When I make gardens I put furniture down and move and delete and put different furniture down etc Until I finally get something I'm happy with. It's generally good to go in with a theme in mind though.

@pallid monolith my island looks like trash on most places but I’ve made some of my villagers houses incorporated into the island, like Molly’s house is connected to a pet shop, tias house is connected to a cafe, Berthas house is connected to a huge botanical garden, and so on. It’s a lot of fun and makes your villagers houses stand out! I also love when they’re walking around in the area I made for them :))

Nice rare hybrids on display in vases. Some terrariums maybe. Download a custom design w plants and flower designs to put on panels to go behind stalls

It's not perfect (and my area is still a wip so I'm ok with it) but for now I have the butterflies I like just placed where the models will go one day. The emperor ones still look pretty at night even in the plastic cages so it can be a good holdover until you get flick (because I like never get him lol)

@quick iris usually when people spawn rocks inside a gated area they are aligned or arranged in a more organized way, rather than randomly spawned areas. that might be why the rocks look oddly placed. you can either make the area feel more"natural" by removing the gates and adding shrubs/trees/hedges to "fence" off the area instead, or you can break the rocks and spawn them in a more linear way inside the fences you already have

@drifting light i have cliffs around my resident services that are straight when you're right up against the plaza, but i have another layer above them that are curved, and it looks natural and distracts from the straight lines. you can see resident services in the bottom right of this picture. maybe try something like that!

Hi guys, so it's hard to see the museum in this but I really wanted just one centered staircase leading to my museum instead of two inclines (I already have 4 and want a couple more so trying to stay under the limit). However the museum's door is about 3 spots and the incline is 2 spots wide. It looks really off center either way. Does anyone have tips on how to fix this?
