After you have opened all 7 vendors and gotten all 7 hairstyles from Harriet, she will no longer give you any more haircuts. You do learn these hairstyles once she gives them to you and can change to them using a mirror.

You can't get Ankha just yet, the first 6 villagers are personality-locked and none of them are snooty. Just keep playing the game and moving villagers in, once you progress past the campsite you'll be able to go hunting for her.

yes, that’s how clothing replacement works. however, you can do that with isabelle anyways now, so you don’t have to give the gifts. as for furniture, you can reset their houses with a DLC ability after a certain point

All furniture items and clothes can be gotten from trading, if their only source is the DLC.

Nope, anything that you can drop (DIY recipes, furniture items, clothing, materials, fruit, etc.) can be traded with no problem. Do note if you trade an item that is sourced via crafting, you won't learn the DIY for it, you'll just get the item itself.

Those villagers will come eventually. You probably don't have their plots set up yet, they need those to move into your island. You need to keep playing the game until Tom Nook gives you 3 housing plots to place down.

Make sure you assess fossils at your museum don’t just sell them, shake your trees daily for a free piece of furniture, there’s one message in a bottle with a DIY in it on your beach every day, don’t shake (non-fruit) trees without a net in case there are wasps (you will get stung), save up your nook miles don’t spend them all willy nilly because when you need them it takes forever to get more (my current issue lol), don’t be stressed about having a “theme” and idk I cant think of anymore lol

Be careful of opening up all your plots, Nook will fill them regardless if you want a specific villager within a day or two. Visit islands using the NMT (nook mile tickets), you can access other fruits and plants. But be weary of spending all your nook miles too

You definitely need more nature points then ^^ Flowers are the easiest way to attain them, but DIY furniture, bushes, trees, etc. will work too. Also note that fully grown flowers are what you want, flowers that are still mid-growth will not give you a full nature point (which is what you want).

Hi! Sorry if this is not the right place to ask about this but I’ve been having this error with my switch and I’m not sure what to do. Basically whenever I try to visit other people’s islands I get “a communication error has occurred”. I am able to connect to the internet, find islands to visit, access the custom design portal, tweet from my switch, etc, but I can’t visit islands. I have had a few issues with my switch not being able to read my game card and stuff (idk if that could be related or not but thought I would mention just in case)

What error are y’all getting exactly? If it’s a network issue you need to figure out who is having the issue first. It wouldn’t make a difference whose island your going to if it’s due to a poor network connection.

So I know there's no such thing as a "rare" villager, however some are more probable than others (octopus vs cats, for example). Does anyone know of a resource that would highlight villagers who have some extra uncommon qualities? For example, Sasha being the only male villager with the fashion hobby. Another example would be Smug subtype B, of which there are only a few. I'm looking to fill my island with villagers who all have a lil spice haha.
