Den desks or basic teachers desks turned around for countertops, and the table with cloth, or wooden table or one of the other table diys for tables and there are lots of bar stools out there. I also think imperial dining chairs look really nice

If you wanna create an outdoor-cafe kind of look you can use the iron garden items (and customise them [white/black]), or the natural garden items, and the stalls are often used as counters as well if you wanna try that out

I would say later unless you already have your layout made… I did mine first and then decided I wanted to move it and it took me HOURS to dig up and rebuild lol… but if you plant the fruit trees now you can make lots of money off your fruit each day so totally up to you and what you need atm

i’m making an inn on my island and i’m struggling big time with the dining area 😣 i want to make a mock up at Harv’s but the rooms aren’t the same size or dimensions. I’m at a loss for how to go abt this. Suggestions, any suggestions, are very much welcome 🙏🏻

i think if you want it to have a more restaurant feel, u need more booths like in a diner! you can put 3 sets of booths in the lower wall (across from the door side) and have the "kitchen" be on the opposite side

something like this but obviously use a smaller table if u dont have space!

also i really like this kind of set up, the variation in chairs is so cute

there's a pattern that was designed to actually be like that one. but the one i'm using is slightly different.

a girl named akihito from fortune (a New Leaf town) made a pattern to match the different Rococo colours. i picked it up and changed the colours of the pattern to purple and black

I’m thinking the fridge and drink machine could he replaced with something like a counter/table. Like maybe try to close off your kitchen appliances in their own little square section. Counters work really well as islands that you can put smaller appliances on too.

See how there are little stools behind the square island thing? I was thinking that. I think they may be using piano benches. Also, since you have windows, maybe set up a little reading area with a round rug, small bookcase, and a cushioned chair.

Depends on themes that you like. Honestly, i think that first one looks more comfortable and simple - its just pretty. Second one is kinda messy, i think there are too many items, bedroom should be simple and cozy. You can always mix them, and make something unique. But in my opinion, first one lools better ^^
