Follow what Isabelle says. A LOT of flowers and outdoor furniture. Get villagers moved in.

I don’t believe you’d get a penalty for this because they’re still placed items and it’s not mentioned as something that would cause penalties in the guide listed above.

Log in with the island rep account, press - on the start screen, saved data.

If that doesn't work, create a new profile, start the game and it should let you claim the house. Then do the previous process again with the new profile

Its entirely up to you. I restarted recently and i often regret it but at the same time before i restarted i didnt have anything left to do. i had the villagers i liked, i had money, my island was designed, etc etc. I miss all the materialistic things from my island but actually having stuff to do is nice and i dont open animal crossing every day feeling bored or wondering what there is to do

Depends on your taste. Custom design paths take a lot of space in your custom design app and may be tricky to place, but often look better, while normal paths are simpler to use but are a bit more plain.

When growing trees, there’s a thing where if a furniture or other item thing is too close to it, it won’t grow another stage when the next day rolls over. You can basically stop a trees growth, locking it at a smaller height, which is nice for variety and decoration and stuff

Literally just at any stage of a trees growth before it’s at maximum, just place any kinda furniture within a tile range of it. When the next day rolls over, it won’t continue to grow to the next stage.

Once you get to the part where the villager agrees to move in, they’ll say there’s no room for their house if you have all 10 plots filled. They will then offer to ask Resident Services to see who wants to move out. The villager choice will be random, but if you close out of the dialogue before it finishes you can pick another villager that way. Keep repeating the process until you they pick a villager you’re okay with kicking
