I get an average of 37 uncommon per pull ... yes I have prime crystal/ore/gas but still ... 30+ per refine is not nothing. So yes, g4 refinery is mush, but more output is .. more output. even if its 10 drops in a bucket vs 1

yeah, I was just doing 100k crystal per day and refining a couple of singles, or a single and a double each day from that

never goes up in the stocks, but don't really care... only refined it because I had to do it for dailies

battlepass on its own gives about 800-1k of each common on the free track (weighted more to ore and crystal, sadly, not gas), and the events during are much more generous

At max tier it takes an additional 0.1% of your resources. If you've got 1B, that's an extra 1m for each attack. And that's max level. Up to level 5 it'll be 100k extra per attack.
The less you have in your station, the less it will take.

It's so disheartening to organize the alliance into destroying borg armadas which have basically zero payout, some even buying your packs to do more.... Why participate when that happens all the time? Also, check the upgrade costs and pack sizes. I'm willing to spend money but this is ridiculous! My R&D costs 64,000 4* unc gas to upgrade. Ultra base pack has 2930 4* gas for $100. That means to upgrade a single building would cost me $2,178 for just the gas. That's nearly double my REAL house payment! I get you need to bring in funds for the FCA, but you're not getting anything more than a battle pass from me.

I think the best way for me to sum up all the Amalgam content I’ve seen so far is : “The road to hell is paved with good intentions.” I can appreciate that you’re trying to make raiding relevant again and there are some nice goodies to be had from the Amalgam Refinery. But wth, the amount of grinding we have to do to refine?! 2M Plundered Cargo for just one batch?! For real?! And after asking us to pay $100 just for the privilege? I think an easy simple way to make everyone happier about the Amalgam is make it so ALL Fac Traders give you Plundered Cargo. Not these new Traders that respawn almost as slow as Capital system regular Traders. Why limit us to basically farming with the Amalgam with the silly one-use Exo activated? I came here to write some long-winded essay about how terrible the game has become. But you already know how we all feel about it. One thing I do suggest doing, merging servers before they die and you're stuck with a handful of players who are left angry and bitter about your lack of care towards them. We loose players from our server on the daily. It's needed a merge for over a year now and our crystal have fallen on deaf ears. Introduce Gamemasters to kick botters and ban them. This worked in the past and will work also in the future.
To be honest, I never saw a technical solution prevent games from bot using. Scopely should think about it.
I know a number of games playing with technical solutions against botters and all failed.

I guess many good players are willing to offer a little timeframe to work aside gaming as Gamemasters, this is a free resource and helps all players. I was in several Games doing this "Job", not for money, just for have more fun in the game and kick botusers in their A*

Warships will always outpower miners. As you advance, you will get more research and crews that will give you much higher protected cargo limits. Same thing with better miners. If you go over your protected cargo limits, people will come take it. Key is to stay below it through those advancements. As an example, I have one miner that I can put one of my protection crew on and protect 61K of stuff while it mines. And I'm not even maxed in her crew level

You are also mining 3* materials there with the entry level miner. As a level 14 you really don't need to be focusing on that level yet as you can't even refine it till level 20 or so. When you can build Envoys, your protection limits will go up a lot, and your speed of mining on top of that, but bottom line is that there is a protected cargo limit that you need to pay attention to. Stay below it, and no one has a reason to kill you.

I went to do my daily grinding (one ship in tygokor for faction grinding, vidar in borg space for probe grinding, and frank a in swarm space for swarm dailies). It might not even be the first time i've hit the limit. 1500 is really low when grinding events are on or you are trying to do some afk xp grinding.....

First of all. thank you for your continuous dedication to improve STFC!!

I play it for some time (lvl 35) and I want to share some thoughts/suggestions on it.

• this is the only game in which gameplay hours are not related to game progression. In fact, basic game mechanism are slowing it.
  With this I am referring to the refinery - it is frustrating to spend 75K each day and get common materials. If I was a conspirations theory fan, I would imply that you have a detection/reduce algorithm for unc resources..
  Please remove the "chance" factor for the refinery.

• in game X hours chests should scale with player level, getting 10K parsteel or 50 ship xp or 500 dilithium is not funny..

• armadas should have an "engage" button once all seats are taken (the wait period is boring)

• faction reputation should not be capped, if I have RSS and speedups to spend

• the rewards for events do not feel that rewarding; events for store only items should not be started (see Amalgam events, totally disappointed by it...); when I started playing there was a more subtle trend for the "pay to win" but now it seems more and more aggressive. I realize that you need to make money but..

• the dominance events type are actually rewarding a specific player type not a ingame action. Due to the slow game progression, I use everything I get on the spot and I struggle to finish these type of events..if you wish to reward the stacking type of players, perhaps do it with individual chests, at the end of the month..

• event leaderboards should be more careful matched, for example there was a worm event that had stella red skin bps as reward. On that event, while at lvl 33 I was on the same leaderboard with lvl 34 (was using saladin and intrepid while the competition was using enterprise or augur. is this fair?)
• event leaderboards should be different for players that have purchased event packages, best example would be the borg armadas event..If a player decides to purchase any event package and use that package to compete, it would be normal, from my point of view, to compete with other's credit cards and not with a regular player..
• store prices would be justified if you had your servers on the moon and paying for a satellite internet connection. For example, the enterprise value was around 1000 euro (15bps @100 euro) and if I am not mistaken, you changed from 15 bps to 25. This is good however you are not there yet. There are full games, with many hours of gameplay and multiplayer, that top 60 euro. I can bet that you would have a better revenue if prices would drop and have a better package diversity.
• support should be greatly improved, the wait times are horrible and to wait another 24h for any second or third response is ... not good

I hope I have not offended anyone, this is my personal opinion on game aspects.

Please feel free to adapt it to a survey and check relevance within STFC players.

A while back I got a cloak for a D3 from an event. I am Fed so I didn't have a D3. So my only option D3 seemed to be the hijacked D3. I worked to get all the blueprints and finally got the hijacked D3. So as I am understanding, the D3 cloak does not work with the hijacked D3. I would think it should. A D3 is a D3. Very frustrating!

Early in the Combat tree you get a 200% and 100% boost to Armor. I actually dont know whether that doubles/triples the amount of health from a T9 Armor (STFC.Space says 69.228 hull health). But since the Sally doesnt have high armor, the bortas gets a immidiately boost. Later on ops lvl it might be that research is affecting one ship more than the other. Dont have a maxed bortas to compare them. Will ask our alliance member to help me out.

Those are actually linked. An increase to armor means an increase to hull health as well.

Same as an increase to shield (e. g. Ent) means an increase of shield health and shield deflection.

What’s going on with armada started and defeated notifications, I used to get them perfectly. Seems to have stopped on my phone but work on my iPad. I still get 0node notifications on both devices.

I think there is a mix up of the stat “Armor” and the upgradable Armor component of the ship. The Armor Component of the ship usually/always increases Armor (the stat) and Hull Health, the Shield component increases Shield Deflection and the Shield Health, and the Impulse Engines increase Dodge and sometimes/rarely Impulse Speed. The stats themselves are independent, so increasing the Armor stat on a battleship through officers/research will not change the Hull health

Hello, I realise my words wont mean much, but the best time in this game was raiding, raiding with your alliance, or defending a raid, sadly this has gone down a lot over the 2 years I've played, as the time it takes to raid now is too long. Raiding doesn't equal the rewards for events; so raiding is pretty much non-existent on my server eu-169. Raiding was a team effort, now it is something to do when you are bored, but you don't drain them, as it would take days.

The new raiding ship need to take 1% at max level per hit, so any base would be drained in 3 hours at most, any less and their is really no point starting.

Scopely needs to figure out a solution for making money other than "pay to win." Unfortunately, it's creating such a crazy imbalance that whales can roll in and kill everything without a getting a scratch on them. It makes the game too imbalanced and eventually players just start leaving. When the majority of a server is just getting their g3 epics leveled up and you start having players with 120mm power G5 ships dominating everything, you've got a balance problem.

Have you considered moving whales to a server of their own where they have to fight people similar to their own power, repopulating the server with similar power players, and then instituting a monthly fee for access? Then eliminate any P2W characteristics and just do pay-for-cosmetics.

Otherwise you're going to deal with such insane imbalances that people are just going to quit and you'll be left without a game because whales won't have anyone to beat up.

At every level, the cost per credits (CPC) decreases. EXCEPT for Celebrated. The price per tokens actually increases. It is MORE expensive to buy 4,500 recruit tokens at Celebrated than it is to buy 500 at "chomp" level with a CPC of 0.160

4500 recruit tokens at 350 credits for celebrated would be more inline to the constant rate of discount (and reward for leveling up). At a rate of CPC of 0.07

Maybe it's a placebo, but I cleared localization on 2 of my iOS devices, a gen 4 iPad mini, and the 2021 iPad Pro, and animations seem a lot more fluid. Scrolling through the event list, and the alliance store just seem smoother, and stuff has been loading quicker as well. If this was added to the latest update, kudos!

Guys, you have to fix the bulk contribution feature. It treats every bulk contribution as a single point towards an event. The whole point of having bulk is that the counter will add up to your event counter quickly, that way you don't have to click/tap multiple times.

I don't know if anyone else has noticed, but i've ben having more severe lag than normal since the recent update. It's been extremely frustrating.

I had a bit to finish up on the recruit bael event that ended half an hour ago. I finished half of the event doing my swarm dailies yesterday, and was intending on finishing it up this morning doing today's swarm dailies. I started with about 45 minutes until the event finished. Normally. My swarm dailies would take me 20-25 mins to complete. The lag was so bad that I fell short of finishing the event before the event finished.....

And yet, the lag almost completely cleared up at the event reset.....

The game has at times become very laggy, particularly during takeovers. However, much more frequently the game keeps crashing every time I enter a territory, scan and then initiate an attack. Crash.

Bought a pack a over a week ago in the PC store, the game crashed and I never got the chest. Opened a support ticket, they told me I bought a different pack and closed it. Opened another support ticket they ignored it for several days, and after ra week of back and forth wouldn't fix it. According to the ToS there is no value for in game resources, so they literally told me that they can take my money but because of the issue they wouldn't give me something of 'no monetary value' to correct the issue.

yes stacking is when you get the 4th Multipurpose slot, you have a slot you can start any exo, the timer starts automatically, and what they mean by initiates in a battle is any COMBAT exo you do not need to go back to base for the effect to apply, like you have to with the Station or galaxy ones

like a mining eso buff, you have to have the miner in base for the buff to apply to the ship, but the countdown still starts when you start it

"replacing" an exo does not cause it to stack,

in the details tab of the building shows what you get for each building level.
It shows you get the extra Exo slot at level 35, which is the 'Multipurpose' Slot @exotic cloak

I have one question: on Server 161, there are actually a lot of accounts beeing traded as some of the biggest players quit and sell or gift their accouts to others. Kind of a flawed system. It’s litterly like playing Russian roulette since everything requires materials. I used this pic only due to not being able to show the 3* due to having to wait. But same principal . You mine so you can get the big draw, yet 9/10 you might get 7 uncommon and nothing else or even the worse draw we’re you get 1 common . A better system would be you get a set amount of this stuff based on your lvl instead of basically playing Russian roulette. I can understand this system for like officers and random events, but materials people need? The first stella can be obtained from the rogue faction store from reps Lackey, Abettor, and Troublemaker. Once you've completed the first stella, via any combination of methods, you no longer get the option to get more stella bps from that faction store other than the scrap exchange. If your members are of the right rep levels, and have not completed collecting enough stella bps, then they're bugged and should contact CS to exchange rogue credits for the ship bps.

I realize I'm likely not the first person to run into and deal with this but not having bumped into it before now, I need to provide some feedback on hostile limits....
-If you're going to have a limit on the number of hostiles you can kill in a period, then players need some kind of timer to know what the period of time is, and where they are in relation to that limit. If you can't provide that, then get rid of the limit or set it obscenely high until you can provide some kind of visibility into it....

-Personal opinion, this limit is stupid, get rid of it. I'm trying to grind for my ship and also for faction credit....so how big of a problem is this 'bot' problem or did you create a solution to something that is perceived as a problem??? Or is this just some artificial limit that is basically designed to force us into some kind of in-game spending. I'm extremely frustrated that I hit this limit at some point in a day, then went on to spend a borg warp token to do some borg grinding, not knowing I had hit a limit, didn't know about the problem, so wasted another token after restarting the game to see if it was a glitch. Nope, completely wasted, and the customer service response (while very professional) was basically 'tough, scopely don't care and we won't compensate you for wasting your in-game currency or time.' To be clear I'm the service person was not the issue, but this policy without any documentation or counters is the problem. Fix it

I agree with the very high prices on their items ... They are not worth it. However, there are people that for a reason or other have more money than they can spend, so they are ok with dishing out disgusting amounts on this game. As long as there are a few that do that, they don't care about the rest. There are plenty reports on different sites of high spenders being abusive in game with no repercussions. That same spending tells the developer they can afford to charge $100 for a few pixels. Think of NFTs, they are worth only as much as someone is willing to pay, but there are sufficient individuals that got fooled and spent millions on those pixels.

@sly fulcrum also I am level 34 so deep space is not reachable for me yet but just wanted to start the thought of making my commute there and back less than 15 min each way 30 min off wasted time in a limited timed based consumables and many other things like tc zones or raiding basic space bases our server 38 have what is called Deep Space Accord...all the major alliances with members who can access deep space have mutually agreed its purely safe zone no hitting opc miners period and use to be until recently about couple months ago people started throwing tantrums and hitting miners in Deep Space violating the Accord so those people get denied back unto previous alliance they dropped tags to throw tantrums and marked kos and hunted till they give up...and say they have had enough. server 38 has went through some major social dynamics. No assistance from scopely who has stated, when I specifically asked in game customer service if I was to relentlessly hunt and destroy a player everytime i seen them , denied them mining, armadas, hostile hunting,and did not stop when player complained or asked for them to please stop...just kept on till they quit game. because that is exactly what had been happening on server 38. Scopely in game customer service reaponded "I understand that situation could be frustrating but unfortunately that is pvp side of game and does not violate TOS so unless there are threat to life or some text from the people that violates the TOS there was nothing they could do because thats pvp part of game...glad I could clarify things for you.." i asked again to verify that he fully condoned the type of situation I described...and was told. "Sir I have already answered your questions if you persist on going on about same thing I will terminate this chat and you could be ignored in future when asking for help....is there anything I can assist u with?....👀 100% true story

I understand that not everything in a the game is free, that some things are free, basic functionality, and other things are optional/luxury items that require an investment to unlock. That's fine, I'm 100% okay with not having some things.
But what's not okay, what's even incredibly annoying, is to make the thing that's behind the paywall the centrepiece. That every time I look at my station, the focus is on the drydock that I didn't buy yet. The whole thing is just screaming "moneeeey, gief money pls. Look what other people have and you don't. buy it, DO IT".
Why couldn't it be placed on the side? I'm not going to quote the exact words of our own UX designer, but if this is what Scopely's UX designer came up with as a "good idea", well.. consider getting a different one
