Starting from plot 7 onward the personality you encounter is random. If you’re hunting via mystery island then the villagers are rolled based on species. You can get a villager by any means though, from NMT hunting, campsite hunting, from other players, or from amiibo if you have any to use!

it depends on your move in queue- it could be autofilled immediately the next day, or it could take a couple days. however if you dont want to have an autofilled villager id recommend not to risk it. ive had plots autofill the very next day and then ive had plots stay empty for a few days

Fences are DIYs that you can buy from the Nook Stop inside of resident services

Sorry, I think I misunderstood your question lol. But you get them with nook miles, and you get those by completing little accomplishments or goals in the game. I think it cycles through 3 or 4 different fences a day. I don't remember all the goals, but there are some helpful guides online that show which are the easiest to do

You would have to transport your information over. So you'd need to do the cloud save first on your original Switch, according to Nintendo. Without doing this, you run the risk of losing your old file if you never uploaded it to the cloud save and you get rid of that original Switch.

Simple terms , You can transfer the game but you don’t have to transfer the save , So you could have 1 new island and still have your old one if you want to keep your old save on your first switch , and make a new island on your new game

Vice versa , If you transfer your save to your new switch , you’ll be able to make a new island on your old switch

But you just can’t have 2 of the same islands , Nintendo doesn’t want duplicates

You could ask someone if they would be okay with you dropping your most wanted things on their island while you reset, then go back and get them after you unlock the airport

It can vary. I've had some get back instantly and others, maybe a day later. It's possible they're not in the same time zone and were trying to finish up a trade before logging off for the day

I didn't mind that tbh, New Leaf was when it was still about what the creator intended AC to be, a social life sim

I did not fall in love with AC for the decorating lol

For me it was about stuff to do and talking to villagers and making memories, both good and bad

Yeah, I had this neat idea for a new game where you unlocked stuff at your own pace and out of your own way, like wanting decorating, unlocks decorating stuff ofc, wanting more to do, a theme park for example opens -

Care about villagers? More options and interactions open up. All of it opens up when YOU want it too to avoid overwhelming and people can play the game how they want -

And ignore the stuff they don't care about

Or you can unlock it all if ya wanna mess with it all haha
