also keyboard looks a little worn
there's this
pretty nice ngl
i got one myself, 2023 model a15
very fancy stuff lol
almost 6d left though
just found a i7 9750h+1660ti laptop for $500, so not the best deal, but decent
that looks about right
And right next to it I found a brand new acer nitro with a 12th gen i7+4050
For $500
dang
link?
if it's legit just go for it, no questions asked
4050 is pretty good little gpu, i have it myself lel
you can scribble out your location
you asked for a link lol
i meant like doodle over sensitive info
anyway
with price this low i'd want to meet up locally
it's just suspiciously cheap
these specs are like typically 1k
ikr
sadly I still need to sell a few things to afford it, but it seems to not be selling, as it's been listed for 2 weeks
sounds like it's a scam listing

yeah no that's a huge red flag
dude probably takes pics of his new laptop when it was still in the box
but then acts as if he's sellin it at a huge loss
Anyways gtg, thanks for the help
Nice deal on that Lenovo, we just got my wife’s pc from them and it came in quick and no issues at all. Fired right up
They did a good job on the wiring as well
Got 12700 & 3070 for like $800
I wouldnt post individual amazon warehouse links since there's normally such limited stock, often just 1 or 2, kinda like posting individual eBay listings without multiple in stock
First come first serve tho 😎
Easily the best one, except no XMP for ram
Is it back?
thats a different pc from tech deals if thats what youre wondering
$28.99/TB if someone wants to buy 3 x Solidigm P41 plus for some reason, interesting sale. https://www.newegg.com/solidigm-1tb-p41-plus/p/N82E16820329021
--Thinking about 1 of these for OS duty to replace sn550, lol.
Ngl that’s a great deal for anybody building and selling
Like one boot, one family one misc drive, or an investment for each build
it's gone!

That Jonsbo mATX case really limits you on CPU cooler height
but it's smol
https://www.microcenter.com/product/667264/powercolor-amd-radeon-rx-7600-fighter-dual-fan-8gb-gddr6-pcie-40-graphics-card Powercolor RX 7600 is $230 now
Put a less spicy CPU in it
No fun in that
not much of a deal considering 6600xt exists
is 6600xt better
Its a lot cheaper for a similar effect
7600 is like 12% better for near double the price
wowzers
I mean, it is faster
But you can save like 40-50 by getting a 6600 and then buy extra storage
Or a better psu
I’m planning on getting the 6700
Nice
just cause of the vram tho
If I could go back and rebuild that's what I would have done too
Well, kind of
Some games run on ultra 1080p and some need tweaking in the settings
Like RE2 remake needed some fiddling but then like Apex Legends runs with zero meddling
Like going into the video settings and disabling some things here and there, or setting the draw distance down a little bit, etc etc
oh
Some games are fine and some still stutter
But if you're shelling out for the extra vram at 1080p you probably won't run into that
worth it
Like with my 6600 games like RE2R or Forspoken stutter very occasionally
And I see in the settings it's partly because the vram is maxed at 8gb
(Partly because forspoken is garbage but still)
is it like a 1 second stutter or
6600 is not worth it instead of 7600
6600xt, might be depending on price diff
And or 6650xt
im very budget vram hunter
6700 and 7600 are similar, 6700 only worth if within like $20-30 more than 6700
Then you'd want a 6700xt
12gb
Could find 6800, which I think I'd 16gb, for $250-300 used potentially
eh
What's the budget for the whole build?
gonna read the entirety of building a pc for dummies
And have you bought anything?
750$
no
You have access to a microcenter?
5600x3d mobo and ram bundle for $300 would be great, unless 5600x or similar bundle is like $250 or cheaper
was planning for that
Psu, there's a tier list pinned in #cases-psu-and-cooling
You'd want atleast a C tier psu, but I'd aim for A or B if it isn't too much more
i have all the parts in mind
Mind if I look them over?
Which is a great choice, 5600x3d is not super far behind the 7600, and is $80 more than just the 7600 alone
Depending on the prices on cases microcenter has, this might be a good option
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/3ZVXC6
Part List - Phanteks Eclipse G300A (1 Fan) ATX Mid Tower
G300a is a great case just needs some more fans, and that 3 pack of fans is cheap and are good quality
It's the link in the white or yellow box
Depends on if you're on mobile or pc
Mobile is white
Part List - Radeon RX 6700, Phanteks Eclipse G300A (1 Fan) ATX Mid Tower
You can't mismatch ram kits, well atleast not unless you know the ram die matches
Ram die depends on manufacturer of the die, hynix, Samsung, or micron
If it doesn't match, can cause issues and often won't be able to run xmp
Oh was that not meant to be there?
Also you'll probably need a cooler, unless you have one already?
yeah
the 5600x3d doesn’t come with the amd cooler
but I can order the same one on amazon
Same one?
good idea
stock cooler is loud anyway
I'd get a thermalright silver soul 110 or 135
Or ft120
$29.90 or $35.90 for 110 or ft120
is there a good cooler for 20 bucks
should i look that up
So normally I'd say smthn like this https://pcpartpicker.com/product/Js2WGX/thermalright-assassin-x-refined-se-argb-6617-cfm-cpu-cooler-ax120-refined-se-argb
Foxy probably knows if you wanna wait for him to say smthn
radical
This one might be a few degrees better, but the extra fan doesn't help that much like a dual tower cooler does https://pcpartpicker.com/product/BTpQzy/thermalright-assassin-x-120-refined-se-plus-6617-cfm-cpu-cooler-ax120r-se-plus-d6
it ain't 5800x3d, the toasty boi
got it
https://www.amazon.com/Thermalright-Assassin-Cooler-Heatpipes-TL-C12C/dp/B0B1D84DCN another option is skip 2nd fan for a 5th heatpipe. $17.90 currently (ARGB model)
nice
I think that's a long ah link
get over it young lady
😂
this would be better
I’m gonna buy a 1tb ssd
country?
@foggy coral Your new ad that just came out lists a $999 sapphire card at $20, someone reversed the discount amount and discounted price values
USA
Afaik that's b tier
haha i saw that and I was so lost
Game Storage
you have to use the promo code
Bet, thanks
wait so it is actually listed at the rpice?
no, thats how i found out that the values were switched, the discount is $20 off the 999
@zenith tartan @marsh sphinx Thanks for getting this to my attention! I'm looking into this with our Marketing Team at the moment. Sorry about that!
I mean, ive got $20 if you wanna honor it
yeah thats what happened
fr lmao
actual price is alright
I'm not going to say I googled to see if I could force a company to honor clearly mislabled pricing, but I'm also not not saying that
with a 7700x and 3080, unless you're playing like esports at 1080p you're gpu bound
if you want a spicier upgrade, i'd suggest waiting for 8800x3d or whatever
Yea I’m more of 1080p esports guy
I used my friends 1440 180hz moniter didn’t really feel like the different was good enough for me
That 6800xt is normal pricing
its 50 dollars cheaper compared to newegg
unless its this code applied on amazon
The asrock 6800xt has been 500 for months
Hence normal pricing
That "sale" has been going on and off for literally months very consistently on tho
Limited-time deal: Intel Core i9-12900K Gaming Desktop Processor with Integrated Graphics and 16 (8P+8E) Cores up to 5.2 GHz Unlocked LGA1700 600 Series Chipset 125W https://a.co/d/fZ4zcLe
is this a good deal?
55% off
is the 13600k better?
Overall in all ways
Not really in multi core but both has a lot of cores to begin with
btw we generally list the price of the deal as well in tech deals
huge single core advantage, think its about equal in multi
ye
13600k is a bit weaker
new egg labor day thingy majig yay
So if i’m building a new super computer
what cpu should I get
Intel Core i5-13600K Desktop Processor 14 cores (6 P-cores + 8 E-cores) 24M Cache,up to 5.1 GHz ASUS ROG Strix Z690-F Gaming WiFi 6E LGA1700(Intel 12th Gen) ATX Gaming Motherboard(PCIe 5.0,DDR5,16+1) https://a.co/d/6R3qZ0S
this bundle seem valid
tasty deals
You cannot build a super computer
What are you using your pc for
And what is your budget
i’m just buying part by part so i don’t really have a crazy budget but i’m willing to drop like 300-350 on cpu
gpu hopefully can get a great one for 500-600
You don't wanna buy part by part, because if something is dead on arrival you won't know until you have everything
that bundle looks enticing tbh
And by then you'll be out of return window
true
ya gaming
Then one sec
7600 matches the 13600k in gaming https://pcpartpicker.com/list/7FwrTn
Part List - AMD Ryzen 5 7600
That's also cheaper than the 13600k bundle and it includes ram
And won't need a separate cooler, the stock cooler that the 7600 comes with is fine for the 7600
is that the correct link
I'd always recommend waiting until you have enough to buy a functional pc for return windows and you don't want it so by the time you have the pc running new components come out that outperform the one you purchased for the same price
Yes?
You are not building a super computer i fsn tell you that anyway, they're like multimillion dollar servers that Nvidia and the likes have
^
I know you know what i meant tho
But anyways
my current pc is a r9 fury sapphire with a i5 7600k
13600k doesn't make sense to buy if you're gaming
what
Oh so you already have a pc, that makes this make more sense buying part by part
Do you know what power supply and storage you have?
1st ones crap, 2nd is decent
Hmm 7600 is 25% slower than 13600k
probably not matters for gaming but just to mention
That is multi core.
EVGA 850 GQ 850 W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply
That's a decent enough psu, depending on gpu you get you might want to change it in the future but for now it's fine
Oh also what case do you have?
In gaming they're basically identical tho
Or better
Yeah . I think they have Similar single core . But at multicore 13600k is way better
Yes but that is irrelevant for this conversation
Well yeah but that doesn't matter for a gaming oc
Anyways there was good 7600 bundles at newegg but now can't find one
Saying "the 7600 is 25% slower than the 13600k" is extremely misleading in this conversation
Sry. Forgot to mention at multicore
I heard amd cpus are trash
Maybe hop over to #building-and-recc-chat everyone
Imagine buying kaboom cpu
what is kaboom cpu
Amd CPUs
whatt no way
Some of them explodes lol
well atleast its some
i think ima go with one of those 1300k bundles
Over to #building-and-recc-chat please
@grand orbit they've gotta get a few more people to buy MW2022 right before mw2023 releases haha
exactly lol
Its a different game. Not a DLC.
They are, all of them
(JK I daily a 7700x)
Lol beat me to it

Alright, I know I was asking for a $500 laptop a few days ago, but since then I've increased my budget and want to see what my options are. I'm looking for a $800-1000 ($1000 being the absolute max) gaming laptop used mainly for gaming when I'm not able to use my pc. Playing apex legends, forza horizon 5, cod mwII, and some other lower end games, at whatever the native laptop display resolution is at the highest settings I can play at 120 fps avg. Size, weight, looks, and noise don't matter to me.
Or I could just hold out until black friday to see if there are any good deals then.
honestly I haven't seen any good sales, but I did find a pretty good used alienware
this is the deal https://www.ebay.com/itm/195955072778
not too good of a deal, but one of the better ones I've found. Especially with that 1440p 240hz display
I alr have a good PC, and I game off my PC all the time, along with the fact that the cheap laptop can barely connect to an external monitor.
*the cheap laptop that I have
is it cheap
to be fair, the specs aren't bad, I'm just upgrading because of the atrocious 512mb vram
I heard his laptop was cheap though
For 1k I've seen better, new from best buy tbh
I've been looking for a while and haven't seen much better (4070 performs the same without fg on to the 3070 ti)
Yeah there was a 4070 tuf on best buy for 1k, way nicer laptop then the Alienware one too
What was the display?
Ah no longer on sale, it was a 15.6" 144hz ips i think
Honestly build quality is the least of my concerns, so if the main specs (cpu, GPU, display) are better then anything else at that price, I'll get it
1080p display if I'm remembering the same one
Noise, build rigidity, looks, keyboard, and trackpad do not matter to me, as long as they're functional it's fine with me
Well that generally includes cooling as well and stuff so that's a bit important
Pretty good mindset, same tbh
And if it doesn't overheat, ofc
The Alienware is 1440p 240hz so
1080p is fine for 15"
Tbh I can barely see the difference between my 1080p 15" and my 4k 17"
Ik, there was also a r9 5900hx version with a 1080p 360hx display, although the GPU was just a 3070 for the same price
That's a good one
Ngl I might get that, but is it better just to wait for black Friday?
Possibly? That's a magic 8 ball question
Tech continues to creep down, just a matter of when you need it imo
From what I remember, it's only expensive laptops got any substantial price drop, and even then the price was still high
I remember last black friday, GPUs were getting mad cheap as well as CPUs, but most of anything else was insignificant
PSU?
There might be a sale on something you bought, except its 20% off what you bought it for 2 months later
Yes but again, magic 8 ball question
Laptops are always something I'm unsure about
If the price is good now it's possible it could be way better later or arguably even worse
Laptops used to be at one point, 650 for a 3060m
Which was insane
We haven't dropped again ever to that point
I'll keep a look out for the next week or two on the local market to see if there are any new laptop deals
If I see an insane deal I'll jump on it.
who got better deals newegg or micro center
Microcenter but it varies
Newegg might have some deals that are better randomly but overall microcenter
Most of microcenters are in store only tho
generally prices fluctuate between platforms. you just have to stay on top of it to see what platform has the best price for that item
@tight blade there are cheaper 3060s than that. And for $270 you could get an rx6700. Or a 6650xt, 6600xt, or 6600
If someone is absolutely completely dead set on Nvidia they should spend the extra $25 on this https://pcpartpicker.com/product/NJvdnQ/pny-verto-geforce-rtx-3060-ti-lhr-8-gb-video-card-vcg3060t8ldfbpb1
^
Ffs that's 4060 price lol even if you where to do silly Nvidia comparison
Tbh $320 3060 ti isn't really bad compared to $330 6700xt, the less vram is the main thing I'd consider
THE 4060 IS 5$ CHEAPER
I've not heard much about the 4060
I'm assuming it's far worse than 3060 ti lol
Considering 4060 ti is a renamed 3060 ti
I didn't even consider it, oops
I didn't bother watching the reviews, knew it was gonna be crap value
Same
Looks like 3060ti is maybe 13% faster than the 4060 so the gap is less than the 3060
Because it doesn't? https://youtu.be/R_wfUTlf5Ns?si=yXstqt442r_9zA7X

Granted it's a small difference
(I'm using a 4060 right now) I'm being insulted
I using 4060 laptop
Same here
I'm using a 4060 phone
4060 on laptop is decent actually
It really is
Add it with a ryzen and you have a really efficient laptop
I get around 10 hours of casual schoolwork and a little cad out of mine
4060 laptop, good, 4060 desktop way to close to 3060 perf
For sure
Yeah my laptop have 7840hs and it stays up over 6hours while working on
What laptop? I have the g14 with the 7940hs
Lenovo loq15
Nice
This one but slapped 32gb ram 2tb ssd
Build quality is not great but using it gentle anyways
That's what kinda pushed me off of getting one of those
I carry mine around basically all day for college so I wanted something well built
Just wish Asus sold the g14 in black in the model I wanted in the us
I using laptop for work . Doing easy works on laptop when I'm outside
it's pretty powerful and have decent battery life
is a 6750 xt for 340 good
It may be a Lenovo prebuilt based off of an office computer, but a 12700 and a 3060 12gb for $550...
If new sure
Good deal
6750xt is a bit better than 3070
I shoulda swapped the order I sent those messages
It's already in #tech-deals-discussion you posted it
Oh is it back in stock now?
Just posted a message, thanks
Oh slight change in price. Since I had the think marked as "look at later", Lenovo have an extra 7% off
So it's $595 for everyone else.
Who knows, maybe favorite it and you got an extra $50 off
it is a bit hard telling myself my 5700xt and 5600 is good enough with a price like that
Especially that 12gb vram 👀
5700xt beats 3060 tho
In games
Ahh ok
Used 3060 12gb you could probably get for $200 or less tho
Still, I'm assuming you'd benefit from the far better multi core cpu perf?
I also had to oc to beat my 5900x score
Yeah nah 12700 is worse
But you could unlock pl potentially, im not sure if the motherboard would let you
That would make a noticeable difference if you could
It's a bit cheaper than normal for new but they've been available for like 360 for a while new
There's some difference
Cpu is hardly ever used in ai anyway
12700 is no way 20% better in single core
Than a 5600
Idk why I always use cinebench 💀
It's just what I have knowledge of
I've never looked into the scoring of other cpu benchmarks
It helps that I've used both chips and benched then with cinebench ig
On avg it's about 12-16% from GN tests in games , more than i thought tho
Huh, interesting
except in CSGO because they love amd cpus
and COD, gpu wise anyway
Well it doesn't crash with my 5700xt and I can run low-mid at 1440p 70fps
So I guess so
it looks like micro center added a new 12900k motherboard bundle
pretty cool
I honestly want it, sadly I live over 1000 miles from one
Nice prices tbh
7700x bundle at same price or $50 more worth it over it if gaming tho
I just want more cores honestly, since my current cpu is doing just fine with gaming, not so much with video editing.
it's alright
im thinking about it
then this would be a better option imo, but $100 more https://www.microcenter.com/product/5006465/intel-core-i7-12700k,-msi-z690-a-pro-wifi-ddr4,-gskill-ripjaws-v-16gb-ddr4-3200-kit,-computer-build-bundle
so maybe not
nvm don't get that one, there's a better amd one for $50 more. this would probably be best for you https://www.microcenter.com/product/5006542/amd-ryzen-5-5600x3d,-asus-tuf-gaming-b550-plus-wifi-ii-ddr4,-g-skill-ripjaws-v-16gb-ddr4-3200-kit,-computer-build-bundle
yeah I was gonna get that one
yeah, it's pretty good for midrange builds
sadly I live in washington state, where there are no electronic stores anywhere near me other than best buy.
damn
Ah that makes sense
That 12900k bundle is great then
The 5600x3d is an amazing bundle
5600x3d pog
It games better than the 12600k/13400f
ok
but I really don't need it since I have better things to buy, and since I don't video edit all that often
would an apevia 600w be good for a 5600x3d
Though actually one sec
and a Rx 6700
And yes, but depends on gpu
Yeah should be fine
And one sec, ima check smthn for cpu
ok
Yeah that 5600x3d bundle would be a good idea, this is $16 more and worse cpu perf, but more ram https://pcpartpicker.com/list/s3vJNc
Part List - Intel Core i5-12600K
But you can just get an identical 16gb kit of that g.skill ram or sell it and buy the 32gb kit I linked in that pcpartpicker list
I believe this is the same thing https://pcpartpicker.com/product/Cf98TW/gskill-ripjaws-v-series-16-gb-2-x-8-gb-ddr4-3200-cl16-memory-f4-3200c16d-16gvkb
it is
Not a specific deal but I'm on a few game key selling/trading subreddits and Starfield keys are going pretty fast. If you get an AMD gpu or cpu bundled with starfield but don't intend on playing it, the ultimate edition (lets you play a week early, I think) is going for $50-60, standard for a bit less.
those codes are long expired now
Yeah I just checked, indeed gone. I thought I'd post first in case someone could catch it.
Ye same
prolly 1/1
Nah they just didn't have a lot of units available
$220 13600kf would've been a solid buy tho
Was unavailable even after 20 min of the video's release

assassin creed mirage lookin nice but i hope whatever game AMD gives out next is good
Not sure to post this or not, 1tb z440 and 32gb 6400c40, $123 after 9% clipped coupon https://www.amazon.com/TEAMGROUP-T-Force-6400MHz-FF3D532G6400HC40BDC01-TM8FP7001T0C311/dp/B09SNRX467/?

Part List
I'd say the kit you have there is better too so yea
Ye
Ok so guys
Hear me out
Cooler Master is taking the Hyper Series legacy to the next level with the introduction of the Hyper 620S, a high-performance air cooler featuring six heat pipes. This cooler's dual tower and dual fan design effectively dissipate heat, making it capable of handling the latest CPUs available on th...
Thermalright ones are like 3$ cheaper tho
And there's ft120 which is 7 piles
Yeah I wonder how they compare
First decent priced cooler master cooler in quite a while though, no?
Probably super similar to PA120. Piles? Ft120 is 6 pipes last I checked btw.
Yeah ps120 se is same price
https://pcpartpicker.com/product/MzMMnQ/thermalright-phantom-spirit-120-se-argb-6617-cfm-cpu-cooler-ps120se-argb
Ps120 is definitely 7 heat pipes
Referred to this
Yeah ft120 is 6 heat pipes
This is $35 https://pcpartpicker.com/product/HCrqqs/gelid-solutions-glacier-70-cfm-cpu-cooler-cc-glacier-02-a
I feel like that's a new record
poor lad
All my homies hate the 3060
just slap a ti sticker on it and cope
What a scam ok not a scam but a somewhat scummy move on Nvidia's part knowing that a certain amount of people will buy the cheapest card in the lineup, then tacking on extra vram to grab a few more people.
I guess it's good if you want to do AI on a budget
I was thinking of getting this one, but it only has 4 heatpipes (which are 8mm instead of 6mm) is it still good? https://www.amazon.com/Thermalright-FS140-V3-Aluminium-Technology/dp/B097DVSKM1/
There's also the non-black edition for $41
I just want the best performance at lowest volume (like most people)
Ps120 se
Or just go for thermalright notte 240 or 360 if either fits your case, if you're concerned about noise
Theyre $50-63
planning on putting a 12900k under it. It should be fine, but the 12900k does get hot
Notte 360 ftw
Also we migjtve gone over this before idk, but in case we haven't unless 12900k is in a bundle or you're getting it cheaper than 13600k don't buy it
Would consider an aio for a 12900k
I want to get the microcenter 12900k bundle with the msi mobo
Kk I thought that was the case but wanted to check
I'd keep my 12400, but I really need the cores
Thanks for making sure I'm not wasting money
I was considering a lt720, but it's expensive
Yeah lol, a lot of people who want i9s don't actually need the cores and just think they're good for gaming
I'd go for the notte 360
Notte 360 + contact frame would be sufficient
I've helped at least 300 people with their builds last year, so I think I should be fine. I'm just not fully caught up with all the new prices
Like, in the sense a tower cooler wouldn't work? No that'd be wrong, but to tap the full perf of a 12900K? Aio 100%
Lmao fair enough
I can't find a video about the notte reviewing temps and such
Otherwise if you're after thread count you might find more luck in a 13600k
more expensive then the 12900k bundle
We were tipped off to it a while ago and learned it uses C12C's with a new pump, it basically sits within reach of the best at $67
The magic 360 (upgraded version) uses rebadged noctuas and is even better while still cheaper
Yeah its unbeatable in price/perf
Thermalright has been on a roll with its pricing and performance recently
I saw it in a couple people's builds selling locally, that's how I found it. I just thought it was a lower end aio with sub-par performance
It's an intel aio though, it has issues with ryzen ccd heat offset
fine with me
But thankfully ryzen 7000 is just so hilariously ihs bottlenecked that even a decent dual tower is fine for a 7950x
So notte fits the bill for a lot of reccs
Notte my beloved

Atp I'm just waiting for thermalright to start making gpu aibs
Because they have not missed with a product in a hot minute
I was thinking of buying something like this for 3d rendering, gaming, and video editing https://pcpartpicker.com/list/K7FYTY
Part List - Intel Core i9-12900K, GeForce RTX 3090, Phanteks Eclipse P400A Digital ATX Mid Tower
Mmm
you can't add a back fan with an aio up top iirc
micro center?
Psu I'd spend $5 more for xpg core reactor, it handles transients a lot better than the cooler master in there, which the 3090 has high transients
yeah
The 64gb is necessary but I'd do 2x32 if you can
Maybe g500a then?
4 sticks on msi z690 is notoriously annoying to run (ddr5)
Micro center bundle lol
there's also a gigabyte mobo if needed
Yeah you'd be lucky to get 5600mhz with a 12th gen cpu and z690 with 4 sticks
Asus (derogatory)
where is that
I would try asking the micro center guys at the counter if they'd be willing to accept you changing to 2x32 for the same deal
^and paying the difference
since I don't live near a micro center I'm getting my cousin to buy the bundle and ship it over, so I can't really do that
Oof ok
ask him to ask them
I mean, no harm in trying 4x16 ig on a new bios but I get the feeling you'll be playing with voltages a bit for that xmp to work
Maybe I'm wrong who knows, I don't own a pro-A
that shouldn't make too much of a performance difference.
I could also do this
but with shipping it'd probably cost as much as a 13600k+mobo+ram
I mean it will either way, no?
honestly maybe
let me check
nvm 13600k + ram is already more expensive
Part List - Intel Core i5-13600K
Probably wisest then to pony up a 64gb 2x32 kit if it doesn't work out on 4x16
And sell the 2x16
Part List - Intel Core i5-13600KF
Or just sell the 2x16 straight up and go 2x32
You could sell the 2x16 new
So you wouldn't lose anything
maybe, but it'd take some fees
maybe

yay the combo of 3 1tb p41 solidigm at 87 bucks is back
Oooo
alu case better than plastic
whoops
Depends on the drive going in it and your budget
I bought this one for my sn850x and it's been working flawlessly but for a cooler running/lower performance drive you could probably save some money https://www.amazon.com/Plugable-Tool-free-Enclosure-Thunderbolt-Compatible/dp/B07N48N5GR
Performance USB 3.1 Gen 2 and NVMe SSDs let us exceed SATA III SSD performance. The Plugable USBC-NVME M2 Enclosure is capable of raw read and write speeds up to 10 Gbps, compared to 6 Gbps with traditional SSDs. Performance of the SSD NVME adapter depends on the capabilities of your NVMe SSD and...
Hmmm.. 27” 1080p and VA. Wonder how it’d look though
Curved gang
It more depends on panel quality than panel type . There's decent VA panels that better than some cheap ips panels
the bot doesn't always react to my posts for up/downvote and I don't know why lol
You guys think this deal is real? https://www.ebay.com/itm/386090130478?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=ewndx2bctxa&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=rfwtaxojsdg&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
He shows the laptop
Yeah? Did you even look at it?

if it was only used to edit then it can’t be that bad
shipped from a warehouse in china
Then it says ships from Michigan
is there messaging on ebay
if anything it's either real or a waste of time
Very likely a scam
New seller, pics are of strix g15 advantage edition
Not usual nvidia equipped ones, but rather all amd
It's the red accents that gives it away
reverse google search photo
I wouldn't even bother
lol
There's red flags all around
GL543Q
That's model name of g15 advantage
Maybe I'll show you my nvidia laptop with red accents. 😉
Red could be the theme because of the CPU
Is the ram good?
If it's truly a-die, then yes.
Which I'm thinking it is with the timings.
A die?
Hynix A and M die are very good for overclocking.
Can you check idk how to do that
I'm not well versed in which die ram is.
Oh ok
@high radish Amazon be telling me it's a frequently returned item. How good is the ram?
I mean it’s cl34 which is bad I think
No
Idk
I said I think
I think they returning it because it blue screens if you use 4 slots
And turning on xmp
My current oc is 7000 c38 40 40 90. I haven't tightened yet.
Chances are that ram is already tuned for secondaries. Might be able to tune tertiaries, but if you aren't versed in OC then it will be difficult. Especially since DDR5 is more difficult than OC DDR4
They’re having problems with xmp so they returning it but I’m pretty they got fixed idk tho
Could be that the boards they have don't support 7200
Probably
I don’t neeed 7000 so I’m prob gonna go lower
I had no issue with teamgroup rams before
I think I had not exacr same kit before but lots of delta rgb ddr5s and never had issue
Depends on mobo I’m psure
You usually have pretty high end boards yeah?
Also do you think there’s gonna really good deals on cyber Monday and Black Friday?
Usually pretty good deal yes.
Aight I think imma wait until then
That and fantastech/prime day are the 2 times a year you'll find good deals on a lot of stuff.
Usually yeah . I mostly using Asus mobos as well
What’s fantastech?
That's not to say that you won't find a stellar deal before then though.
Newegg Prime Day essentially
Except it's for like a week
I always keeping my eye on deals . Deals can be every second
When?
Keep me posted on good deals for budget pc
Starts right around prime day. It's already passed this year.
Labor day sales are meh. probably best time is black friday and new year eve now for deals
Except newegg price errors
Do they exist?
Never seen one before
What did you get from it
I still don't know how newegg still going on with that much errors
I recently got 12900k + Z690 force bundle for 350$ , 12700k + Z690 force for 240$ , teamgroup 32gb 6000mhz kit for 53$ etc
Because they get parts at cost.
Which is much less than we pay.
Even on sale.
Are they good?
I missed out ong
Amazon does lots of price errors as well . They're better than newegg tho . Newegg sometimes cancelling orders but amazon not ever bothering
Cuz bezos has all the money
Have you gotten stuff on Amazon? And did you post any here?
My Last crazy buy from amazon was gigabyte 4090 for 999$
Like 2 months ago or something
💀💀💀💀
4090 is wild
Lucky as hell
You should send me these when you find ong
I trying to share fast as possible but those deals getting oos in minutes
I’m broke as hell maybe I can make money with reselling stuff
You should share to me lol I’m on discord most do the time 💀
The white strix 4090, is it also from price error?
I reselling stuff as well but shipping them overseas
middle east people are rich
Ong lol
Where do you resell mostly
I’m trynna sell my ps1 and Nintendo lite
Sadly no lol I paid 2.2k for it
Should’ve kept the gigabyte one
Did you sell that one?
You should sell your white one for more profit and kept the gigabyte one imo
But I love strix

Real it looks clean
Turkey, Georgia, Armenia Azerbaijan etc . Those countries don't have good retailers and they love shopping from US
I meant like site lol
I used ebay for a while but later I run business so I have Instagram page ,payment & invoice systems etc now . Taking orders , building PCs mostly , throwing boxes away , invoicing lower price and and lebelling it as used item so they pay less money to customs
Using cargo forward companies as well. There's lots of them in my state. Shipping expensive stuff with postal service is not wise
ok
Best I can tell is use old account if you have . Buyers getting scared of new accounts. List items as international. Put original pics of item and write description easy as possible because foreigners not knowing English well lol
This sounds illegal.

@uncut portal if you wanna grab that
@azure pond what would be the highest CPU that could cool adequately?
@azure pond spam ping ❤️ I don't wanna miss out on a deal if it's a really good one.
Idk maybe
If its anything like the thermalright peerless assassin I would assume it could handle mid range cpus
So probably up to a 13600k?
That's what I was hoping, but 13600k is mid range?
I was just making a guess with the 13600k and just basing my assumptions on video reviews of the peerless assassin
Hopefully, come this black Friday, the pa120se will go back down to ~$32. It was once that price and I didn't grab one
Yeah, I just can't seem to find anything on the 620s except on a 5600x sub 60c under a heavy gaming session.
Was hoping bacca knew something about it.
Took a video from a recent hardware canuck video. Just has the pa120se and ps120se
If this thing is based off of, cloned, or inspired by the ak620, I would assume its results would be comparable to that
would say it's not
one is 6>5 heat pipes the other 6>6
oh no I'm seeing it wrong, both full 6
nvm
idk
Sorry, my monke brain sees ak620, cooler master 620s, and I assume cooler master is at least ""inspired"" by it
It's definitely better than a single tower but I wouldn't pin it anywhere near the high end without a proper source
With a legally distinct but functionally similar design
I mean, it could be? But who knows
let's see if I can find anything
the 622 has intel issues
looks like a successor to the 620p
ok I think it's a derivative of the 622 which just came out
like a cheapo variant?
It seems to do well on the Ryzen side of things but for Intel it's not up with the best
(would also make the argument AK620 is usually better than the D15S)
yeah here we go, if not noise normalised cos the deepcool fans are just noisy af
so it's very usable, but it's not top tier, not by a long shot, just very usable
it'll be the same heatsink just different fans or aesthetics
that's potentially nice for $25
does i tell make good gpus now?
this arc stuff
and these labor day sales have been terrivle
terrible
Yeah laber day sales are sux .. i think next good sales gonne be at black friday and new year eve
intel have alright GPUs but still have long way to go with drivers
thank you
can anyone send a good 13700k mobo bundle again
13600k and any am5 cpu
Potentially 13700k
I'd just treat it as another pa120 se
The a750 and a770 are decent yeah, basically 3060 ish performance
They're improved hugely
Yeah I gues we will see midrange gpus from intel soon
?
It’s an okay deal
I bought my XV27U for refrub at 180$ on amazon
Hold on
Nvm it’s not for sale anymore
this is the 32" version though
Ik
They've been 500 flat for a bit, you might see more sales on 7800xt release
bet
Edit: misread. I'll just say ne is unlikely to match 'zon since it's not brick n mortar
I don't see how you get the g300a for 50 instead of 60 tbh
Generally won't, but they mean price match amazon for their current $60 then NE $10 rebate. Wouldn't waste my time, unlike the $40 cooler master rebate I'm waiting on for haf xb evo.
Ngl I’d still try myself, 10$ goes to fans.
even though it’d probably take 2 months for the rebate
I usually don't buy things expecting a rebate. I buy based on price at time of purchase. If a rebate happens to be available, then I'll send it in.
@azure pond am i high? first optinon is see when mwe on cultist
dont see it in A at all
Alright laptop pros, I've got someone looking for a laptop for mostly office tasks and browsing around the $500-600 range. Any suggestions?
i mean still b tier but 850w b tiers dont make huge amount of sense
I'd consider a 850W B tier to be equal to a 750W A tier in most things, but that might just be me
I just want high watt but kinda less price so I don’t gotta upgrade my psu a lot
Quality over quantity
Real but like what’s the difference between tiers anyways
Like how much power you consume? Or like save?
eh, it would be fine aside from high transients
They all work
specifically that model iirc has issues with transient loads, and would shutdown with 3090/ti, but it should be fine with a 4080
which a 750w A tier would be too, so fair falcie
i mean it would my thing is if you need a cpu/gpu that requires an 850w, why arent you spending another 25 or so on an a tier
PSUs have been crazy prices lately, I've seen 850W B tier for a full $20 cheaper than 750W A tier
i mean xpg core reactor is thankfully 105 but
750w B tier are $90 rn
850 is $100 i think
therre might be one A tier for $90, either masterwatt or toughpower if either of those is A tier
or both? idk
$80 B tier https://pcpartpicker.com/product/tWMTwP/cooler-master-mwe-gold-850-v2-850-w-80-gold-certified-fully-modular-atx-power-supply-mpe-8501-afaag-us
$100 A tier (-$15 rebate) https://pcpartpicker.com/product/V7t9TW/thermaltake-toughpower-gf1-snow-tt-premium-750-w-80-gold-certified-fully-modular-atx-power-supply-ps-tpd-0750fnfagx-w
5 more no rebate 850w a tier
that is a rebate tho :p
That sure was a string of words
@jolly inlet id probably go with this btw https://www.newegg.com/classic-black-msi-modern-14-c7m-049us-work-business/p/N82E16834156445?Item=N82E16834156445
NE g300A is $40 after rebate but now $9 shipping for me.
-- obviously $10 low on this msg.

it shows 59$ to me

I see 59.99 -$10 rebate and +$9.30 shipping
But then when you hit more buying options, the one sold from newegg suddenly has no shipping?
Weird
Odd. I took off 10 too much in last comment, but idk why a 2nd post for it's near usual price. Oh well.
let’s go g300a
Maybe just edit your post's price because it's now wrong
Oh hey bacca, hoppy burfday
Tyty
Not really tbh
Ah okay, it was just out of curiosity
Also happy B-day
Is it mainly just last gen stuff going on sale?
last gen ddr5?
Well more in general, probably should’ve clarified
Since DDR5 is becoming more prominent
i mean ddr5 pricing in general is just reasonable atm
especailly if youre willing to oc it
DDR5 sure got good prices a lot faster than DDR4 did
Tbh for the performance gain over 32gb 3200c16 at $48, that's cheap
I remember maybe 5 years ago it was $100 for a 16gb 3200 c16 kit, and that was fairly late in the DDR4 life cycle
I remember $75 being a deal for a 1tb mp33
That was what, a year and a half ago?
Now that's a bad price for a 2tb mp33
I bought a 512gb mp33 for $40 a year and a half ago, and I think it's starting to fail me
I remember $100 being a good deal for a sata ssd. Still have both of mine, going strong
Yikes, early-ish adopter probs. My 1TB mx500 was $160 (2018).
Yeah my 1tb 860 Evo's were ~$100ea in 2019 I think
If only sata drive prices had kept dropping
I wonder if they're at a point where the margins after manufacturing are pretty slim
any decent deals rn on a 1tb nvme?
need one for a pc im gonna try and sell. sn770 is $50, samsung 970 evo is $50, crucial p3 $40
If m450 isn't back down to $25-$28, 670p is next best
its $37 rn, $27 with rebate
It was $25 on amazon for a short bit but $27 after rebate is normal
Msi has paperless rebates so it's easy to submit
Feeling slightly better now about paying 200 for a 970 lol
what’s the point of these newegg live streams
do they give discounts during the lives?
If they do its so small you don't notice
I'm pretty sure I got a nvme case for $1 off
But I can't remember
I think it's more to showcase items and answer faq
And do a little bit of trolling
If not for the fact I use Blender that 7900xtx is so damn tempting.
At blender 7900xtx performing worse than 4070 laptop lol
Exactly the reason I opted for a Nvidia laptop
Well blender has Optix for Nvidia and... nothing for AMD. Blender is insanely Nvidia optimized.
hey
?
Coupon applies at checkout
it’s that a question or a statement
It's a statement
ok
I was assuming you were asking about the price
yeah cause I usually see them for like 1k
If you're asking about the card, yes it's a good option
yeah ik
Come again bestbuy?
It calls the 4050 high end lol
I'm assuming it puts the 3050/ti at mid range
Which is an awful scale
It should have more than just three points anyways, but I get why they're advertising it like they are
I mean
Those infographics are definitely not for us
But I do appreciate them saying high-end so someone doesn't think it's a petty gpu
4060 is pretty capable
Especially with laptops
Capable, but I'd definitely not say high end
Well, yeah, but when you think there exist "gaming pcs" still out there with gt1030's
...💀
Can we go lower? 730 gaming?
Never seen a 730 one
