Ok so as the resident representative, Taiyun is tied to the island, so if you want Taiyun + the island on the new switch without Maxx, then you'll have to move the entire island with both villagers to the new switch with the transfer tool (using whatever account), then move Maxx back to the original switch with the transfer tool (also using whatever account), where they will start their own island from scratch.

@icy wing To trade plants with other players, you’d have to dig them up and get the other player to best friend (you can’t dig, cut down, or plant things on another island without this permission!) you so you can plant them in their island which then they can do as they wish with. Unless you pluck them, in which case I don’t know.

Sometimes people accidentally sort in an order they aren't familiar with which causes them to skip over items, so I would do a double take of your inventory. Also if you sold in bulk recently, you may have accidentally selected and sold that item. Otherwise there's no known reason items would go missing from your storage.

The sorting suggestion is usually an accidental thing since x/y (whichever is the sorting one) is easy to hit on accident. Regardless, the last thing I said still stands that there's no known reason items would go missing. If they're reorderable though, you can just order another from Nook Shopping.

You can also catch the wasps if you’re quick enough to do so. And if you talk to a villager after you’ve been stung there’s a chance they will give you the DIY recipe for medicine

if you hold your net while shaking trees all you need to do is spam press the button cause itll automatically turn your character towards the wasps

it is a little tedious to shake every tree before getting wood but better than walking back from your house every time

Anything that is connected to a waterfall, the ocean, or is "long and narrow" is considered a river. Almost anything else that is round-ish will be considered a pond. A good rule of thumb is if you toss your bobber in and it moves, it's a river; if it's stationary, it's a pond.

So when you open the Custom Design App on the nookphone, press the (-) button on the controller. It should ask you to connect to the internet. Then after it'll say "A custom design name <design name> was found. Please select a save slot". Then you should just be able to choose which slot to put it in, you don't need to select the slot first

Return to irl time, talk to all your villagers, and restart the method. Be patient, the move-out process is largely RNG and honestly half an hour with no results isn't that uncommon. ^^;
I'm sure you know, but just be sure you have more than 6 villagers, and if you want to narrow the bubble pool, try putting a non-target villager's house relocation kit in your pocket.

Just so you know in the future, plots tend to only stay open for one day (the day after the villager is in boxes), then after that they get autofilled. If you want to keep a plot open indefinitely, you'll want to time travel to stay on the first day it's open until you can find someone to fill it.

You can, I believe you just need to finish their home and then you can speak to them and propose relocation.

You can get up to 8 drops from a rock (see here: https://chibisnorlax.github.io/acnhfaq/island-life/#how-can-i-get-8-hits-from-a-rock ), but since you broke yours I would recommend either waiting or visiting a mystery island and hitting those rocks.

You can certainly try, but I believe the maze is intentionally designed for you to not bring either tool back. I don't think it would be removed from your inventory, but it's probably something you'd need to test yourself.

Like Cest said, it happens on a new day. So depending on what things you have to unlock, it might take a couple of days

For example, one day might unlock Nat teaching you about bugs, and then the next day Niko will teach you about pillars. It depends on what you've already done

As long as you have trash down and are on the right times and dates it’s a matter of luck. Flies are fairly rare, so expect it to take at least a bit

If your trash isn't on diggable path I'd try that, I know it's a requirements for ants but not sure about flies...
Easiest method is to put the trash near your house and enter and exit to respawn bugs

If you can’t really find anything for what you’re selling then just try and create your own price and see if you get any offers or not
