Scopely have had feedback on server-wide pvp events several times now, but keep on rolling out new ones. There is now clear intent to annoy the customer base. Designate a pvp system for each level bracket, like in incursions, but in lower-level systems to reduce the warp time

Drip feeding the first 5 parts of the missions over 2 and a half weeks only to release the second 5 parts all at once with 5 days remaining? What was the point? Should have just released them all at the beginning like previously. Or drop first 5 at the beginning and the second 5 half way through the arc. This just looks like things weren’t fully thought through, you ran out of time, and suddenly realized “Oh 💩. The arc is almost over. Better release the other parts of the mission.” 🤦‍♂️ At this point, I don’t even remember what the mission is even about.

Unfortunately, the changes doesn't really cover a lot of the issues Voyager has earlier in the cycle. Getting to be able to pull doubles of everything but the Hirogen is still extremely difficult. The cargo hold of T1-T3 Voyager is way too small and you can't get tokens fast enough to matter. The cooldowns on the uncommon and rare anomaly chests is way too long. I can only get 1 token every 3 days at the moment, but I can't mine enough anomalies to actually do more than a single pull if I'm lucky. Just feels like a very unrewarding loop because you don't really feel like you're making progress on something you have to do daily. I'm OPS 46 and my Voyager is T2. If I roll poorly on upgrade components in the loot boxes, it might take me another week to get what I need for one component. Helping T4-12 is great, but getting to T4 is a chore.

I had some more thoughts regarding Voyager. The biggest problem is the availability of tokens for the anomaly resource. At T1, your cargo is 10-11k depending on research. Mine at T2 is around 53k. If I use a token to mine, I bring a cargo crew and get to approximately 75k. I need 125k on rare anomalies for a single pull. I need another ~35k for the uncommon anomalies. So to get enough tokens to be able to do a single pull every week, I'd need to do three pulls of the 8472 loot exchange. With a cooldown of 3 days and barely being able to get enough biotoxins to do two pulls a week, it means I can't get everything I need.

Things I'd change:

1. Increase Voyager cargo hold or decrease the costs for the exchanges for T1-3
2. Increase the number of times we can call 8472 by 1 per day or increase the loot from the summonable 8472.
3. Decrease cooldowns of the boxes

@nova sierra its the second time this event has rolled up, if you payed upfront you would of done the first event. and this is why its 'rewarding' for those that adopt early. see the payout? if you r2-3 in both events, its more than a 99.99 iso pack gives you, so you get the ship or pack for free (depending on your point of view). and that can appeal to spenders.

If you already have 8 or more standard TW tokens that's all you seem to get in the payout

Not amused with the 119 server merger as is most if not all of the alliances, in addition really frustrating that you have increased pricing by £10 for most packages, as someone who has invested a few thousand into this game, I am very reluctant to make any further purchases as is my alliance members.. 2 thing about the pvp event.

1. If you want to do Burts pvp events, please remember that others play thos game besides the west cost. None of the times were good for east coast players.

2. instead of realta spamming or bade humping, plesse set a specific system aside and only allow ships of a certain level to pvp in them. For instant, level 26 faction ships. 34 epic ships, 42 ships, etc. You can even level band it. You can even create 2 systems. One for those 35+ and one for under.
   Only those specific ship types count towards points. Either kills or damage done. Whales will have an advantage but others, using the triangle and strike teams, will be able to kill them.
   And everyone is on the same terms.

Way past time g4 armada chests get revised [ for the better ] these need to pay way more Rare Armada tactical Cores, or the cost for a pull needs to be reduced. So many roadblocks. So I finally saved up 100 token credits to be able to reach this space.... when I arrived there was nothing but 11mil -ish power... rom/klingon/ect reds, that were assimilated. Killing them gives 3* parts. There's nothing else in this system. When reviewing a battle log for an attack that happened minutes or hours earlier, and if the player has changed their name or alliance, the battle log shows the CURRENT name and/or alliance, not what it was at the time of the attack. It would be helpful in these cases two have to spots for the players names. One spot that will always show up showing what they are now, and another showing what they were at the time of the attack, possibly only showing up if either changed.

It would also be helpful to include a lock button each log so that the locked logs would not expire off the bottom of the battle log as new attacks happen.

-rework assault mechanics and improve incentives to participate

I'm level 42 & grinding level 44 ships for faction dailies. Why am I still getting loot chests with blueprints for 2 star ships like the Tallos & Kumari which I will never use? ***It is always nice that when you write to Scopely and report an error regarding an unfulfilled event, as usual there are problems with Scopely and you could not complete your task.

So I had to learn again that the client has deposited the task as completed and as expected, the next day the task was again only half solved. Already the 3rd time happened.

Thereupon I contacted the support and as a solution I only get again: "In the LOGS it says that this was completed only so far".

Of course it can't say more if there were network problems again and they are not transmitted. With certainty it was not on my Internet, because I installed here over a HA solution and the Internet was not disturbed. Other clients in the network worked and also the ping from the affected PC worked without dropouts!

As a solution comes only, we should run their troubleshooting different things, how many times should you do this a day. I clean the cache, reset the localization, can not reinstall the PC client every day. Just because Scopely give out half-finished updates.

Maybe you should buy some programmers and test the whole thing on test servers. You also want money for your additional services, which are much too expensive for the scope!

Hope times that also comes to the right places and takes care of your players who run away from you, see server consolidation.***

As a gamer I don’t mind spending from time to time on games I like and enjoy. Though those are two factors for me spending the main ones are cost and value. I’ve never played a game where things I should be able to get in game are only available by buying tell I started playing stfc .nor one th spurs such high pricing on small short coding. You can actually achieve more sells at $5 then you can at $100 , most people are willing to pay $5 on daily and weekly basis then $100 a month . Also instant tab that doesn’t work when you have all materials resources and latnium needed and free que is a worthless feature. I’ve had many times free que and everything needed to do instant build and I could never use it for it is always greyed out useless. You advertise fair play but your not since many things free to play can’t get and then whales can hit 11 lvls below them with ships that no one 11 lvls below can compete with. Lvl 52 shouldn’t be able to hit lvl41 . That kind of gaming promotes bullying.

Hello, my feedback, I have made many in app purchases in this game and found no problem, until today, I purchased the battle pass to claim the rewards, to upgrade my ship, as I was in a good fight with another player, the battle pass didn't come like all other purchases,
So I reach out to scopley only for the bot to say they are busy and thus may take 72hr, the battle pass is over in 2 days
So I reached out to Google who said restart the game, I did this for Google then say restart you device I did this still no battle pass,
They said they will look to give me a refund, and within seconds gave me a refund, only to log on to my game and find the battle pass in my face,
I have not accepted the battle pass, and feel bad that I've involved Google, for somthing that sorted it self out in an hour, but now I am not confident in buying anything in the game,

Would have been fun if everything didn't bog down into a pixelated lag fest that crashed the game every minute and a half, about 10 seconds after the NME showed up. I don't care about pack prices, or new features that are released with bugs, or the poor roll out of arcs, or many of the other issues that folks complain about. But for the LOVE OF GOD, pull your head out of our arses, take a break from rolling new things to buy....AND WORK ON FIXING THE ISSUES THAT AFFECT FOLKS ABILITY TO PLAY. Same here. Game lost connection 8 times in less than 15 minutes. I can't hit more than 1 or 2 hostiles before crashing again. Force closed and cleared cache, no change. Server 22 here

level 1 blaster. yes he triggered several times. I should get 1% and I'm sure I tested with when I first got the blaster and it worked. now I get No iso damage. I went 29 rounds with a heavy transport. no iso damage for any round.

Please increase the appaling spawn rate of the rare anomaly nodes. I've just spent 8 9 tokens to mine 19 22 common nodes...without a single rare node resetting. This is ridiculous. What has been an environment free of partiality or politics has now done so with this event. If this is going to happen then you have to do it out of fairness to any and all whom would request such a thing regardless of feelings toward such. Where is the BLM representation, MAGA (in America) or another, something against Pan-Asian hate, human trafficking... where does this end or how far does it go. This has been a game for nearly 5 years that has been neutral to the world as Trek in & of itself embodies the ideals of the entirety of all diversities and that is defaultly understood by most any fan of this franchise. Singling out now after all this time has opened a potential Pandoras Box for some. I take no side and also acknowledge that Scopely & it's parent are a private entity allowed to do whatever they so choose & the players will decide to support based on their $$ and their continued gameplay. First of all MAGA is not a marginalized minority group and doesn't need something like this. Maga is a political entity made up of people of many different races , backgrounds, religions, sexual orientations, genders, etc. it in no way shape or form is a marginalized group.

Also Paramount officially released pride versions of these earlier this month. It's not just the developers that came out with a pride IDIC.

Human trafficking is an issue, but that is not a marginalized minority group as human trafficking can happen to anyone of all races, and orientations, and genders.

LGBT People are jailed, tortured, and killed, and discriminated all around the world just for who they are. So why is it a problem that a company is taking some time out to support them? Who knows? They may decide to support other people/groups around the world over time.

It's only a Pandora's box because people are freaking out over something they can simply allow to collect dust and their inventory and not use it.

First party stores like Apple iOS and Google Play update from time to time the regional prices due to inflation, currency exchange rates etc...

In order to maintain parity across all of our platforms, the web store also changes periodically to match these price changes. That being said, the web store should not be more expensive in any region than any of other platforms on mobile and if it is the case then please let us know.

Google/Apple already increased their prices for all purchases (not only stfc ofc) more than half a year ago
Scopely had the edge of not being greedy with VAT and a flat 20% price increase.
Packs which already were too expensive turned more expensive and for what?

Scopely's pushing a lot of non mega-spending whales into not spending at all with this change
The currency exchange rate for Euro barely changed (it's now the same as it was half a year ago) and inflation is lower than it was more than half a year ago or even a year ago
The Pound Sterling has only become stronger versus the Dollar in the last year and still the packs in the UK became more expensive too

Pure greed if you ask me
I won't be spending anymore and I know there's many in my alliance with the same idea.
All Scopely does is devalue their packs so people keep on spending more and more

If you are interpreting the bottom line as this that is a bit of a reach "inorder to maintain parity across all of our platforms" does not say that. $coeply have shown no lack of professionalism recently blaming Amazon for everything I am sure if it was purely Apple/Google they'd have no problem throwing them under the bus. To be honest with I think that statement is the nail on the head and the most truthful thing said it was purely about they noticed their bottom line on those platforms dropped and I would presume substantially for them to make such a change.

So as the items were different products I am not sure that is applicable to Apples and GooglePlays ToS with $copely.

The trouble with all of this and recent times has had an impact on trust from community towards $copely and the Community managers especially when Eco appears on Rev's stream and says “we've let the community down over the last months and we must do better” and then straight after a price hike and he goes further into hiding playing Wheres Waldo but he's cheating as he's not even in the picture

I believe what spenders are actually asking is to give us a choice in webstore. Either let me pay in my regional currency, or let me pay in USD. In that case my bank would be doing the conversion if I use non-USD account (or I can just create USD account, that is possible in most of Europe, and I could use it exclusively for STFC). If Xsolla messes up with regional prices (like 99€ and 59€ instead of 49€, so buying 2 packs with 50 blueprints for ship is 119€ instead of 99€ that would cost the 100 blueprints pack) we can just switch to USD temporarily. If Sterling gets stronger - so it costs less sterling to buy 100 USD if you go to bank and exchange the currency - then again we could temporarily pay in USD and let our bank do the conversions.

If you cannot negotiate such a thing (which is obviously not as profitable for Xsolla as it seems they pay the same amount of money to Scopely, but by increasing the regional pack prices they keep more money for themselves) then you have lost a huge segment of paying players. So no one gets anything. Especially since the price disparity between "half" pack and "full" pack now, where in past - and currently in USD packs - the content inside was often priced as full unlock, like 100 blueprints of ship in 99 pack and half unlock, like 50 blueprints of ship for 49 pack. Now this is no longer true for most of the Europe packs, so half packs make no sense at all for us anymore. So it is now either buy the full ship unlock day one, or wait until it is FTP sourced.

And yes, I only mention Xsolla webstore there, as that can be used by anyone, but Google/Apple are limited to certain segments of players who play on mobile phone that uses specific brand. Plus those might be much harder to negotiate with and probably would take much longer to reach some agreement.

Because, if I choose to pay 100 USD, my bank does the conversion, so my account would go down by something like 80? GBP and Xsolla would receive 100 USD. Well the UK isn't governed by EU law and our mobile phones are not subscription service they are contracts that you are locked into for a period of time there was a time that inside that period the price did not go up but companies changed that so yes they had to notify you prior it. Our electric and gas was communicated that that there was a price hike coming and we given a lengthy warning of that. Last time I had a subscription to a magazine they wrote to me telling me the price was going to rise and I had a choice to cancel or pay the price increase and contract option is to buy yourself out of it they a two completely different things. You seem happy with the way you are treated by $copely and thats fine but others are not I am one out of hundreds here complaining out how they have treated this situation perhaps trolling people with that opinion isn't the right thing to do and we shouldn't do the same as we are all entitled to our own opinions. To reach rank 5 of the new researches there are two different offer groups:
Group 1, the heavy/frequent spenders, are offered a $100 pack with 1800 Dolomide that can get you to rank 5.
Group 2, the sub ops41/f2p/light/infrequent spenders, are offered a pack series of $5, $20, $20, $50, $50 that will get you to rank 5.
Packs are $100 a rank for both groups after they're at rank 5.

OP seems to be missing the combo pack and was instead offered the rank 6 one. I'd suspect there's an issue of leveling near the combo pack offer availability breakpoint. Contacting CS might be the only option, but I'm not sure how great of a solution you'll get there.

I really don't see what's the big mystery here... there is two prime researches, both using the same dolamide particles... ship parts and ship engineering... you BOUGHT the ship parts a number of times... but then went and did the ship engineering research... the shop doesn't know or care what stage your research actually has in the game... it only counts how often you already bought which pack and then offers you the follow up pack next for that one. So up to now you bought the pack for ship parts 5 times but done ship engineering research to stage 4.... which means your ship parts research is still at ZERO... and now you are wondering that the one pack for stage 6 doesn't get you all the way to 6 but only to stage 4 of the CORRECT research that you are looking at for the first time as it seems - after your "misplaced" the particles of the first few packs you got (intended for this research) by doing the "wrong" one?? xD... jesus just by the low tier packs of the other reserach (engineering) and flip them over and catch up on ship parts till they are even...

Ok, here's some feedback about the Amalgam. I personally love that ship. It's great for raiding and has a long warp range. All in all it's a fantatic ship.

But the refinery has issues. I've had the Amalgam long before I have my Enterprise or D4 and now my Amalgram is nearly maxed. I'm also ops 42 so that tracks about right. The payout in ship parts from the refinery seems to be decent. However the ship skin trackers? Not so much. I gave up trying to get the skin for either the Enterprise or D4 even though I want them and it would improve my gameplay. 7200 tracker shards to unlock either. I'm about to build my K'Ting'A which means my Ent and D4 are about to be mostly shelved. I was able to unlock the Plasma Blast projectile at a cost of 3600 trackershard just recently, so that is nice. But overall, the refinery simply doesn't pay out enough tracker shards to be particularly useful.

I have a suggestion for the next arc or the one after that. Instead of trying to keep creating new content and pushing new stuff and new grinds, how about a catch-up quarter. Basically a 3 month event store arc. Allow players to get ship bp, officer shards, parts, etc. And open it up to ALL officers. ALL ships they can build or will build next. ALL ship parts. And allow players to actually upgrade and tier up officers, not just save up for 1 epic unlock. Allow players to max a rare, get a couple tiers of an epic. Get ALL the bp for a rare ship, half for an epic, completely unlock a couple uncommons.

This will drastically improve the game play for ALL players. It will allow them to get rare/impossible to source officers/parts/etc. It will be refreshing to not have to fight and scrimp and save for the next thing.

You can still have slb but instead if an officer unlock, the winners can get even more event credits!

We need a breather and catchup time period. We need to make the grinds less. You helped some of the grinds but added so many more that take up even more time. This will help. And with the influx of new ships and officers, it will make overall gameplay better.

I like this idea but perhaps not a 3 month long thing. I think maybe once a year in December Scopley just runs a Christmas like event with a mega event store. All officers, all ships (appropriate to their level), projectile shards, ship skins, etc. Have everything available in the event store while the development team takes the month to rework parts of the game that is lacking or fixing bugs.

Only reason I say 3 months is there is ALOT for players to unlock/upgrade. 1 month wouldn't be enough unless they gave an INSANE amount of event credits. And except for the whales, who doesn't need additional shards/parts/ships?

But now we have the freebooters daily and the voyager grind circle! I still have to travel to level 50 faction systems to do my faction dailies because the capital systems only go to 49.

So what have they lessened? What grind has been removed besides the potential of swarms?

Yeah, I got the cloaking too and was cheaper the the projectile. So that means with the projectile I got I still haven't gotten enough tracker shards to unlock the ship skin. It's crazy how long it is designed to take to get those skins. LIke litteraly long enough to where the ship is obsolete before you can get it.

Anyone who does well in this game grinds a LOT. I am l45 and working on my 3rd 1B lock and expect to have all 3 46 ships as soon as I level up. When it showed up in my gifts, I honestly thought it was because I had hit the faction lock point to get it since my 3rd lock 46 ship showed up in away teams at the same time. Depends on the design of the officer. If they only work on armadas then no. But to work on reds and aramadas but not yellows just feels like the designers forget that yellows exists. Which wouldn't be the first time the designers forgot something existing in game or how it works (Gaila for instance).

Upon reset, and the start of the incursion event, give all players a 24 hour peace shield. Then those that will participate will be active and pop their bubble while the other bases can be shielded.

1: There is too much focus on base raiding - which I personally really don't like. I'm not alone, almost everyone on my server hates it

2: There is no balance at all in the PvP. You constantly see 50+ players attacking small ships with their 200 million strength ships. Is this PvP?, it's not at all.. this is just ruining the game for other players in the game

There needs to be a lot less focus on raiding. And PvP should be made fairer so that it comes to a reasonable balance. As it is now, for a small part it can probably be a lot of fun. It's not fun for most players..

So, I've been playing STFC since about a week after it launched in 2018. Today is my last day.
Layering more and more things to grind for on players, creating more and more in-game currencies; it's become so exhausting. The developers have sucked all the fun out of it. Sure, they introduced the freeboters to cut down on some of the "old" grind. But they did that so they could introduce five times as much new stuff to grind for that takes ten times as long. We didn't need formation armadas, on top of solo borg armadas, and Solo Dominion armadas, and regular borg armadas, and Eclipse armadas, and cardassian armadas, and FKR armadas, each with three varieties of directives to collect. We didn't need to have to collect shards to unlock artifacts; we didn't need another new type of hostile to hunt for Voyager. And it won't stop! It's clear that this is their content model and has been for a long time. It makes the game like a job. It's no fun.
I'm out. I'm done. I wasn't a big spender but I bought the Elite battlepass every month. No more of my money or time is going to this game.
Wake up, Scopely. You're killing your game.

It says for silver scar part 2 you need to go to Nygea, but the mission itself sends you to tugaash, witch is impossible to get to as the path is locked. Ridiculous, with all the money we pay these kind of mistakes are a joke 🤬🤬🤬 in Nygea there is no mission to start ffs

All of the other bajoran bundles reset too. As I was able to claim them and they shouldnt have been due for me until this evening. Probably part of a wider change to the bajoran faction. Rep hasnt appeared in any other place yet but doesnt mean that it wont. Likely something to do with the new research.
