I need to toss out the thermal pads for memory/vrm that came with the block, and sand down the standoff posts ~.2mm or so to get correct mounting pressure on the GPU die.

Currently seeing 60C load - should be right around 40 at the same 300w or so load.

Not gonna lie to you.
When I had to remove my cpu on the first board. I had a little bend on one of them but it bent it back.

At that point the board already wasn't starting and the bend didn't occur until after it wasn't starting. (removing the other parts)

The damn clamps wouldn't come off without a fight. 😩

My current specs are (FX-4300, 1050 Ti, 8gb ddr3, gigabyte ga-78lmt-s2, and a cheap 350w psu.) it is an old cyber power. So my plan is to buy a r5 3600x for $199, a asus tuff b450 atx motherboard for $107, G skill rgb ram (16 gb 3600), and a EVGA 450 psu. Thoughts?

Can someone recommend me a good fan or if I should have more than just my current cpu fan and stock fan that came with my case? Just curious if adding another fan or two would be beneficial. Also would prefer black for the fan if it is recommended.

I'm looking into Netgear Orbi and the Google one, but I'd like to hear from someone I know or someone who has used them personally

I only see mesh with low asf bandwidth sooo

on wifi 5 (ac protocol), it was usually 600mbps compared to conventional 1200mbps

so I'll have to see on wifi 6
