Thanks!! I worked SO hard on his interior. It was just so empty and plain yknow? Spent quite a few hours getting it right. Now he has his own personal chefs to serve him food haha. The lighting in acnh is definitely weird. I tried using a different lighting fixture but sometimes the light source would just turn off. This lighting fixture i found to work the best tbh. I also added K.K. Lovers to his room and it fits the vibe with the crashing waves bg sfx. Changed the exterior slightly too to make it look more lively but I dont think im allowed to post it here haha

House building tips: dont forget about wall and roof furniture cause they're half of what makes the room look good, if your just starting designing try using carpets for areas aswell as to make things colour match but not only make things 1 colour, also move things out from the wall a bit.

you talk to tom nook and he allows you to change ur villagers house/design it.
