It depends on the oral surgeon. For me, it was local anesthesia and a sedative.

iirc, it more depends on what they have available/what your insurance covers than the oral surgeons preferred method. like it plays a part but if they have general anesthesia and sedation they let you pick which one you want due to both pricing and your own comfortability
