Please could we also get all the event resets aligned? It’s already been 2 weeks since clocks changed in the US. I know it’s been like this during US daylight savings for the last couple of years but this is unacceptable. It’s almost 8/12 months of the year and they always used to be realigned a week after clocks changed in the spring. I’ve complained about this the last two years and it’s been completely ignored. This isn’t a minor irritation when it’s the majority of the year.

No one can save up mats, rss, or directives that fast, much less making a new level for it now that we will most definitely have to spend real money to achieve. At the very least put in some of the older Borg related frames, there are quite a few in the frame section that many of us never got a chance to get. I’d love to have a reason to be active in this event again, especially since it continues to come around every month. Frames may seem like a dumb motivator but we all know that avatars and frames actually are a great incentive for many players. New content would be much appreciated, adding some older frames that are now impossible to source otherwise shouldn't be especially difficult, right?

Going to put this bluntly. The new Limited Edition Run of the Alliance Tournaments really rubs me the wrong way:

1. Tasks have not been fixed or corrected for the Resource and Ops required to do them compare to their point outputs and rewards. You have 750 point Texas Hostile tasks. You have 5000 point kill hostile tasks with zero Credit rewards. You have 8k tasks rewarding less than 4k tasks.

2. Technical issues are still rampant. To the point that I have already needed to reload my client 3 times in the first hour and I haven't even taken my first task. This is insane and embarrassing that the core mechanism for the system, the task board, is so broken.

3. This is so close on the heels of an Alliance Tournament having just finished that there are alliance members that still have cooldowns ticking in the alliance store.

I don't know if I should be embarassed or insulted that a Limited Edition run of the AT was pushed out so soon in an unfinished state as a blatant grab instead of as a celebration for actually fixing the AT system.

There is still no benefit of personal score in Alliance Tournament. Same situation again: some people will work hard, and some will do nothing and still get all the rewards..

Players doing nothing will get no reward. Alliance tasks/events like AT all require participation in order to claim the rewards.

The highest individual performers would be doing 10k level tasks and earn a lot of AT credits on top of the alliance reward. In other words: Hard work is very well compensated.

There are only a handful of 10k tasks you can do, but this needs prep time, which we didn't have.

I already have 3 of them unlocked and even if I completed the full sms, I wouldn't unlock the 2 officers I don't have. So it's 5 days of no participation from me.

I didn't notice until pointed out but I did lose the leftover credits from the last AT.

This is out line with the behavior of prior ATs, out of line with the statement made before that AT Credits would no longer expire, and not warned about at all.

Resetting AT Credits to zero against all prior history and transactions is completely unacceptable.

Edit: Redid the math and checked to alliance resources. I calculated the amount of credits I should have incorrectly, used the incorrect task reward when adding carryover.

I have a player who ran solo until he joined us at level 39 in the middle of the last tournament and has never completed a task.
He has the exact same Emerald Chain level and points as the rest of us.
I have tried to encourage participation, but I am not aware of any players in my alliance who have different Emerald Chain XP.

Honestly, we can keep whining and complaining about the state of this game and the direction but there's really only two ways that this gets 'fixed'.

• Whales grow a back bone and speak with their wallets... or more so... don't speak with their wallets.
• Player Counts drastically drop.
  • This option won't do it alone.

It would be great if Scopely started putting out ACTUAL good content (MORE ARCHIVES), fixes bugs (Alliance Tournament tasks being broken beyond repair, Cubes being a nightmare to exist in the same system), etc... but as long as whales are shelling out hundreds of thousands, MILLIONS of dollars.... they're going to keep putting out trash and not fixing anything. If whales grew a spine and withheld for two months. You'd start seeing Scopely scramble and pivoting away from the predatory, manipulative push that they have embraced since around July 13, 2023. Call your whales. Mock them for spending on trash content.

Let's see who the 'player council' is. Share with us their average ops levels. Let's see if it's JUST whales that Scopely is 'listening' to. Because the very idea of them existing is suspect at best.

A series of mat spend events is not exactly a "Grandmaster Edition" for the Alliance tourney. I appreciate the store updates, but the tasks didn't get any improvements and it comes shortly after another tourney. I'm disappointed. Nothing about this requires alliance coordination as Bek challenged us to have in the video

The coordination seems to be in how you spend the tokens from the 2nd milestone and high in the spend events. There's an event store to get more alliance credits and points, possibly boosting your placement.

Grandmaster tasks = spend 85m points worth of materials over 5 days but the events don't stack so you can't stack the points? Is this just Scopely trying to force people to go up multiple ops levels for an AT task?

So let's do some math. I was able to score 26k points for the tournament in one day, completely f2p. But I can get 100 tokens if I can complete the mat spend sms. I can then spend those tokens to get more alliance points, anywhere from 50 to 200 per token. So even if I got completely lucky, I could get an additional 20k points. Which sounds nice but unlikely. I'm more likely to only get 10k points or less and that is only if I complete the sms (hint I wont be doing it at all). So it's not worth it from that aspect

But wait, I could also get some more currency to spend in the tournament store, anywhere from 22 to 88 per token or at most 8800 credits but more likely to be 4400 or less. Which is good as that is each day. But still, for the amount of effort it takes to complete the sms, it still doesn't seem worth the effort.

While Scopely expect us to spend but you really think people can stand with quality like this? Every tournament we have to restart the app 20-30 times if not 50+ times in order to see new ones. I believe the game updates the tasks every minute, but if you don't have the tournament tab open when it happens, it doesn't work and you have to wait for the next one.

Revenant loop (paid ship) - issues since launch including polygon’s above 60 failing to fire consecutively at near 100% failure rate.

Alliance Tournaments - event plagued with issues since launch including as previously stated, inaccurate task descriptions, a reward store that doesn’t refresh without exiting, tasks that don’t refresh in a reasonable time frame, or without restarting the game client, and that do not sufficiently randomize.

The latest Grand Master Alliance Tournaments built on top of the aforementioned issues plaguing Alliance Tournaments.

I’d like to express the same sentiment. This feels like “grandmaster” is simply geared towards the higher spenders, which is disappointing to those of us who are lower spending (or heaven forbid, F2P lol).

So much of this game has become about how much you spend, not actual game strategy or the like. It’s pretty sad. Looks like Grandmaster events will be relegated to the other pile of stuff I don’t do because I can’t compete without spending extra $$.

With that said, I do appreciate the Valor particles in the AT store. Hopefully the limit can be removed next time the way they did with the Ferengi Whip! Looking forward to getting new additions in the future.

If you open the Augment redeem from the Botany Bay tab's "claim" button you get them.

If you click the "Claim All" button at the very first page of the IA you do not get them. You get Augment Officer Shards, turned to 0, with no conversion to transporter patterns.

Same thing was happening if you used the Claim All button to redeem the Fleet Commander Building daily chest for the longest time and is now happening in the IA since it's launch.

Edit: Try using the claim all button on the IA and drop me a screenshot of it. If you aren't experiencing this problem I'll buy you a beer.

You aren't claiming any other IA redeems at the same time which is what it causing the bug. If you are redeeming the claim within the Botany Bay, that is only taking Botany Bay rewards from the IA, it works.

If you claim all to, for example, obtain Vidar and Botany Bay IA rewards in one click, no transporter patterns and only officer shards "x0"

Edit: As you can see in your other screen. The issue is, I thought it was just a display error until checking the total number of transporter patterns in inventory before and after a Claim All redeem and having the number not move.

My feedback is that I like the additions to the Alliance Tournament, the new items in the store are nice, especially the new prime access. It would be nice to get some new tasks available to complete, and if we are doing this new 5 day heroic for shards, an SMS to go along with it for those of us who dont have big mat spends to participate a bit would be great.

I find myself getting burnt out by the tournament event. Constantly spending time rerolling tasks, killing the app, relaunching, then do it all over again because it’s the same 10k tasks over and over again.

Whatever weighting system you are using does not incentivize participation. It actively discourages it.

Couple that to the short warning this is coming that we complained about last time, shows you don’t listen to feedback when given.

In 2 runs of this event series I have never seen the Borg or dominion solo directive 10k tasks and only once for the defeat 8 rare solos.

So it’s do some terrible grind task that we get punished the higher ops we go because there sometimes are not hostile levels 3 levels higher, or just not do anything.

The promise of a chance of maybe getting some new rewards based on my small ability to move my entire alliance’s score is not a fun mechanic when the path to contribute is also not fun.

it is way past time to end a lot of the events that is going on now or make them LVL based as "the return of the mega cube" is old news to a lot of ppl more so when you hit 50+ ops as you get very little from it. the alliance tournament needs a total redo as there is a lot for lower LVL ppl but when you get higher a lot of those tasks take for ever at 1 point per as it seems a lot of the big point stuff is a "pay to play" option.

It would be really great if you guys could look at ALL older events and functionality and do some little tweaks. Mega cube has so little rewards for me just at lvl 53. Also like many old events, LBs are 50-70. They never got updated with g6 launch. I think it’s past time your team updated old content if your cycling it through or its everyday live in game. This is not worth the effort to not get creds to spend. Only some of the 5k has creds attached. A lot of the tasks are lower level and the ones with creds are taken up. Each level task should give good creds to help everyone be able to get the stuff in tournament event store. Sorry, I’m frustrated about it. My ship auto grinded TX hostiles for 6 hrs to complete the task, because it is level locked. That’s not worth it for little or no creds. We try to pull our weight for alliance.

finished this “grandmaster” tournament. for all the grandstanding blog posts and videos on it it was just a regular tournament with extra spend events attached and so comically early after the last one some items were still on cool-down. got a perfect base score and didn’t spend a cent but i’m g6 so admittedly on easy mode, less easy this time. this felt like a blatant cash grab, and if you really wanted us to spend the special one time only additions should have been better - whip and unlimited kishara? kishara has diminishing returns really because so maybe new hostiles move so fast + it just plain stops working if you click on any other screen. if you wanted people more engaged i’d suggest one time offers of more valuable primes etc. otherwise i rate this a meh/10

Alliance tournaments—great idea. Here are two essential changes would fix most of the complaints: (1) no more than once a month. Ever. (2) no more than 3 days. Wish list for other improvements—give store loot for every task, have grind able tasks at every level of payout so people can super grind for 10k if they have the time, have all tasks refresh at the same rate, with perhaps two extremely rare tasks that run no more than 3 times in the entire length of the tournament that are like a wild card—you find one and it pays out max rewards and self completes. Makes refreshing and looking at the jerky task loading screen exciting.

Okay okay I have comment on the alliance tournaments I like them, but they fail to offer tasks doable for alliances for 20 -40 range like a lot of the tasks require larger ships, more warp and it doesn't show competitiveness. It shows the diversity of your alliance. So please on the next one give a few more easier tasks for those in their 20's and 30's. Like I can't mine g5 can't handle xindi like this is a tournament that is fun but not when you can't do a thing. Throw us a bone. Then if you lump other alliances with similar makeups as far as membership would help too. My alliance isn't going to compete well against one with a lot of 50's and 60's members. This shows less of your alliance competiveness and more of where your members are. Make it fun and manageable tasks 20 armadas is not manageable.

Alliance tournament can be really fun, but something really needs to be done about the task, that is and remains extremely difficult for higher OPS level players. You can give all the mats you want but if we don't have rare ship parts for our rare and epic g4 ships we can't spend any of those mats. I'm personally sitting at 50 until my epics are maxed knowing full well the brackets i bump into at 51 will force me to compete with up to ops 60 players. Only one more tier to go on all three but rare parts are the hold up. Have nothing to spend my abundant amount of g4 mats on as research is level locked and buildings are all 50. Those rewards to bump to 51 would have to be extremely good for me to bump early at my detriment

If you actually seriously want people to move up, you need to resolve the ship parts shortage. Nobody's struggling for materials, you should know this, you have access to the numbers. 1. G4 epics are trash, this is widely agreed upon fact. G4 rares are more than enough to carry you to 53. All daily goals are easy to complete with G4 rare, it doesn't need to be max, G4 epic has no effective use.
2. All 3? Are you mental? I didn't build a single G4 epic until I was G6 lol, building 3 and then complaining you're struggling for mats is the equivalent of punching yourself in the face and blaming someone else. I didn't spend when I was G4 btw so this isn't a "whales" opinion, it's very easy to skip G4 epic if you're F2P, plenty of people in my alliance did it too. This was also back in a time where materials were much less abundant, much easier to come by materials these days even without this announcement
3. Your poor game progression choices are not the fault of Scopely. I'm the first to point out when they're being awful, but this is one of the best things I've seen them do in a long time. Completely agree that G4 ship parts are a nightmare to come by, but thankfully G4 ships become obsolete very quickly in G5, as reaching 53 ops is relatively painless.

You're complaining they're not giving you specifically what you want, they've never done anything this "generous" before, they usually expect you to pay through the nose for progression. This bonus refinery and the gently tip from Scop to jump from G4 to G5 is a ...... The amount of material looks great, but it is not the right stuff. The next ships are the Nova with ops/shipyard 52 and the warships with 53.
If someone have not the right amount of faction credits, he/she shouldn't go into g5. With an g4 miner someone can reach the first g5 mining systems - but they are still flooded since month from 50+ players. And it's a nightmare to get a free mine.
An epic 50 warship could help for some to achive new content, if someone doesn't grow up easily from 49 to 53. But the huge amount of faction credits for the blueprints is really a joke. That's why a lot of player skip these ships.
So the bottleneck in my opinion is not the amount of g4 material. It's the amount of g5 and faction credits to jump from 49 to 53 within one hour.
Every player should decide it by itself to grow up. That's why the g4 bonus refinery is a bit a joke. Everyone should take it as a nice gadget but play his/her own speed. An ops 50 with an player power of around 70 Mio - there is a lot to do in research and ships instead of growing up.

Well, 45 mins of effort netted me one arena battle where we lost terribly. For that I got 400 arena emblems that earned me a whopping 54 Terran Reputation. It should since this seemed to be a rush (filler event) and was also heavily dependent on alliance members to complete their events so that all alliance members can pull the chests from the Alliance Rewards box. Some players didn't end up finishing their events right up until the events reset. Thus canceling out any chances for players to collect and redeem in the Event Store. Kind of lame. And even if we had an extra day to redeem, there needs to be a standard 2-3 day window afterwards to redeem the Event Store currency.

What is the point of putting solo waves lvl 50 for Ops 50 when they don't pass the 2nd wave with a Pilum T10? I do the same. As a matter of fact I entered g5 Sunday, built a t6 corvus on day 1 and shredded other teams of g5 players that have been at that level longer. Oh and I was beating solo waves day 1. I know what I'm doing. It was a lil over 3 months at ops 50 which was easy to get everything for cheap due to arena wins and max rank. Which has a huge benefit on my ops progression. Rolling into g5 with over 3 months worth of weekend tickets over 300 rev tokens and 3 free treasuries. 1% advantage?I think I'll be alright.

Yes, Revenant was a worthwhile purchase as I saw the future promise of easy materials in the g5 future. +got a lucky Q cannon pull day 2!! Im normally a basic pass player myself with maybe 100 3 times a year on top of that. New ship? No way! This one falls real short from peer reviews. Heck I didn't even get the whip till it was f2p in the event store. A few lucky pulls later combined with f2p AT, and I have all 3 pvp tech. Terran favors from Arena wins has given me some very high effeciencies for this progression. I see future progress through g5 using my 2uc 1rare 3epic ship method. I went out on a limb and bought the ship also,. It does nothing at t1. It might weaken a ship a little in a wave before you attack it but that's it. I mean I know it's supposed to give parts but, I'm unimpressed. I can get through 1 with the gs 31 doing nothing in the 50 solo elite waves but the 60s? No way in heck. But, it's always like this. I went 61 last weekend with one t8 enty D. I can do everything there. Be prepared that right now you won't get epic gas/ore in Battlepass or events, which is a big bummer... I'm currently ops 63 and I have a Max ent d and a almost Max upgraded t13 cube and a tier 9 Sanctus and I can barely get through around 4 of the G5 solo waves. The funny thing is though that gets me more than the regular G5 solos for the new section 31 credits. And I have all of the apex shread. 4/5

Yeah one of our teammates who is a high level 70 also bought the ship and paid to get to tier 10. He also maxed the research. Even at that tier it does not survive round five, nor does his 150 bill other ships. GS31 is a one hit wonder that is even bad at that one job. For me it’s the easiest ship to hard pass ever in the game. Complete flop.

Hate to ping again but do we have any info on the G4 Elite Solo Wave Balance issue?

This is an issue for most if not all G4 players, even the whales at ours OP’s range and have to hear about a G4 player completing all 3 waves, and only a couple who have made it to Wave 3.

The GS-21 doesn’t perform in the Elite Solo waves at the G4 range for the majority of those players, making the related SMS’s (Omega, Simga) with the related event store currency Impossible to complete.
The secondary but possibly more important issue is we can’t get the required materials to refine for the GS-21 ship parts due to this issue, slowing down progress further for the ship billed as the SS-Rev of ship parts.

Still going in circles with Support about the first set of Elite Wave missions and compensation and we have the second set of missions starting today.

So I just went to Ops 60 on Saturday, yay. I have now been screwed into having to do the G6 elite waves despite not being a G6 player yet. I've got a T8 Ent-D and a T6 GS31 and I'm only able to clear Wave 2 of the Elite Solos. I'm a little salty about losing out on at least 148.8k in event store loot from event rewards that are literally impossible for me, a g5 player, to complete as they are designed for G6.

I guess what I'm asking is.... Can you share the thought process behind that?

Regarding the G4 Elite Solo Wave issue I was vocal about previously, wanted to take a minute to follow up on the state of the rebalance.

First thank you for helping bring it up to Scopley:
I know others did as well but appreciate the fact it was raised and more importantly something was done inside a week.
The previous WD pattern was objectively way beyond what was reasonable, and although a few defended the difficulty level, something that even the top 0.1% of the G4 players couldn’t overcome and it was supposed to be the “Intro” to the Elite Solo Waves felt demoralizing.

Second the revised G4 Elite Solo waves are a challenge…
But not impossible, making it something that can be overcome, which I feel was the original intent.
Wave 2 no longer had a set of reavers, but now had a set of lvl 51 hostiles that were a challenge.
Wave 3 had the expected spawn pattern with the final 3 ships being Reavers, and unlike the previous attempts not only could the GS-21 successfully damage the reavers it could kill them with sufficient research.

Third What makes this incarnation of the G4 Elite Solo waves even better..
(In my opinion) Was with a few more attempts, fully buffed and using exos, I was able to kill one and a half Reavers (almost got that second one) in the 3rd wave without the new ship.

This means even without the GS-21, players with enough power, research, crewing, etc. now have a chance to complete the 3 waves successfully.

It’s a challenge, but not impossible, which I feel is what most players are looking for.

So thanks again, and now all that’s left is struggle with customer support about the compensation for the failed SMS’s from the first round 😉

The S31 Mandatory Training SMS is a joke. You force us to do the wave level of your choosing, which means I have to do 60 regulars because 60 elites are ridiculously hard. Id rether do 50 elites because the loot is better than 60 regulars. On top of that, you have to complete 5 regular solos to get one tier of rewards, and those rewards aren't worth that squeeze.

As ops 60 being pushed to g6/60 solos, there is no full clear for 2nd arc in a row. And adding an elite levels this arc seems like a really bad joke.

These events are beyond heroic for me - and they aren't even marked as that. I can't imagine what was expected from ops 60 players when the solo events were designed, but it seems absolutely wrong.

To me it seems like Scopely just designs the Arcs around a ship they want to sell, design events for it and then just throw some recycled events for the rest of people (including me 😉), who don't buy the Arc content.

Revenant Arcs, Relativity Arcs, GS-31 Arcs, same pattern. Throw in unbeatable content in month 1, sell a ship in month 2, forget about it next month.

I guess it works for Scopely, as the game seems profitable, but I would like to be more involved, even if I don't buy the ship in month 2.

I have a t10 ent D and a t8 rottarran at ops 61. Regulars, I can finish a 50 with no damage, do like 3 levels of a 60 or a 50 elite, and 60 elites are instant death. Like they added Tiebreakers (kill x amount of hostiles, do y amount of that etc) to SLbs before. The Krenim Formada SLBs come to mind as a recent feature because people were complaining.

Can anyone explain why G4 Common parts are worth ZERO points, while G3 Commons are worth 10? If G4 Uncommons are worth 50, shouldn't Commons be at least 15? Split the difference and say 30. Two upgrades to Cerritos being worth NOTHING and upgrading a Centurion and Hijacked Mayflower to score points, as an Ops 40, makes about as much sense as a lead balloon.

I submitted a help ticket and the response was its a "visual" issue. WHY? Just fix it. If the event and rewards are based on percentages, then make it so. if you just don't log in for a few months, the game will eventually archive you, so your base will disappear & you'll vanish from most leaderboards, but if you log back in it'll re-appear. I believe the time for archving to happen is longer than you can be shielded for, so you'll probably lose most of your par/dil/trit that's not tokens

Just know that if you delete your account, it’s gone forever. If you decide to come back, you will have to restart from ops 1.

Once it’s deleted, it’s gone. Also, there is not much turnaround time for a deletion anymore, so stopping it once you have set it in motion is difficult.

Just be very sure that you want a deletion before asking for it.

Its very normal to struggle massively when you go up a bracket. Early g3 was tough, early g4 was tough, early g5 was tough and early g6 is tough.. I imagine g7 will be the same if/when that gets here. 🤣

I'm fairly certain they know we are going to struggle. It's what makes us want to buy the new ship to make it easier(and then buy packs as its not use until it's substantially upgraded) and make us buy packs to get to the uc ships(which are ok.. but still struggle), or the rare ships(decent and can complete sms with ease) or big push to the epics(pretty much dominate the tier). It's how they make their money afterall 🤑

Section 31 Threat Elimination SLB: Not sure why mine has a bonus for using the GS-31, I don't think anyone in my slb can (my bracket stops at ops 39). Also, ops 38 and 39 have access to faction space that anyone below that cannot (might affect someone's ability to score, because it's by hostile strength).

I am triple locked, many of the other players aren't, so they earn points from autogrinding in faction space, which I can't do anymore (I'm now limited to augment). It seems like a lot of the events end up being easier for people who do not try to progress, not sure if that's the intent (to push the people who aren't progressing to do more).

Those are stronger than in the locked faction space, unless I just don't understand (which is very possible). Some players just put out ships to autogrind solely for the event (no benefit to them), but I assumed that was not Scopely's intent.

It gets better once you get the monaveen up you can auto grind in texas space. But.. you're 100% better off with the early faction lock than being able to auto grind a niche event that gives some syndicate xp.

I like the format of the Easter egg hunt and the other one where for each one an alliance member collects, it rewards the alliance. It gives a benefit to and encourages being in an active and large alliance. Much like alliance tournaments (which should be reduced to 3 days at the most!)

It would be nice if the 50-54 and 55-60 ship classes were split up for events based on warp range alone. It would also be nice if you optimized the rankings to reflect the capabilities of new ships.
