Maybe an unconventional bedroom, specifically for dreaming. Can be any theme you want with a bed as the focal point. Dimly lit with glowy touches is a fine way to go, and adding a wallpaper/flooring with animation or other special effect can enhance the atmosphere for sure!

Hi, question for anyone using custom curtain wall tiles, do they look shiny like attached (top of back wall middle). I've tried two designs from different creators, removing light fittings etc still basically looks like a shiny flat piece of plastic. Is this always the case or should I keep looking at different designs? I only have 2 free slots so I just wanted a basic stackable curtain square like in the picture but not shiny. Not requesting codes just advice. I just had a thought is it a property of the glow in the dark stickers that they're always shiny?

Sectioning off the room can do it! Whether you use the partitions from the DLC or items like screens, couches, and tables. I recommend incorporating a variety of shapes and sizes as well, and mixing up how they're grouped. For example, you could place a 1x2 bed in a corner with a 1x1 table next to it, then place a 1x2 desk in the corner below it with a 1x1 chair in front of it. But position the bed vertically and the desk horizontally so it doesn't look mirrored. You could even move the desk setup over half a square to further offset things, gradually pushing the flow of your furniture throughout the room for a less boxy look. If that doesn't make sense, I can get some pics later. 😅

Nope sorry, only way to turn those off and on again is if you have direct access to them (nothing in the way) or mayyyybe turning off the lights in your house but I think it’s the first option that only works

Hi, would anyone have any advice on how to fill in the space around these doorframes?
I've made a Harry Potter themed house, and the main room is the Great Hall. The Candles wallpaper is perfect to recreate the floating candles of the Great Hall, but they only stretch half way down. I tried to cover the space with the Vertical split curtains, but they cover the crests indicating what the common rooms are to the side I'm at a loss for how to tie it in with the rest of the room

Honestly I like them both equally; the top one has a much better color contrast but the bottom has a lot of warm colors (red, orange, yellow) that make it look really nice. For Vesta I’d probably go for the top one though, since the top design has a far more noticeable black color and Vesta’s color palette has that bluey purpley black color as her face, arms and legs iirc

i'd probably replace the floor with some or light blue flooring. as is, it's a pink that's almost the same tone as the wall and that's slightly offputting to the eyes.

Looks like a combo of white painted-wood wall and tree-lined wall, with the latter set as the accent and made to look like a window with glow-in-the-dark stickers.

Making a corner shape out of box sofas and framing it with the tall bookcases is one idea. Or, if you have the DLC, you could use partition walls to make a reading nook. The atmosphere would be real nice with some candlelight or banker's lamps too.
