yea i usually leave my desktop on for weeks at a time since it takes about 20 minutes to boot, then start the startup applications (its literally just around 5 things) to become usable

I found an RTX 3080Ti for a decent enough price that I am considering buying it. However, I want to double check that my computer can handle this. Any opinions would be welcome, especially as I am relatively new to working with hardware.

I am not using water cooling, and only have 3 fans, but my computer is sitting in the basement. It's quite cold compared to the rest of the house. I also plan on getting 3 more fans for my computer. My main concern is the GPU overheating, but should that concern change?

i think gpu will not overheat, but the suggestions i have are maybe upgrading that psu depending on how much power that cpu is drawing. also maybe upgrading that cpu cooler as the heat coming off the top of the gpu will make the cpu run even hotter.

Yeah, I'd already seen advice to undervolt it a bit. Hopefully the 6 intake fans I'll have on my case will reign it in, but if not, I'll lower that voltage. It'll still be a beast for my purposes
