NSO just means Nintendo Switch Online, it's not something you can launch, so perhaps you mean it was a website or a Switch app you're calling by the NSO name? I do know the phone app you're talking about though. And again I would definitely reach out to Nintendo's customer support, let them know what steps you've taken and see what they can do to resolve it for you ^^

There is a cap of 14 item dropped that can't naturally be on the ground (unlike tree branches, stones, star fragments...)
So if you have iron and wood on the floor (on a surface is fine) you'd get Isabelle complaining about it.
This should only cap to 4 stars, keeping it from 5

net-whacking can reduce friendship a little bit, but it's not really worth it or necessary to make someone move out. without time travel, the fastest way is to just close the game any time someone ELSE asks to move (so there won't be a delay of a few days before the next one). eventually the undesirable one will ask, unless they were the previous one to ask and you said no, or they're the most recent villager added (neither seems to be the case here)

or, if you just want someone out at all costs, you can replace them with the next campsite visitor

they're talking about an odd trick where you fill your inventory to force them to mail you a gift, which used to have a higher chance of photos. but now you can instead gift-wrap multiple fruits (that sell for 750+ total) and don't need a full inventory or anything weird (got my last few photos this way)

to add onto kimari's message, the "fruit stack" technically still works with a higher gift back chance than normal, but you just have to use stacks of items that have single values of 750 bells or higher. since no single fruit, native or non-native, has a sell price of 750 or more, it won't work with fruit stacks as it did in the past.

A gifted villlager just means you have given them gifts on your island (clothes or furniture). When they move out, if somebody invite them on their island they may wear or display those gifts in their house, and some dont like that

how does the game determine which cedar trees get lights? is it completely random? tile position based? two of the trees in front of my museum have lights, so i tried to switch the other remaining two with others that did. when i replanted a cedar with lights, it no longer had them. so i planted it back to where it was, but it didn't get them back. what's up?

Come a new day, the game will repopulate lights to hit the 50% mark again.

those are personality locked so youll only be able to find 1 lazy, normal and peppy villager on nmt islands. So if you have specific villagers you want with those personality types now is the best time to find them as the pool for which villagers can show up is smaller. Later on in the game all villagers are eligible to show up on mystery islands and there are a lot of them so looking for someone specific can take a very long time, if you don't want to waste nmt and time you're better off getting them from someone elses island but you can only do that once you've got 6 villagers

How do I keept the plots from filling up before I find a villager I like and how many villagers can I invite per day?

for the first 3 you can invite them all in one day, they wont move in (one move in per day) til you've finished the furniture they require so if you invite then do the furniture the plot wont autofil. After these 3 villagers you can only invite one villager a day, and the plot will autofil at 5am the following day regardless of when you placed the open plot

You unlock items when you design villager homes. Those are the only items that will become available to order from Wardell. Also they cannot be items that are not catalogable, such as the nook miles redemption items

As you get further in the HHP storyline the option to use craftable items for designing homes will become available to use, but those still can’t be ordered from Wardell

You still get them as long as you only go one day forward, if you go more than that then they'll disappear. Often people make the mistake of changing the date when they wished after midnight, which would technically make them two days ahead instead of just one, so be sure to avoid that.

But you can always try making your own tarantula island on nook mile islands

Basically you need to find an island with no rivers or ponds (for example, a bamboo island), remove all trees, flowers, rocks and then tarantulas will spawn much more often

There's also an island that spawns tarantulas only so if you're lucky enough you may also get that

Nintendo lowered the tarantula and scorpion spawn rates, so its very unlikely to leave a diy island with a full pocket of them, plus itll take hours

If they're just trying to get it for their critterpedia/museum/bug models it's still better than waiting around hoping to stumble across them though

Well if your goal is a full pocket of tarantulas then the best way is to try and find the tarantula island. If you only need two or three then making one saves more miles and is worth a try
