seed white pansies when bred together can make blue pansies, though because there are different variants (because of genes) of white pansies, you may not be able to tell if it can make blues or not. to keep it simple, breed together white pansies that are grown directly from a seed bag, or use white pansies from mystery islands if you can find them there since they are the same genetically

feel free to check out #garden-science-info, there are many guides (a breeding guide in there as well to obtain all the colors) which explain garden science very well
