Recently viewed this review of 1.3 and was quite surprised that there are indeed changes to stealth and combat AI. Not big, but notable. After 1.3 came out I have seen so many statements here and there that there aren’t any changes to stealth etc, I can’t believe it wasn’t really accurate.

from what i see, they fixed some of the missions that had stealth included, reworking some of the guards

then they also fixed being unable to perform stealth kills on friendlies while 'seen', and zombies dropping multiple weapons after stealth kills

i didn't make anything, i used what was there to give the current alife a spin (so i mean i didnt write new code or add in cool script kiddie stuff), initially i extended the render range, changed some spawn distances but after 1.1 when render range and spawn distance got taken away from us (without explanation) i shifted my focus on working on what is in the spawn bubble itself and what can happen inside so i moved and rewrote some variable values stuff to create more realistic bubble (so no more fake battles spawning, more patrols, better campfires that are populated etc)

im currently experimenting with setting up different day and night routines for regions with hub based on factions and lore, currently all factions do the same set of stuff during the same 2 time intervals (day and night). im trying to make it so their is difference in schedules and what they can and cant do.
i also made the patrols and alife spawns interactable instead of the "talk to my officer bs" and gave them expanded trade inventories to trade with like anomaly
