Depress the pcie lane socket lever. Remove slot covers for how many slots your card'll need starting with the one directly next to your chosen pcie lane (preferably the top lane). Take gpu, slowly guide the bottom of the gpu into the slot (the part with the yellow bit extending down from the gpu). Push into the slot until you hear the pcie lane lever click
Screw the retention bracket into the case
Plug in gpu with pcie cables

Reinstalled windows twice over minor issues and started worrying about corrupted drivers so I installed windows again but this time I had my brother with me to keep me in line
Instead of having all the preprepped drivers I just downloaded the WiFi drivers and let windows do its work
