not really, online just lets you travel to other players islands and stuff so as long as you’re okay with not trading anything and stuff you aren’t missing out

In my opinion, online is only worth it if you actively play with other people and trade, I bought a year subscription and only used it a handful of times

I think the 2 biggest things with online for me is using other people's custom codes and being able to get all the fruits
