We’ve explained this a hundred times: don’t have events that send the entire server population to one system to do the same thing. Not only can the servers not handle the load of so many players in one place at the same time, but the system gets completely locked out and unenterable. And if that’s not the case then griefers just camp the system all day preventing anyone from doing the event.

You guys being stingy with event store currency, and item availability isn't making me want to engage with the game or spend any money on it.
I'm happy to spend money when I'm getting things for it, it's like a casino - money flows when you feel like you're winning.

This event store feels like I'm standing in a bread line during the great depression, waiting for my next ration ticket to drop.

The ticket events have terrible rewards, the daily events are boring and offer very little reward. We're over 1/3 of the way into the arc and this is the most disappointing event store of the past year.

Yup, scopy acting like the pixels that cost them nothing to reproduce are made of platinum and we should be grateful for our rationed piece. Anyone with half a semester in any type of business course would know that happy customers spend more. Hell, I have bought the monthly pack every month since their gaff. (Only bought it once or twice before then, at lower ops, the value sucked) not anymore, they have gotten greedier (if possible) and more miserly and squandered any good will they got from that beautiful mistake/stroke of customer service genius. I have noticed the lowering of rewards, I am sure others have too since the gaff. You punish me with diminishing returns, and more grind. And charge me more for stuff, just to get less? Seriously, it is like they have no clue. (But they do, and what they do IS intentional. And it’s predatory)

Take the money and run is one of their mottos. They do t care about sustainability or actual enjoyment by players. They rely on the frustration factor and the dopamine kick from buying a pack to solve a problem quickly with money people don’t actually touch and handle to spend.
If people had to sit and feed $100 a time into something they’d spend an order of magnitude less on games like this. It’s how gamblers get in trouble too, once real money is out of their hands, markers/chips are just a thing, that either builds up or gets smaller in front of them. When those chips are replaced with actual money, people risk less and stop earlier.

Good thing ypu get a "fix" on the gift section armada mistake. But another unfair issue rose from the way urs was 'fixed". People could turn over the armada tokens from the coins back witch was goos. For the second month in a row that I can recall, there's a crit Armadas armadas SLB and I would like to re-iterate that I don't like there being SLB's for group activities. Armadas should be a social event, but inviting other players into your armada can let them take damage away from you and even end up beating you because of Armadas you hosted yourself, encouraging selfish play for one of the few cooperative aspects of the game. I like Armada milestones, and I'm all for Solo Armada SLB's, but I would like to request that the group armada SLB's be replaced with something else.

My personal feelings, I see the abundance of slb’s as punishment from scopy. They screwed up when they gave us all a months worth of daily tokens back in nov, and since then they have been getting tighter and tighter on the loot. They act like their product is a finite resource and dole it out accordingly instead of the free to reproduce thing it is. This is foolish for long term health of the game as it shuts down any desire to engage as most cannot compete with the wallet warriors. Scopy knows this, they have psychologist on staff (I am sure) that have informed them how best to get as much money as possible as quick as possible. Game won’t be here come Christmas. Exchange your free stuff, and stop giving them money. Enjoy the ride till Christmas. You are party to the games end run. Been a fun few years. TL:DR, scopy is fully aware of what they are doing, and every punitive arc is intended. (I have been down this road before sic Gazillion 🙄)

I see auction SLBs as a release valve and the more of them there are, the better.

They are self-balancing so that increasing their number causes the prices to play in them to decrease. Imagine how cheap they'd be if they ran daily, and how flush with their rewards we'd all be.

They also increase the content consumption rates of whales so that they move out of your brackets faster as they deplete stuff to do and develop. While a 2nd pilum can make some sense, they're not going to feel the same about a 3rd, and the draw to move on up to G5 will become stronger and stronger.

Nothing about this game is based in fairness. Doubly so when it comes to events and pvp.

If they ran with corresponding sms, I might agree with you. But just slb’s? They are nothing more than a money grab, there is no “release valve” of which you speak. In 4 years time all I have seen is the scores climb higher and higher not down. (And I SIT at certain levels for quite awhile watching baby whales spend past me to see how it works) They are punitive and drive away players. Mid level spenders have no chance (worse when an xlb shows up🙄). and there is NO amount of f2p “saving up” that can make it worth it, let alone win one.

Ever-increasing scores is a sign of too few SLBs for our mat income. If they flood our income with mats, the prices will also increase as we have to spend it somewhere. If they went the other way and put picriker/worf SLBs into the game every 6h, then you can be sure that the scores would drop like a rock.

Considering I just had to drop 200k points on an officer recruit that pops up at least twice a week? Not buying what you’re selling dude. Slb’s are morale killers and a wedge driven into the heart of game play. Especially when they are the major source of rewards. You recreate the world of haves and have nots. That is not fun for anyone. This is a game, not real life. But then, that’s what is intended. I understand that. They should put a gambling tag on the game in the app stores then. Because THAT is what it is, not a game, a gamble.

It's simple economics. Income is the same so by increasing the number of SLBs, the scores in them would drop. Perhaps it'd be easier to ask some questions:

How much did you spend on the last SLB you won?
How much would you spend on the same SLB if it ran every hour?

Biggest thing is people just want a consistent model. We keep getting fed multiple models of how things will run month to month and the ones people prefer are showing up less and less.
Ship sourcing, no one liked the defiant model, no one. What is the Cerritos-a? Defiant model. You get no bps free. The one good ship release people have talked about in months is the talios because people got it halfway through the month, free.

Not even getting into the event scoring and payout models that are all over the place.

Just settle on the player friendly model, and garner even a modicum of goodwill.

I never “win” an slb, so I don’t even try. (Anymore, I should I don’t try anymore, because I have Don Quixoti a couple in my day, with expected results 🙄) To do so on my server I either have to be extremely lucky, or wait (and then pay through the nose to catch the snipe hunting whales with bigger pockets) for hell to freeze over. Again, they need to just put a gambling tag on the game. Since they have pulled corresponding sms’s from the events they have made it very clear their intentions. Pay to play, or gtfo. Slb’s are for spenders only. Full stop, end of discussion. No amount of “economic bs” is going to change that. The game is for spenders. Acknowledging that doesn’t make you a bad person man. It makes you human.

They don’t, spenders gonna spend, making it ever harder on the freemium or free to play player to get even into a top ten position anymore, and having to put more and more space between attempts, meaning less content engaged with overall because of a, quite frankly, stupid engagement model. If everyone had to go into a mat spend slb with no money, yes you would see top end scoring drop and there being a better spread, this game doesn’t allow for that, and pretending otherwise is just ignoring the issue.

The assessment that they're "for spenders only" is a result of too few SLBs again. The questions posed aren't really directed toward a single person, but to all the people playing the game, f2p and whales alike. A whale that sees an auction every hour will not spend mats like he would for an auction every month. The end result is the same: reduced spending for auctions that happen frequently.

Suggesting that income does not remain stable is a stronger way to engage the argument, but it also runs into the problem that needs and resources are finite. Buying all the officers and all the ships will deplete the content in the game. Without these needs, there is no spend and again prices drop.

Every month they churn out new broken content without fixing old broken content, and the largest part of the patch notes being mission texts or graphics for missions no one has a month later results in about 3-4 people in each alliance dropping the game on established servers, monthly. People in ops 50+ are leaving, regularly, because of the inconsistent play, poor event payouts and structuring, and the complete lack of quality control, that’s the state of the game people have around them. Our servers largest slb count for the cerritos-a was 17 people. 17.

Run an slb every week, it doesn’t change the top scores. The heavy spenders in each bracket will still spend to secure those top spots. This is the part you are closing your eyes and plugging your ears to.

If you don’t give a decent sms alongside it, all it does is discourage the casual and non spenders from even bothering.

No, I understand what's going on. They are already running an SLB every week, and it's insufficient to remove enough mats from our inventories so our stockpiles become bigger and bigger. Officer sourcing is again taking steps backwards with at least one officer from every set with little to no sourcing besides occasional packs, special ship sourcing is still really inconsistent, rewards vs rss or time investments is still on lagging behind player growth, and stability is still an ongoing issue. Take from it what you will.

The goal of Legacy was to revisit things and ease up on requirements and improving them for the future. This'll be their attempt at that, and after it's done you can see if they are making any additional progress beyond what they've done in the past.

If you're adding a weekly slb/alb, can I recommend converting these 3 systems to additional 40/45 armada spawn locations. • Still very possible for more than one person to initiate an Armada
• Sometimes the flag and Armada circle do not show properly meaning players are unable to join an Armada once it has been started
• On some occasions Armada targets are only visible to some people
• The lag is horrendous

As far as events go, Apex is one of the worst for bugs and lag so only having to go through it once a month was a god-send. If we have to endure it on a weekly basis now it would be nice if they would actually get it working properly

What a horrible attempt at updating an event. From 3-days to one, but keeping the same amount of expected activity to complete events. It's more grind with less time to do it, not efficient at all.

I barely even bother with this game anymore, and crap like this is why.
This "efficiency" theme is a failed marketing strategy; the Titan-A was a flop; this Apex update is missing the mark; and to cap it all off the lag and game stability is in the drain...why should we keep playing? The whole game experience is like a C grade, at best.

Sorry Scopely, I really don't get it. Apex was "fine" during the Arc breaks - now you condensed it into a weekly occurance that manifests as an armada fiesta.

You were trying to lower screentime and daily tasks, yet you introduce a weekly SLB that negates all of your efforts. A weekly installation should -NOT- have a SLB attached. It should have an easy to complete SMS that gives you the new currency, so you can work towards the store items.

The new Apex event is neat.. not hard to complete, and the refit sourcing is a nice change.. but adding that event without fixing the armada/system lag is kindof a two-sided coin. Ok sure, people have to fight over armadas (scarcity leads to pvp leads to packs), but there are so many ships in the Exchange systems that I can barely operate due to lag. So, cool event but it relies on occupying systems that become extremely difficult to do anything in because of the lag.

Probably beating my head against a brick wall if it hasn't been fixed by this point, but can something please be done about the brackets in the Heavy Hitter events? There should be a bracket break at each combat ship level upgrade. 45s shouldn't be in the same bracket as 46s. 41s shouldn't be in the same bracket as 42s. Each time you reach an ops level where you can get a new combat ship you should be in the bottom of that bracket, not the top of one with people who don't have access to those ships.

Soloing a lvl51 epic FKR armada gives something like half a trillion points (obviously can vary a bit).

Can’t compete in this event at all it’s so laggy. Aramadas are showing up as though nobody’s attacking them but you get a warning when you try to start one. Every aramada I’ve tried to start in the past hour has failed

If you use the broken parts to get a desealing rod, it's use it or lose it. Broken rods themselves are not use it or lose it. Double check in the recruit store to see if you can unlock your desealing rod there. Should take 4k.

Point is at 1 point per a mission key it is impossible to sore to get anything.. from the free drop that you get in recruitment it’s once every 5 days and web store is once a day that means in total you’ll get 6-7 mission keys which means 6-7 points. Not enough to even score one the first teir that says you need 24 points. Dumbest event ever 30000x worse then the Tribble’s event ever was.

As @white bramble pointed out above you...you are referring to the alliance milestone event. The solo milestone is 7 points to finish, and if you time everything right, you can get 9 points in 7 days.

During event stores, it’s become common to add late additions (like officer or armada packs, etc). Since they launch randomly, and sometimes go lives aren’t always a consistent hour, I’d love a section in the event store for ‘limited time offers’. Just a folder, the same way there’s one for officers and one for ship bps, etc. With a dedicated placement for new arrivals, expiring offers, I could check and confirm if there’s anything new, or be certain that I’m not going to miss anything. "Fedaration/Klingon/Romulan" is too long to fit on the line so it is dropped down to the next line. Basic rule of writing. Don't leave widows and orphans, put it on the next line if it doesn't fit. 🤦‍♂️

Besides the lag and bad armada refresh rates or wasted systems that have been mentioned ad naseum in this and other feedback places, the event suffers too from simultaneous starts without warning. Except now, they stack one team with a 7:30 timer versus a 7:00 timer. I sent three tickets pretty much the minute they happened for time stamping in chat and showcased the two timers. Support said I got credited for wins with my delayed start, which I can attest very much didn’t happen. I suppose now I have to actually video record my screen now for when the other team blows up? Or when an armada disappears and continues to count down for nothing to happen.

The picard memory chips have 36 officer displays; each time you open the chest you will get one of those displayed officer rewards. There are 12 officers, each in 3 quantity options, but you only get one officer in one quantity per chest (along with the chance of some ship blueprints). For example, my reward was just 3 worf shards and nothing else.

Realta PvP starting on a Monday is frustrating because on Mondays I tend to have relocated to a higher warp system and have miners in token space, which prevents me from being somewhere where my Realta can actually fly in. The batlleship combat training event it's not working properly. The only counts if attack the hostile. If the hostile attacks me it doesn't, even with the same ship in the same system. Nowhere in event description say that. And it didn't use to work that way. 🤬🤬

Auto grinding generally doesnt work in any SMS event like these. It is expected that we arent scoring while AFK. It has been this way for quite a while. If it worked for you before, that was the bug most likely 🙂

Our server lags at armadas, there are some double starts, sometimes you can't even see if an armada is already running, missions are no longer updated, ships don't fly off, I'm playing on the PC with a cable, it's not on the network, other players from the alliance have the same problems finally under control it's no longer fun pictures from the shops are displayed empty oh and the event only started 25 minutes later the intern probably forgot that Thursdays are now always Apex events or what's going on with you?

I wouldn't bother with the FC feature, the alliance starbase, or with incursions should they ever come back - they were all poorly thought-out money grabs. This game has become a prime example of what is wrong with mobile gaming today.

I am a high-end dolphin myself. I've played for years and am extremely disappointed with how the game has turned out. It started off great, but past level 40, it's become perversely costly and almost unplayable due to bugs and poor performance. Unless you're willing and capable of spending irrational amounts of money, put up with all the defects, and give up your friends to join others like yourself, it's nearly impossible to progress. I can't understand why or how F2P players can continue to play. It's a shame that progress or enjoyment has become so unattainable for most players.

Clearly this game was designed to extract as much money as possible from its players with little regard for their enjoyment or satisfaction. The gameplay is imbalanced and unfair, and the developers seem to have no intention of fixing these issues.

I'm disappointed in the developers for creating such an unfair and unbalanced game. Unless significant changes are made, it's inevitable that most players will leave - and rightfully so. I'm considering whether to save my money for a game that values its players and provides a fair and more enjoyable experience. The hardest part for me is losing the social atmosphere that used to be part of the game. People have grown tired of it. The way it's structured requires associating with players you don't particularly enjoy being aligned with, and the fun social atmosphere has been lost. I don't know if they can fix it, or if they even care. With the recent sale of Scopely to the Saudis, I wouldn't be surprised to see the game gone by the end of the year.

Having just launched my G5 UC, which otherwise would've happened 90 days ago, but I hit the brakes hard on spending, as have most on my server, even the level 59s & 60s who have the lowest scores I've ever seen from them in the spend events this Arc, I'm literally one more thing away from quitting. I have been for a while. What that thing will be remains to be seen.

The fact that a level 57 with a G5 Rare can one shot my station with my G5 UC home is ludicrous. Due to my research, I'm more powerful than most 54s & some 55s, so I'm not lacking there. My G5 is already T3+, so it's not a baby. He wasn't even using a station hitting crew.

There are so many things wrong with this game, I don't know where to begin or end. They know them all. We've complained about them all. They either don't care, or they don't know how to fix them.

The whole CoW event needs a rework imo. They should move everything to the event store tab, update alb rewards, improve bronze/silver medal bundles, and update/add officers to gold medal recruits. They should also add scoring bonuses for the newer ships on the alb!

Personally, I would remove/increase limits on the cow medal packages and have the alb give like 20k bronze, 10k silver, and 2k gold medals for first, and then reduce it for lower rankings.

With all due respect; something has to be wrong with the "Crucible of War" event on S70. Our whole alliance in game has been doing this event but when it comes to the Alliance MS board we have barely budged, and so we will not be getting any of the alliance rewards... The “intent” is that someone that has all the skins (or is too high level to need what is available), doesn’t need to compete in the SLB and the “opt-in” allows those people to stay out and not take rewards from those that can still utilize them.

Armory gives 19,375 points to power which means 19,375x20=387,500 in points which is more then the 300k points needed for tier 1 of domination. The xslb can be fun so long as the rewards can justify the cost for 1/3 the return. 240 Picard shards for first is great but when 2/3 don't get a full unlock....it is crap.

I think one of the biggest issues with incursion was the execution of it. It never worked the way it read. It should only allow one server to move to the other at a time. Say you do server 23 vs server 24 . Then It should only allow server 23 to invade server 24 for first half.making server 24 defend. Then second half server 24 can invade and server 23 has to defend. Your actual ones you have done allowed both servers to attack the other at the same time which resulted in most cases no one on either server to fight which made it suck for those pvp players . Only a few were actually able to find things to hunt on either server and those were generally people that forgot to move and shield or forgot shields auto drop at a certain lvl fob up for incursion.

Pvp isn’t really my cup of tea. I do a little but perfer not to. Online pvp has always been more of a show of who can spend the most money not so much about actual skill. Since most buy everything then instead of hitting fellow whales they tend to go after the semi and non spenders for easy points. Why do pvp when you know your weak ship is going to get destroyed by a ship that is 3x superior? If pvp looked at not just player lvl but also at strength . If pvp matches were more fair memories would do it. When you have 60 lvl players with 15mil or more ships hitting over 20 lvls below against a ship barely in the millions or less it’s no contest it’s just a massacre. So many don’t do pvp for this unfair matching..

Pvp ok, but only when it’s fair and one has a chance at winning. A lvl 40 can’t compete with a lvl 60’s 100 mill ship when the 40’s best is only 5 mill . That 20 lvl gap is way to big of a gap. You really need to fix your combat chart systems to make pvp more fair instead of this bullying system. Yeah you might get lucky that they only bought up buildings to get the best ships, but if they bought up everything you don’t stand a chance . You’ll have better chance at getting ice in hell . A more fair pvp system will get more to do it. At least realta pvp is more fair .

Pure speculation, but… starting the next arc on the 9th means it will run until the 28th. Normally they end in the roughly 22nd-26th range. So I feel like this is just the Flash Pass that should have run after part 1 of the new Arc, if this arc had run from 5/2 to 5/21 like many would have expected… who knows if that’s the real answer.

So if they follow the pattern we have another 2 week gap at the end of July, just running the numbers based on a 20 day arc followed by a 6 day flash pass likely what we'll see is;
arc part 1 5/9-5/28
flash pass 5/30-6/4
arc part 2 6/6-6/25

arc part 3 7/4-7/23
flash pass 7/25-7/30 and another one 8/1-8/6
arc part 4 8/8-8/27

Assuming this will be a 4 part arc leading up to another 4 part arc in September to end the year similar to DS9 was.

4th of July being a Tuesday this year and coinciding with an Arc Fall could be interesting if something goes wrong. its certainly possible they would run a 2 week gap between June and July to offset the 4th and if they're thinking ahead thats probably what they should do given what they've done this month, July only has 4 Tuesday though whereas August has 5 and the gap week usually falls within the month that has the extra day.

Any hope that the "Incursion" for all servers not happen and finding other alternatives to the "Incursion" event?
Alternate ideas - if this is simply a cleaning house scenario - any ship or station which has not been touched in 30, 60, or 90 days, be identified as an active target - not sure what the reasonable time frame might be, but then it is not a full out invasion of the larger ships having their way with everyone else.
Any ship, but most importantly, ships below lvl 20, should be disconnected from a resource after 24 hours (zero node).
There should be level zones (lvl 1 - 10 can only attack 1-10, 11-15 only able to attack 11-15, 16-20 only able to attach 16-20, 21-25 should only be able to attack 21-25, etc.) this provides a more challenging environment, instead of lvl 30 attacking anything down to lvl 20, there is nothing sporting about that for anyone, other than the unfair sportsmanship of the higher level low lifes who simply love to dominate everyone else.

Thats a lvl 50+ hostiles. How can this be possible at ~ops 41/42?

you have a good point that there's a lot of grind, but faction hunt's grind is exagerated.
small enemies score high points, it can be completed much faster with more ships in a lower level system.
My record is 7.5 minutes per faction.

this doesn't make sense: the rewards for apex exile SLB does not give shards for the skin (at least for me, who already has it). So if the purpose was to only "join" for those who don't have the shards, you are not giving the right feedback to people. All they see is another SLB, which of course, they join, because there is no connection to the skin. It gives tokens and research points which everyone needs. So my suggestion: just make the SLB autojoin like most SLBs

way too many grind events in one night that don’t overlap, or barely overlap. it’ll take hours if you want to do them all…. And again… faster eclipse armada respawns please!!!!!!! Fiscally the right choice as we can use our armada credits and some may even have an excuse to buy epic directives, QoL also the right choice as we can actually participate without staring at a blank system for 30 minutes waiting for something to spawn and be first! A few lvl 40 eclipse systems is a step in the right direction but no where near enough!!

Battleship Hunt, Swarm Hunt, 3 x faction hunt, Eclipse hunt and an additional eclipse hunt. I think there's not enough hostile hunt events today, you can easily give us more. A Borg hunt and a jem Hadar hunt are missing. And maybe a solo arma event to topple everything up.

Just do the first faction hunt or parts of it with an Interceptor hunting battle ships. Then do the rest of faction hunt with your preferred ship. You don‘t need to hunt Swarms, because any hostile will score here.
