Often I will complain on this channel(and often on support) but this time need to send few good comments.
About ~12h after reporting I got 1st response from support and was pleasantly surprised that Danny(how he introduced him self) sent me concrete response with direct action to resolve my issue. No unnecessary questions or foolish conclusions. Few minutes later my problem was resolved so this was very good.

Defiant looks like a very good ship from what I was told by people who already got it. It seems that they are now struggling to find usability in scenarios other then solo armadas. It would be nice if some update or at least research becomes available which will open it's usage in other ways for example like we have with Vidar. Understand the need for f2p wait and need to commend f2p path from day one. 100 days seems like it's going to be a decent test on player patience, so we will see how that plays out.

Also Bajoran faction is overall good addition. Not only from rewards side but also for simplicity of understanding the feature. Options and explanations are on one single screen, and can be easily found. There are eye icons to preview stuff which cannot be claimed(few more can be added on 24h boxes). Since everything is nicely packed on that screen potential for wrong click and big mistake is wide open. Confirmation screen at least on major spending like on latinum would be nice.

I just want to say that I appreciate the reduction in screen time the last two months by way of the event structure. It also feels like effort has been taken towards making events very doable or very heroic. For example the gain power ticketed event today is absolutely ridiculous for one blue officer shard and an easy pass; however, the other two ticketed events are easily doable. Thank you!

Again, they don’t want to care about all that. All they want are people who see an event just out of easy reach and willing to mash the spend button to finish it. Everything else doesn’t matter. Learn that and you’ll be free.

A good company figures out how to monetize a player base like this. If you can get someone who’s free to play to spend 5$/month instead, thats 5$/month you just earned from every player who fits that bill.

There’s nothing wrong with pricing things to extract crazy amounts of money from whales who will pay it. Those $50,000 shoes and $500,000 cars exist for a reason. But a good company will make products that target that group, and then also go after those who spend $40 and $5,000 on shoes and transportation. It doesn’t have to be one or the other.

Scopely is not winning the game of capitalism here. A real winning company would sell to the whales and also to someone like me. Earn on all fronts.

I just checked, and between mobile games and Steam/Epic/GOG I’ve spent close to $2,000 this year on gaming. Of that, Scopley got two $27 battle passes early this year. Stfc is still the game I play the most. You don’t need to be an experienced market analyst to see what is being left on the table.

They seem to think creating an appealing product for players like me to spend money on means losing money on the whales, and that is just so short-sighted, backwards and ignorant. Your free and low spending players are not your enemy Scopely. Some of them are your future whales, and the rest are a big potential earning segment you just leave on the table arc after arc.

Regarding the defiant availability…For my faction level it takes 495k uncommon to get 1 (and change) pull…which is 10ish 35 solo armada’s or 5 40’s (which smoke me)…it’s quite deflating. In the end, for a dolphin to have 0 epic strike team crew, no mantis, no defiant and no reasonable path to them while actively playing all the events in the game is such a cognitive design dissonance that the one questions the desire for scopely to actually access them at all…or to keep their players…at all.

They don't offer scaled packs in the store, at all. The lower priced £17.99 packs (or less) are rubbish and certainly not even close to 1/5 of the full priced packs. Rather than motivating us to buy full price packs we just don't buy anything. Crazy.

It really is crazy. I'm an active spender in the world of video games. I make decent money and spend a fair chunk of my disposable income on my #1 hobby, and they really just laugh at that amount as too small for them to go after. Despite the fact that 50-80% of their player base is just like me. How hard can it really be to design new arcs that appeal to both the whales and players like us? Most other video game companies would be thrilled at regular customers that spend $20-50/month on their product. Look what Netflix does to earn just $15/month. But here, that gets us 20% of one new officer and a feeling of being left out and not good enough. Crazy. 😂

Dear scopely. I know this is going to go mostly to def ears but it needs be say'd. As majority like likes new contest, its good to have. But past few months how ever, its been coming hard to get all the contect for f2p players.

Like the mantis, its a hard grind ship to get higher levels. As for my play style, i like to do everything possible daily. But its started to be too much of a work even a hardcore player like my self. I tropped some activity cause i don't have the time for them anymore.

Now with the real life challenges and game getting in more work then fun direction. We have lost allot of our alliance players since they just stopped playing completely. They just got sick for the too much grinding stuff and pay'd to get stuff.

But not all is negative, the new bajoran faction has allot of cool stuff, but its grind thing as well. In all, the bajoran store and missions has been the best in ds9 arc, everything else has been badly implemented. With those i mean the bugs, event mistakes and not hearing the community. I know you need to make the money, but with these action you kill the game in the long run no matter what content you add.

Lastly a comment for the current spend event. Its completely this kind of event ticks people off and think of playing other games or leaving all togetter. I manage to complete it this time since i been saving. But if we got 2 more like this coming, no way i or majority here can complete it second or 3th time. Lower the points needed for it allot.

Once again here's my wish list of changes I'd like to see!

Rework G4 armada chests; reduce costs or improve payouts.
Add Raw Material refinery efficiency; either add to refinery building or add new research.
Add ability to set default preference to refineries and chest claims; add "refine all" and "claim all" respectively.
Rework hostile loot chest tables (I.E. Remove 3* common bps from many loot pools).
Add functionality to Double-click docks to instantly locate its respective ship.
Move "home" button by the system/galaxy and interior/exterior buttons; give exocomps its own line and display timer for when next buff expires.
Add functionality to hide items in faction stores.
Standardize officer ability descriptions.
Improve many menu UI so that it has more grids and less horizontal scrolling.

You need to rapidly introduce a new sourcing mechanism for these credits to support all of these new officers you have added. And to be abundantly clear, a new prime that everyone has to pay for just to play the game is NOT the solution we need.

And, on that note, you have introduced Discovery, TOS, TNG, DS9, and Lower decks that all require Federation credits and have not addressed that sourcing either to support all of those officers.

Yes I do keep saying it because the game already has too many grinds and the Threat from beyond event after you get the Franklin-A is incredibly harsh. Before the Franklin-A, Threat from Beyond was 50% more than your dailies. After you get the Franklin-A it's approximately 4.5 times your dailies but without an increase in rewards. Increasing the scoring to be x3 for using the Franklin-A would put the event grind back to being 50% of your dailies.

Wrong area of focus IMO, the grinds that achieve nothing in anything other than progress (rogue/Borg etc) are where the game picks up it’s grindiness, but all I can ask is you stop repeating the same thing again and again and again and again. It’s starting to feel “spammy”.

You mistake feedback for guaranteed changes. The event needs an overhaul, but irritating people isn’t the way to achieve it and for the most part it’s the rewards (or lack of) people have issue with. Note your feedback has been seen and the time spend here asking you not to say the same thing repeatedly is time that can’t be spent more productively…

Well when you have alliances that use that as a reason to boot a member, it could be impactful. Also where is the iso that is being refined going? Is it going to their current alliance or their previous one. It seems that our alliance isnt receiving the pulls, as our items are dwindling at an alarming rate. Especially with 85 members that refine daily.

That is not the case. I keep tags on who is refining and who is not. About 2 months ago, everything stopped working. We have gained 10-15 new members and their names are not even listed. The alloys are what I’m discussing. Everything is broken. So for it to be a low priority. Where is everything going. I am boycotting the Recruit Weyoun SMS Heroic for the next two cycles and I will explain why.

First of all, 4.05 mil points is insane. That is 40,500 3*/4* uncommon mats. Or 27,000 rare mats. Most players are not spending epics or 5*. In reality, it is about 30,000 uncommon and 7000 rare.

And out of that, what do we get? 8 Weyoun shards and 2360 Legate's Decree. The 2360 Legate's decree can be exchanged for 8 Doninion Diplomat Recruit chests. That is 10 shards. 50% epic and 50% rare. 8 epic officers and 10 rares. 3* chance of getting Weyoun. So, there is a 12.5% chance of getting each epic (so Weyoun has a 37.5% per epic shard pull which should be 5 shards) and every other epic is ~9% chance. If you complete the entire Heroic spend, you get 8 chests. 80 shards. 40 should be epic and 40 rare. Out of the 40 rare, you should average 15 Weyoun shards.

If a player did all 3 heroics, he would get 24 weyon shards from the Heroic (8 shards per) and 45 from chests pulls (15 per 8 chest pulls) for 69 shards. Leaving you 41 more left.

Now, people argue that Dukat is in there too...you are correct. And you should get 10 shards of him for it all.

Even at 70 shards, that leaves 30 shards left. I did the max pulls I could for dukat and I have 67 shards (same possibilities as last month). I will need another 4 months (on average) to finish him up. So weyoun would be the same if everything else held. 5 months to get him.

And the cost. 121,500 uncommon mats. For the first 70 shards and then 12,000 mats per additional shard. This is all assuming you can SAVE UP 120,000 mats a month to begin with.

I WILL NOT SPEND ANY MORE ON THE WEYOUN HEROIC RECRUIT SMS. IT IS NOT WORTH IT.

As the one that does all the paperwork for our alliance. I know who does and does do things. Got a spreadsheet and everything. 2 months ago everything stopped working. I’m just asking when things are going to be fix? If the name isn’t in our leadership board, where’s the iso and cores etc going since it isn’t coming to our alliance? We even have a few new guys that can’t even access the territory inventory. We are the 2nd highest alliance in our server. This is what is frustrating.

The same Weyoun that the crazy mat spend board gave me a whopping 16 total shards yesterday (8 from event, 8 from rng).

It’s an alliance event. An alliance of 75 needs 10 PvP kills or 100 PvE kills per player. That’s manageable over 2 days.

Every server lvl 38 actian system has 2 hostiles. Been that way since release. Actian loop taking longer because I can't take advantage of buffs from the system since only 1 explorer and 1 Apex spawn. Stuck in lvl 37 system, and would be in lvl 38 system if it was like the rest

These last few months have turned me into a free to play player.
The officer sourcing is terrible to engage with. Whether a player spends or doesn't, having them cross their fingers and hope the gatcha machine pays out is a pathetic and lazy design. Plain, and simple.
Compound that with the myriad of other issues that have plagued the last few months (mantis hostiles, time walls, paywalls, reduced event payout, stale events, poor event design, poor officer sourcing, coding/quality issues, etc.) and the reality is that for most players the last few months has been somewhere between failure and subpar, and thus far this month, but more specifically DS9, is serving to highlight that no matter how much I spend, no matter how much I grind, no matter how much I play, it will never be enough. We can debate in this channel and others some of the design choices that have brought us to this point re events, officers, etc. all we want. This arc has shown, without question, Scopely doesn't care. If you are continuing to spend and expecting change, you should look up the definition of insanity.
I'm not ready to stop playing, but as a 39 staring down the barrel of 40.+ I have no desire to "just keep going." I'll likely be done when I run out of stockpiled resources/mats but until I escape I'm just along for the ride, lord knows Scopely doesn't care...thanks for reading my rant LLAP🖖

This game pulls in more than multi-year supported AAA titles that charge at most $30 for new content every 3-4 months.

So let me help you understand how a company works, because it’s evident you don’t own one. First, you post jobs. Those jobs get assigned a value. If you can’t hire someone for that value you raise the amount until you get to the point you can fill your workforce.

Lastly, complaining on how much a company makes is sort of like complaining that you’re not making enough money and then just do nothing but complain about it.

But you can do something. 1) Tell your boss you want to earn more. 2) If 1 is a no, then find another job. - Same thing for this game. 1) Either you pay what they ask you to pay 2) or stop spending and switch to FTP. Or even better, go find another game. Either way problems are solved in both cases. I think you all and the playerbase (or at least in my experience) have vastly different definitions of "scheduled." For most games, "scheduled" maint is told to the players more than 1 hour before it happens. Maint with 1 hour notice = emergency maint. At least in literally every other game I've ever played. Again, I think this game could use more than 1 scheduled maint a month. It needs it. Just give us an actual heads up.

I think the 7 day and 30 day loyalty chest rewards need to be updated adding in new rewards to correspond to the new game changes. Same with the armada rewards and armada directives . The armada directives should all be done like the swarms , borg , solo , and doomsday worms. It’s bs that fed/rom/ Klingon, scavengers, cardassin, haven, pirate all use the exact same armada directives and you only get 15 uncommon from daily goals and can only get once every 5 days 100 from alliance store if you have the alliance credits which you get a pissaunt amount from completing daily goals and none from doing your alliance donations which all members should do but many tend not to unless In a hurry to complete the daily goals. An incentive to donate to one’s alliance is greatly needed. So many other things could of been added instead of a building that does the exact same thing so what it gives a few bonuses that hanger didn’t it is still the exact same building and function which makes it a stupid worthless building

I’m an Apple user. If I make a purchase through the Apple App Store and I am either dissatisfied with what I purchased or I don’t get what I purchased there is functionality through the App Store to get a refund. I think with the Apple App Store you can only go back as far as 90 days so you have a limited window to get that refund, but it can be done.

Last month I made a double purchase of the cheaper battlepass unlock due to this games bugs and lag failing to provide a timely confirmation that the purchase I made had gone through (Once you buy one of the battle pass items both are supposed to disappear from your in-game store, mine didn’t do that or give me the confirmation pop up that my purchase was complete), so I was able to go back and get a refund on one of them because I didn’t need two.

When it comes to digital content such as games or in game purchases you will get warned that you may lose the content you purchased by going forward with the refund, but it sounds like you’re probably not going to miss it if you lose it.

I would think Google or other app stores have a similar functionality, they just may not make it easy to find.

Scope we made a bonehead move when they removed the cloaking ability from the separatist D3. I've used that ability several times myself only to find recently scopely has eliminated it. Extremely disappointing scopely unfair and dissatisfying player experience!

You can go into either your App Store or your account settings for your device and find your purchase history, and from there you should be able to figure out how to get a refund on a purchase that you’ve made.

Just found out the last update removed the cloak from the separatist d3. Pretty disappointed. I mean sure the d3 has been way too small for a long time now but I enjoyed the prospect of sneaking around in an exotic red. Might not have got the blueprints from the event stores if I knew they’d remove it later. Not that one person’s opinion is a huge deal but I’d like to see it put back. Now it’s just a hijacked ship but red. Kinda lost its appeal.

Also I never got all of the original free weapon refits that do nothing. I was taking a break from the game the first time they were handed out. I would enjoy another event. I’ve been wanting to get the fusion beam and ionic disruptors to finish the collection.

• The ability lasts 1-1/2 hours.
• North Stars fill their small cargo in 15-20 minutes.
• When you dock the automated defense ability ends and you have a 1/2 hour cooldown, so you can't continue to use it.
• If you think you are going to use it to trap people, you won't, it has a giant shield emblem.

MY FEEDBACK (for a feedback channel): The 1-1/2 hour ability needs to continue after docking your cargo in a North Star because it has such small cargo size.

but if they choose to still go with this inflation of currencies, than something like a "special buildings stuff" chest, that put together the diodes and nadions could work too, with the plan to put there all other future special building currencies (also old one for the exocomp building and armada control center if they choose to change their sourcing method)

orbs and tetryons should go in the refinery support tab, like the mycelium and irvinite, alongside whatever is needed for the mantis and defiant abilities, to have all the stuff that is used to activate abilities in the same place, having a singular chest that include all of them might be difficult because the amount received can depend on the tier of the ship, other than op level, but if possible it would be really appreciated (and it can be placed in the gift section or still in the refinery support tab)

I remember when PvZ2 first introduced their Battlez. Suddenly, each plant could be updated to become more powerful, so you had to grind for what were new in-game currencies. I continued to playe for a few months to keep up with the Jones’s, and eventually realized that the game has become an infinite ladder you could never fully climb. The joy of shooting peas to kill zombies evaporated, as what was left was just a p2w/grind mill. I think Star Trek Bleat Command has 100x more pay-walls and time-gates than PvZ2, with effectively no game play other than mostly adults playing hide-and-seek across a 2-D map and pretending to be important in AC and GC. My feedback? Build actual game play.

That's understandable if you've had poor experience with the chatbot in the past. I tend to use email since I like a paper trail, and am very familiar with how it works. That said, I've used the chatbot recently and the response, to an easy issue, was fast and a ticket number was generated immediately after I finished the initial chatbot interaction so there are some plusses to the system.

You should still contact a CM with the ticket number of your improperly closed ticket.

Anyone else find that the moblie app (android for me) burns the icons into the screen insanely fast? I just had my 8 month old Galaxy S22 screen replaced (under warranty thankfully) as STFC had basically burnt permanent marks onto the screen so bad that was getting unuseable, and within 8 hours I can see it starting to happen again, I dont use the phone at full brightness or dont allow it to get too hot.

As a msdoss programmer and cad draftsman I do understand how complicated it is . I’ve learnt some of the new programming , even trying my hand at learning the gaming programming programs. How writing code can be complex and complicated since it all has to work well together and one wrong code can cause loads of problems. It’s why it’s extremely important to take time to get things working right rather then rushing it like a McDonald’s drive through order. Everyone knows how you tend to get screwed at the drive through with wrong orders do to their rushing . Same thing with coding. Back in the day when I learnt msdoss I created a pc virus that wiped classes grades by accident just by typing a few keys wrong in the code I was doing. So yes I understand completely scopley how hard coding can be, but I also know that nowadays there is a lot of copy paste codes that are used to make coding easier. Where in the old days you had to write every code and test them before releasing them. Updates shouldn’t break the game, test things more before releasing them . Also do something about all the old codes that are in the game that no longer are in use.

I think part of scopley coding issues is they created loads of different currencies and events that are no longer used but many still have those old unusable currencies. I think best thing scopley could do is do an exchange for all those then after a time of people exchanging those old currencies and tokens for things that have been cancelled remove the remaining bit. I have over 1.5billion Tribble’s currencies I could never spend when that Tribble’s event existed due to the store never being open for me. Which I reported at the time for no availment . These old currencies are attached to old programs that are no longer being used . To get rid of these would most likely help solve some of the reoccurring issues since these are connected to what’s now ghost programs. Which are programs deleted but not fully gone do to other programs being attached to them. A currency exchange would help players that have tons of these worthless currencies as well as help scopley work on cleaning up old programs.

I know that this has been proposed before (CosminCiuc in 2018, Commodore Al in 2021, and DopedGoat in 2021), however, I will propose again that Scopely add a new game feature to allow people in the same alliance to share resources including ships, crew members, materials, etc. Now that the Alliance Starbase exists, that could be used to allow alliance members to dock and trade resources with each other. Other MMO games do this so I have to believe this would improve player retention in game and strengthen the reasons to have alliance ties.

Some weeks ago, all prices (for iOS User) raised by 20%. Scopley Support claimes that Apple had raise their prises and the fun fact is that Apple says exactly the opposit. 🤔

But it is not straight bec Packs with 19€ and 99€ are lift by 20% and Packs for 49€ are still at the same price. 🤔

For me, killing the hostile just makes the popups manageable at once every few minutes, it does stop the rapid popups I get after restarting though. If you don't see this level of effectiveness, I'd suggest trying the other workaround: clear localization.

The concept of first time and today doesn't really apply to me, I run the game essentially 24/7 by leaving the PC on all day. I regularly restart and have the flashing popups, and kill one hostile and wait for the green victory banner, then the popups slow to once every dozen min or so.

Dear scopely. Sorry I haven't had time to play any of the new content, my game time is mainly filled by clearing 10 million pips and now an even more ridiculous toast notification. Yet another fine example of the fact that Scopely couldn't care less about players, it's all about harassing people, reminding them there's packs in the store for various things. Why fix the game when you can still sell crap in the store to the people holding on in hope that one day things might get better?

Use some of the money, buy a competent coder and fix the game. Worst case, go on Fiverr or Freelancer and outsource it, cos whoever you have working on it right now, is not worth the money they're getting paid for it. We don't need pips or toasts to remind us of things, if we want it we will buy it or earn it.

Actually they were needed, the banner is also all in capitals. You try to do anything in the game and the banner in all caps jumps at you every second. I wanted to mirror **exactly that **in my post and communicate the feeling that this banner is giving to me. I guess it worked too well.

Clearing loc can help some players, I find it better to try killing a hostile first. The default error 5 issue can often be avoided if you resync your client: open event store and cash shop, the claim a gift.

As a suggestion, take all the notifications that don't show true numbers and bin them. Then take the remainder and bin them too.

Killing a hostile seems to work for most but others have also said rapidly swiping the notification away seems to solve the constant banner pop up issue.

You will have to do it each time you log in and i realise an actual fix is what we need but it will stop you from going insane whilst you wait.

Some exocomps are very tiny in boost compared to a ship's specialty mining boost. Check your mining rate before using it, then compare to after using it. There'll be a difference, even if small on some ships.

I would like to know the rules by what is decided who is first, second, third etc if all players have reached the same amount of points in a SLB event?
I've previously asked the same question to the support and got the information, that it depends on the order the players reached the same points. So that time I was fine with this response as I've reached the point during the last seconds...
But not this time! As I reached the final score I was fourth in total and there were incl. me three with this points. One of this two players reached place one in total with a lot of more points.
That keeps me second in the list with the same point.
In the final standing there suddenly were four other players with exact this amount of points before me! That wouldn't bother me if that doesn't mean I'm last in total and so as place 11 got less loot out of this event especially less officer parts!
Because of that I contacted the support again and it say "Sorry but the leader board is calculated by different criteria and the results are final!".
What the hack does that mean?
Before the end we look if one of the players bought more stuff in the shop?
There are obviously two objective criteria that could take into account:

1. the order the player reaches the points!
2. the Level of players and here in the order reaching the same points

As all players were the same level, what else could one ask to look for?

I could provide you with the screen shots as I reached the points and after event final ...
