Those games sound good, If your laptop has a usb-c connecter on it that isn't a charger I think it might work but it probably won't run well depending on specs

when i go from 12 to 32 chunks my fps goes from like 250 to 30-50 (ryzen 2600x+1070 ti). id drop the render distance to like 24 or 32 and see what kind of fps you get

@halcyon fossil I found my issue. They updated the game and it started using about 200MB more Vram which is too much for 6GB cards at 1080p now. I'm back at 90fps ultra with textures lowered to high. It isn't the cards performance, it was too little vram leading to hitching.

I have it it can’t play games on your phone but they have a store on your phone where you can browse and look at games supported by it and if I heard correctly the new Xbox is supposed to have VR support but you’d likely need the oculus link cable for it like you would to connect to your PC

I believe vive trackers do work from what i hear but they need to be setup and only work with steamvr and youll need the external base stations for the trackers, can get expensive. for beat saber body tracking isnt really useful unless you are using an avatar for a stream or something. < that maybe changed since the beat saber update seemed to have broke a lot of mods

The 2.0 basestations have the best range of tracking and accuracy

I've been looking and different ones are good for different people. If you just want the best, the pc based 'valve index' is generally referenced as that, but it costs 1k and has a month or more wait list.

The "bigger games" (hla, boneworks) don't run on quest standalone at all. You can only play those on pc. (Which you can still do on quest, you just gotta be plugged in). So power isn't really a problem here.
