Hello gents, a friend of mine is contemplating buying this build. His primary use case is running virtual machines and not games.

I've included a screenshot of his current laptop specs. His primary interest is having more memory.

Since he isn't looking to game and the i7 3770K is pretty old and I'm not overly familiar with Intel chips I though I'd ask for your guys' input. I think he would probably be better served buy adding more memory to the existing laptop, but what do you think?
