Was working on your reply haha, at work earlier. That's a good idea, kids get much bigger tv but you mostly get a better panel/screen to look at. Room size or distance from TV is a factor also. Of course if a 50 & 55" are $20 apart, that's a no brainer usually. USA and/or bestbuy etc around ya? btw best buy and amazon often price match, so do a bunch of others. Just a quick list, 3 QLED 3 LED. QLED isn't like O-LED I guess, it's more colors or something. I'm not sure. Edit: Link to Vizio, it's just the biggest of these 3 QLED. OLED seems common on many phones and all the colors and blacks look great, idk about how common w/ TV/monitors. Q-LED seems slightly gimmicky to me if that makes sense, or over-hyped perhaps because it's like a higher color gamut or something. A lot of non-QLED tvs look great still I bet. Rtings is a good website and it really helps to look at a few in-store, although in-store lighting is too bright and junk flourescent. ----oh right, there is he displays thread. oops

oh my i know nothing of that, you could check router settings, some routers can scan other wifi networks near you to check for interference, you can also check channel width and ofc is there are a lot of physical barriers from the router that could block signal

Chan 1 or 11 on the 2.4 band could be worth a try. 802.11n is quite effected by interference sometimes. Also, of course 5GHz speed drops off quick at farther ranges so being on 2.4 is likely.

@raw silo I'm with you on your last comment, frankly it was the 1st time I'd seen them in a AA size. What wouldn't be to like if they worked properly? 2000 mAh full 1.5V? You've got to be carefull buying them, check the mAh the batts are rated at, low hours & 1.2V can make for a short day, whatever it is.

I have had some old General Electric NI-Cd's that my dad had bought in the early 70's that lasted around 14 years, I have had Radio Shack Ni-Cd's that lasted over 10 years, and I use them for everything. I've since moved on to Ni-Mh because they don't gain a charging 'memory'.

Idk, full 1.5v & legit capacity would be good since that matches non-recharge AA'S I think. Hard to check mah, but voltage ez to check at least. The 1.2v eneloops are super well known and good for me because they're just in flashlights & remotes. Ni-Cd is funny, "works" forever but eventually they have like a 5min runtime. Of course leaving a battery at 0-10% charge for a week/month was a factor. For tools, my go to is Milwaukee. The batteries being so good (and well priced) doesn't hurt. No, I have the arris 6190 & would only go to a SB8200 or a Motorola MB8600/8611. For router, I'd make Asus an option. I'm happy w/ the AX88u & they have many good $200-300 choices. AX86u is 1 to lookup, pretty much best (gaming) router when it's normal priced. Meant to add asus has a pretty good "mesh" system as well if you end up more than 1 router of theirs. I'm just not familiar with modern netgear stuff, although the xr1000 is the clearly the best one with it's dumaOS 3.0 I've read a tiny bit about.

one end plugs into the left speaker and one goes into the pc the control knob is part of the cable. the pc end is 3.5 but I believe the speaker end is proprietary in size it looks slightly longer than the 3.5 and has a plastic bezel at the base

ok I cant take a look and yah volume control isn't necessary I have one on the keyboard and can use a hotkey for mute. I will try the console cable plugged into a y-splitter again shortly. I did double check the cable and the mute isn't currently on so I believe that was the case when I tested it last but its worth another go. The biggest issue is I am unsure if the headphone end will fit an aftermarket cable but cant seem to find much info. Will be going with a easier to acquire replacement parts company in the future for sure just sad the sound quality is great... when it works.

"Gaming" and "production" systems have very few real differences that anyone short of big productions care about

Do keep in mind there's no hardware difference in "gaming" and "production" branded laptops with the same specs, doesn't hurt to get the "gaming" laptop if it means better specs and therefore better hardware.

Only real difference might be some bloatware, but you can delete bloatware decently easily

the ac1200 is a router, were you looking for a router or just wifi. if you have cabling that budget could fit a pretty nice access point from netgear or ubiquiti. might need a poe adapter though
