Ye ik, I’ve been somewhat procrastinating recently unfortunately but how I did it is just tear everything down, terraform everything (like, just terraforming, aka just cliffs and water), move everything into place and build bridges/inclines and now I just have to decorate everything, but I already have a rough idea of where I want everything so it’s just a matter of time

Not really, but a tip is that you can probably use palm trees, aka make a single sand path and plant the palm tree on top of you want them on plain land, I’m not sure how you’d go about a jungle island tbh

Hi, this is a bit of an odd request but I was wondering if I could hire a talented designer to take a look at my island, give me advice on what to improve on, where things should go, etc. Willing to pay 100,000 bells.

On my island, I make a point to make sure that there is lighting everywhere or at least a little unique lighting techniques so that it looks good at night. I wanted to make this mini library/sitting area. Now that I'm seeing it at night, it looks pretty dim (especially since, you know, it's a reading area). What items should I place or rearrange to add more light but still stay with the area's theme?

I'm really struggling with decorating my island. after rearranging some stuff ive made areas i'm actually proud of, but then there are some areas that feel soulless and i dont really know what to do with it :/

i do have ideas, but some things i dont know how to go about. because other than minor changes i do NOT want to change my layout AT ALL. even though I know some things would look better by adding cliff-depth. so i'm trying to figure out how and where to put the things i want, and make them work with the layout I have

Guys I'm so lost, I've redone my island and moved things around so much but my island feels so small compared to everyone else's...I want to do pastel purple cottagecore/fairycore but I have problems on where to guide rivers, where to terraform, and stuff. Feels like my head is empty.

im currently envisioning my island to have a sort of "village" feel to it, and part of the way im aiming to do it is by arranging the houses in a sort of cresent formation with a large open area that is half-enclosed with houses/cliffs, with the other side being enclosed in trees and a moat. currently in the "moving a house once a day" stage of this

and I would have a waterfall on each mountain going towards the center island
