I'd recommend just seeing if uninstalling some of the programs that came with it be default help but yeah if not then that's fair upgrade, gaming and watching a movie shouldn't be using 90% ram tho unless you're playing like flight sym 2020 or something

I have a Cyberpower desktop with 24.0 GB that uses a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 graphics card. I use four 24" 1080 resolution monitors but want to upgrade to 4k monitors. I have several; questions. Does the GTX 960 support 4k resolution? If not, can I upgrade the graphics card? Or would I be better off buying a new desktop? Another possibility would be to use my hp Spectre laptop to run the additional monitors. It has an Intel(R)Iris(R)Xe Graphics, which I believe allows two extra displays. So, I could run two 4k monitors of 28 to 32" or larger and probably be able to fit more images and details than I currently can fit on my four 24" 1080 monitors. What do you think would be best?

The max resolution supported by the 960 is 2560x1600, so if you want to run even a single 4k monitor you need a much newer gpu. Something in the 20 or 30 series probably.
The iris xe supports up to 8k (4x4k), so you can do 2x 4k displays on that easily. Size of the display doesn't matter, only resolution.

(just don't expect high refresh on the iris with 2x 4k running)

It's far better in single-core for the price. 20% IPC boost over the 3600 for about the same wattage, I actually get better temps with the 5600X than I did with the 3600 using the same Hyper 212 RGB and Noctua thermal paste.
