How's your internet? If it's good normally, and you're installing on a microSD, the card might be failing.

If another device on that wifi is having trouble then it's likely a fluke, and your save (which is stored on your Switch's system memory) might be fine

If you place vines on the fourth cliff layer, the one the game doesn’t let you climb onto, on diagonal walls only, if you reload your game they will despawn and you will lose them. It’s been tested by other people and confirmed - the vines stay there if they’re on straight walls.

I know you’re not supposed to climb up there, but they were nice for decoration since there’s no other way

what i did to figure out what i needed left for fossils is i went through the nook catalog and used an app on my phone called ACNH.guide it pretty much tracks everything. you can mark off fossils, fish, art, bugs & diving creatures that you already have to help you figure out what you need.

For the dlc, I decorated 23 houses already (even did the hospital) but I still haven’t unlocked pillars and counters. I got the cut scene where Lottie asked me to go upstairs to talk to niko at the crafting bench and I did talk to him. However, the next day (and multiple days after that) niko never invited me to the school for his lessons. I even time traveled 2 weeks ahead and still nothing. Checking the box next to the crafting bench only shows the prompt “this box looks like it can hold a lot of things”.

No, the first recipe is learnt on the first caught salmon, after that you need to catch 3 more salmons to learn the remaining recipes
