So not only is the ship weak but the best you can hope for at T2 is to upgrade 1 component per day on weapons then 1 component every 2 days for the others...

What do you expect a ship that has the power of a Mayflower? At this this lvl, the ship can only be used as a Loot chest collector so you can unlock FC Khan and lvl him up. You also get some common loot. You will need to use you faction ship for the next year to get the Rare and Epic loot. So slow grind the loop, if you don't want to spend money on the ship. You can use it 2 ways, punch down with loot crew to work on your rep. Or puch up to get more loot. If your overnigth it, not sure what willl give you most rep. I For me i use it during the night in the 28 system to get Loot chest, and 42 during the day so i get UC loot and bigger loot from chest. A ship that is built for ops 28-70 will never be strong before you get to your lvl. And up to T4 This is a Ops 40 ship. So you killing 42 with the ship is punching up with it. Its not your lvl before T15

Guess your ISO damage is not to high, i can grind 68 as ops 69 but are much more effective using loot crew hitting the 64. But i need to use my FT, CA, and remember to change FC from Armada Boost to Hostile boost. I like to have some challange. So i can work on my account to become better. Test different officer combination below deck & bridge. Should not always be PMC and see how much you can click on the red`s. I have rushed my ops, so my ships & research is not to strong, that will limit some of my Grind. As i try to get the G6 Epic ship. Then focus on research to boost it. So your play stile have consequences. Not always fun, to not fully engage i new content. It was same with Elite Solo, cound only do wave 2 now i can do Wave 3 and almost Wave 4. Slowly getting stronger.

Personally I always liked that 2-3 hour OPSing ritual. The G6 sort of ruined it with sigma times, but now with ops66(67) I got enough speed ups and the "ritual" will feel like the old days. I like it. The spending sms also nice, since it was not a rhing back in the early G5 and below. With proper saving T2 can be easily finished. But definitely not every month nor every second.

I do like the sms paired since my bracket goes to 60. I’ll report back later. I think it’s more the feeling that you’re doing so much, for so little. This problem didn’t really exist for me before I had very high efficiency. We got hit with that and mats giving less points. Double whammy. Back in the day, ops’ing up took good care of you. Soon I won’t be able to compete at all without doing tons of ships.

It always throws you out of the specific conversion and you have to scroll hundrets times to the exact same converter to do it one by one.

To get t1 of the sms with buildings only, for a whopping 3 shards. I had to ops up 53-54, build academy, R&D, Shipyard, Refinery, and drydock A-D. After 21 alliance helps on all, 1,129 days (3 years ) but only 338k lat. just feels strange and uneventful.

this may be a bad take but while watching rev QnA video, when he was talking about the question about needing to spend a thousand dollars to make a ship relevant to g6, I was thinking, with the increase in ships each year and needing 100 days to unlock each ship completely f2p, why not let us start buying the ship parts early(so we get to claim ship bps each day as well as the ship parts needed to level it), this way it becomes relevant the moment we get it completely f2p instead of having to regrind the ship parts the moment we unlock the ship and wait another 3 months before its relevant to g5/g6

Was wondering if anyone has had the same issue I am having and a direction that it can go to be addressed?
My issue is the INSTA button under the Help/Speed Up. I clicked the help and then went to click speed up to get to the screen where I can use Latinum to speed up the process. Just a milisec between clicking the help the screen jump up slightly and i hit the insta. I always get a screen asking me do you wish to spend or not. This screen never showed at the scam button took approx 22mil lat.
I contacted support to get help and have the latinum returned as I did not wish to spend 22mil lat to speed something up that would be around 32k.
Support denied me and informed me that in settings there is an option to turn it on and off. I am fully aware of this and went and took a screenshot. I went back to the support convo to upload the photo to show those setting are correct and checked there was no upload img anymore. I decided if they want the info they will request it so i submitted the remaining info to them and noticed the convo was closed and my info went towards feed back.
Sorry so long but I will be leaving the game as another lost customer disappointed by how support treats its customers. But the final straw was going back to check my settings again and they have been manipulated and changed. I didnt change a single thing. Im not here to scam anyone as 22 mil lat is not worth scamming for but im submitting the images here and im curious if support is capable of manipulating the settings because i never received the lat screen and my settings where on at that time but about 3 hours later i go back and see they have been changed.
I enjoyed the game but it seems Scopely is becoming desperate and taking some pretty extenuating actions to make support side look right. Again after noticing they have been changed after the fact im pretty done.

If I were to give feedback I would argue the free shields after the maintenance are too short. If it weren't for me staying up to late hours I would have no shields at all and all they'd do is prevent assailants from hitting me for a short time. The Independent Archives....while good in theory......could use some tweaking. Once you master a ship, you should be able to choose between receiving the current bundle that includes parts, etc which is useful if you plan to build additional copies of the same ship......or a different bundle that has other "loot" in it that could actually be of use.....such as credits, speedups, directives, material, etc. That would be much better than continuing to receive a ton of stuff that I have no use whatsoever......Decoded Data, D'Vor parts, frequency modulators, etc. Either that, or provide an exchange for items that are no longer needed....similar to that which was recently offered for parts from certain ships.

worst part of p1 missions is the unnecessary addition of sigma speedups for g6 players. sigma as a concept made general sense for g6 because the numbers were getting huge. it makes no sense for away teams where the previous max mission was like 5 days. you could’ve designed it so g6 gets longer p1 away teams missions, like 2 weeks or something. as it stands g5 and below have a huge leg up on the new research because they don’t need to wait for drip feed of speedups. it’s not 2023 anymore, not all g6 players are whales. it would be good to see a significant improvement in sourcing - you didn’t even add them to the dailies.

1. we need to know how many tokens we have on hand, and how many parts we are converting too (ie rare battleship parts in this case), along with our current parts we are trading from (already shown). That is 3 bits of info which seems to be the limit for any screen for whatever reason.

2. We need a slider bar. Doing this one at a time is a chore.

I have been playing this game for 4 years now and have experienced a lot, especially when it comes to the game function after updates. What has happened on the servers in the last few weeks is a slap in the face for every player. Every time you think it can't get any worse, you manage to go one better. Ships get stuck in the slipstream, you don't get any more rewards, you click on pick up bonus in your own base and the game hangs up, you are in wave defense and the game freezes completely, you move a ship from a mine, the path is displayed but the ship just stops ... I could go on like this forever.
Instead of releasing a new type of gameplay every week, you should concentrate on getting your software up and running first before activating it on game servers. It's an imposition and an absolute impertinence towards each and every one of us. One thing and that is the most important .... The well-being of the end customer ... the fun of the game ... you have completely lost sight of the basis on which this game is built. As a customer, I say to you ... shame on you. Keep it up and you'll certainly manage to drive the last ones who have held out for years off the servers, but you don't care ... you've already got the money from them ... you'd rather tell new players the fairy tales that experienced players have long since stopped believing....

Fix your 💩. Stop putting bandaids on everything trying to get money from people.
Instead of a mid month maintenance tha FOCUSES on 2 to 3 new primes and heroices... you can bite my shiny metal 🍑. Stop making 4* specialty ships the normal. 80% of your player base is g5 or above... I shouldn't have to sit on a ship fot 6 months to get it useful...

I have stopped playing Star Trek Fleet Command. I am now playing Forge Of Empires. My reasons are as follows:

1. Playing STFC takes too much time. I have other things to do.
2. Having to kill 400 enemies to complete an event is boring.
3. Some Primes and other features can only be obtained by purchasing them.
4. Purchase prices close to £100 and £50 for a mere game are too expensive when there are things like food, fuel, and clothing to buy.
5. Interface is boring. You may have to wait ages for a shape to move to a target system. Once there, you select an enemy to attack, and wait some more while your ship completes the action. A few bridge shots would improve it.

On the other hand, in Forge of Empires, I can collect coins, set my production to 8 or 10 hours, and get on with my life. Battles are auto completed in a short time. Yes, there is the matter of diamonds as currency, and they cost, but not as much as STFC bundles.

Today and yesterday I killed Hijacked Augment ships. That's ok. But today I'm with the same ship, enemies and crew, except that I swapped Hugh in the bellow deck for WOK Joachim. I look at the log why I killed so few hostiles and I find out that the damage I take is 99% the same. If I knew, I wouldn't buy it in the event store. With Hugh I kill the enemy in 7 rounds and with WOK Joachim 12 rounds. That's something you did again. I'll ignore WOK Joachim even if you fix it.

For a total of 49,549 Pioneer Crests, we can get a whole...5% cost efficiency bonus? And it doesn't even affect the Pioneer Crest cost for promoting WoK officers that require them?

Using the values on stfc.space, if one were to max out Pure Pioneer Crests before doing ANY other research that requires Pioneer Crests

PC Cost to max PPC: 49,549
PC Cost to max all other research WITHOUT PPC: 1,597,500
PC Cost to max all other research WITH PPC: 1,568,619
PC savings from maxing PPC first: 28,881

Considering how much it would slow progress to max it out first, PPC just seems like a trap. And that's assuming the MOST generous case, where a player maxes it out before spending crests on ANY other research. AND considering that the vast majority of the savings will come from the last couple of ranks of the longest research nodes, it would mean an even longer delay for PPC to pay for itself.

Over a year ago you introduced Freeborg, which helped with the grind immensly. Then, about 6 months ago, the Archives. Again, nice add for speeding old content.

Now you are recycling daily grinding events like Borg Cube grind, Aquatic grind, Second Contact, etc. and now we have Gorn Grind, Silent Grind, Continuum Grind... now I can similarly give up on the Augment Exile grind, not to mention on BP events running multiple Lost and Hirogen grind SMS events. I think you’ll be surprised by the data you’ll see after these last two arcs. The sentiment is almost entirely negative on my server. I suspect you’re seeing a pretty big decline in event completion because these events are awful.

Now we have to buy two battle passes to unlock a rare Officer. We used to get the ship through events and battle pass and the rare Officer total and the epic was achievable with battle pass and auctions. Now it is a joke.

Except this game had over 90% retention in the first few years. Which was phenomenal. After the greed became overwhelming obvious, that started to change. Scopely could have kept this game healthy for an insanely long time. But they're choosing short term profit over long term viable. Even if the number of players remains consistent, they are losing whales at a faster pace than they used to. And new players aren't as likely to become big spenders these days. The game was always a bug fest. But it's gotten so much worse.

On S80 the Borg their is a player who hit over 200 armadas in one day for points. There are no guard rails when 3 or 4 alliances can wipe out miners and alliances when they choose. You’ll end up with a few active alliances who have reached their member limits. The user base will shrink a server base will shrink ans there will be a server merge. The powerful players will go stronger by purging the new server

Top alliance on my server it actively trying to get a merger by attacking alliances to get people to quit the game. If they get the merger, I have no doubt they will try to form a new top alliance with the top alliance for the other server, maybe just the top players for both. This will leave like 3/4 to 4/5 of the current roster to either quit or try to find a new alliance on the other server because they have burned every bridge on the current server. I hope I'm there to see it.

Buy a BuzzKill app on your phone and you can create rules that filter notifications based on their source/content, and do different actions, e.g. no alarms or different alarms. Not impossible. Definitely not Heroic. You need to accomplish 18/22 of the sms events, not all of them, so you can basically ignore 4 of the worst (like yesterday's Augment Exile event). It is a slog, to be sure, but killing ~220 can be done F2P. If you are a newer player, having the officers might be a problem. If you have been playing a while though, you should be able to have unlocked most of them. I have all but 5 unlocked (admittedly, lower tier for most) and have been F2P for the last 2.5 of the 4 years I have played. 1st year I bought some battle passes and Research/Construction/Dock unlocks, but haven't spent a penny since November 2023, and have only missed finishing one of the SMS so far.

I know. I checked both. I know you can look up individual researches and find the requirements. I get that. My comment was simply that there was no method on either site to search for a specific requirement, in this case Rare Prime Orbit Medallions, and have it return all research options that use that particular item. If I'm missing a way to do that, please let me know. Otherwise, it would be a nice feature to have.

No worries, I am just getting the hang of those. Fiddling with the research, just found out that I needed 4k+ just to get WOK bones to T2. Looks like the entire WOK line is going to sitting fallow as again, like the mirror officers, Scoply you can shove these “extra” promotion mats up your 4th point of contact. Didn’t like them with Borg officers, and you really jumped the shark with the WOK officers and the pioneer crests. So glad I don’t spend “real” money on this game. 🙄. And It’s getting so much easier to cut bait with each bs arc and grind they pull. (As to YOUR issue there, I would have responded, please refund my money, as what you are giving is NOT worth the money I spent. It never is, but what Scoply feels is fair, is beyond robbery)

How do you know Scoply done jumped the shark and lost all reason? Those are THREE maxed epics. Two of them my highest Defense officers (with ALL the research of a mostly maxed out 60 going to 61, so substantial) , and I STILL am less than 💯. Translation, Scopy’s weighted RNG odds are it will fail. So NOT going to do it.

I recently started playing and even dropped $200, got myself up to operations 26. But I just really really dislike the process of redeeming timed rewards. Having to login then spend 5 minutes slowly clicking through buttons which take several seconds each time. It truly feels like a cognitive test for a monkey. Black desert has this system where you can get these dice, and you unlock multiple dice for just being active and being online. Having a system where you had to be active for 10 minutes/20/30/40/50/60 minutes just automatically redeems your rewards which aren’t tied to a timer that gets reset based on when you redeem the rewards would be a way more appealing system. For instance for those who don’t have that hour to spend, they can just have the game open in the background. Just anything besides having to click through 10-20 buttons which you have to confirm each button. Those 5 minutes of clicking buttons could be 5 minutes spent playing the actual game and it just really leaves a bad taste in my mouth and does ruin the experience for me. I’m probably just shouting into the void here, but I’m just curious if anyone else feels the same way

Just a quick question....I realise different Projectiles stack their buffs on your ships but I was wondering if I get, for instance, two or three Positron Phasers... will that give me more than the 10% damage boost?

Think of it as a research node, once you unlock the positron phasers, you now have the buff applied to all of your ships. And you can't unlock the research node a second time.
