I feel there is a sweet spot for the challenge goals and if you are G6, you are well out of it. I'm 63 and at the top end of the scale for power for my level. My research is good. My tech is good. I can't get close to finishing the goals that require me to kill level 63 V'ger ships or tank that much apex barrier damage.

This is infuriating. I bought the damn ship, but now with two hours left I figured that was plenty of time to complete the dailies, but this Apex barrier one is giving me one point per ship, and 100 ships is going to take forever considering that I only get a few per hull and the travel time to get out there is just over 4 min each trip. So day two and I’m already unable to complete this challenge track. Frustrating to say the least.

To whoever made the decision to change outpost sourcing: You have no idea what you are doing. What you just did was took a FC and FC slot that were already out of reasonable reach for anyone but the super-spenders and made them a complete write-off. There was already almost nothing in the outpost chain worth pursuing except the officers, and now you went ahead and put a big old "you'll never get this" stamp on those few other items. Good job destroying player sentiment.

Am I correct in understanding that there will only be 3x outpost starts available a month unless we buy a battlepass or spend / refine loots on more starts instead of other options?

So what this is now saying is that Alliance Tournaments are no longer a catchup mechanic with a few options for some extra goodies, but instead are required to sustain full participation in a loop?

You'll get 4 from the refinery, 1 free from the battle pass, and whatever you get from AT, if I read their blog post correctly. Unless you spend, or waste plunder on them, there will no longer be elite directives available

I don’t understand the directives sourcing at all. In fact, the current state of directives on hand for anything is buried among a zillion other things in the junk drawer called Items > Other

Please put all directives in their own tab or subdivision so wet can go look at what we can or can’t do. It certainly is something I to to check a helluva lot more often than speedups

I like the idea of surfacing current content for players below OPs 50. If the whole point is to us to catch up, why do we have events you can only do if you already have all the ships you know we haven’t built? The Gorn event was the same, now this Revenant event.

At 27 it is impossible to do resonance mission break up the formation without a lot of help and more powerful alliances don't have many who will start those borg armadas as they have their own difficulties. We need a way to get more of those directives. It's above my level yo get them yet I heed them for event.

The players will find no outposts available when they need to run one during the events. It was already the case during the arc with no lv51 and lv53 outputs being available and upper level we're to strong to be taken. THE PLAYERS EXPERIENCE IS GONNA BE TERRIBLE. @ everyone else don't rush your ops levels, don't be tempted by Scopely trying to push you to level up you won't be able to compete, just take your time I thought I did I spent ages at lvl 60 making sure my G5 epics were strong enough and to catch up on my research and I can't do the new event track.

Please explain to me how Excelsior can be free-to-play. Without buying the ship, you have two impossible daily tasks that even those who have purchased the ship can't complete. Yet they have a third daily task, an easy one. What's going wrong here? Please explain why players are forced to make purchases. This arc is a disgrace.

From what I've read, there are going to be substantial changes to outposts. However, I haven't seen anywhere that they've said the change will also affect the time it takes for ships to arrive and attack the outpost. That means we still have to have two ships locked in for hours, which is what all the players have been complaining about. As always, Scopely is listening to the same people.

For the veger invasions slb and similar ones in the future maybe shrink the ops brackets to cordinate with the ships that players have access to. Like 53-55 (g5 ucs) 56-59 (g5 rares) 60-62 (g5 epics). This way it is an actual competition not just the g5 epics running away as they have better warp ranges so can hit bigger hostiles. This as you are only takeing top 3 combined over three weeks.

The vger hostile spawn lag is real, compounded by the hostiles in the system never loading i guess, and game restarts don’t necessarily fix it (3rd time was the charm for me) but it’s just a joke really. This has been one of the worst launches in a long time, and we had bad ones! Of course the com silence regarding complaints is also deafening.

Problem. Not enough vger hostiles to kill giving the impression of horrible spawn rates.

Actual issue. Too many excelsior hidden hostiles are spawning in their place adding to the system total hostile cap. This same experience can be had hunting hirogen in any space near the kalak system.

Player solution. Use an excelsior to kill hidden hostiles meaning regular ones can spawn again. If you got one.

Scopely solution. Fix the spawn so that equal numbers of both sets of hostiles can appear instead of moving more towards one type when another is removed.

I'm at Ops 36, which means I should be working to unlock the Talios for Resonance. I don't have a fully tiered Vi'dar. I hate the Resonance monthly events because they are solely tailored to people who have Talios unlocked. Even people who have it unlocked are struggling with the event scoring being botched. Resonance was supposed to have rewards tailored to our individual progression with the ships in the event, not assume we already have them unlocked.

I have never felt like I was playing this game wrong before this point. This whole event seems setup so that if you didn't follow an unpublished pathway to level up and develop, you are at a disadvantage or locked out of participating entirely. I thought the point of mid-ops events was to help people progress to the new content. I'm getting nothing out of it because I can't do the Borg armadas yet. I can't earn directives and don't have a ship capable of participating.

The fix is easy. Make it so mid-ops rewards a token that we can either exchange for bps or upgrade materials for already unlocked ships featured in your bracket and the lower ones as well. Getting a boost on my Vi'dar would serve me better than being strung along trying to unlock a Talios and being locked out of events.

If it makes you feel better, people who have a Talios and invested in powering it up before the event are also punished for being too far along in progression. Like mine is maxed for my level so I couldn’t do the heroic upgrade event.

So Scopely created a very fine line of people who get the full benefit of the event.

I am stronger than many who have not spent a fortune and I Can't Kill the Level 62 Gorn. It gave me credit day before yesterday for killing level 60 Gorn. Yesterday and today I have recieved ZERO POINTS why make an event that most people can't do? I had to scrap some ships to get my Rotaran to Tier 12/12 Level 60/60. Many of us can't kill the level 62's. Why make it IMPOSSIBLE for Most Players to Complete?

I am level 60/60 at 2.8 B power. This other level 62 is only 2.3B power. This Event is IMPOSSIBLE FOR MOST PLAYERS to Complete. Nobody here can kill the level 62 Gorn at 43B power.

That mission link takes you for fourth time to a level 55 system named Becca [55]. I killed higher than those and as you can see I got Zero points for the Daily Mission "Hurack Assault"

Again, the challenge requires you to hit your ops level, which is 62, you're hitting 60. Use the crew I suggested and hit a 62.

I HIT the 62 with the suggested crew. My Rot is stronger than most level 62 players. As I said almost Nobody Level 62 can kill 43B power enemy. Why is this Mission so dificult MOST leve 62 players can't kill them.

Two partial and one fail when I tried to finish it off before someone else killed it. Only players ABOVE 3B power can kill these and only with special crew. There must be research to get us over 3B power. So that means MOST PLAYERS can't finish this Event.

Yes, it's possible, you just have to kill enemies of your own level. If you get frustrated, and only attack enemies of the previous level, thinking you can't handle enemies of your own level, you won't. Here are some screenshots showing that with the right crew, it can be done. Cheer up, I guarantee you can do it

I used Exactly that Crew and I am stronger than most of the players in the level 62 system at 2.8B power. Only one player over 3B power could kill them. Since my Rot is 60/60 than it must be research that has got his power over 3B. This Event is To Hard for Most Players.

This was my lowest ship that could destroy lvl62 hostiles. Your server must be pretty weak if you can't kill it with G5 epic, while I can with G4 rare. And I'm f2p...

There've been bug reports of the ship-specific scoring part. Probably not the issue, but I'd avoid using the popup toasts to determine scoring delta, better to use the event page.

By walling off new content to Ops50 and below, you set FTP players further behind the paid players.

1. No access to launch loot relevant to the arc. This means when it comes to a point where the content becomes available to the FTP tier, they start from a hole
2. Missing opportunity to learn about the new feature. Even if they can't participate, they will come back to it in a vacuum. Events serve as a tutorial for new features that is unavailable now to the lower tiers.
3. arc events for under 50 are wildly outdated. Arcs built around content from 5 years ago are not useful to the FTP cohort.

I'll say I've never been more disappointed in Scopely, never closer to quitting this game that has clearly jumped the shark. and I'm a day one player on this game.

I have Exactly the same crew. There are others weaker than my maxed Rot. It has to be Research and or Syndicate level. You all are 200M stronger than my 60/60 Rot. It has to be research. Not everybody can finish this. I've tried all the suggested crews above and below decks.

It is like the Outpost missions. We are leveling up faster than we can do research and Syndicate level. Scopely wants us to level up fast. But then gives missions that we have to go way lower than our level. I couldn't even finish a 53 Outpost. It is time to give up on this game. Everything costs big money or you can't do the mission.

To be fair, my Rot went down in a big fireball also, but my Enty can kill 10 level 61's. It probably has something to do with the Rotaran, probably the paper thin shields. Though I have seen other players post that theirs did okay.

Also, make sure you are not using any of the 5 officers listed in the ship description or the battle will go 100 rounds and you will only get a partial victory. Do NOT use SNW Pelia, SNW Pike, SNW Sam Kirk, SNW James Kirk or SNW T'Pring. Any one of those officers on your ship and the enemy will have a "massive amount of Apex Barrier."

Scopely, please stop punishing your players for playing the way they want, it doesn’t encourage spending it just encourages quitting.
Examples:

• Investing specialty resources in ships/station punishes us for doing that on our own. See the heroic event to invest in the Talios earlier this week that if you were already maxed for your level then you couldn’t get rewards.
• The above conversation where if you don’t happen to have a convenient research/favor/building to invest in you have to do a bunch of them within the day to get credit in a month long event (I think I need to do ~14 researchs each with a multi day timer to speed through since I have already done to ones that would make it easy).
• Most of the spend events have such high requirements you’d have to max multiple ships and jump ops to get the rewards. Even the daily spend events.
• That’s not even including the fact that you have events that don’t count things they say they do. Like the Talios not counting for armadas earlier this week, spending “regular directives” not counting Cardassian armada starts despite using the same directives as FKR, could have just made it say FKR armadas but you chose to say regular directives instead of specifying the type of armada.
  All that is just at the mid-30s, it looks like it’s even worse at higher levels.

On the other hand, knowing I can just ignore events now because they’ll be bugged or impossible or whatever makes it easier to play less so thanks for that at least.

Cube is a ship in this game that is always lagging behind and is actually good at nothing or halve of nothing; except irritate you terribly, that is the main function of this ship. You must first get your fraction ships

It's great on OPS 70, but then you come back to the beginning, it's always just nothing on halve ship. So no I wouldn’t not use the Cube. It’s good looking show horse

I’m a hoarder so these things are easier sometimes but there are ways. And a cloak for a small ship doesn’t take much and it will finish the event. ☺️

Purples were always designed to require more pts than f2p could manage right now. When you unlock the ship, you get an additional task, and full completion of those dailies will get you up to the 2nd purple milestone. If you do everything + the paid bounty, you can finish the legendary milestone.
F2p daily income is 275 total, 175 from the hard task and 100 from the easy.

As somone in the "mid-Ops" I hate the idea of moving up to Ops 51 and getting the new ship content. I like the last few events where you gave us a chance to catch up on old loops. This is a first. There is no special pack in the store to mirror this. Mathematically, you don't need it, but I have never seen this event without a special syndicate pack. I am also ops 21, syndicate 47...there might be a hidden wall I have reached if others have the pack available to them.

This is all lvl all 56 docks x7. About 1.323 years of building. Plus all upgrades on a t11 cube (2.7m points ). Now I have once again been unable to unlock all CotA officers so far. But generally this design doesn’t feel good. It doesn’t feel like progress matters since it requires just so much to get anything. thank goodness there is an SLB tied to it or it really would be a no go. New officers are traditionally where we all ops up and spend mats since I have been playing. I do normally stop at first tier but I just really don’t want to anymore, since I constantly feel like the mats are just so devalued compared to the milestones. For me as an example L56, that’s 49k rare to MS1. As an example each dock gave me about 583k points ( and I have an extra dock ). So that’s like 15 docks to milestone one. It’s a bit crazy. This doesn’t feel like progress is rewarded or matters.

There are currently so many Outpost-SMS-events running, but the sourcing is soooo reduced now ! you really need to change something by either a) increase the daily claim to 200, b) reduce the required directives for a normal outpost to 300 instead of 600 or c) at least give some directives as a daily gift during such events ! otherwise it is IMPOSSIBLE as a non-spending player to do the "normal SMS", at least without an active battlepass that may reward some additional directives ! anyone who agrees with the current unfitting ratio of needed directives to available ones received, please give this comment some upvote, maybe it will then be read by someone, who can fix it - thanks !

Vger arc has been really poorly designed. Once again you set hostile level supposedly in line with Ops levels. Yet so many players struggle to achieve the requirements and therefore disengage. Clearly, who designs works on assumptions of where players are, rather than the reality of where they actually are. The game has become so complicated it’s impossible to do everything every day. Therefore players are forced to make choices, e.g. whether they are pve or PvP focused, whether they focus on armadas or hostile grinding ands which aspects of the the game they decide to spend less time on. This results in some officers becoming more valuable to each player than others. Yet Scopely make the assumption that each ops level player is maxed and has all officers appropriate to their level maxed. Time for a reality check Scopely they don’t so why keep designing events on the assumption they have? You have been doing this since Xindi and Silent hostiles were introduced with the same disastrous results and backlash from players. Yet you continue to try and force us to use peripheral officers for current events. It has to stop or the game is dead

Good points, and I agree 💯. For one of the crews, it helps to have MU Uhura, yet the only place you can get her sourced is the Terran faction, and only if you do well enough in arenas, which I don't. There's an MU section in the event store, but no MU Uhura. That will be one officer I'll never get, as I hate arenas.

But, to your point, Scopely has made some really bad choices for at least 6 months.

With these Vger, it all depends which one it is. Two I do well at, and another I struggle with. Like you said, not everyone has all the crews or has them all maxed. Sourcing really stinks for officers. And that's just one of the many issues with this game.

Then, they stop giving out free Outpost directives, and you have to now buy 6 with your currency just to run one, or spend the other currency for an elite one. I'll never get the one officer, as I'm running out of credit and won't be able to run an outpost ever again at this point, as I refuse to spend money just to run something that used to be free, and they had a battlepass.

Terrible, terrible decisions. I'm only still playing because of my alliance, otherwise I'm done after several years of watching the gene turn into a FT job.

Outpost defender SLB. It's a "rang" event, so places are limited. Tell me why make a rang event where 5 players end with 16330 points and 9 players end with 16340 points. I happen to be the last in that row. Place 47, reset in 2 hours so probably no rewards for me. How did those 9 players get 10 points more? Just lucky? Did they do something I don't know about? Shouldn't ex aequo's count as one place to make it fair? Or wouldn't it be better not to make a rang event that produces several ex aequo results?

Not that this isn't a problem, there always is.... But when I get the screen like you posted often if you restart and give it time to fully load, like 2 minutes and then go to alliance, all the stuff will be back. If that doesn't work, do the clear localization and try again and it might work...

its funny they acknowledge the lag and say they deployed a fix. I still had exterme lag even after they claimed to fix the issue. then the events stopped scoring and I still haven't got a fix for it. One guy from Scopelys CS team said he adjusted my event for it but shortchanged me 20k points. When I filed a complaint over it, I knew I was going to have a wait to get a response, but it has been near 6 and a half hours and no response. Scopely's customer service is horrendous to put it mildly. To be fair though they said people would be getting a comp chest for the inconvenience of the lag. Oh, wait yeah, I never got it.

Scopely is just milking its player base for every nickel and dime they can before they go under.

Please fix the VGer Hostiles that are incorrectly paired with the daily events. I have the Gorn Surgical task of dealing isolytic damage to VGer Gorn Hostiles in Ilya; however, there are zero VGer Gorn Hostiles in that system, only VGer Hurak Honorguard ships. Ironically, they count for the “Kill 10 VGer Gorn Hostiles at your level,” Gorn Assault event but not the Isolytic damage in Gorn Surgical. The VGer Gorn do appear in the neighboring system, Paetbria, but that’s not the system indicated in my daily events. Screenshots attached.

Just on my favourite the tournament. I chose to do the task of the sentries, looking at the points for my level 62, being 21 and above, and below points etc.. i then go to attend to the task only to realise texas class space only goes to 60. <@&509690795536941056>, I've been seeing people complaining about the lack of mining nodes in the veil since shortly after the G7 release. As a new 71, for under a week, I can without a doubt say the mining in the veil makes me regret moving up to G7. It is simply awful to take all the 71+ players, from multiple servers, and force them all to try to get their ridiculous dailys done in literally 6 systems within warp range. There are so many systems in the veil with no nodes whatsoever. I cant imagine it'd be difficult for more nodes to be added to the plethora of node-less systems in the veil. Given the sheer amount of players complaining about this, it should be a top priority for the dev team... especially if they "hear" us as they claim.

On the rewards track for reaching certain lvls of Emerald Chain, it states "_______ refit in alliance tourney store" it doesn't say or give any reference to having to be a certain rank in order to be able to access it. Our alliance had just unlocked the voyager refit, and it was available in the store as the rewards track said, so this alliance tourney we were excited be able to get the Monaveen refit after hitting the final lvl of emerald chain. And instead we're just kinda ticked off and wondering why the rewards track isn't giving us what it said it should. Hoping you all can take a look and revise how these rewards become available.

Add more Levels to the Alliance Tournament. For those alliances that are maxed, what do they really have to strive for? Shouldn't have even had to bring it up, it should automatically have been rolled out.

Throw us more useless skins and stuff like the Defiant cloak. Since no one is going to buy them anyways, at least do something.

Also that comp chest is laughable at best. When you can't even be bothered to give more than 3 officer shards, why bother at all?

When are we getting the events or at least the Fatu Kray to get some more of these credits so I can spend the excess I've been sitting on for a year? Scopely also says they're expanding sourcing so people can progress without waiting? As said before 1 of each type per week then other sourcing only kicks in when the outpost BP ( now week 4 of arc) and AT store (generally end of month) I don't see where the 'progress without waiting' is... New Silent with the Apex still require way too many kills. Swapping different crew and it's still about a hundred. I'm level 63 and don't want to spend an hour for a daily a few times a week for no reason. 190 million apex barrier is dumb because several times I kill them with not much. It's dumb and needs to go away or be adjusted down. 10 is enough, they don't bring anything else worth doing
