You need a Switch Online subscription. If you have it, other limiting factors might be your internet's NAT type for example. You usually need at least B to play with others IIRC (C might be enough too, can't remember too well, but D is definitely too low and the higher it is the better in any case)

You can see your NAT by going to settings -> internet -> test connection (on your Switch)

2. Dive and catch sea creatures to sell back to Nook's Cranny.
3. Grow stuff (fruits, flowers, pumpkins, etc) and sell to Nook's Cranny.
4. If you have a NSO (Nintendo Switch Online), trade with other players by visiting #721542917264638002 and seeing where to sell your services or goods!

the move-out thought bubble is completely rng, so it's just a matter of persistence. sometimes it'll tale minutes, sometimes it can take hours. you can also google other methods if you'd like.

• Visit your villagers every day, one will almost always be crafting in their house and teach you what it is
• Have villagers of all personalities as they each have a different pool of DIYs they might teach you
• Collect your daily washed up DIY in a bottle, and you can create alts and open their account each day to also get their daily DIY in a bottle
• Grind for balloons when seasonal DIYs are in season
• Do all events
• Go to Nook Miles islands / Kapp'n islands as they have a small chance of having a DIY in a bottle
• If you have the DLC, visit the HHP area every day, it will also have a daily DIY in a bottle
• There are also more ways but that's already a lot lol

if it’s the treasure hunt that they asked you to join in on and it expires then the item will turn into a lost item and can’t be returned or opened, most people usually will use them as decoration

eating fruits gives you a “power up” basically, it’ll allow you to dig up trees/rocks and crush rocks upon hitting them. to get iron nuggets you just hit them normally without eating fruits!

you'll need to progress with Tom Nook's tasks and have an island evaluation of 3 stars from Isabelle. After that you'll receive the app which lets you lay custom paths easily. Until you have unlocked this app, the only way to lay paths is from your Custom Design Portal extension in your nookphone which is very tedious to open and close for every single path you wanna lay :/
