Is this one good
It has 12gb and it’s 6700 xt
That's only been an issue with rx 5000
550 for 6700 xt?
no
I’d pass
if 6700xt
3070 fe is 500 bucks and are pretty easy to get
It’s only 500
At a bestbuy
Would get this one
https://pcpartpicker.com/product/RFGbt6/xfx-radeon-rx-6700-xt-12-gb-speedster-swft-309-video-card-rx-67xtyjfdv
man dont
Mech/ventus is also like the worst model anyway
and 500 for thta
Isn’t there a red devil card for 20$ more?
or if you reeally want nvidia just go 3060 ti fe
U can change any cards backplate if u have the right backplate to replace it
There is, imo not worth it
But it has light rgb and says red devil, and there like amds og, imo there the best models for amd
Not to mention they clock high
rgb = fps
You do u bro
Its slightly better
4000 series is about to come out so gpus are prices r going down
Better cooler i believe
The gigabyte one is kinda ugly
True
i like to stare at my pc while reading discord
I stare at my pc and look at how badly I need to wipe the dust off my glass panel
I think sleeper builds that have top of the line parts are cool
Is sn850 good
Yes but depending on price
General user doesn’t need more than a nvme gen 3 ssd atm
Basically dollars in your economy
So may or may not be worth it but I think not really as much worth it.
Eu economy dropped
I mean it’s 2tb of nvme
Pretty good deal unless u find something cheaper
It's not bc 4000 is coming out, it's becuse crypto mining isn't crazy profitable anymore
Nvidia is actually considering delaying the 4000 launch bc market is flooded
Honestly not worth 60$ going to a 6750xt
No harm in that
780 for a 6900xt is amazing wth
by your thing it shows you already have a 3070 ti 😂
yes thank you there is no $730 charge to my account dont worry hehe
$730 after rebate too
honestly im prolly gonna wait until 60 series so i can get a 6090
plus ill have time to save up, $500 a year should be good
@azure pond there you go https://a.co/d/1pWcWWs
Holy crap
229
So tempting
Yeah only if it was in US too lol
Btw Amazon warehouse have extra 25% discount . You can use it on some gpus too. https://amzn.to/3Pp9LVM
Online shopping for Graphics Cards from a great selection at Amazon Warehouse Prime Day Deals Store.
Looks like it not applying to all cards but works on some idk which ones
that z690 were 155$ at newegg for long
Same, edit with < > around link
*scamegg
Gen3
Yeah it's decent but not gen4
I bought sn850 for 220$ recently
Got p41 for 220$ too

20$ for 3500mbps.to 7000mbps is worth it to me
what are you even doing to need that
I see people complaining about gen4 speeds which sounds nonsense to me . Sn850 transferring with 4.5gbps stable while 970evo does 2.4gbps
I would love to see p41 for 180$ too
I thinking about it too . Like I would rather P41 but it's 220$
40$ more but very very small difference
in that case sn850 definitely more worth
Nope
Probably Amazon being weird cuz you different region
ah
1tb sn570 is literally 62£ rn
🙂
huh ok so my amazon keeps trying to show me used stuff

Warehouse items have 25% off
Warehouse items usually good . You can get very cheap used *mined gpus from them
Some gpus are being good as new but sometimes you getting mined and abused cards
I want this, but man that's still a steep price for a mouse
https://www.amazon.com/Razer-Naga-Wireless-Gaming-Mouse/dp/B08D27XXRY
Why do you want a naga?
the swapping of the button faces like that would be useful for me.
some games I use most the 12 buttons. some games I only need 6
and some I only need 2
lemme get a mouse with a numpad on the side
I don't even using them in game lol
Fixing double click is easy if you know soldering
Just order switch or replace it with side button's switch
That aorus z690 looks nice
sn570 for $140 US equivalent... but its in the uk

Mp33 is constant 140$, not quite as good but still very good
thanks for the heads up, just a bit sad i cant make an excuse* spend more money needlessly on nvme storage
Looking for 3070 laptop . if anyone seen good deal on laptops pls let me know

Well i was about to post the msi gl66 for 1200, but then i looked at their site, "NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™️ 3070 Laptop GPU
Up to 1365MHz Boost Clock, 85W Maximum Graphics"
Eww
Why specifically Amazon.de or do you mean like prime day deals?
closes amazon with good deals to me
What now?
wdym what now
85w 3070
I think 130w 3060 will do better
im pretty sure my 115w 3060 would do better
I have 85w 3060
but it goes up to 105w with boost
Thing is boost not always working lol it depends on cpu usage and temps
Btw p41 is actually $208 not $220, although sn850 at $180 is darn good if someone wants to settle for 2nd place.
I already ordered bunch of sn850
Gonna put them on this
ASUS Hyper M. 2 x16 Gen 4 Card is designed specifically for RAID functions in four M. 2 slots, providing up to 256Gbps transfer speed. Rip pcie lines
12900k have 48pcie lines total. 16for gpu , 16 for 4x m2 slot , and gonna put 4x m2 on that expansion card
So gonna full all pcie lines
I bought all the pcie lanes, so im gonna use all the pccie lanes
maybe if you have a 6500xt 💀
Rtfm
its 1 x16 slot with 4x4x4x4 bifurcation
But which mobo have 2x pcie 16
also i just realized my 9700k has a mere 16 pcie lanes, so one high end gpu takes em all up leaving none for my m.2s :/
Lol
oh im saying thats how the card works
im not sure how it works on the motherboard's end
Yeah mobos not wiring only x4 for extra gpu slots
Use that 2nd "x16" slot & then it simply makes them both x8 on most older mobos. Cpu/pch provides lanes, mobo decides partly how they're routed.

I need mobo with 2x pcie x16
is it just me or prime day deals are not really too good ?
last year had some pretty good cpu combos but this year is kind of a disappointment
most prices are similar to newegg anyways
Yeah . Only cpu is 12600kf which is only 20$. Cheaper than newegg lol
Same price on ryzen cpus
Antonline had better ryzen cpu prices at 4th
Got ballistix 16gb 3200 for just 50€
I saw that ballistic deal in UK
But they're different in each country I guess (the deals)
But I'm in US
And I'm in Italy
Just put the GPU in a one of the x8 or x4 slots
X4 for 3090
Sure why not, it's still enough for most games on pcie gen4
I think x8 should be alright but I'm not sure about x4
Gotta bust out the x1…
did you mean like closest and not closes?
when gpu with x4 slot
Amd done this already lol
Oh its x4 lines not x4 slot
Yes
Lithuania
Ahh
What size ssd you looking for?
1-2tb
Sn570 for both would be my choice looking at the prices
Especially if you order now and get prime, they on nice prime day deal

well, its pcie gen 5... 4 lanes should be enough
8 lanes is enough on gen 4
Looking for an NVMe thunderbolt dock in the UK
I want something for games and possibly to store photos on
Was looking at these two on Amazon and somewhat torn between them.

I might use the USB ports but highly unlikely to use the Ethernet port or the DisplayPort output.
I already have two 256GB Samsung SM951 NVMe drives from when I upgraded my laptop a few years ago.
Lanes!
Ya know, it's not really in pcie5 mode w/ a pcie4 gpu. I mean, the pcie5 doesn't exactly help in this case afaik.
there's no deals on 5950x
No one should be buying a 5950X at this point anyway
should i post Undecide in #tech-deals ?
I mean it was 460$ at woot which makes it acceptible
but for 550$ it doesn't make sense yeah
I'd go 12900k before 5950x. 🤷♂️
13900k wen
December maybe
I still couldn't find a way to add extra m2 ssds to my pc
wait what
you think its worth posting Undecide to tech deals?
I thought its coming soon
I don't know what you're talking about
Hmm did you though? I didn't say it after all
ok boomer
Any good wireless gaming headphones deals
so we expecting 7000series before 13th gen
7000 GPUs before 40 series but CPUs are still unknown
i don't think I will go for amd gpu but maybe AMD cpu
amd gpus are great
I have a personal rule I live by: never buy the first model on a new platform. This applies to cars and computers mainly.
$140 bestbuy sn850 was refunded btw, rip. If anything, might just reorder the P31 or wait until building near black friday
umm I didn't had good experience with 6800xt and 6900xt
how so?
6000 wasn't a new platform though, it's the second RDNA generation. 5000 was where the real issues were.
I having that rule in general but not on PC . lol I love getting advanced tech first lol
hey... no need to be meany to my card 😭
ironically, my 5700xt has been a great great gpu with basically no crashes or instability. sample size of one tho
5000 got fixed eventually but many 5700 XTs were totally unusable near launch
I'm actually one of 50 who downloaded windows10 insider first lol.. microsoft sent t-shirt to me for that lmao
Well if you like to live on the bleeding edge, expect a few cuts along the way
5700xt become rreal gpu after 2 years lmao
i bought mine under a year after release and its been epic
me too . and win11 is more stable than win10
i havent seen any stability difference
ive seen better gaming perf however, with e cores on 12th gen
Took em too long to give task man dark mode. Is that still only the insider ver
Windows 11 stable? They're changing up parts of the API every two weeks it seems
I've had the opposite, 11 is less stable for me
iirc yeah
I using it for work and it is more stable than crappy win10
i briefly used a 12600k on w10 and the gaming was pretty meh
Yeah I don't know what you mean about 10 being crappy, it had it's issues near launch but that's not a unique thing.
Still an overblown issue tbh, and win10 will get thread director updates overtime.
Windows 10 is pretty much stable at this point. Microsoft rocked the boat and ditched IE recently, but besides that it has been pretty good
not at adl launch
im speaking past tense here
if you had a 12600k(f) or up pretty close to launch, gaming sucked pretty bad
i disabled e cores it was that bad
do you have a ridgewallet?
A lot of games with anti-cheat were totally unplayable too
mhmm
Not like Ecores help games much. Early adopter issues.
mad because you dont have basically a skylake in your cpu? L
only thinkg I don't like about win11 is notifications center
it sux
need better one
heres the nice thing about the ridge tho
you dont even need to install the cash slip/strap after getting it, since you already burned all the cash youd be carrying
its kinda genius tbh
Doesn't adl have die space laid out for avx512 in the P cores, but support disabled because the e cores don't have it?
Any way to make keyboard not instantly popup when i hit reaction button on phone? / OT
probably
Thoughts? A lot of the first results there are decent
ooh those are nice
WB 3080 12gb for $800 is nice
ofc kinda limited audience but still
I think I saw 12gb for cheaper
They'll run higher clocks on water
Not even b stock
it wans't liquid cooled but it was cheaper
Yeah, I'll post it
3080 12gb on water shreds
It's worth it over the 829 gaming Z imo
Welp, especially now that 829 gaming z is now 849 EDIT: that's even the 10gb one

Idek where my wallet came from
I found it in my room when I was like 10 and I still use it
Amazon dropped this one

Not if it's limited by 375w PL (2P card). vBIOS mod or shunt mod is still kinda needed
Best prime deal obv
ew 1799 for that
unless it's not showing
i can't see the sale price it seems
yup
FTW3 was at the same price, oos now
980pro heatsink for 200$ https://www.newegg.com/samsung-2tb-980-pro/p/N82E16820147826?Item=N82E16820147826
I know p41 is better deal but its 980 pro and it have heatsink lol
S tier SSD for $100 per TB is never a bad option
But it's far more than most people that aren't storage snobs like you need
non heatsink version is 185$
Standard gamer won't need that bandwidth until direct access storage is wide spread, but by the time direct access storage is wide spread we'll have drives with two, maybe even three or four times the sequential performance
The first game to support it is out and Direct Storage is looking cool https://www.pcgamer.com/thanks-to-directstorage-forspoken-loads-in-only-one-second/
ssd is now gonna be important for gaming

wait it helps with hdd too?
whoa
a little but damn
For certain games like these massive open world titles yes it'll become a very nice QoL feature
I think those numbers are using a 4.0 nvme but I can't find anything that says either way
Oh it got delayed to October, guess we'll know more by then
Yes a whole 0.2 seconds
4.8 GB/s, it would have to be some pretty good compression to get that on gen 3
i wouldnt even have time to process those two seconds
But that is 10% still
Also it's the first implementation, optimization tricks will show up later
damn, if you live near lowes, this is a really nice deal https://www.lowes.com/pd/BULLDOG-Bulldog-1-300-Piece-Complete-Fastener-Kit/1003193000?
Yeah this is more of the "proof of concept" stage for new tech, soon they'll figure out how to actually utilize the extra features
whats the best deal for a 2tb nvme right now?
As gen4 , WD Sn850 for 180$ and Samsung 980pro for 185$
Sn850 is better than 980pro so I voting on sn850 lol
p31 for $160 is great for gen 3 aswell
Any nice office chair deals?
Staples Hyken in red 180, grey is 190 usd
I'm trying to convince my brother to get a P31. I've already told him it's the "gold standard", but he's still on the fence
How do I convince him more than "dude your ssd*is 256gb" can?
Edit: meant to say SSD, but sad also works I guess
Idk, their loss. look what I saw when I was glancing at the $52 wireless deathadder V2
-- (yes I know it's not 43% off the "reg" price, just showing how it only jumps $1.51 when prime sale is over) -- EDIT: As much as I wanted a P31, the $180 SN850 sure looks good.
actually youre wrong
$1.50 man, get it right
people these days....
/s
People indeed. Anyways: Found something that actually is sort of a deal, but it's white.
spray paint?
That'll flake off though
heyyy I actually got the white one, not bad at all tbh. I bought my sister the black one
thing is, the material makes my hand sweat more than other mice
@jolly inlet saw this on a amazon desc for a little bench vise
whoever wrote this just screwed the hell out of the people dealing with warranty 💀
That's vague enough to deal with the legal loopholes
Yea I currently use a normal deathadder essential. the DA V2 Pro would be a good match but idk. $35 on that Orochi almost seems worth a try. edit: (white ain't right though)
"your honor, the customer actually submitted it to two hells of a beating"
lmfao
"Customer states: I gave it a hell of a beating like it said, but it broke"
"Repair request denied due to customer's definition of 'a hell of a beating' being more extreme than our marketing team's"
its looks damn cheap too
yeah definitely for ppl with smaller hands for sure, it fits me nice
Yuck, basically a smaller and/or weaker version of what harbor freight might sell.
probs yeah, but its $40 so cant expect too much
wrong, lol
Man I wish I had pcie gen 4 to take advantage of that sn850 ;-;
Pain.
8Khz is a sham anyways. Anything above 2Khz can sometimes act funky/stuttery in some games.
Nah mini vs normal sized
thats what she said
The mini is always cheap af even compared to the non-8khz normal sized one
21k hero sensor says what
its got a good personality, ok
Bruh I'm not talking DPI. Edit: There's not much testing on it, but yea 2Khz polling is really the highest that's good, for now.
Oh you mean polling rate
lmao, you gonna buy that orochi v2?
no, i was hoping for around $20 mark
how good of a deal was that lumix g7 for like $600 on prime day earlier?
The professional-grade Panasonic Lumix 4K Digital Camera DMC-G7HK accepts over 30+ compact lens options built on the next-generation interchangeable lens camera (ILC) standard (Micro Four Thirds) pioneered by Panasonic. Its “mirrorless” design enables a lighter, more compact camera body while als...
had a lens too
oh wait you arent ghosty 💀
i mixed you two up
how
my condolences
Only 16mp seems a bit weird
both mods
i talk about mice and mousepads
yea
ghosty talks bout audio and photography
i should lower your rank
back down to regular+
well, that was worth a shot
Why bother with the extra character, the + is overrated
Rookie doesn't exist any more
also, prime deal on the razer orochi v2 is 34.97. normal price is 34.99 💀
yes
im sure that could be arranged
Gotta love Amazon, they never use shady tactics like marking things up to discount them or using the MSRP on 6 year old items or finding the highest listed price on eBay and using that as a base...
camelcamelcamel tells no lies
Only the white model is $35 though.
Amazon is racist confirmed
Which of these would ya pick? Both 20K optical sensor. Probably just a shape choice tbh.
Imo deathadder
both good, just depends on what shape you like. dont know if that version of the deathadder has it, but the viper ultimate has rubber grips which to some people can be kinda bad
me i have the ultimate, i dont mind the rubber much on the sides
They're almost identical underneath, go by shape preference
right on. DA probably would be my pick mostly for being obviously a nice wireless replacement/clone/upgrade. btw AK620 is still $52.
You should also see if the orochi sale is back or if the viper mini is also on sale, if you're hunting for a razer mouse
I'll continue being a Logitech shill and say dat 21k hero sensor is nice
I do acknowledge the click issues on their switches though, I'm not a blind fanboy
Experience the power of total control in your hand, no matter what game you play. Designed to provide you that Edge you need in MOBA/mmO gameplay, the Razer Naga Trinity lets you configure your mouse for everything from Weapons to build customizations so you'll always be ahead of the competition....
:P
Points for the name, but pass.
Orochi v2 is amazing
I'm probably alone on this but I want a razer mamba return
I really like the secondary fire button
25K you mean? I haven't used logitech for years, since I had a lil $15ish plain old cheap cheap model of some sort. Also,
a dang spaceship
Mamba, felt so nice to me
Ah it's 25k? Yeah I lost track and went by memory, mb
Yep that g502 is what I've got
Freewheeeeeel
edit: Normally a "the office" gif of you know what.
Whats wrong with the naga that makes you pass on it? Just curious.
Chillin like a villain
I really want it, but I already have 2 mice hooked to my pc that I swap between.. idk how well I could handle a third.
I mean I actively use both.
Especially if you're mixing brands with all that software
Well redragon is fine. Its minimal.
I have the orochi so another razer product wouldn't be bad.
I don't use my naga for MMO though so I'm not a good opinion on it. I use it for CAD work
I would honestly be using it for the 7 button side.
I do use my redragon for other games as it has the 12. And I use orchi for browsing as well as certain games that don't require so many buttons
The redrafon also has a secondary left click button so thats cool
they are having sales it looks like
$23 for a viper mini pretty good
Mainly the million buttons, but 99% of my games are FPS & I'm good w/ my simple DA & it's 2 side buttons.
Ah alright.
👀
Just get this one

Yeah the review and answer are from the same person
that might be a decent price one sec
Only 100 off what amazon usually sells it
not that great of a deal
Has anything been leaked about the month it'll launch in, if you know?
No leaks but basically always guaranteed sept/oct
Even with 13th gen so close.. that 12600KF is pretty solid price though right? Like a 13600KF is probably gonna drop at like.. $400??
I mean, idk. That's why I'm asking.
Because I'm really contemplating picking it up.
I already have the 12600K, but for that price.. I feel like it'd be a good idea.
I'd imagine 13600k will be ~300
Though it depends if it's the same core count as 13400
I guess I only paid 279 for my 12600K. For some reason I thought I paid closer to $400.
hold up, that laptop's 3070 is only 85w
"240W TDP cooler" for $20. Somehow I doubt it

Looks like another SE-224xt, gamaxx 400, etc style cooler
Nvm it’s 6 heat pipes instead of 4
More like 280-300 prolly
would an extra 2 pipes make a difference in a cooler this size? Seems smaller than other air coolers of a similar tdp
Oh I doubt it’s actually 240tdp but it still should be better than 4 heat pipe coolers of similar design
so its taking the logic of a vetroo v5, but adding yet another pipe
Basically
never heard of it before
how is the HP x27q?
I read that as 6500xt lmao
its on sale for $175 and im contemplating it
Or have hwunboxed/their monitor channel done a vid on it?
Thays who is selling that 6650xt
oh i didnt check that
not many reviews
seems sus
$700 3080 12gb on b stock
$650 10gb
Good. This might be 1 thing I actually buy today. Gonna be awesome secondary screen until gpu upgraded.
im debating, if i buy it ill be waiting longer to upgrade my cpu and mb
so i think ima skip on it
I ordered it, worst that can happen is I'll end up returning it. Amazon returns are easy.

@shut spoke discussion in here. It must be over. I just took a look and it's not showing up on mine either.
980 Pro is $10 cheaper at newegg. I was gonna rebuy a P31 at 160 but the SN850 is tempting. Trying it the TT HP into cart instead of the weird page w/ only "place order". EDIT: bought the HP!
They will be same i guess since sn850 will by limited by gen3 speed
Actually nah, doesn’t seem like a good idea for my laptop because of the extra heat
Sticking with my P31 plan
P31 is an easy choice for a laptop
if your laptop not supporting gen4 then there's no point of getting gen4 ssd lol
If you have plan to upgrade soon then yeah
P31 w/ it's great overall latency and such would probably beat (for general use) any gen 4 ssd that's set on gen 3, plus obviously the outright lower power/heat. Edit: sn850 sold by Amazon might be temporary oos anyways.
Yeah that p31 is tempting to get for my laptop because of the low heat
980pro is available at newegg
Only reason I was asking was that $135 SN850 at best buy
Compared to $160 P31
I think it was pricing error couse it went oos too fast
135$ for sn850 is great deal
it's good to see amd cpus for sale around but intel being intel again
It was. I ordered one then later was refunded. Alex might as well do p31. When you need or can use gen 4, I bet there'll be new sales or ssds.

No
Waa
Asus tuf 650 is the same price
Also there's a tier list pinned in #cases-psu-and-cooling
Anything a or b tier is fine for the most part, with a few exceptions
And if going for an 850, I'd try for an a tier
I legit don’t have anything power intensive
Again with a few exceptions, like the GT is B tier and is fine for a 3080
I'd just get the asus tuf then
What gpu and cpu do you have?
What gpu do you plan to upgrade to?
If ever I’d get something like a rtx 3060 ti but unless they get better stock I may in a year get a 1660/1650 super or smth
If you want smthn a bit better and higher wattage, nzxt C 750 is $70 rn
Stock is getting better at a very rapid rate on 30 series, prices have been slowly coming down for months
I would also pick a tuf bronze over a GD
Isn't GD c tier felix?
1650s is quickly becoming entry level
Yes the V version there is C, the other version like D tier iirc
I'd get a $260 6600
Then get a 2060 off evga b stock
Considering AM5 will likely have 1650 level perf on their iGPU's I wouldn't drop money on a 1650 rn
Tuf bronze is based tho, good pricing in a lot of regions especially where computer knowledge is limited cos everyone thinks "Oh bronze bad" but it's actually built solid as hell lol
Yea for sure
So this is better? Or at the very least worth it? I’m just trying to get rid of my annoying coil whine honestly
Or that 1080ti for like 190
Yes
Bet
waiting to cop, my dream come true
im figthing the urge, so many good deals
i dont need to, because im broke and cant buy anything anyway
No more 1080TIs in bstock
Any more deals on monitors you fellas have found?

Yeah, I believe so. Preferably 144hz+

holly molly nice deal you nailed there bacca

btw you had yours still on the package right?
just a reminder this is still aviable for 119$ https://www.walmart.com/ip/seort/905918032
how much are you looking to spend
idk just something reasonably good for the price?
i ahve a set of ballistix 16g 3600
but
they dont sell them anymore
well you can get a decent 32gb kit for $80, which imo is worth it
i wouldnt recommend it
youd have to make sure they have the same die
do you know which manufacture use the same die as ballistix?
just so i dont have to buy a completely new set
but this deal seems good too
80 for 32
What die are your ballistix?
how do i check them?
Post a pic of the label on the stick
Then find a matching die on hardwareswap/ebay
I wouldn't worry about it too much if you just get any other matching xmp kit tbh
ballistix is nice reliable die typically which is great
better than like team or corsair can say
Well, it's 100% micron, but that could be 8gbit rev.e, 16gbit rev.e or rev.b, etc
yea
they're these just for reference, or are the dies diff for each stick?
Crucial Ballistix gaming memory is designed for high-performance overclocking and is ideal for gamers and performance enthusiasts looking to push beyond standard limits. With hundreds of awards, multiple esport championships, and numerous overclocking world records under its belt, Crucial Ballist...
both sticks will have the same die
Do you intend to run it all at 3200mhz?
Searching ebay for "rev.e" likely won't be useful
Any 3200mhz crucial 2x8 kit will also be single rank rev.e afaik
i mean i think there is barely a difference
oh wait but this just wouldnt be worth it since you can get 32 for 80?
they are very over priced since they arent produced anymore
so i was wondering if i could get another set
32 for 80 sounds like a very good deal
I don't think I've seen 2x16 crucial kits that low
yeah not crucial
its these ones
sorry for the ping
If you're just running them xmp, just switch to 2x16, sure
Sell the crucials
What cpu?
Get better ram, lol
11500
wait what
https://newegg.io/e8098f1 what would y'all say bout this
i wouldnt use neweggs building service, it tends to be overpricced
id do lian li galahad for aio
I am just asking what would you say about the build
also for ssd, if youre gaming, p31
rm 850 is cheaper and better
and corsair makes mid ram, i wouldnt buy it
theres a tridenz white rgb kit
do you have any recomandations for mid ranged ssds?
mp33
any good prime day sales?

so its probably not wroht it
to go for this
7000 but 20 dollars more
Is there any other good custom pc buidling service then (idk how to build pc + everything is more overpriced than newegg in my country)
Just look for local pc shops around you, a lot of them will probably do customs
see now the thing is they cant even afford a good i5 cpu at a half-decent price
i mean things boil down to some really simple ideas, building a pc isnt that hard, there are tons of people here that will guide you through it, just find a tutorial online
Building a pc is pretty easy. For a first time, it will be time consuming of course, but you can always hop into #building-and-recc-chat and you'll get all the help you'll need plus some.
Watching a few YouTube vids also goes a long way in visualizing what you'll need to do. I recommend checking them out asap so you can see just how simple it really is. Watch a couple. Take a few days, watch a couple more. Ask questions about what this and that is and you'll be well on your way to building your own pc.
there is nothing wrong to have a custom build service for your new pc, but you should be aware that prices will be higher on the components in those services... nobody buys bread to sell bread at the same price.
Well said, diy build isn't right for everyone
@azure pond That CLC 280 is used…
It's still 50$ tho
But used AIO
True
Especially when it already goes on sale for around $65 new often
I guess ye
Oh sorry, didn't see that
Its still more expensive to just build the pc.gpu from my country ts like an additonal 400$ and the cpu Costs 200$ extra I didnt even wanna bother looking for all other parts and I cant use amazon since I am not from USA
And the motherboard I want they didnt even have it
What country are you in
Yeah it stays at that price for long periods of time. I probably wouldn't save $15 to get a used AIO
@sonic grail Those Sony's are great, I bought the XM3's refurbed off ebay and haven't had any issues with them. I heard the mic is better on the xm4's.
For those familiar with the lego games on the humble bundle set, are any of the games online multiplayer (playing with a friend online) or is it just single player?
If I remember right, I think they're local co-op only. But you can probably use steam remote play.
there havent been any good bundles lately
Ohh gotcha thanks 🙏
To add on to Remote Play, Parsec is also good if Steam Remote Play is giving issues.
Deep Rock is great but the 2 or 3 bundles before were absolute trash
Especially the one with Star Wars Squadrons as the headliner cause so many people got free keys and you can buy em for under $2
whats a good monitor at a budget of 150?
You can get decent 1080p 144hz displays for that, maybe cheaper 1440p ones as well?
What res/refresh rate are you thinking of?
144 hz
Yeah so unless you find a really good deal, for $150 you're probably gonna be looking at 1080p 144hz
Decide if you want IPS or VA panel and then set some search filters on Amazon and newegg
Msi g241/g242 might be 1 of the good options around that price. There were a few crazy deals yesterday.
Question for y'all. My brother just had a motherboard breakdown on his computer that was very similar to this. I found pretty much the same model with newer parts for a great price, is it worth risking buying it and hoping something similar doesn't happen in the next two years?
https://www.officedepot.com/a/products/7315644/Lenovo-IdeaPad-3-Laptop-156-Screen/#Specs
any good?
If you're good with IPS I would get this one
https://www.amazon.com/AOC-24G2-Frameless-Adjustable-Guarantee/dp/B07WVN6CWT/
AOC Gaming 24G2 is in a class of its own, bringing brilliant colors of an IPS panel and the fast 1ms (MPRT) response time into one sleek battle machine for people who demand both uncompromising speed and image quality.144hz, 1ms game play: 144Hz refresh and 1ms (MPRT) response times brings unprec...
I believe that is a TN panel, I personally would avoid that and get either IPS or VA
VA has some smearing but great contrast, IPS is a good all-rounder
TN tends to have worse colors and bad viewing angles
Tn used to be for pushing those high refresh rates
That was kinda the main purpose
But now ips and stuff is really good so yeah
Your call depending on how you trust warranty and customer service. That's a good deal though. I got a similar laptop but with a 120hz display and 16gn ram from Dell for $575ish but that's over now
(the AOC one I linked is IPS, and on sale rn)
The Ryzen 5825 is great
My leonvo laptop is going on 5 years and while it has slowed down I've had no issues. Meanwhile, his laptop would require a MOBO fix that's more expensive than the laptop. Hence why I'm nervous
...though depending on when you need the laptop it could be worth it to wait for Ryzen 6000 mobile
Yeah I know people who love the thinkpads but they're mostly using older models
His hardest games are DBD and Minecraft, I think he'd be ok lol.
I have a yoga, no complaints from me
A lot of the simliar laptops are Ryzen 5 and or 256 GB, I guess I'm just afraid this one will break after two years
Also I can't figure out what the difference between thinkpad and ideapad is, seems like a rebrand more than a tech change
Most people that love thinkpads, me included are using high end ones
The low end ones are really bad
Define lowend
Any sub 1-1.5k imo
ah, gotcha
This one is retail 750, so I'd consider it mid end
His twin's exact same laptop is still kicking, which also confuses me
what does that mean ;-;
Oooof, you just missed out on yesterday's deal.
HP x27q, 1440p 165hz, $186 after tax
It was on sale 4 months ago though, so you might want to wait, if you can
Well tbh it's not the usual sale, it's that Amazon treadure truck deal. I got 1, lol
does Bdie ram make any difference for people who dont overlock??
Not really. The "flat" timings are nice but for non overclockers better off saving the $$.
Thx
t420?
Oh really, I saw a post from 4 months ago, but I think the price was $179
I get mine on Sunday. I saw comments where people accidentally got two sent to them 🤞
Yep, $189 after tax. No m27Q but also not $260+. Taking a while to ship but oh well.

Wtf, mine was just delivered...

Third part seller
They have a good enough rating that it shouldn't be a total scam at least
@azure pond How do you get that monitor to be $201? It comes up at $269 for me
Ig sale ended
Hey fal, the silicon power 3200c16 gray kit is same price and better timings
Yeah true. Memory is getting crazy cheap now. Not long ago a 16gb 3200 kit would be this price.
Ye it's nice
Cheapest 32gb 3600c16 kit is $135
Down a bit but not really worth $55 extra
Eh, id just get a $90 3600c18 kit then
I'd rather stick the extra 50 in a gpu or cpu upgrade tho
Not a lot of stepping up in tiers for those you can do for $50
Ya but it's even less so on ram lol
Like $50 can mean the difference for a bump up from a 6600XT to 6650 for example
Just a measure of what's really worth it tbf
True enough. It all comes down to the balance of performance for the parts.
Well, its still by Asus so not really. Any failure means... well... a not fun time lol.
tfw asus rma is very good in where i live
Added link to it on newegg also, as if that means much.
Logitech rma here is
Beyond garbage
15+ days
And they dont even provide a stand in mouse
wew
strix is so popular
any thoughts on the b660 aorus master? looking for a 660 mobo between 160-200 and this combo looks...ok https://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails?ItemList=Combo.4505179
it's a decent board
any other options at that range to have a look?
that price of 12600kf is meh ngl
12700f can be had for similar price
hm nvm
but if you buy mobo and cpu individually
you actually get better deal
PC Builder - Intel Core i5-12600K
hmmm trying to fit a build with a 3080 on a 1.5k budget for me
all new in fact
aight
i'll see what i can do
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/wrYjNc @steel wren
PC Builder - Intel Core i5-12600K, GeForce RTX 3080 12GB LHR, Phanteks Eclipse P360A ATX Mid Tower
Had to step down to b660
But same mobo except matx
lets see
Funny how 3080 12 gigs is cheaper than og 10 one
yeah the case can be killed as well, sorry for that
ah
i can get the case off?
yeah
alright
im using the 5000x already at my desk
that's good then
makes way for extras
depending on your current psu, i might be able to kill the psu
btw for the ssd, you can also buy from newegg for same price
yeah the actual cant be used, it s 750ga... known as shutting down on 3080 spikes
free shipping, basically same as prime
must be a new psu
oof, yeah
g5 850w will do just fine
it's the best b tier
PC Builder - Intel Core i7-12700F, GeForce RTX 3080 12GB LHR
updated the ssd kek
pcpp has a liking for amazon i guess
Why not go gaming Z trio for $30 over ventus?
can be a lil picky? an m mobo couldnt look good on the big 5000x 😦
Nvm the ventus and gaming Z trio are same price because the ventus is $30 with a MIR
I really doubt anyone will mess with that for $30 off
PC Builder - Intel Core i5-12600K, GeForce RTX 3080 12GB LHR
there you go
even if you don't mess with rebate with this one
it would still fit 1.5k
If you don’t mess with rebate then go for the gaming Z trio, same price and all…
hmn true
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/YLF2bK okay final one
PC Builder - Intel Core i5-12600K, GeForce RTX 3080 12GB LHR
wait the z trio is also on rebate too lol
that last one is perfect
Wait is it?
Damnit MSI
im more inclined for the x trio than the ventus, dunno why? maybe becasue its a ventus idk
Ventus is 💩 cooler, the 3x is good enough for up to a 3070 though
Gaming Z is the exact opposite
^
One of MSI's top models with a decent factory overclock
How does the gaming Z compare to suprim X?
Better
Z is the Omega after all
I looked at the stats for 20 series cards a while back and the gaming X/Z models were consistently in the top 10% of their tier
got the build bookmarked for tomorrow, goin to use the same build for my sis but ill give her my 60ti and my 750ga
Hmm I was always under the impression suprim as being the highest tier MSI card
Suprim is for ampere afaik, suprim wasn't a thing for 20 series
Straight up just looking at spec suprim gets higher boost clocks
They're both 3x8 cards, depends on the card's binning
I would spend $5 more on a enermax D.F 850W on this list @steel wren or get a G6 from b stock if they still have it for $85 EDIT: Nvm deal not on EVGA anymore as far as I can tell
You may as well if you want an 850W
He wants all new parts
I found these two notebooks with these specs.
#1: https://imgur.com/lzF3PwI
#2: https://imgur.com/DxzVJN3
they are each 1600. Can I do "any better"? Are there any other ones that would be good or better/cheaper?
Its mainly for school stuff AND some games. I have main PC at home, but I will be commuting between two houses and dont want to be without games while I am at the other house.
A single Thunderbolt 4 Type-C port gives you video-out, daisy chain capabilities, and support for resource-demanding peripherals including storage bay arrays and hubs. You can also leverage Bluetooth 5.2 technology to connect wireless peripherals such as mice and headphones for a cable-free experience.
@high radish can you fix the link? your : hmm: is breaking it
🙂
its very sad to see 3090s for that price
I'm quite tempted
having a big emote doesnt make that gpu any worse of a deal
^
If I downgrade 6600xt to 6600 would there be any major difference?
This should help you compare
https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/903768190717411339/981666325866885180/unknown.png
Lol seems a bit off
6650xt<2070s?
Not exact, demonmit made it based off timespy i think it's a rough guide
Ah so drivers aren't taken into account as much?
Issue is, if you did that with Arc currently, it'd be way way higher on the chart than actual real use would see
Get the mp33 pro
Only a little more for much better preformance
The mp33 pro is not much better in real world performance
also ^
i literally use a wd green sata ssd here and it's honestly ntb
im sure mp33 is pretty good for any real world usage that's not too reliant on sequentials
Yeah it can have a little issue with super long writes since dramless but typically normal people aren't doing that much
Yeah i saw
Asus tuf 12GB 3080 was $750 at Walmart. Hold onto your wallets a while.
70 ti issues(or skill/case/ambient temp issue) . TuF is better than the ftw3 though, on most models
Apart from 2x8P issues, TUF 80/90 has amazing PCBs. Close to the best one can get, and is the best you can get for the price most of the time in terms of PCB quality
Tho, $800 Strix 3080 12GB (if that still exists) do be making TUF a mildly hard choice
Basically it's $50 for TuF cooler, $100 for Strix card VS FE. Yep it's still available (on amazon at least). Decent price or not, tbh I consider 2ports a plus. Gonna UV anyways & 50+ % higher watttage is a moderate increase from Pascal, regardless of performance.
Do you have a Microcenter nearby?
I figured, I think microcenter is the only one in stock right now
Oh wait
$799
Strix gang best gang

What's worse, Gigabyte or MSI
