So now that we know they can swap out the hostiles on the fly on the back end, having gone from GORN to Hurak and back about 3 or 4 times in the past half an hour.... how about fixing them spawn rates finally huh?

Lag will re-appear on EU servers in around 6 hours, when most have finished work and log in to do all the events/dailies. Probably because the servers aren't fit for purpose and cannot handle a lot of players trying to do stuff at the same time.

“Admiral Swap” (Based on RealityTV) – Server 84 Pilot

Two Alliance Admirals from completely different cultures, playstyles, and emoji philosophies on Server 84 randomly swap Admirals for 24 hours on the last day of every month.

How it works:

• At reset on the final day of the month, the system randomly selects two Admirals (who have not opted out).
• For the next 24 hours:
  • Admiral A wakes up controlling Alliance B.
  • Admiral B wakes up controlling Alliance A.
• They keep full chat & diplomacy access in both alliances during the swap.
• At the end of 24 hours → everything reverts. No permanent changes, no loot transferred.

Core Goals (Server 84 only):

1. Force players who think “those people are insane” to literally walk in their shoes for a day.
2. Dramatically improve cross-alliance understanding and reduce long-term salt.
3. Officially end the Great Banana–Squirrel Emoji Cold War.
   • The swap’s unofficial motto becomes:
     “There is literally no need to fear Bananas 🍌 or Squirrels 🐿️”
   • Every swap ends with both alliances posting at least one Banana and one Squirrel emoji in global chat as a peace offering.

Expected Outcomes:

• Alliances that normally never speak suddenly have to coordinate defense, PvP, and events together for 24 hours.
• Old grudges turn into “wait… that’s why you do it like that?” moments.
• The server gains hilarious content: screenshot montages, alliance chat leaks, frantic strategy sessions, and inevitable “I had no idea you guys were actually competent” revelations.
• Tensions over dumb emoji phobias get laughed out of existence.

We propose starting small: opt-in only for the first 2–3 months, then make it automatic-but-with-an-opt-out toggle if it proves popular.

Server 84 is chaotic enough to make this glorious and chill enough that most people would laugh instead of rage-quit.

It did work, because the task won’t repopulate till I recall the ship that hit it. They got more efforts invested into screwing with players than they making the game work.

That is the DM that as long as my friends are still playing, I stuck around just to what kinda dumpster fire they cause, and see how far I can take adventure off the map.

And then we talk smack about that dude and shame them amongst the gamer group.

Honestly what you guys need to do is like not do any events etc for maybe a week or something (or at least minimal), and I know your updates are usually fully of flashy, but flawed new things (that inherently will cost the player money of course), take the time you would have used to deploy this and, I dunno, MAKE YOUR GAME WORK.

People have been cry8ng out for the stability issues, gameplay issues, bugs etc to be fixed. Can't keep just papering over a cracked wall. If you do, the walls will jump crumble around you (like they are already starting to do)

Are you still working on anything for stability in waves? The game just crashed again during the first wave in an elite solo wave, so I lost those directives, and they are pretty slow to get in the game, so they're valuable.

So the game is still lagging for me on 405. Doesn't matter if I restart the game or deleting the cache / localisation. And for some days, it was impossible to solve the dailies at all. Not sure if there was a fix considered during this maintenance period but still, it is lagging. Are there any updates about the known issue?

Here on Eu server 114 we started the day with a new upgrade and now in the early evening the game has been tweaked But the Bugs / Lag and all the junk we assumed would be addressed is still broken ! Stop pointing out spelling errors. Every time we get a patch they tell us about the 73 bugs they fixed. Then when you read the log 72 of those bugs were spelling errors they fixed. The other 5 bugs they list are nerfing some buffs, research , or officer. The other 9 are 'backend " things that didn't really get fixed. @raw fiber at this point, the “impact” you speak of goes far beyond in game issues, lost excel parts, incomplete events, etc. That “impact” is now going on trust (see scopelys dumb decision to reduce gold shield duration in the middle of the night) and ever worsening player / dev relations. AWS outages are one thing, but the past few weeks/months, we’ve seen incompetence coming from scopely that has far exceeded even the worst game devs. The loss of excel parts due to putting them apart of a daily loop and then all the issues those hostiles are causing…. Personally I'm avoiding the arc as I have the past couple because activity acts as encouragement. They're only interested in numbers engaging, they don't care about any actual feedback. The only way to get the message across is to stop doing what they put in front of us.

Same with that ridiculous discount button deliberately placed next to the alliance help button. People will be accidentally clicking it because of the purposeful placement and that'll be enough to justify it remaining there. The people making the decisions are Ferengi. It's not on the Devs, it's on the money men and so long as they see engagement, they will continue on their path. If people want change, ignore/boycott the rubbish, spend less, etc. Once the bottom line really starts taking a hit, maybe then we'll get actual improvements to the game. Just don't hold your breath...

It may be time to consider introducing a punch down mechanic into the daily scoring for vger. I keep seeing players who are considering quitting the game because they can’t hit vger hostiles at their level. That’s not healthy for the game! Allow a punch down mechanic with more grind as the payoff but at least let people have a chance of completing their free to play milestones

New hostiles with abilities and officer restrictions are fun for me, I like these hostiles. But it’s a pain fest for many

The problem I have with it is that these new loops cause frustration and I’m sure scopely hope people will buy the tool that makes it easier. Creating loops that are too difficult for a lot of the player base won’t change spending habits. The lag in the chat reflects the lag in the game - it's unplayable today. A ship enters a system and its a full 30 seconds before I can see it, by which time a chaser has destroyed it. I open a refinery chest and then go into a different area of the refinery and pull another. That one gives the rewards from the first one thanks to the delay. I need to go out to galaxy view and back into the system each time I kill a hostile or they all just freeze in invalid locations.

There is a way to turn it off. If you're cross-saving across devices, log into the game on your other device; it'll kick you off of the first device, then you hit retry on the first device; it'll kick you off the second device, and bam.....sound is borked.

It also borks if, for some reason, you have a connection fault that results in the same "retry" screen.

For instance, turning off your wifi until the game realizes something's wrong, then turning it back on...

Travel to deep 6* Federation space is way too slow. I have all superhighways and it still takes 6 - 7 min. to get to Endron Delta. My Revenant on the other hand takes just over 2 min. to get to same place. It uses Buyq"eal in Klingon space and up to Endron Beta rather than using the Solas Astra route. Someone must have been extremely hungover when they designed this.

If you almost cross over to G4, G5, G6 you can actually wait up to 2 months to exchange these elite tokens and get better rewards.
Unfortunately no armada starts to compensate the cancelled armadas and formation armadas when the lag was at its peak (and nothing to proof we lost them)...

There's no "compensation chest" that can satisfy everyone... Even if it contained a Prime card, they'd still complain and whine!

This game has been destroyed by greedy people to make a quick profit they push events and keep adding events so you have no time to for real life and they force you to go to higher ops to make more money and because they add so many events they also add the terrible glitches that destroys your gaming experience

I don't know what the box is supposed to compensate for, but because of the many lags or the fact that you couldn't really get into the game, some players weren't able to complete the events or daily challenges. Therefore, the box is rather too small as compensation, and it would have been great if a few event points and challenge points had simply been added.

all I know is I know what I lost out on event wise because of not even being able to log into the game during hours I'd normally play game meaning not while I work and thst comp chest doesn't come close to even 3% of the event rewards or even the bp rewards. I'm in the US servers even though I'm Canadian which doesn't matter i guess compared to others issues in the same regard. do I spend a lot of money nope not at all why because its been proven time and time again over past 3 years especially on how little they care about the basics of this game. I can't bring myself to give money to someone who can't even admit this fundamental fact and improve on it especially with all the money they do make and they can't afford to fix it companies made much less than this game makes and has less issues by far with a bigger player base I just cant understand the math other companies million of players and less issues scopley let's be nice 250k players and issues upon issues upon issues. then there's the cost of things continuous ongoing costs and content every month in stfc to a 1 time cost for game titles in other companies.

Recall all ships, and restart, not a bug but a new feature to prevent you from boosting multiple targets.

And writing tickets usually involves being ignored or told it’s your fault anyway
