You need two purple mums to make a green mum. Purple mums come from two white mums

If you mean selling at nook's cranny, all recipes sell for 200 bells when crafted items can have very different selling prices
If you mean trading with other players, the market is player-driven, so the prices for both can vary and you should check for each item/recipe individually by searching the chats to get an idea of the rates. But I'm pretty sure DIYs are always more valuable to players as they give you access to the crafted item infinitely, in theory lol

Usually, only a day, since villagers in your move-in queue (which came from islands of players you visited) will quickly move in
If you don't play online though your move-in queue will be empty and it's only like a 30% chance it'll get filled in by a random villager, each day, so if you're lucky it'll stay empty for a while

Bubbles will appear naturally from time to time. If you see your villager have a presumed moveout bubble, but they aren't the one you'd like to leave the island, don't talk to them and the bubble has a chance to switch to another villager the next day

All guides tell you to time travel since it makes things quicker, but you absolutely can just follow them and always wait for the day to roll over instead of time traveling.

You can of course also use the campsite in order to kick villagers out

Amiibo are Nintendo's figurines and cards. They have scannable information in them. The figures for example are used a lot for Super Smash Bros. In Animal Crossing's case, there are cards AND figures. The figures are only NPCs. The cards are villagers and NPCs. So if you have, for example, a Agnes amiibo card, you can go to the Resident Services office and use the ABD to call that villager to the campsite.

No you don't need online to use them, but think of them like pokemon cards? Like yes you can get them in a relatively cheap pack of randoms, but if you're looking for a specific one it's gonna have to be from somebody selling it, usually more expensive

Figurines you can buy directly a single one, but the cards come in a pack

They have the exact same functionality, figurines are just more expensive and can be used for displaying etc
Animal Crossing villagers are also only available in card form, some NPCs have figurines though.

So if I want a specific villager I could order the amiibo card online and then I would be able to have that villager in the game?

Yes, so the process is...

1. Invite the villager to the campsite via the card
2. Do a DIY task for the villager (They want you to make an item for them)
3. Repeat for 2 more days, 3 total.
4. On the 3rd day they'll be like "Oh wow this is a cool place I wish I could move in" and you'll be "You should!"
5. If you have an available slot, they'll just move in. Otherwise you can pick who they replace. Unlike regular campsite villagers though, you do get to choose exactly who they replace instead of a random choice

And yeah also the figurines are nice. I have a... Tom Nook, Nooklings, and Lottie. But they don't serve as much function as the cards. I can use them to like invite that NPC to the coffee shop, but that's about it.

Bell bags work the exact same way as bell coins, bell amounts from 1000 upwards just have the bell bag icon instead of the coin. Just have the bags in your inventory/wallet, and you can use them to buy things

In case you'd rather not time travel, moveout thought bubbles also appear naturally. If you see a villager with a thought bubble who isn't Beardo, the bubble has a chance of transfering to another villager overnight if you don't talk to the villager.

Placing a lot of trees and flowers might help

Do what Isabelle tells you to - if she talks about appealing scenery, scatter some random furniture all around your island. IIRC not having all in one place is better
If she mentions natural environment, plant more flowers etc. (rememeber that they only give max points once fully bloomed). You can also do trees and stuff, but flowers take the least amount of space and there isn't a penalty for having too many flowers like there is for trees.

Bridges, inclines, villagers and buildings also give quite a bit of development points, in case you don't have all the buildings or villagers yet. But you'll manage fine without these, too

Oh, and you can't get three stars if you have less than 8 villagers.

No to all of the above, the only way you can change any of those is by restarting your island
