instead of addition., mining rate is dvor ability x new research modifier instead of addition.
Probes is x% instead of addition.
And franklin component efficiency is 20% flat rate plus 2% per lvl instead of 20, 30, 40, 50, 60.
So it's actually doing 20, 22, 24, 26.29%

maybe instead of giving battle pass points to everyone, give points who haven't earned it. if people haven't done the battle pass, then give them points. if they already did it for today then don't give them any. it's annoying because then they will have more than the ones who can't play because SCOPLEY doesn't do better.

Is this another case of the missions needing to be done in a specific order but it's a secret and you don't know you've done it wrong until you can't complete something? The first one posted says it's a side mission and the second one posted is the core mission. The core mission costs 10 mission keys (the first mission key reward gives that much) and the second one costs 20. Last time we had one of these, they were posted in the same order but you had to complete the mission posted second first and if you did them the other-way-round you couldn't complete the st00pid thing. Don't want to assume and then get rogered! Anybody got the low-down?

On that last event, part of one was if you tiered up a hijacked ship you received extra points. I tiered up my hijacked D3 from level 6 to 7 and received nothing extra.

If you do all 20 days of bp points events you can compete overfill

I've purchased the elite battle pass a few times, so it not big issue for me, but for people who haven't and have bought it expecting to be able to unlock, probably one the most useful primes at a lower level than normal, before they can max and scrap level 26 factions ship, its a sore point.

Thank you scopely. I have to say that the break between the arcs was a lot better than what we have had in the past. I enjoyed seeing the return of events that people have enjoyed in the past such as COW, faction hunt and apex rogues among them. This was a big step up from a week of Domination that we have seen in the past. I appreciate your continued efforts to improve the game.

Has scopely considered rather than player level dependent PvP systems, having ship dependent systems. If you want to fight with your d3/mayflower/legionary/kumari etc go to blys, for bortas, centurion, Saladin go to pandosia, etc. leave player level limits to the normal reach of the game. Kind of like the early on low level ships PvP, but gives players options on difficulty level and doesn’t leave players with no competition because everyone their level finished.

I also like that the hostile pve option was added

So... For Rescue the Crew, my best ship is less than 900k and I have to kill 1.7m ships... I get 2.5 ships per 6 hour repair, which is .5 million points per run, and I need 18 million to finish it... Exactly how is this appropriate for my level?

I can only speak for Ops 34, but for me Rescue the Crew was incredibly EASY. Took my Bortas with Pike, Moreau and Chen to Kavka and farmed explorers. 2 runs max and you're done.
