Коли він вперше проходив Тінь Чорнобиля, він як найшвидше хотів потрапити до Прип'яті бо йому було дуже цікаво, чи можна там розбивати вікна в багатоповерхівках і коли він все-таки дійшов туди, звичайно, вікна розбити не можна було. Він неодноразово розповідав цю історію і коли він дивився ваш новий трейлер в нього знову з'явилося це питання, як і в мене, тож - в другій частині буде можливість розбивати вікна в багатоповерхівках Прип'яті? i just re watched the official world gameplay trailer and i noticed that the player picked up a compass.
in the OG trilogy they where rare artifacts that could not be found anywhere but on other stalkers
but in stalker 2 one spawned in an anomaly field.
so does that mean after the zone grew more powerfull after recent events it gained the strength to create more of the super rare artifacts like the compass?

I saw there would be like arena style tdm, but realistically nobody asked for that. being able to play the game in co op would be massive! there’s clearly a big demand for it, and I think a lot of people who would consider getting it wouldn’t if co op wasn’t ever going to be added. look at stalker gamma, running strong after all this time. or games like stalcraft blowing up because it’s just stalker but multiplayer. We have already seen in the trailers that mutants now have a more sophisticated behavior pattern (aka State Machine).
Do all mutants of the same kind (e.g. all Pseudodogs) behave exactly the same or do they have random/not so random parameters (e.g. satiation, aggression, ...) that make each fight unique?

The place where fight goes will majorly impact the dynamic of that fight, different mutants also fight differently and use their strengths to get an advantage

Assuming that mutants and humans are able to change maps, does the game decide that from the point of view of the entity or with full knowledge?
To explain: Let's say entity E is on map M with adjacent map A. Is the game looking what E wants and decides changing to map A is helpful for that or is the world looking at E thinking map A looks a bit empty and the player is there, let's move E there so the player has something to do.

Ні для кого не секрет, що розробка першого S.T.A.L.K.E.R. стартувала ще на початку нульових років і завершилась аж у 2007. Неодноразово змінювалась назва, неодноразово змінювалась дата виходу. Неодноразово змінювалася і сама концепція. Результат відомий - на релізі ми побачили безумовно хорошу гру, але яка, на жаль, втратила багато контенту і, очевидно, не була тою, якою вона від самого початку планувалась.
Питання звучить приблизно так:
Чи є хоч якийсь примарний шанс, що у довгоочікуваному сиквелі ми побачимо те, від чого розробники були вимушені відмовитись при розробоці "того" сталкеру? Окрім алайфу 2.0, звісно ж :)

There are many many mods that are old/defunct, that are only "updated" via the community, lost alpha or OGSE for example. Will the new rules regarding mods going into effect Oct 25th of 2024 be retroactively be applied even to mods that have no way of being updated, and does GSC think this is a reasonable request? i live in croatia where i have been trying to get an ultimate physical preorder for PC. i contacted the country retailer for the game (mikronis) and while they have physical ultimate preorders for the xbox, they also told me that pc ultimate physical preorders were "either all reserved by the distributor" or that they "will have the game on release date". it seems to me that i cant get a straight answer from them and im being weirded out by their response so i would like to check here as well to see what else i can do.

Or alternatively, will it be a mix?
Will the stashes scattered around the map need coordinates like in SoC and CS or will they be free to find like in CoP?
Or alternatively, will the CoP system be used for generic ones, while the important/valuable stashes will need coordinates?
When it comes to loot scattered around the map, will it be more limited and not as powerful like in SoC?
Because in CoP balance was large issue and we already saw an SVD stash in S2 Dev deepdive and that worries me a bit

it still exists, you need to reload if weapon is jamming. Your weapon is almost never jamming if it is new and repaired, but on low durability jamming starts to impact the gameplay

First of all thank you for spending the time to reply to all the questions here. Regarding multiplayer is there any for-word on what the team is leaning towards in terms of gameplay style? Are we likely to get more of a style akin to games similar to Tarkov that have a pvp/pve component? Or are we going to experience more classic modes like TDM and capture the artifact? I understand that the multiplayer is probably very much a priority only after release in Nov, but I'm sure the community would appreciate a tiny bit more insight into what we can expect as multiplayer is being sold via pre-orders as a promised component for the game, however we have very little info shared so far. Thanks again to all the team at GSC, massive fan and I will enjoy whatever you guys have planned.

Will HoC feel like a console port? One of my biggest gripes with Metro: Exodus (besides the EGS bait n switch and the game-breaking bugs still present a year post launch) is that it was overwhelmingly apparent that the PC experience was just an afterthought. Dumbed-down graphics settings, weird control layouts, being unable to rebind those weird control layouts, only having three save slots (!), etc. It really put a hamper on my enjoyment of an otherwise good game, and one of my biggest fears about HoC is that it will have similar issues.

Will NPCs still keep their advanced behaviors like looting their dead friends/enemies bodies for new weapons/equipment so they can use it against you, bleeding out, using their own medkits/reviving others, keeping finger on trigger while slumping/dying so they might shoot you, gun butt melee attack, etc?

Стосовно карбованців в сталкері. Цікавий факт, в одному з трейлерів є момент як один сталкер кидає Скіфу монетку. І якшо збільшить зображення, то там чи 25 чи 50 копійок з гербом. Чи є можливість таки додати умовні гривні а не карбованці, при тому шо як такових фізичних грошей там не буде. Це суто піктограмка валюти, але на противагу рублів які були в минулих частинах, ця дрібниця має дуже порадувати українську аудиторію і на моїй пам'яті це чи не перша гра з гривнями буде

А чи буде у Сталкера 2 починатися якась піар-кампанія, бо рідкі скріни з гри, і привітання зі святами (по типу день Хліба, лол) - не виглядає як розкручування своєї гри для аудиторії. Я б сказав що вже давно пора активно працювати з аудиторією, щоб з кожним днем підігрівати інтерес людей до проєкту, бо остання цікава взаємодія була, коли вийшов останній трейлер про перенос гри на листопад (а це було ще влітку), з тих пір інтерес до гри потроху спадає, бо вся інформація знаходиться під NDA, і це виглядає так ніби контент плану як такого немає... а це вже сумно.

Yeah, I doublechecked and seems like I tricked myself into being wrong. For physical editions, Steam codes go with your boxes. You will get them delivered together. The date of delivery is set by your retailer. You should control the delivery with the place where you bought them to be 100% sure.

На даний момент вже рік, як була залишена заявка, отримав відповідь на почту, але все ще немає жодного зворотнього зв'язку стосовно термінів і так далі. Найбільше мене турбує ситуація чи буде він отриманий 20 числа разом з усіма іншими предзамовниками цифрових видань, чи тим, хто замовляв фізичне видання, потрібно чекати, поки ці фізичні видання сформують, їх буде достатня кількість і так далі. Тобто, чи передбачена на даний момент у компанії відповідність кількості фізичних видань кількості предзамовлень, чи буде якийсь зворотній звязок хоча б за декілька днів, бажано за тиждень до реалізу гри, бо не хочеться опинитись в ситуації, коли 20-го гра виходить, а ти як людина, котра зробила передзамовлення більше як рік тому, сидиш і чекаєш без копій.

AFAIK, Game Legends cover Europe, so it is safe to pre-order the new stock from that website, but please note that it will be delivered a bit later, April 2025. You will still get your key for the release day.

The code to the game will be delivered after the end of the campaign (after 10th of November), but before the release date (20th of November). It will be delivered through e-mail by the respective e-store team.
Physical content with all the components will be delivered in April-May 2025 after this additional volume will be produced and shipped to regional distribution centers, from where it will be delivered to customers.

Now, the question I have is: I noticed afterwards what some of the extra text on the site said. Is there a possibility the edition will come without a steelbook? Or the Ultimate art? Why? It feels like an important detail for a big, expensive collectible.
Second question, also from the site info: I take it for this re-run, we'll receive the code for the game, but the physical editions are more or less guaranteed to only come out in April 2025?

I preordered the physical Ultimate edition (with the lamp and backpack) from a swedish site and got informed today that because of less than anticipated copies being delivered to them they will be unable to fulfill my order, instead cancelling it.

lot of people are really dissapointed that the predownload will not be available on PC platforms, mostly for having so bad internet download speed 🫠🥺.
Can you currently state the reason why you made this unfortunate decision? Is there some issue with one of PC platforms that made you do this decision? 🤔
(I have heard the Xbox consoles can predownload but nowhere on PC platforms: Epic, steam, Xbox PC app etc. is it available..)

We were considering our options, but, unfortunately, we couldn't find a way for PC pre-download to be possible. The best we could do is to get it for Xbox. And it is not a favoritism, it is our attempt to have it at least somewhere, so more stalkers can jump into the Zone faster.
I understand the frustration, and it was a tough decision, but we felt it was a necessary one.

if i transfer...hmm...lets take an SEVA suit ( an example ) achived by buying exclusive version...does it just remove from the singleplayer and is moved to multiplayer? or just...copy and place so player can have fun with SEVA suit in both campaign and Multiplayer..( in multiplayer as an skin if i understood correctly )

Can be transferred to MP = it will be possible to use it in MP, you won't need to destroy items to transfer them. In SP you will find usual SEVAs as well as 1 unique modified SEVA

Hi There. I'm repeatedly seeing an "out of video memory" error when on the initial loading of shaders screen. Sometimes it simply crash to desktop with no error at alI.
I'm on Windows 11 with an RTX 4090, with updated drivers as of an hour ago, with plenty of free HDD space for virtual memory as well. Not sure what the issue could be, but I cannot play Stalker. I am not cheeki breeki :(. Please advise. Thanks.

For pc players, could we manually bind our lean in the future? The auto lean function is neat and wonderful for console players, but from a pc standpoint I personally enjoy being able to manually use the q&e keys to duck and weave behind cover while in a firefight. So far I'm enjoying the game nontheless!

Hey guys, loving it so far, amazing job! Quick 2 parter if that's okay. Is nighttime possibly bugged? It seems to be night a lot of the time for some reason and also was not being able to reload while sprinting a design choice? Is it possible to be able to reload while sprinting in tbe future? I just feel like being able to reload while sprinting is pivotal to survival sometimes. Has gotten me killed more times than I'd care to admit, haha. Thanks!

I have seen multiple questions about A-life issues. There are several known issues with A-life 2.0 system that we are aware of and are working on fixes/improvements. Is there something we will be able to do with red (durability <40%) weapons? Disassemble for parts or whatnot? As currently the only option I see is to repair them, then sell, at a net coupon loss. The existing setup makes sense if you find a broken weapon you'd like to use, but not for the dozens of AKs/Vipers that you find along the way :) Feels a bit of a shame to just throw them away.
