Hello, I have just built a pc, but the m2 drive is not recognised by the computer. Is it possible I fried it during installation? (Accidentally dropped it at one point) or do I need to somehow change the settings?

It's a 7-8 year old design, it can't handle modern heat load. The only reviews I could find had 5000 series intel.

I thought of buying Corsair rgb fans and kept having second thoughts of ordering it in cart multiple times and then realized they're overrated so I thought why not use a led strip or cold cathode rods to brighten up my pc and make it a cool looking to look at it.

So what are your recommendations on LED strips probably with adhesive but I'd prefer magnetic ones

You're right about corsair being overrated. Their hardware is decent enough but they force you to use their stupid iCue software that hogs resources.
As far as light strips, pretty much any decently rated set of 3 pin rgb strips will work, as long as you have the 3 pin header.

The case fans are plugged into a controller, see if you can find it. If there's a plug open you can plug the cpu fan into it. Or you can see if the controller can plug into the motherboard.

I still do have one RGB fan spinning on the CPU cooler, but what I meant RGB fans being overrated is seeing every people’s builds full of Rainbow Poop and lotta RGB lights lol. I respect their opinion and their likes but still it’s overrated (shrug)

I did have a previous pc case where it had bit of RGB action and i still liked it however I wont be jumping on RGB bandwagon lol. 🙂

Imma just look into good LED rgb strips possibility with support of RGB software and light up my entire PC internals to make it cool that’s all. Don’t care about RGB fans cause performance > looks and the cost.

I've only got rgb memory and cpu block, with some underglow on the motherboard. Nothing crazy. I've also got it set to change color by cpu temp, so it's actually useful.

Yeah these things are monsters. The shroud is almost all metal, and exposed fins on the heatsink. The pass-through fan works really well too.

That was when I first put it together. The AIO fans are now located on the front pulling cold air in. Top fans also pulling. Rear fan exhaust. All temps under load are around 60-65 cpu 45-50 gpu

Pull as much cold air in. Also make sure room temps are cool. Makes a huge difference as well. I was in a small room that would heat up super fast with my rig. This was just recycling all the heat back into my case and I was getting high readings all the time. Now I’m in a larger room and never had an issue.

You won't need nearly that high of a budget for basically an office pc. You can use integrated graphics so no need for a GPU.

Yeah i would assume 4-6GB for GPU but placing ram and motherboard and CPU idk what is fast and works well with what

I put the 12600k since it's one of the best processors for efficiency around, but also extremely powerful. You get the best integrated graphics intel has to offer.

As far as speed whats your thoughts on it if im running all those programs at once? Should be no lag and super fast?

Shouldn't be a problem no matter how many things you do at once. One of the best processors paired with some of the best 32gb memory for the price.

Depends where you find them and what price. In general they're cheaper than nvidia, about the same performance, but without dlss.

I found a couple on Newegg, but I got a friend of a friend telling me all the cheapest ones I have been finding weren't worth it. I found a 6500xt with 4gb, but he said it wasnt worth it because it has poor performance
