Whatever happened since the start of this arc that has caused the game to continuously lag (most aspects - viewing systems, locating ship, retrieving chests, etc), please fix it. Since the first portion of this arc this game is simply unplayable anymore. You're about to lose a player. it technically has no "required ops level".
it does however accurately note the need to complete earlier missions in the chain, 1 of which being "upgrade ops to 42"

the website just has basic data from a database and simply cannot understand that a previous mission requiring you to upgrade to ops42 means that effectively this mission has an ops requirement of 42, unless the (game's)database has it specifically listed as such.

scopely dont read feedback, they only listen to CCs IF they arent on profit target for a particular pack or month. Plenty of very good ideas have been put forward here, as well as plenty of silly ones. Scopely know they have no understanding of the game itself and so will not risk taking anything from here what-so-ever. They may visit to see how players react though, for statistics on the link between complaints and spend.

Even after all the complaints they still added the new station raiding prime that will ruin any chance of lower ops taking a single hit from big players.

We have 10 systems full of uc borg armadas. Imagine if those were all Eclipse uc

This kills the game for me. This takes any chance a lower ops player has of defending against a large ops player. It takes away several crews worth of skills just to try and fend off one attack. Most of all it takes away the fun of the game for me.

I was always taught that crews/experience could at least sometimes tip things in your favor in this game. This takes away any chance for lower ops players to fend off even one hit from large players. I'm OPS 47 and occasionally if I lined all my defenses up correctly I could very occasionally defend against a 53-56 ship keep in mind that is with everything home and crews set up just for defense.

Now any hope of surviving even a single hit or costing them any amount of repair is gone once they have this prime. I know people have quit for various reasons through the years but this one is my reason. I hope the whales that pushed for this enjoy it. There will be no one left to play the game with and enjoy it with once its all said and done.

This takes away what little fun was left in the game for me. It erases literally dozens of crew skills designed to defend your base and makes them all pointless. All because what a mid 40-50 ops player can destroy/damage someone's expensive ship a single time only to get plowed through on the next hit?

This is the death bell for me unless they change. This game is only going to go down hill further and further. I hope the people that pushed for this prime enjoy there rewards. An empty server with all the lower ops perma shielded or just leaving the game.

In a way I'm grateful to finally escape this game. I've loved this game for over a year now because I love Star Trek but this company truly doesn't care about any of us. Every week I see more and more people quitting. We aren't appreciated and it shows especially if you play any other kind of mobile game similar to this. The benefits they give are much more worth while and usually cost far less.

I have been offered a few sponsorships to play this game on twitch and always turn them down because I can't with a clear conscious suggest anyone play this game its genuinely sad. I'm wondering when a mission says level 6. What ship in any server has a ship at level 6 that has a warp range of 35? I'm baffled on how that is possible. I'm a level 14 and ummm, Yeah - Going Boldy where No One has Gone Before doesn't work in this game.

It's a bug, sorta, the mission has the location set to "nearby" which is handled the same way as Q hostiles - X warp jumps, regardless of range or locks, you can raise a cs ticket and they'll complete it for you

There is a 2k daily hostile kill limit, after which you stop earning rep/lootboxes/cargo/xp. It resets at 5 utc, ie. one hour after daily reset.

Daily reset is ridiculous, it should also reset with Event reset. It’s time for the daily kill limit to be lifted entirely, especially either with events like CoW and others in mind. With the hostiles that need to be killed every day just to complete various refines/events/daily hostiles, 2K is very outdated and arbitrary.

Not really, no one should play the game in a way where you'd regularly hit this limit. The game should instead be changed to reduce hostile requirements throughout.

If an alliance wants to be competitive in the COW event you will pass the limit every day during the event. The above starts at second place in today COW ALB

Now consider the need to kill half the limit in events such as Military Supremacy. And the ever-increasing numbers in other events as you progress in the game. Added together its a large number of required kills every day to be competitive. Please ask the game folks to remove this blocker from the game. Enjoy your day.

I haven't ever hit the limit myself, BUT.

It's annoying that it exists, particularly for events that require hitting ships. Some people do put in the work, particularly lower levels, and this effectively hurts competition.

However, the rewards are crap so the whole thing is moot. Until Scopely actually rewards player for effort instead of just spending, it doesn't really matter.

Meanwhile, we have a lat event every week that gives out Quark shards through a straw while I have billions of G5 tucked away because the refinery is a straw.

Events run cause people to stock up on things to the point where they are waiting on refine times, and it's ridiculous.

Meanwhile, they have the developers busy hiding 10 minute rewards to 3 clicks instead of 2 (why can't it just be one? Why can't we just click it like the event button for our rewards?), people are missing events because they can't find them in the mess they've made of that menu...

For a game that people have spent as much money on as this, to expect better seems reasonable to me.

I understand, and better is the direction I want the game to go. However, we're working with ideals here, and I don't see how removing the cap is the best route. Sure, it can alleviate some rare issues when events/features come together in a bad way that requires tremendous effort for players to "finish."

But I feel they should develop the game in a way where spending half a dozen hours a day is seen as worse than abnormal, obscene even. Some effort is okay to differentiate players, but a healthy limit gives time to engage with all the other loops they keep introducing.

Well, let me ask this question, and you can keep the answer to yourself - it's meant to give perspective on what we're discussing.

How long do we wait for the game to catch up on these things when we have funded the game?

Every person's answer will be different, but I will wager that those that spent the most will stay the longest - it's a behaviorial science thing, where because one has spent so much that lovely white elephant will one day be valuable if we just wait.

Those less 'invested' will leave. It depends on personality and a few other factors, but everyone's 'wait' period will vary.

The whole hostile limit seems like a way to slow players down from getting bp for ships. A small attempt to steer them towards the store. It's up to players to decide how much time they want to spend on a game. I dont remember sony shutting down Playstations when final fantasy 10 came out because players were spending hours doing something they enjoy...

That is what they should do yeah. The amount of money they would be losing due to bots grinding more than 2000 hostiles everyday is extremely small. You need a ship within the same class to be able to grind for that ship anyway, with the exception being the ops 46 ships. But still even then you can get ops 46 ships f2p pretty easily. You also need the mats to be able to upgrade them.

Besides, the great value in a bot can be had way under 2000 hostiles just doing token stuff or goo grinding daily. The 2k limit doesn't make sense to me

It seems like faction rep will be even more important with G6 right around the corner. With the release of "chronometric" features, there should be a "temporal" or "chronometric" exocomp that would temporarily reset your status with a faction so that you would be targeted as a hostile (like before faction locks). It could be faction specific and maybe last for 3 hours.

So you don't think people should be able to just leave their ships out grinding/farming hostiles? Cause you can easily hit it that way...Say for example you leave 2 ships out most of the day or 4 ships out while you sleep, since the spawn rate for hunters/chasers is 1 per minute

I'm not talking about taking abilities away from players. I think the game should be designed in a way that, sure it's possible to autogrind, but you wouldn't want to in the first place.

Going through this aspect of the game, I'd categorize ships into Legacy and Modern. Legacy ships are the ones where autogrinding makes viable progress and is probably worth doing, eg. 26s. Modern ships are instead G5+ that require so much xp that it is not worthwhile. Next I'd greatly boost lat income so that that is the method of xp acquisition.

Players can still do it, and at the low end it can be okay. But for Modern players, the game requires action for progress. It's not a movie, and move it away from the idle game genre. Actions precipitate reward. Doing that can wipe out all Legacy ship xp needs and put the game on a path where you want to engage with the content: meaningful progress for pushing a button.

I Play overall since 4 years maybe…they do 😃 for important things like merger, incursion, arc events…that’s enough for playing and be informed. There's no sourcing for all these 4* parts the specialty ships need. Voyager commerce is rng and hasn't dropped any in a week, all my event rewards and other chests are 5* only. You had it right with stella - specialty ships only take specialty parts. Not mats, not rss, not refined parts.

People also pass around high level accounts where the original player retired or sold it off, quietly, outside of game, to someone else.

The regular line is: unless you can get them to admit it unequivocally in game that they broke the tos rules, nothing will be done.

Move on to real games, all this is is a pack buying simulator.

Look, I just got tired of all the bugs, etc., and I just decided to start a pirate alliance and shoot for a personal best of 100B in PD. Im taking on 5 of the largest alliances on the server. I've parked my 6.5 billion power base right in the heart of their biggest territory keeping little to no rss exposed. They try and punch through they lose trillions in trit and get nothing but dust in their amalgams. Meanwhile I launch ships that decimate all of their miners and grinders and am gone before the 60's with their 1.5B ships and maxed Forbidden Tech can get to me. This is the only reason they're screaming about "bots". It's me against like 520+ players. It's like fishing with a box of grenades and a cast net. I have a 220M talios with a speed crew that kills just about anything that isn't running Freeman.

I have found the game to be far more stable on the newest iOS devices. My iPad Pro has not had a single crash, not has the latest iPhone 15. There's still the "battle bug" when someone hits my base it seems to lock everything up in battle mode and requires a reset to regain control. When it locks up for me, does the attacker just see their ship locked in battle or are they able to continue hitting? I haven't been able to tell yet.

There's another explanation @crude sandal that people neglect to consider about "bots". Also it's when someone has a friend inside an enemy alliance feeding them coordinates of miners, bases and armadas. They oftentimes mistake the fact they keep getting sold out to much amusement for someone using a "bot". Occam's Razor and all that. 🤣

This game and the money grab has gotten so ridiculous, it not worth even playing anymore ... or at least dumping money into. Its just not worth it, even knowing all of this company's background AND its eventual demise. ALL GAMES LIKE THESE HAVE LIVES. Once the revenue drops to a level of unsustainability, it is shelved. I know all of you have noticed that the events and rewards simply have different titles, but are just carbon copies of the same thing. Having 2 max Amalgam, 3rd chest ex borg research, then having no useful items at that point in amalgam refinery basically ended the arc for me. Amalgam was 1 of the best adds to the game. For the past couple of months, I've been trying to figure out how my game account got deleted. The best I can figure out, through disjointed, support is that they got a request "from my email address" and they followed through with that request. I never made such a request from my email, through the game or by any other means at all. I decided to take a break earlier this year and when I came back my account was gone. Best I can think is someone got ahold of my email address (maybe via Discord?) and put in a request via the support website. Since the account has been deleted, they claim to have no way to recover anything at all.

Mostly I'm posting this as a warning to folks since there's there seems to be a complete lack of security with these accounts. Be very careful with your information and make sure it's not posted anywhere! One of the replies I got from support said that "since account sharing is against ToS, we assume the request came from you and processed it". Since the support site doesn't require authentication and you can just type in whatever email address you want into it, that's a crazy policy. I spent a fair amount of money on that account and to have it just gone is beyond disappointing.

And before anyone asks, yes it was linked to a Scopely ID and, yes, support verified that the game account was deleted. They can't tell me anything else about it. They also deleted my Scopely ID too because they completely misunderstood what I was saying. It was a difficult getting whatever little information I could get because they would always send back canned messages that didn't answer questions and instantly close the tickets. Oh and half the time emails from support went to spam.

If I have a suggestion for Scopely on this is, have better security on these accounts!!!

you get them from 20-25ish hostiles, if you've levelled past that you won't see many

leave a few ships out overnight in low-end augment space and you'll get some 🙂
Basically, you see more g3 ships dropping because the level range for G3 (in general - 20 levels vs 10 for all other grades) and the drop range for the loot (up to 45s it feels some days) is so much wider

Yeah having that too. And the best part? My alliance just started a TC, and we are trying to fight two alliances ( one legit fight and a server whale bully alliance ( really loving how a 58 can hit 35s there scopes)). I am unshielded and been booted out of the game 5 TIMES NOW!

It's bad enough that this game has an unstable connection and loses connection when your internet increases or decreases I'm quality ( yes, lose connection even when it gets better). Been testing for months, and I have observed that the insane lag (esp on mobile) is made worse by a client that freaks out when your internet changes quality.

You’re new so you don’t quite understand the scope(ly) of how long and how bad the game stability has been, not to mention the bugs that are as old as they are. I honestly feel bad for you and your optimism and do not relish others watching you noticeably fade and eventually resorting to the tactic of meme spamming to move beyond difficult problems that will never be resolved and you know you have no input on.

Let’s just choose one bug for example: officer presets and how unlocking a new one or changing a setup can delete all other presets. This is a several year issue now. Please let us purchase a token to transfer servers at any level. Rationale: 1. Scopely doesn’t enforce any standards of behavior and abuse that’s reported is never acted upon. 2. Could possibly be that 93 is more "stable" than my home server 90, as during the entire incursion up until maintenance I never left the enemy server. Most of my alliance got a compensation gift after the downtime. I, and a few others did not. Does Scopely think some of us were not inconvenienced by the extended maintenance? (And are still being inconvenienced because our server has no new events or BP yet).

The extensive downtime today left my ships on 0 nodes for several hours, during a mining event. It completely wrecked my chances when, until the downtime, I was 4th on my SLB.

Ok this scalable borg cube and cutting beam is a cool idea. We can do damage to hostile and player ships from afar without engaging in direct combat! There are some cool strategic possibilities for alliances to gather a bunch of cubes, charge up the cutting beams, and unleash on a target that individually they couldn’t kill. It’s about time Scopely did something like this.

The game is called “Fleet” command but so far combat has been exclusively 1v1. Will we finally (fingers crossed) get close to an effective multiplayer fleet?

I am confused Scopely. German system settings and english client language. The display of numbers is a bit messed up. How much items do I have? The beam according to the tooltip has a 10% damage per ops level reduction. If anything it should be an increase. Terrible direction. When you’re in between a t6 g3 epic level and a t6 g4 UC level there’s a huge power spread. The cube is going to fall behind anyway. This doesn’t make sense.

Freebooters made life a lot easier. Monaveen idle farming is even better. Having to spend over an hour farming with the cube to do the refines is a step in the wrong direction. There is no need to remove grinds.

Players just have to step over their fomo and stop doing everything every day.

Leaving something undone is not in many people's DNA. We have cornered the market on the folks with OCD like myself. but you are correct. The grind is part of the game. Lessening the effect would be a step forward and freebooters helped a ton with that. Having the cap on loot chests is almost laughable at this point as if you are one of the above-mentioned folks you will run into it during most events.

• total daily screen time demands
• UI QoL improvements (i.e. Refine/claim all,menu improvements, etc)

Lo, they’ll never actually reduce screen time demands. They want you to spend so much time here that you have no other games to play or spend money on so everything here seems like a more and more worthwhile purchase.

Yep, I understand their reasoning. But the point is this is a feedback channel. I have spent a great deal of time and money on this game and am tired of player concerns consistently being willfully ignored, repeated content launch issues, and constant performance issues.

I believe they should know that they were and still are very close to losing me as a player. I doubt they care that much about me individually leaving, but I doubt I'm the only one who feels like "great, new ship, more expensive pay-scheme content, yet once again no real improvements to core problems".

Cuz having to reload every 5 minutes to "fix" things like this makes the game really unfun

Yes, not only can we not collect the new missions, we cant grab any missions currrently from the holodeck. Some made purchase for buffers and are not happy. Class action works fyi. The new Blizzard beta worked better than this crapola.

Ok so dont attack a hostile with your cube and use the beam at same time it lock’s your ship into battle and corrupt’s your account making it unplayable.

Regarding the new Borg cube… This is awful.

Currently, I see no way to get ahead on the loot without a very tedious grind. Hitting larger hostiles means the cutting beam charges faster, but then you can’t use the beam on the same hostiles. The beam can’t destroy them in one hit, so you have to warp elsewhere. Hitting hostiles the same power that the cutting beam can destroy doesn’t charge the beam much, so have to hit several hostiles before you can fire. I would fill my cargo with dropped parsteel and whatnot before I could get more than 2 wins with a cutting beam, requiring a trip back to base! The beam won’t be useful in pvp because it has to be charged first! Unless you’ve spent a lot to upgrade it, it will be destroyed before you could fire it and hitting hostiles elsewhere and then bringing it into a pvp fight isn’t feasible.

This cutting beam should be charged leaving the dock and should have a cool down timer. Then this might be tolerable. Otherwise, I can’t see myself devoting the amount of time necessary to get this ship to a useful point for me (ops 56). I definitely won’t spend money on it.

I am curious if you skip a set of ships can you still tier up the cube if you get the ships past that. For example if you skip the g5 epics and go straight to g6 uncommon. The epics at each level have 2 cube tiers associated with them currently. This applies at other levels to those that skip some of the uncommons, rares, and epics.

It’s a somewhat unknown question. When you build the cube it gives you everything as far as the one off parts for the highest ship grade and tier that applies. But no word on what happens if you build it with a g4 rare as your best applicable unlock for the cube, and then skip the g4 epics for a g5 uncommon, or even what happens if you have a g5 uncommon at t5 and no g4 epics when you build the cube.

new glitch, I'm level 39 going on 40 but i get message stating I must upgrade my operations to level 3 to collect dailies. I can do them but not collet my reward crates. and this is on top of not being able to do any Holodeck missions. This is getting worse, not better.

Used to like this game. Now there are too many bugs. My ship scrapping is out of whack. I tried to do my daily goals. It told me I had to be at lvl 3 to unlock daily goals. I'm at lvl 27. Been trying to get to level 28 (operations) for over a week now. They keep telling me requirements not met. Nice try but the game won't go anywhere but the recycle bin now.

Thanks you scopley losers, today you made me angry enough to tell my alliance to boot and drain my (ops41)almost 2yr account with lots of my time and hard earned cash wasted. Its so bad, myself and others cant even collect our daily milestones, ships get stuck repeatedly, freezing, etc etc. You know these issues exist, but hey lets dangle a free ship out there to appease those most upset. That also is messed up, not one player on 90 can collect "any" holodeck missions let alone the newest ones for the current Arc. Good luck suckers youll not get another minute or dollar out of this dedicated player.
