A while ago, like 3 or 4 event stores ago, I got all the shards needed but somehow messed up and unlocked a rare projectile instead of the Positronic Phasers. Ans Scopely wont fix it because the "bonus" of the rare projectile is tied to the account already and can't be undone. But for some reason they don't understand that there is no listed bonus for the protectible. It's just a skin. And I was promised that the rare projectile shard would become available later.

Not event feedback, but event store feedback: put SNW Una back in the event store. She was there yesterday, and she is even on the art for the folder, but she is not there today. I didn't unlock her during Inc*rsions and I was hoping she would be in the event store.

There's not enough time to refine the Synthetic Ion needed for even one research (refinery has a three day cooldown) and Pure Venom is the stuff for Prime Research you can only buy. Concepts can't be patented or copyrighted. If it's called something different and does the same thing and isn't a visual copy then it doesn't matter. No doubt many games have used roots, snares, saps for decades that all have a similar function for the player's representation in the world. Ripping off another game is far less an issue than not sticking to trek and locking events behind it.

So, where do I start... This arc implements "a new loop" which is pay only for the time being. This arc also brings plenty of events, rewarding event store currency, that are only available if you chose to pay and buy the new ship "early". This is not good. Players who look to buy the ship after the arc for a reduced price point or grind it out feel left out.

While I'm not opposed to paid content (I purchased several packs myself), the amount of grind that is required with the new ship feels not right. Usually you pay to advance more quicker. That way you pay to have more on your to-do list which in return awards syndicate and officer progression. The game already has too many daily grinds (swarms, factions, borg, eclipse, mining, tc) adding a paid mantis grind on top feels very un-fun.

I appreciate the "buff" of the generators. However, this is not a buff that generators should have received as it is not related towards their core purpose of resource generation! The buffs could have been implemented in syndicate levels by themselves. Also the availability of the buff is just ridiculous. For several players this will be available in mid 2023 at current syndicate progression. Why implement it now? Why not make it available at a reduced level earlier?

Am not entirely sure reintroducing Una but with limited shards is enough for anyone who paid cash for either elite battlepass or actian keys. If the expectation that was paying cash could obtain x number of shards yesterday, then those people should have access to this officer under the same conditions before she was pulled. We all look forward for months for the end of arc store, especially players looking to "catch-up". Last 2 end of arc store I participated in everything, and the overall currency rewarded was around 400k-450k. My hope is that enough currency rewards are given so that it doesn't feel like a giant $100 Mantis paywall has been set for the end of arc. Quite frankly, just keep new ships in between end of arcs so that paywalled event temptation is not present in the future.

@wanton copper Scopley needs to create a player advisory council or something, players from all regions across all level ranges and spend scales and multiple servers to vet this stuff before they release it and give feedback. Talking to the content creators is a start but Rev has said it many times, they don't listen. As unhappy as people are today, it's time they started, this is only day 2 for crying out loud. Yeah great we got an extra jelly brawl, but what about everyone else thats not lvl 39+ and doesn't have a jelly? Stop catering to your spenders and start looking at the smalls and mid level players, they're your future whales, dolphins, tuna and nemos. If this keeps up, there won't be anyone left to play the lower and mid game and all the whales will get bored and quit cause they'll have nothing to do. It's already being talked about in higher level's on the older servers, some of the BIG spenders too, we see it every day as well; players leaving in droves. Time for the people running the show to wake up and stop scrambling to fix things after it launches. I know it's not your fault man but you're just a target to keep them out of the spotlight at this point and that's just complete bs that you have to face this alone, get them in here to man up and own their mistakes! Time for them to earn some trust back, if that's even possible at this point.

Lack of events for level <33 is really really poor. There is nothing of interest at all. Hit some hostiles everyday for a few credits that won’t stretch very far on the event store. If I had a month long shield I’d use it.

The people's problem is not with the ship as most could care less if a grind ship is added to the game. The problem is the complete lack of events we're used to for an end of arc (or heck a regular month) for most players unless you fork over $70-$100. On a normal month, you would see 2x SLBs for each new officer and all that's scheduled is 1x for each. ALBs for end of arc currency are nowhere to be seen. In the future, just keep the end of arc event+currency event design completely separate from new ship events. Give f2p(ish) players events to get the usual amount of end of arc currency they're used to, and the new ship buyers can get theirs as extra. At some point I assume the ball was dropped (or greed) and here we are with everyone upset that this end of arc is trash.

Jelly Brawl as an “apology event” for higher levels is all well and good, but it does nothing for players mid-30s and down who are shut out of most of the arc if they don’t spend $99 on the Mantis. Events need to offer something to include everyone.

The mantis research and the mantis debuff event, both require additional purchases to even be remotely completable. You need 5k venom to gather 10pts when you get only 1k per day, the research event requires you to spend 750 synthetic Ion when the refinery only yields 200 every 3 days. @wanton copper is this intended? If so, I suggest to save the currencies for the next run of these events...

Do not bother with pvp. The mantis owners have a “snag and kill” folks in the pvp systems. And rather than hitting the high warp areas with the ops 46 ships, the high 40’s are coming down and smoking folks in the lower system. The magnitude difference means folks are getting bumpkiss for points. So DO NOT FEED THESE PEOPLE! Do not let scopy encourage douchey behavior. Rise above it.

For these hull damage pvp evets: Add a scoring multipler that rewards the a lower power player for engaging a higher power ship. Its not fun getting smashed by ships 2x stronger for a pvp event and since the brackets are so wide its inevitable. Penalize the bigger ship and reward the smaller one!

A 3 day cooldown on the Mantis Research Points seems a lil harsh when you don't get much synthetic ion and you need a minimum 600 to 1200 per research. How are you supposed to do the SMS without buying a pack. Seems a bit harsh when some of us have already shelled out to get the Mantis early. Let me try this gain. I didn't realize the first time I posted this that I was supposed to remove player's names from screenshots.

I took a different tact when using the Mantis. Rather than debuffing then attacking, I waited for another player to target me and just seconds before the attack, and before he knew what happened, I used the debuff and won the battle. I was mainly doing it to save my shields from dropping, but the tactic worked great. I took out a L32 19M Pillum with my L30 11M Kelvin. Not too shabby.

Ok so I was trying to complete the Debuff Enemy - SMS. I do not have screen shots because of the hot keys on PC preventing me from doing a screen grab on my PC. I debuffed a couple of zero node miners but the attack button disappeared. Even after the debuff ran out still no attack button. I reset the client and the button came back. So I debuffed again and reset the client and I was able to attack while the enemy was debuffed and thus score in the event. With venom as hard to get as it is that’s two ships that I cannot score in the event.

The answer is yes, it has no known use if your research is done. It's a feedback channel, where you leave your thoughts and opinions on events. I'd recommend using one of the TNZ channels if you want questions answered.

The only way to complete this SMS is to have full tachyons to begin with, and take your next daily chest as well. I will only get halfway through it. A normal simple SMS event should never be stuck behind a paywall or currency limitation. Disappearing Act is only achievable for free if we know a few days in advance that its coming.

@wanton copper Disappearing act design - A SMS should be completable without hoarding workarounds. The FIRST time the event came by, each "tier" completed rewarded more tetryons making it doable. Ever since then, you either have to hoard tetryons ahead of time and start the event as soon as changeover occurs or sink faction currency into cloaks you don't want or need. Please add back the tetryon rewards. It has been a pain point of an event since the removal of the tetryon rewards.

The SLB I get, it's a whale thing. But to be locked out of an SMS that rewards currency for the battlepass is rather annoying. They should have a viable alternate scoring method for the SMS for those who have actually finished the research available at their level.

A 2 day disappearing act actually is completable as f2p as I have done it many times (1 day wasn't). But it does require planing/saving as I need to have at least 210 Tetryons on hand and need to claim daily Tetryons after event reset so I can claim 3 times in the 48h. There is also some Tetryons in free BP.
That said it would be a lot better if requirement for last milestone was lowered so one can complete the event even when they can't claim daily Tetryons 3 times.

Absolutely agree 100% with Fade above. I’m a fan of pvp and often get called names in PMs for my pvp. I am definitely a spender, top 25 in power and formerly top 10 in PD (11 now I think… stupid kos wars making others rise above me). So I am that player that spent the money for the mantis and upgrade it.
I too think it was a TERRIBLE idea to prevent poisoned ships from warping out. The ftp players and low spenders can’t compete with that. It takes griefing to a whole new level. February of 2019 I downloaded this game. Many times since then I have become infuriated with players that were raiding my friends (alliance mates) with impunity. As a level 21 to watch a 25 decimate your planet because all you can do is die was frustrating.

The game did, however, offer a solution. Grow your account to counter-act these people. It was difficult, cost hard earned money. I went back to look at my 2019 CC statements and was actually stunned I spent so much that year. Going forward I wanted to make sure that I grew at a decent pace.

In late 2020 during covid outbreak, my base was hit and “one shotted”. The biggest player in our game, hit my base and I was stunned. I was able to exist with everyone because we were on an even playing field. But they got stronger.

So that left you no choice but to get stronger yourself. That is until the Mantis was released.

You don’t need me piling on to tell you that the person who approved this game tool needs to be fired. I am sure you’ll figure that out. But I will tell you that this is what’s going to end up killing your game unless CBS/Viacom wants to keep it going. They’re going to have to. Allowing someone to spend $70-$150 to destroy a ship that cost a player between $15,000 and $25,000 will do nothing at all but drive that player who has the ability to spend that much out of the game.

My server will be losing (at least so they said) 10 players who are in their OPS 50 or above level. I am ops 54. As of today I have made the decision to no longer financially support this game. I’ll get what I can get without spending. This spending pause will include battle pass and the monthly.

The only way to tell a massive corporation that they’ve made a mistake is by showing them what it will cost them. We’ll see if my spending reduction will make a difference. If not? I can always find another game to play.

One thing I don’t understand is why people don’t get more outraged over the crappy rewards during event store arcs. It is always a fraction of the value of a normal month. For me, most events are rewarding 9100 points and 1 rare shard. That’s like 2 epics for a whole event! Not really. That’s a very one-sided approach. There are already crews that counter ST Una, and every screenshot I’ve seen showing “how bad” it is shows the battleship buffed with Cerritos, the explorer debuffed and the explorer with a poor choice of crew to counter ST Una. Scopely launches the TOS arc that brings a crew that favors Explorers. Scopely starts another arc, that brings crew that favors interceptors over everything. I am merely sharing my opinion of what’s going on. We can point fingers at some players who crew a 158m ship badly, or we can say Scopely doesn’t give us multiple choices with the 300 officers that are available, to only have 1 or 2 to choose from to accomplish what you want when you have 6 sometimes 7 ships to crew up. But ok, let’s just blame the player.

The definition of a good deal is frame of mind.

You have a player who spent $25,000 on a virtual ship and regardless of the reason you think it is, he thinks its because Scopely doesn’t value his spend, so he leaves.

10 players have announced they’re leaving, 3 of them have popped their rss tokens and are being raided as we speak. they are gone.

This is not an improvement to the game, this is something else. I call it bad programming. But its not going to change my mind about whether I spend or I don’t until I see some changes in this mechanic, such as using the mantis in a limited capacity or there is a level based chance of failure to deploy the venom.

Some change is needed. This I can tell you.

If you can’t play the game the way you thought you could because of this mechanic change, then obviously some choices are to be made. Swapping out the ticketed event payouts with event currency instead of uncommon materials is completely handcuffing my ability to progress this month. The ticketed events have been my main source of getting uncommon materials, where are the events that will allow me to source uncommon materials? This, coupled with the refinery still being woefully inadequate is really disappointing

My mining ticket event paid out 61 three star uncommon materials last month, each. In order to buy that much from the event store I would need 15,000 loot. My event pays out 9k. And just the uncommon, I’m not counting the steel/trit/or dil that’s included. The steel/ore payout events were paying out 100s of millions of steel at my level. By any comparison this is paying out MUCH MUCH less this month.

I know you're not looking for conversation but I happen to agree with you 100% and I'm glad you provided the feedback. "It's always been that way" or "That's just how it works" is not, and has never been, a valid reason to keep a broken system in place. The main point to me is that the uncommon/rare material bottleneck in this game is egregious and everyone should be lobbying for it to change. Event store months don't have to be an "or" (event store or rss). It can be an "and" (event store and rss). If they want folks to move up to the 40/50s, they need to adjust the economy below those levels at a much more significant rate than they have.

The economy issue is massive. The event store month different is infinitesimally small. Event store months are beautiful things, as has been said they give you access to a whole load of things that you don’t otherwise get access to. Rightly or wrongly Scopely places certain values on the in game goods and as long as we’re talking one in three or four, not every other month, that is an easy choice to lose a bit of G3-G5 to get the various items in the event store. The economy itself needs to be fixed. I’ve not even started the rare ore battle for 46+ and I’m already terrified of it. As an example I’ll lose maybe a few hundred rare ore through it being an event store month. I need most of 20k by all accounts.

Mmmm, my issue is that a few hundred in 20k, the issue is the 20k. The back end of G4 economy is costed like it’s the endgame, but it isn’t the endgame. Early G5 economy is vastly cheaper (and more difficult in other ways). It’s not that I think that you’re wrong, it’s that my view is there’s a value sum done each month and I absolutely believe that we need “event store months” to source a lot of the stuff we otherwise wouldn’t. At the end of the day we all know there is a trade-off, and if mats is still that important to you you can buy mats from the event store…. That they overvalue those mats against event store currency is another argument - but probably what is the “right” (read; balanced) solution there.

The point you seem to be missing is it doesn't have to be a trade-off. I, and I think most others, understand it's a trade-off now. We trade-off resources for event store currency because that's the way Scopely currently does it. The whole point of the feedback from above, which I agree with, is there doesn't need to be one. Just add rss back in on top of the event store currency for those months. It's simple, doesn't break the economy (the degree to which it helps is up for debate) and gives the player a positive feeling (as opposed to the negative that they have now having to make said trade-off). I'm also not arguing that this is all that's needed. G4 economy doesn't matter if G3 is still an issue. If we're up to G5, G3 and G4 should be eased respectively. But, this would be, again, one small step that is easy to do.

It doesn’t break your economy, but it does add more to everyone including those at the top end who are already at the cap of G5. Yes, that’s self inflicted but that’s still another part of this far from one dimensional problem unfortunately. Every time you give people more, you accelerate their development - everyone’s - and thrust them further towards either an economy that they will quit because of or into an aspect of the game that they simply haven’t developed yet. That economy is where the fix needs to be - but again, it needs to be balanced because they will hit the next pain point. Progression through Ops levels is great and all until you (like me) are maybe a month away from 46 with only 80k Romulan credits to your name for a 500k Pilum.

We'll have to agree to disagree here 🙂 You don't maintain an economy bottleneck in the middle of the progression curve just b/c your upper end economy is jacked up as well. Most progression games, SWGOH, MSF, etc ease up the middle as they raise the cap because most players want to get to the upper end of play. How many are quitting in the 20s or 30s because the upper tier is 50s/60s and it's too daunting to get there? They'll never know how messed up G4 is b/c they'll never get there. Now, I don't know the numbers of people quitting by level but neither do you. What we do know is how this works in most other games of this type.

39->40 is ridiculously easy because 90% of the required buildings don't need materials, I thnk ops 40 needed a chunk of ore, but unless you're a mad keen battleship driver, then you have that to spare.
40->41 is a pain because of all the common, but if you're not crazy like me, and actually built up the 26 ships to be scrappable by them, then you have all the commons you need to get through the boring 40 level.

The eclipse hostiles look big but they are just normal surveys, 1 shot per round, a t5 or t6 Kumari with PMC can take them down and its damage dealt that scores so even if you blow up you still score points, I know its not ideal but this is where the stella shines.

Is the game out of touch, or do you just not know how to boost power with researches? The first and last steps on them tend to give the most bang for buck, those are generally the easiest to complete ticketed events because you don't need to spend time fighting for hostile spawns. The 'defence' researches - is that the ones in the station tree that give 5-600 power a go?

If you don't have the available research, there's a chance you camped too long in one ops level and used it all up, but then you'd know not to waste event tickets on it.

Before they glitched the turret power gains this would have been a single build and done, but that was also several months ago, so we've had time to adjust.

If the goal isn't realistic, don't select it, but my goal was 1/4 larger than yours and it's definitely possible. Maybe I should be feeding back that specifically during event stores, the higher spend milestones should warrant better currency payouts the same way that we'd normally have higher rss/material payouts. Research power gained doesn't really improve with ops the same way as other metrics like "ability to hit bigger hostiles" - they still give out 1500-2k per level most of the time.

Not only we are not getting good event rewards and all in just event store tokens, we have empty store on lvls ~44. No refits, only redundant ship bps, very poor payouts of rss from event store that don't compare to regular rewards and just ridiculous price for avatars and frames.

Limits on purchases in the event store need to be reconsidered or removed. When it comes to the Ships I have less issues with how they are set up although the partial unlocks I think are a bit ridiculous. But the officer shards limit is a pain and needs to be removed. If the whole point of an event store, the thing people look forward to, is catching up on things they missed and to help players progress and grow. Almost immediately it was changed by limiting it and nerfing it straight out of the gate, its not helping at all, especially when most of these officers are unavailable through normal direct sourcing or through purchase in the store. I get the reasoning behind Una since shes brand new and you want to keep her for Incursions, fine, but the second you remove her from the Incursions rewards its back to the same issue. The Pike Moreau Chen pack which would be a huge help to lower and even some mid tier players is essentially useless and with how many more officers there are in those recruit packs now its getting harder and harder for lows and mids to source the officers they desperately need in order to continue to progress in this game, I hear it daily in my alliance chat. The PVP officers pack is probably the easiest to source normally but even then drop rates are horrible. No event should require you to do so much with out compensation. But Treasury event requires you to do extreme hostile hunt 24/7 then charges you no less than $100 for crap. Anything that cost 5 dollars should give you 1 teir per ship. Anything 10 dollars should be 2 tiers. 20dollars 3 theirs. Any thing 50 dollars should have enough to take a brand new just built ship to tier 7.

Anything 100 dollars should not only take any ship from 0 to max it should max research and buildings for current ops lv. The total event should be done away with as it is useless. And not worth having in game.

Higher level players (Ops39) received 30x Mantis Refinery pulls for SNW Shards (BP milestone 14), while the proletariat players were provided only with 2x ultra recruit pulls
To add insult to injury, an event towards the end of the last arc awarded Partial Triumph Token chests, with no way to obtain further tokens to open the chests.

So while the players that are already further ahead are handed out dozens of shards, us striving to grow half to pay the equivalent of two D'vor in event tokens to gain a couple Pike shards

As well as people stating the £20 bp has been removed from the store, I’ve also noticed the £44.99 actian keys pack has been removed leaving the £89.99 options only for both of these respective categories. It’s unfortunate that Scopely don’t seem interested in building a positive relationship with their customers who, after all, pay the wages… finally - and I genuinely can’t believe this one - changing an officers ability after people have acquired the officer? That’s a mistake. If I already had Hemmer for his actian abilities and you completely changed it to an anti-surveyor buff, I’d be royally annoyed. You cannot sell something as one thing and change it post purchase, that is really poor. The problem is you have to constantly sit on your max limit in case they add the event without notice, which history has shown to be quite often. So I’ll never use cloaking now because it could pop up. Perhaps this week is safe now we just did it but still… who knows!

Also, not everyone gets 75 tetryons a day, my claim is 65 and it starts out at 55. With 55 per day the path to complete it is ridiculously narrow. Besides which, this problem was pointed out the first time it ran, and they fixed it. By adding tetryons as rewards for the milestones so you could complete the event pretty easily. And the last few times it has run it has regressed back to the almost impossible version.

I'm with you on this. Cloaking events basically require you to have your max tetryon supply always ready to go for such events - which automatically excludes their use in other aspects of the game, particularly PvP. Tetyron cap needs raised asap.

On the off chance that you want to be able to complete it next time, here are the steps (for unannounced events): Steadily work tet chest down to you can always pull slightly after reset > at 175+ tets, pull chest for 230+, and stay in this general range > day of an event, kill hostiles w/ cloak until you’re under the cap > pull chest > kill under cap again > pull chest next day > kill ‘til you can’t cloak or finish event > pull chest before reset on last morning > finish event if you didn’t the day before. _ It sucks to have to do this, but it will work every time, even for low level players. ~400 tets to spend total, and ~16 kills, so more than enough. This is also how Scopely justifies that this can be completed as F2P_

One of our members upgraded a mayflower from t5 to t6 and got 1.7mio points for the hemmer recruiting slb.
I tiered up the mayflower aswell from t5 to t9 and got the real score (about 500k).

We had similar issue last arc when one of our members got out of nowhere several million points while he definitely did not spend tens of thousands G3 mats (he is below 40 so no G4 mat spending). At that time, we were not sure what happened and it did not repeat, and no one mentioned anything similar on discord, so I thought it was one time occurrence.

If they don’t feel bad, I propose that we visit Scopely hq and slap them upside the head with the fish of our choice (because slapping someone with a trout sounds funny to me).

There is no actual reason to keep a player base happy when they make more money monthly than quality AAA games with any sort of seasonal model. Games that by the way have far better quality to cost because they have a reputation to actually uphold and displeased gamers on their end in one year can cause a studio the close, so they actually have a reason to present a fairly priced product with a high quality and reliable experience.
Scopely on the other hand will keep doing just enough to keep people addicted to the sunk cost paradox/fallacy. They may not have any decent programmers or people who actually like games enough to make it more accessible and fun to players, but they sure as heck have some top notch psychologists on board designing the chases.

I think we've figured out the SNW PVE event. It's been mis-implemented. The text says "destroying Explorer hostiles using a Battleship". But what has been implemented is "survive, when a Battleship attacks an Explorer". The assumption is that it's your battleship, and a hostile Explorer. But you also get points when it's a hostile Battleship (chaser) attacking your Explorer.

STFC seems to be the only player base that gets used to hair in their food from Scopely and then tells other patrons that we should be used to it by now whenever we call them out. Again, I finished the AT event myself ok, cant Scopely be bothered to actually put out revised calendars that are useful? Regular AT events are fine and more optional than throwing one out in BP without it being on the calendar to plan for. ANY game mechanic that requires the players to forego daily advancement due to having to "always be ready" for the surprise poorly designed event is on the developer. Stop blaming other players for an easily fixed event setup from the developer. AT events are fine, but scopley should announce them with a few days notice so we dont have to sit there and bank completed work waiting for the surprise day. Same goes for disappearing act. They are fine events, just asking for scopely to give folks a few days notice.

Piggy backing onto this as you mentioned the Disappearing Act. It is in fact not fine. (Disclaimer: I completed it because I banked Tets and timed the 22hr reload). But if you didn’t bank like I did and catch the timing of the gifts because let’s say you work normal hours, then you are SOL. So to stop complaining without offering resolution: cut the points needed to complete Disappearing Act in 1/2. There ya go, an “easy” fix.

Scopely should change the way 22 hr timers work so there is a grace period. So you can go up to 44 hrs before the timer on it resets. Meaning you can claim a chest, timer goes to 22 hrs, then claim it again 40 hrs later and the timer will be at 4 hrs. Hades star did this and it was really nice. It would alleviate the problem where people are at a severe disadvantage that cannot log in at event reset

Only running 1 event per officer was a huge disappointment, last month we had 3 opportunities to unlock the epic officer, this month we had 1 opportunity to unlock 2; one of whom was changed half way through the month. Not only does this make sourcing those officers that much harder but it means those officers become much more heavily weighted towards the pay to play players. Not only does this punish every FTP player out there, it highly stacks the deck in favor of the big spenders and compounds the problems with an already unbalanced PVP system. Too much focus on the ship, not enough focus on core mechanics and day to day quality of life. If you're going to source 2 epic officers in 1 month have the second one be done the way Tendi was or run different events rather than just G3 spend, a domination or grind event that actually has value or at least give you a fighting chance would be much better than constantly depleting resources for no reward.

We complain about the cloaking event every single time, and it doesn't get fixed. Heck, lowering the point total to 450, while still being somewhat annoying, would probably reduce the annoyance for most. They used to reward tetryons with every tier completed for it so it was initially doable. They removed the tetryons, and didn't adjust the point total down to account for us only having 200 (plus whatever hoarding overflow) available to us.

Removing ST Una from the ticket events was a pretty transparent move designed to prevent the FTP/light spenders from getting an unlock without an additional purchase. That feels really slimy, and is a pretty big gut punch to those angling to unlock that card this month.

The funny part is, i was considering buying the $20 BP to barely get that unlock. But without her being in the ticketed events, i'm going to be short with or without it. So i guess thank you scopley, for saving me $20.

SNW part 3 the grade is an F. 1/2 the Mantis and none of the strike team officers for $20. It makes me wonder why I was stupid enough to buy the bp. Payouts for XSLBs were much better when they were first introduced, e.g. rank 1 was a full tier 2 Picard/Bev/Wesley unlock, now it is just a rank 1 unlock and tiers 2 through 3 do not unlock. I have moderated my participation in them accordingly and suggest others do the same.

To say i am extremely dissatisfied with this last part of SNW, is an understatement.

This month gets a solid "D" of a grade from me, the only saving grace for it was the event store, otherwise it would have been a solid "F".

The BS pulled with the ST officers last shards being put behind an auction, after their removal from ticketed events that ran all month, is by far insulting at best after spending $70 for the BP and the other half of the mantis to end up with NO new officers this month.
Then to watch @storm ridge's video and see just how badly anyone who bought the BP while being under ops 33 got totally screwed over concerning the Mantis refinery is beyond infuriating.

Leeway on BP overflow is gone now, thanks to inclusion of desealing rods. (way to sneak that in Scopley, did ya think we wouldnt notice?) this lowered my grading even more. the "do it all, or get nothing" mentality that is slowly permeating the events as of late needs to stop... we were promised less screen time, and I've yet to see any movement toward that... not with the addition of ANOTHER currency, and ANOTHER grind fest. STOP IT right NOW.

There better be none of this trickery BS when/if DS9 ever comes, because I suspect your player count will hemorrhage more so than it already has, both F2P and paid players.

I think the scoring to complete the alliance cruicble of war needs to be altered. It disadvantages smaller alliances. A scoring system similar to the individual event where bigger hostiles score more would be better. Still looking for it to be a challenege but just more possible. Alliance of 9 here

Dear Scopley, thank you for 3/4 of a nice arc. But as in American football you dropped the ball in the 4th quarter. First you removed the Strike team from the ticket events in the last week. Then you also nurf the scoring in the 39 bracket XSLB. Any lvl 39 with a ISS Jelly could outscore any 38 or under. They have way more options in scoring with 4* material. Guess I will be seeing the rest of Strike Team next year.

COW is not ment for smaller alliances. It is intended to show those small ones that they need to grow. And for AND your group can kill lol 1 hostile with their biggest ship and score the same as if hitting a lvl 49 hostile. Your score will depend on how much effort your alliance wants to put into it. I have known same size alliances where one completed it the other did not. Mainly because lots of players just did the sms and daily kills.

I've had Scopely support spend some points for me, but that's usually a leftover amount and not the whole thing. It has been showing for weeks when it would end and they even gave a warning here.
I usually wait till 2 days before the end to see if there is a spend alb, if there isn't just buy what you want.

This I agree with; but you also need to meter that people could then conceivably save event store currency for years and then buy a whole significant ship with it, something that Scopely want to push people to grind or pay for and something the event store isn’t there for. @heady shadow they have only done it for event stores where Scopely dropped a clanger and had the event store end the same day as the end of arc, so people didn’t get any chance to spend loot earned for events ending then.

And to your other comment most rewards are a combination of time effort and rmt so what if someone decides to save all of theirs up over a couple of years for an epic ship? Remember this wouldn’t happen anyways since on those type of rewards there are limits on how much you can buy

This isn’t really the way to get people invested in new content… fair enough due to number of servers or what not some have to sit out, that’s fine. Announcing it less than 24 hours or after it was due to start is poor, very poor.

@wanton copper hostile hunt today says scoring from armada across the galaxy. That implies any armada should score. Eclipse armada are not scoring. Is this a wording issue in the event or a bug in the scoring?

This is the worst Incursion so far. The lack of a designated PVP system means it’s random meet ups. I can’t find ANY opposing server players that are willing to scrum, and smashing already smashed bases for 9K in points to try and reach 90M is ludicrous.

Another voice for bringing back the designated PVP system. I know that came with its own problems last time, but like other players I’m finding it difficult to find anyone to play with. My server pair seems to have a designated party system but the players are far above my level and getting one-shot by a level 50 player with a Pilum makes it difficult to score.

I do like that scoring is galaxy-wide now, but I wish there were special incentive systems that would bring players of similar level together. (Or ship-specific PVP like Stella or Disco.)

Incursion is horrible. Cant get anything done. Attempting to do dailies is frustrating and a waste of time. High level players preying on low level players. Incursion is going to kill this game for me. Level 40 players taking out 31s with no effort and those low level players cant do ANYTHING. What a waste and alienation of the player base.

This event in particular is a waste of time. I get what they are trying to do. Its not being achieved. All it is high level players getting to show off. There is NOTHING for the lower level players, lvl 10 - 24 whats a level 24 going to do against a Sarco or a Mantis? Hurl foul language? (You cant even do that because of the censor bot) The only thing to do for lower lvl players is to throw up a shield and watch the mayhem unfold in GC. This event should be suspended, overhauled and fix the GD servers. I had people in my alliance who couldnt even LOG ON and when they finally got back their shields were down and they had been drained completely. Besides that no one can seem to understand the scoring or mechanics of it. I mean we had an invader destroying reds because he thought you could score that way. Its ridiculous.

But I got to fight players at 46 all the way through to 58 in my upcoming round, I’ll be picking the fights I can win, smashing into stuff I can damage and running from stuff that won’t notice if it hits me or not. If you always focus on the fight you can’t win, you’ll always hate this game. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Incursion was again not fun. Doomsday worms not counting for the event score. The server is throwing all kinds of errors and not letting people play. So basically a normal Saturday.
