Here's something I've been thinking about for the last couple of days

Ryzen 7 7700X to Ryzen 7 9800X3D, you don't get any more cores, but obviously you get a good amount more gaming performance. However the price difference is pretty drastic

As an example there was a Newegg Shuffle last week for a 7700X with a 240mm MSI AIO with ARGB, for $150 total

compared against 9800X3D which is $479

but I've seen a lot of people who go all-in with a 9800X3D CPU in their build, and then pair it with something like an RX 9070XT which really can't push that 9800X3D CPU very hard

So I guess what I'm wondering is, at what GPU level would it be a noticeable unbalance to use something like a 7700X

My wife uses a 7700X with an RX 9070 non-XT to play Monster Hunter Wilds and it runs perfectly

Arc is faster for video editing, way worse in games, unless you exceed the 12GB VRAM on the B580 (or 10GB on B570)

If you're above 12GB but within the 16GB of the 5060Ti then it will take a huge lead over the Arc

And yeah in gaming there's basically no comparison

5060Ti is around the speed of an RX 9060 XT, 7700XT, very slightly behind a 6800XT/7800XT, and very slightly ahead of a 3070/3070Ti

Meanwhile a B580 in gaming is only the speed of a 4060, gets beaten by a 3060Ti and 6700XT

ISP static is usually a business only thing. typically us residential folk have to use a combination of domain names and DDNS to prevent issues from IP changes. or use other solutions like Cloudflare Tunnel that don't rely on IP.

sorry if im misunderstanding, but if you are trying to setup mc server via ip you setup a port forward for the MC port (default is 25565) that points to the local ip of the server (for ex: 192.168.1.7) on the other outside network you reach the server by typing in the public ip (for ex: 172.237.10.2) and not the servers local ip 192.168.1.7. sometimes you have to specify the port, so like 172.237.10.2:25565
you can either see public ip via router settings or by googling "ip"
