For weeks I've been scraping together the materials to prepare for Ops 70 and to build a ship and upgrade it to my desired level, because you guys aren't capable of playing the game. A brand new G6 epic ship is useless, but you want me shooting V'ger enemies at level 70. How is that supposed to work? Do you even think about that? Apparently not. When the outpost was introduced, it was stated (if I'm not mistaken) that there would be many or great rewards. Months later, I'm still waiting for them. Ultimately, your statements are simply worthless. You write a lot of text, but it says nothing except "buy, buy, buy."

This is a redundant safeguard, because by no means(!) should you be able to scrap when it still might possibly help your needs. They wanted to rule that out.
The rewards are not helping at all on ops 70, but for they might be a little help on ops 63, so they put a stop to that, too. just to be sure

I still don't understand the logic of G5 scrapping. At 71, loyalty chests give me about 30k rare G6 mats per month for "free" by just doing dailies (10k per type). Scrapping a maxed 60 epic takes two months and a lot more g5 mats and I can get 2k G6 rare mats out of it? Way to make it not worth it.

The return on rss and mats is trash considering these timers, which are beyond insulting! By the time I see returns in all the g5 I have to scrap, because they took their sweet time "making it balanced" for economy reasons, we're gonna be in g8! They should cut these times down 75% at least to make up for the last, what 2 years, we've been waiting for what should have been implemented when g6 came out! Quit worrying about scrapping cutting into your bottom line and give us back decent return, in a decent time, on materials we ALREADY PAID for! Its bad enough you fill packs with old mats and rss thats useless, now you're also trying to remove the usefulness of the one method we have to get some of that turned into lvl appropriate stuff we can use!

Regarding G5 Scrapping i feel you gone too extreme.
I understand why Scopley does want people being able to Instantly max an Enterprise E by scrapping just 1 or 2 Enterprise D's, but it doesn't yield enough scrap for me to upgrade even 1 component on a low level one.

Well the content is only copy/pasted stuff.
Waves is nothing new, nor is scrapping. Since this arc is all just expending content on already existing features I expected a hell of a lot more QoL, but nothing meaningfull.

As a ops 60 player i got nothing this arc, and what is offerend in quantity nor quality is makes me quit faster instead of going up levels like scopely would like to see.
Maybe this month is finaly the month i can quit this game, since every month i have less hope of actually having fun again in this onces (a long long time ago) such a great game....

The packs are a scam. Value delivered never justified the price. Ships sold as meaningful content are deliberately crippled without additional paid upgrades. This is not game design — it is complete money extraction.

Bugs from months and years ago are still live. And WTH is this G5 scrapping?! Faction store "Claim All" still missing. And yet, new monetization schemes arrive every update, without fail. The priorities are not ambiguous.

Comeback events to lure back players who already left? You see the exodus. You know why. And your answer is still more packs, more paywalls — rather than fixing what people paid for.

You lied to your player base. By selling items that don't reflect the reality (FT still not upgradable to level 60 and yet, sold as if — pretty sure it can be called fraud in some countries). CoTA, Sarris, Incursions replaced by rewardless paywalled garbage, called "progression rebalance." And instead of fixing the game: Shorts, Realta skins, Cockpit videos patting yourselves on the back.
And on top of that: months to deliver this awful G5 scrapping. A freakin' slap in our faces.

You had a loyal player base. You chose to bleed it dry instead of building something worth staying for. That is a choice — and this deletion request is mine, as the robbed, deceived, disappointed, sad and angry player I am.

1. You claim that we are getting a % of the current cost to upgrade ships, but I upgraded a lot of ships before a lot of the efficiencies that I now have available. So I'm not getting a fair assessment value for what I put into the ship. I'm getting punished now for being focused on completing research.
   a. Is the ~2.5% that we're getting back of G6 mats, based on our G6 efficiencies?
   b. If I am low G6, I'll have less access to efficiency research and have worse efficiencies, I get more G6 mats?
   c. If I have better efficiencies, I get less?
   d. Is the 2.5% for scrapping a maxed G5 ship going to be 2.5% for a maxed G6 ship of equal grade? Or is it just to tier 12?

Just done some maths. The game's single biggest choke point, sigma tritanium, has been tightened by a factor of between 4 and 5 with the removal/movement of choice for mats and resources.

Just over a month ago the message was that there would be a consistent 1 week interval between BP'S rather than the occasional 2 week gap to maintain a monthly release schedule. This was apparently done knowing that the BP would be stretched to 27 days with a 1 day break. In addition the Choice Token system allowed players to choose the mats/resources most needed for progression. For example my soon to be ops 63 account will be building a Neg'var first which means needing Crystal/Ore with Gas being a lower priority. My ops 52 account will be building a Corvus First so I'll need Gas/Ore. In addition, the choice tokens were helpful for Alliance Tournament Tasks. For example I liked to save tokens then use them for the 10k acquire 52k G4 Crystal tasks.

GM Conman needs to explain WHY players were BLATANTLY LIED to. IF Scopely can't be HONEST with the player, Paramount should yank the license and Batgirl STFC.

Now, forgive me for wondering, as CT FT Officers and some ships aren’t working anymore, crates and loop prerequisites haven’t been released on loop day, and the team are “looking into it” these problems have been going on nearly 2 week getting progressively worse.

*Getting rid of the officer choice pulls is a really bad idea. Making it a gacha instead is just going to make an already-angry player base even angrier.

*Why in the world are the duo waves g6+? When I saw the banner, the first thing I thought was "oh sick a better way for alliances to onboard their littles into waves." Fits with the Academy theme for the arc, allows lower ops players to dip their toes into waves with some guidance from their leadership.

*Getting rid of the mat Choice Tokens and just baking the rewards into the pass is genuinely just worse. I get the idea? Less things for folks to click through I guess? But if I'm building an explorer and wanna spend all my choice tokens on gas, that tool is now gone for me.

I just don't understand. This all feels incredibly tone-deaf.

Hi, I am sure others have shared similar sentiments. I am Level 70, so G5 Scrapping definitely still has use for me. I am aware that G4 Scrapping ended up being something incredibly lucrative for G5 players and that this might not have been the intention, so course corrections were made for G5 Scrapping. I get it. I also get the rationale that scrapping can help with progression but not be the primary sourcing for progression. I expected lower payouts. I didn’t quite expect the payouts to be quite this low – I think it’s the equivalent of a few regular events. My biggest gripe with it is if you’re only going to be a drop in the bucket, don’t make me wait months for it too. Either quick and low payouts or long with bigger payouts. This makes me question whether to even bother. I might not need the materials in two months.

Scopley has been digging its own grave for a while now and with this update it seems like they've doubled down and upgraded from a shovel to an excavator. No more choice rewards (not sure how that's going to affect tasks for the alliance tournament event), no more battlepass overflow (loss of 360 broken desealing rod fragments per month), and they raise the price of the elite bp from $20 a month to $50 a month. I will not be paying $50 a month for the elite battlepass, so a loss of a very consistent $20 a month player here. I'm sure many others are in the same boat. These changes are an obvious money grab that's pricing out many loyal players. I just don't get what they are thinking. Scopley has pretty obviously been seeing some declining revenue due to a lot of factors like lower player satisfaction, in game bugs, etc. Raising prices will hurt the conversion rate, and the hope a company has by raising prices is that the increased revenue will offset the loss of volume. The problem here is that they are doing this instead of tackling the real problems going on that are causing players to leave. I think scopley is making a really bad business decision here. Stop making the game worse and taking away the few aspects of the game that made it a little better.

Update 90 = “The Great Nerfing”

This update isn’t balance—it’s a straight-up regression.

Choice Rewards removed → you just killed player agency. At lvl 70 pushing G7, Sigma Trit is already a choke point. This doesn’t “slow” progress, it blocks it.
Officer Depot Tokens removed → no more targeted officer upgrades. Strategy is gone, replaced with RNG and grind.
F2P descaling rods cut (720 → 450) → unless you pay. That’s not tuning—that’s forcing monetization.

Let’s be real: you stripped out multiple player-friendly systems in one update and replaced them with harder bottlenecks and more pay pressure.

This isn’t making the game more engaging—it’s making it more frustrating.

What this actually does:

Removes control from players
Increases already painful resource walls
Widens the gap between F2P and spenders even more

You’re not encouraging spending—you’re punishing people who don’t.

Bottom line:
Progression is now slower, less strategic, and more gated than before.

Fix it: Bring back Choice Rewards and Officer Depot Tokens, or introduce real alternatives that preserve player choice. Right now, this just feels like a cash grab that hurts long-term retention.
