If it is actually a new development, it is never properly explored in HoC. There is no backstory to why he would suddenly change character. A much easier explanation is devs going off fan memes (which by themselves were based on gameplay and not lore). This is not unexpected as a lot of the game was written off the wiki.

All their comparisons rely on AI upscaling and framegen. They managed to upscale better and to make multiple fake frames per one real frame, which results in higher FPS on paper but it’s actually a temporal mess of interpolated stuff instead of real rendered frames.

The actual increase from 40 series if you don’t use FSR/DLSS is like 15-20%. Which is absolutely nothing lol.

could try using low latency in control panel instead of reflex in game, could also try fsr fg instead of dlss fg. otherwise, i think more fps tends to have better input latency. i think by default the game turns off motion smoothing now but if not most engine inis include that turned off

Anyone know what the expected rate of encountering alife squads is post 1.1.3? While I have finally seen some interactions, encountering an alife squad still feels rare. I think like through 3 hours of grinding the story and running around the maps I have only seen 2 events.

I had them spawn on me constantly making travel a real save scum fest, had to install a mod that entirely removes spawns around the player but increases amount of patrols and distances etc, so far has helped and a lot of times i bump into squads that have clearly already been in combat with something and not a fresh spawn of guys

But the trick to complete a side quest without that complete bug seems to be not saving the game once your objective is completed till you report it back to the quest giver. If you save in between there might be a chance the quest might not complete

And holy hell why does Harpy take 10 side quests to become friendly

You should make unleavened bread with some salt or spices, or have it be regular.

After you make the dough (Just flour & water & whatever flavoring stuff really), you stab holes all over the bread to prevent steam pockets, and then you bake it in the oven on both sides till crispy brown.

But, the best part of its taste, is when you butter it when it's freshly out of the oven. You get a moist & buttery bread to enjoy!

You can put whatever you want on it, like cheese, tomato sauce, sausages, etc, and enjoy!

I usually make my AK into a sniper gun, and my 2nd gun is a shotgun, no pistols.

I also carry around about 1000 AK rounds, and some grenades.

It usually comes around 35~ Kilograms of stuff.

I don't usually do handguns. I carry around a sniper weapon, and a shotgun most of the time.

At endgame, I carry an RPG, and a Machine gun, and a sniper rifle.

Yeah but its still a lot more reliable at stalker killing than other hand guns, especially how little ammo it uses and how slowly it wears down, so i use it whenever I can to save up my better guns

I pick up yellow guns and sell all extra ammo i wont need, always some 100+k in reserve, dont really go out of my way to grind artifacts i just check every now and then with the detextor around anomalies

Emissions help in artifact spawning, so whenever an emission happens, check the places where artifacts commonly spawn.

You should also check other places that aren't blatantly obvious, like underground.

Where you can get the real good artifacts though, are around chemical anomalies, cuz they produce anti-rad & healing artifacts.

Most bullets are insta kill if you aim them right. It's not hard to get a headshot really-

There are some areas that prevent players from either cheesing their way in or otherwise, by using instakill barriers that k-o you as soon as you hit a certain magic line

You could start your own artifact museum if you wanted to. Collect them all! Display them in your Favourite storage container for others to see!

Obtain the Rare Compass, and the Oasis artifact, and whatever else you can find. xD

Imo once you understand how the magic sniper death barrier works its always obvious to see where you can and cant go, Havent had any trouble with them since i died to them couple times in duga part 1

In this case, the game usually forces your death through an invisible "Insta Death" barrier, and it plays a fake sniper shot sound & a fake damage direction indicator to make it like you're being shot.

You should try the immersive barriers mod. They open up places, but don't be fooled, the blocking fence was replaced with a deadly, unavoidable, insta killing minefield, or very strong radiation, or alot of PSI waves.

Crazy thing is, in Stalker, you can't even see the mines, but you can definitely hear their clicking noises when you throw a bolt onto them.

For Psy Dogs, it's more of a "Cup & Ball" aspect. Make sure you spot the real version, before you're spotted. Ignore the phantoms, as they don't deal any damage, and just attack the real one.

Remember, keep an eye on the real one, make sure you spot it first before it spots you, and only shoot phantoms if they get in your way.

What I do, is I wait for one who actually does damage to attack me, and whatever one does real damage, that's the real dog, and I shoot it.

There would be no actual reason to choose a Dnipro - the Kharod has more penetration, which is the meta (3 pen v 2 pen), it has a slightly higher rate of fire, more range, and over 50% higher accuracy
