I'm gonna rant: spent 4 hrs on phone with nintendo after having my switch stolen all I wanted was to get my island back. I believe you island has to be 3 star, and the museum has all parts, when it has, you talk to blathers and he tells you about Brewster and he gives you a photo. You then go to the island and talk to him and he’ll say he will come

Opening the construction app and requesting cleanup to remove items around your character might work, but not sure if you can get it back.

you are screwed, the only way to fix that is to use a save editor or quickly exit before the game saved, but it sounds like it's too late

i accidentally did that to myself with the thanksgiving items that display on the table (steamy pie, etc.), because i thought they were normal items. i spawned one and dropped it, got stuck there forever. i had to use a save editor to get rid of it

Anyone know if there's a Tour related Glitch? I restarted my island in late August and every single Dodo tour Island has had native fruit. Dozens of them. And, while it's not much to go on, all 4 Kapp'n trips I've taken have been native fruit, same season, same time of day, nothing special, etc. Just a cheaper Dodo tour (I did find Brewster on the first trip, but they've all been basically identical since.

Bell trees can still pump out a decent amount of bells if u have a few accounts.

Plant 30000 bells per tree, break even or triple your bells.

• Method 1. Place a building (home, museum, shop, campsite) on top of the placed item. --> This moves the item to your recycling bin. It has yet to be tested whether or not maxing out your recycling bin will remove the item.

• Method 2. Stand next to the placed item and request cleanup during construction. --> This moves the item to your recycling bin. It has yet to be tested whether or not maxing out your recycling bin will remove the item.

• Method 3. Make an additional island rep, pick up the item with that rep, then delete the rep from your game. --> This method does seem to get rid of the item permanently.

So I once went to an island that seemed hacked or something a while back and tried selling but then the total came out to a negative value and maxed out my savings balance. Does anyone know why? Has this happen to anyone before?

It was hacked, that's the only way to obtain negative prices. When you sell more than your character can hold, the funds go to your ABD, but in this case because the amount is invalid it messes with the game and maxes out your ABD. Your turnip profit achievement is also broken if you did end up selling for this price

Not.. necessarily? But it's pretty difficult. Because now your profits are in the negative, you have to counteract all of the negative balance with your profit as well as get the achievement amount

I haven't tried it since the update but essentially it's just turning off your switch at the perfect moment so it saves your items in your pockets as well as saving them on your hosts island.

I have a problem with the game ever since this new update. My character slowly moves to the left when I don’t move touch my controllers. I know it’s not my a drifting problem because it happens on my other joy con controllers and my pro controllers AND it also doesn’t happen in my other games. Hi all! Got a question about the new DLC. I have designed 9 houses now yet I’m still unable to unlock the school for some reason. Lottie mentioned she was going to apply for the permission to design the school but she never mentioned it again. Most players unlock the school when they finish 6 houses but I still can’t access it. The size of the 8th house I designed, is bigger than the previous ones with no explanation.(I can use the partition tho). And the size of the 9th house return to default again. This is really confusing. I wonder if this is a bug. Thank you in advance😉

Hey in the new DLC I’m having a major glitch where Lottie never asked me to do the school but when I hit 12 people she asked me to build the cafe and then said I could build the restaurant at any time. But because I never did the school I can’t access the facilities. This is also keeping me from changing the size of the rooms because you learn that while doing the school. I had the same glitch. After learning the fencing customization the game did not provide two fence diy ( that suppose to come with the kit) so the fence customization won’t work without it.

This is fine except when I tried placing a new crop in it's place, the spot is acting like it's got something in the way! Even though it's empty! Reloading hasn't helped :(
