• ** How do I get an Amiibo villager to move into my island?**
You must invite an Amiibo villager and craft them their requested item 3 times in order for them to agree to move in. It doesn't need to be 3 consecutive days, just 3 days total.

• What if I have an open plot?
Amiibos still need to be invited 3 separate times, even if you have an empty plot.

• Can I choose who the Amiibo villager kicks out?
Yes, just make sure you've spoken to that villager at least once and their house isn't currently being relocated.

Wondering if there is anybody else in my situation re: DLC. So my husband and I both play on the same switch. I thought I heard on stream that we would need to EACH buy the DLC separately in order to both play on it. I was in process of doing that today: I preordered the DLC on my account and it successfully preloaded. Then I logged in to the store on his account to do the same thing and it says it's already Purchased and the option is grayed out. I even contacted Nintendo Support and they said yes, we would both be able to play on the DLC. But I'm just not trusting of that?! Does anybody have any intel?

No, it's based on the number of times you gave them the DIY item they requested... If you already gave them 3 requested items on previous visits (that do not need to be consecutive), they'll accept to move in right off the bat

Leaving the vaulting pole also removes some islands, but makes reaching a villager on one of the most common islands impossible unless you craft a new one, so this is not safe to do.

Apologies if you've already found your answer, but I don't believe you can move a secondary character over to another island to be the representative of another. The island rep is created simultaneously with the island, so the best you could do is have both characters on your new island.

You can't, you can use simple panels, which is a customizable item with kits, but you have hang wall items or nothing of the like outside

Best way would be trading with other players if you have Nintendo Switch Online (grab the trade role in #721542917264638002 then #diy-trade) but if not, only way is to keep checking on your villagers crafting and checking the recipes in the DIYs in a bottle that wash up on your beaches

the 12x12 is meant for people with very limited space, but you can do the steps/breeding spread apart if you have more space to utilize. its just a very compact way to get all the phenotypes in the game
