Depending on how much mounting kit you're missing you could adapt a kit from somewhere else

If you have the bits that mount to the cooler for example, another cooler frame and screw/pin kit could mount to it

That said, results are highly variable as they aren't intended to work together

Optimized Java game vs optimized c++ game, the differences are not exactly going to be massive

Main thing is that Java MC actually has a ton of optimization mods while Bedrock doesnt have much of anything. An example below for Java MC, can easily get 256 render distance (320 render distance is barely more perf heavy as well) with shaders while still being playable.

Well still, that is only limited to FN with the given specific settings, target resolution, and target framerate. That bottleneck percentage is also randomly in CPU single core, CPU multi core, CPU interconnect, CPU cache, CPU IMC, memory bandwidth, memory latency, GPU, etc. That percentage is also based off averages rather than 1%/0.1% lows I assume.

So still far too general of a metric to use

If you care about one task, and one task only, it can be worth trying to figure out the bottleneck. But that is still a much more complex task than just running a simple benchmark.

So for the average person, I wouldnt recommend worrying about it.

Also are any of you running a 3080ti and updated to nvidia new graphics diver via GeForce experience or the nvidia app version 565.90 during the update screen flickers and completely goes black I since ddu few times and still happening

Gotta reboot the system and back in and drivers are installed but trying to alt tab or hit the window key crashes the pc or game and shows artifacts and makes you force restart

I also did update to 24h2 also was in a fresh windows installation and it seemed to have bricked the system completely lol idk what was happening but it enabled bit locker on all my drives so I re wiped drives and here I am again problem after problem

I’ve read that you don’t need DRAM for gaming, especially on an NVME, but I want confirmation.

Cheapest I could find are the NV2, Lexar NM620, WD SN580, MP44L. The cheapest is the MP44L and the SN580 is the second cheapest with a few $ difference
