The walk will be a real thing. We will probably resort to stashes more often tbh. The world will have alife inconters which will add life to the game. One can feel pretty much occupied most of the time even when traveling. I'll sweep the zone inch by inch if you ask me. I'll find whatever is there to be found and do whatever it's there to do.

CoC was designed to be a base model, without a lot of new frills and add-ons, so that the base CoC could be used as platform for many different Mods. This is what Anomaly and Gamma used to heavily modify their version of a Stalker Mod. However, those that just like the three retail games can enjoy CoC since it adds all the levels of all 3 games, looking like them and not adding much more than the objects or items the Player sees in the retail games. People complain about CoC because they are used to being given a grocery list of what to do and where to go. Some people just don't like the free-play aspect of it, needing more direction. Just my opinion.

As Mods progressed, some people hated Misery (me included) then Call of Misery and then that got replaced by people hating Anomaly (I tried it and wrote a review I might post) and now people hate Gamma. However I totally support people being happy with any of these that I mentioned. The other aspect I didn't like about some members of the Misery team is that they swindled the fan base with their ridiculous items they sold, the main person was a big coke head, that needed money to support his habit. Again, just my opinion.

I usually find Barin dead. One time near the Vehicle Junkyard, at the western end, I found his dropped rifle and nothing else. It was near an anomaly field.

Any NPC hanging around the campfires in Rostok with a unique weapon you want, you can usually just keep an eye on them and make repeated trips, until they spawn dead, and you can grab it. Like Sparrow.

However, none of this works if you are the type of Player that does everything quickly and you finish the game in a month or less. It takes time for all these many things to work in your favor.

It's supposed to be this way to be hard. Accept that and be cautious, slow and deliberate. There is no rush to do anything. Take your time and slow down.

Check your PDA constantly. There is so much information on it and it gets added to as you progress.

I've pushed all the games and found various limitations.

The biggest one most people don't know, is that the retail games will crash once you exceed a certain number of screenshots and/or manual saves.

Their game won't load, they don't know what to do, so they uninstall/re-install their game. All they have to do is empty their screenshot and or saved games folder OUTSIDE of the game folders. Then launch game and it works.

In any stalker game, getting a sniper is an easy w, since guns shoot like dogwater and snipers are the only real point and click instakill type guns
