How do i ping a role in a ticket when it is opened
Within all the messages the bot's sends (both embeds and text) you can mention either channels, roles, or even users, these mentions will only send a notification to the user if they are used within a text field, e.g: a role mentioned in an embed won't ping at all the users who have that role.
For mentioning a role you can use one out of three options:
{@Role Name} โ Which is Case Sensitive.
{RoleID} โ Replace RoleId with the Id of the role you are trying to ping.
<@&RoleID> โ Discord's native syntax to ping roles.
<#ChannelID> โ Mention a channel by its ID.
<@UserID> โ Mention a user by its ID.
and put mention to Message Text
The Ticket Message is the first message sent by the bot in a new ticket. To customise it head over to your Dashboard โ Panel Configs โ Settings โ Ticket Options โ Edit Ticket Message

To create a panel we are going to need to head over to the panel configs on the dashboard.

Click Create Panel and your ready to get started with configuring your panel.
An example of a creating a panel is shown below.
Once you've created a panel on the dashboard you will need to send it to a channel using send on the dashboard.
Select the channel you want your panel to be created in and click send.

How do I make two buttons for the create a ticket thing
Multipanels are panels with multiple buttons attached to them.
All users can combine multiple panels into one multipanel!
First, find the IDs of each panel you wish to combine. You can find them in your Panel Configs in the Dashboard
Next, send the multipanel to a channel using $panel [id1] [id2] {id3} ....
e.g. $panel 1 2 4 17 35 to combine panels 1, 2, 4, 17 and 35.
Up to 25 panels may be combined.

For a more convenient use of multipanels, you can now combine panels on the dashboard. This will allow you to directly send the multipanel from the dashboard or via the $panel ID command.

This hasn't been done because such a feature would hit Discord rate limits very easily.
Go ticket by ticket and use the $delete command in each of them instead.

First, you will need to go to the dashboard. Once your there, click on your avatar on the top right. after you clicked it, you will see button that says Logout. You must click that. Once you have logged out, you can log back in.
You need one of these 3 things to access the dashboard.
1. Server Owner (Level: 6)
2. Server Administrator (Level: 4)
3. Dashboard Role (Level: 2)

Yap discord only allows to ping people that can see the channel, so you need to add them to the ticket.

i just want to check before telling my staff its ok to not save the images manually ๐
At the beginning of May 2022, Discord changed the way they store their deleted files, before this update, files could be accessible for up to 30 days after which they would get erased entirely from the Cloudflare cache. Now the files, including images, aren't accessible since they are deleted, which is why premium users [embed up to 8mb](#๐ฃโbot-news message) worth of pictures within transcripts.
In the major update that's being worked on the developer is looking forward to implementing a better solution to this inconvenience in order for images to be saved, at least for a temporal way.

For a more convenient use of multipanels, you can now combine panels on the dashboard. This will allow you to directly send the multipanel from the dashboard or via the $panel ID command.
You can find this setting on the Dashboard -> Panel Configs -> Settings -> General Options
Note: if you're attaching all the panels to a panel called English, don't include English in the attached panels box (If you do this, it will create duplicate)
This will put all buttons from all of your panels on one message. The message is the panel message from the panel you're combining these panels in.

Problem: Error/bug with the first panel. Solved after creating a new panel. The first panel was not working as it should, deleted.
$help limit
A ticket limit may be set per panel to prevent users from spamming tickets. By default this limit is set to 3. Once a user hits this limit the bot will notify the users that they reached the limit.
To set a ticket limit go to the Dashboard -> Panel Configs -> Settings -> General Options -> Ticket Limit

Is it a different error message?
Unlike the regular Ticket Limit, the global limit will limit the amount of tickets a user can create at the same time for ALL Panels. When a ticket is closed again, the limit resets for that user.
To customize it head over to your Dashboard โ Server Configs โ Global Ticket Limit
Note:
This is not a limit for how many tickets a user can open at all times or how many tickets you can have open on the server in total. This is just a limit per user for open tickets.

Within all the messages the bot's sends (both embeds and text) you can mention either channels, roles, or even users, these mentions will only send a notification to the user if they are used within a text field, e.g: a role mentioned in an embed won't ping at all the users who have that role.
For mentioning a role you can use one out of three options:
{@Role Name} โ Which is Case Sensitive.
{RoleID} โ Replace RoleId with the Id of the role you are trying to ping.
<@&RoleID> โ Discord's native syntax to ping roles.
<#ChannelID> โ Mention a channel by its ID.
<@UserID> โ Mention a user by its ID.

Additional Roles are roles that are independent from Support Roles. You can assign unique permissions for roles defined as additional roles in tickets.
To assign permissions for additional roles, go to Dashboard โ Panel Configs โ Settings โ Permission Options โ Additional Opened/Closed Permissions.
Note: Additional Roles do NOT get affected by the Change other support team permissions when claimed feature under Claiming Options, meaning they don't gain/lose any permissions set in that feature once a ticket is claimed.

Question, is there a way to make a ticket ping a role when its created?

Within all the messages the bot's sends (both embeds and text) you can mention either channels, roles, or even users, these mentions will only send a notification to the user if they are used within a text field, e.g: a role mentioned in an embed won't ping at all the users who have that role.
For mentioning a role you can use one out of three options:
{@Role Name} โ Which is Case Sensitive.
{RoleID} โ Replace RoleId with the Id of the role you are trying to ping.
<@&RoleID> โ Discord's native syntax to ping roles.
<#ChannelID> โ Mention a channel by its ID.
<@UserID> โ Mention a user by its ID.

You will possibly need to relog. Look below to see steps on how to relog.
First, you will need to go to the dashboard. Once your there, click on your avatar on the top right. after you clicked it, you will see button that says Logout. You must click that. Once you have logged out, you can log back in.
You need one of these 3 things to access the dashboard.
1. Server Owner (Level: 6)
2. Server Administrator (Level: 4)
3. Dashboard Role (Level: 2)
:warning: You can check your level using $level on your Discord Server
User permission level with Ticket Tool
@User is permission level: 0 (User)

Why did my Ticket Tool bot stop sending closed tickets to my ticket archive category they now leave the ticket in the open ticket section but changes the channel name to closed. I want them to go back to going in my archive
for the information the user needs to provide you can use Ticket Tool's new forms feature
if the archive category has 50 channels in it, then it cannot add more channels to that category

You can set overflow categories for closed category

Discord only allows to stack up to 50 channels per category, meaning that if you have already 50 tickets in one category, the bot won't be able to place a ticket in that category, for such reason Ticket Tool counts with overflow categories, meaning that if your main category is filled, the bot will go ahead and place the ticket on the next one available, simply choose a second category in the category pickers:
Currently, there's no way to move open tickets between categories automatically. You'll need to move it manually and make sure that its permissions don't sync with the other category.
However, this feature is planned to be implemented

depends, if you deny read messages once a ticket is closed, they can't see it unless you send an automatic transcript to the user's DMs

then it's the owner's issue and not yours, they most likely set up permissions incorrectly
wrong, transcript button only creates a copy for your personal view and will be saved into either the ticket itself or into a designated channel, if you want the user to receive a transcript you'll need to get Premium and turn this on:

@proper coral, Multipanels do not require premium.
Please make sure that the bot has the required permissions and permissions (View Channel, Send Messages, Read Message History) for the channel to which you want to send the multipanel.

To disable the premium bot you will have to go to the Dashboard โ Server Configs โ Premium bot โ And on the right-hand side select the primary free bot in the drop down menu.
Premium features will still work on the normal bot.

The first thing you will need to do is invite the premium bot, an invite can be found here
Once the bot is in your server we will head to the dashboard and manage your server. When you are managing your server, you want to head into "Server Configs" then click the drop down menu under "Select the bot you would like to use on this server" then click "Ticket Tool#6207" and then save.

Here you will choose the channel where @humble sequoia would send a copy of the transcript to

Here you will define which channel @humble sequoia will save the Logs in (ticket created/deleted/closed, etc.)
Logs you can save:

Is there a way to see which category a ticket belongs to?
Not really, no.
You'll want to sort them into different channel categories.
$help category
To set a open category go to the Dashboard -> Panel Configs -> Settings -> Category Options -> Category Open
You could also write custom ticket messages for them to tell them apart.
The Ticket Message is the first message sent by the bot in a new ticket. To customise it head over to your Dashboard โ Panel Configs โ Settings โ Ticket Options โ Edit Ticket Message
is there a way to limit a ticket from being opened with roles?
like if someone has a certain role they can open the ticket etc

You can disable roles there. When they press the Create Ticket button, they'll get a message saying they don't have the permissions to do it
