Went back to late March 2021 to try and get all the Bunny Day DIYs. Spent 2 hours reloading the game to force villager approaches trying to get the Bunny Day Bag DIY to no avail. What mechanic that is never talked about causes this?

Like Spookware said when they responded to you initially, you need to be the very first person to purchase something from Leif on each of the 3 visits in order to get the DIY. If you were the second/third/etc. person, it won't work.

• Caps (not helmets): Caps in the game are tagged either as free or womanly. Male villagers will only use caps tagged as free and gifting them 24 womanly caps will replace other caps from their storage. @turbid imp I'd like to share my findings: turns out doing a user transfer cuts everything from the source switch and pastes it into the target one WITH ONE EXCEPTION: the ACNH island data. So your user goes away from the OG switch, but your island remains. To move that data simply relink the nintendo account, download the island transfer tool and transfer the remaining data.

the area seems fine, weeds may possibly spawn in those spots which would prevent rocks from spawning in it since those take priority, so if that happens make sure to fill up your beach with them to hit the 150 natural spawn limit. keep time traveling to see if they spawn there, and make sure there isn't a transparent design on those spots as well

When rocks don’t spawn where you want it usually means you missed blocking a hard to find spot and the rock spawned there, and then the rock is also hard to find!

It’s for when a player wants to move to another Switch, not possible to use as the island representative. Say that you are two people playing on one Switch and the one who is not the rep gets their own Switch, then they can keep their personal progress (miles, money, catalog and DIYs) and start their own island instead of having to start over.

No. When you start up the game on the second Switch, you get to choose which character to link with which account. If the account is a different one from the one on the first Switch, the game wipes your in-game friends list, but otherwise it’s all there.

I have done this recently while restarting. I transferred my old island to my partner by sending it to his Switch and taking over the island rep with his Nintendo account. I then started a new island on my own Switch, and now I can easily trade with my old character since my old character is not on my account anymore.

So, when you start you get your two starting villagers. Then after that you need to get 3 from the nook mile islands.

1. Can you "hunt" for those too or are they the first 3 you encounter. So can I keep doing the trips until I talk to one I like?
2. Their interiors are basic interiors from what you provide, but are their exteriors still the ones that correspond to the villager?

You can hunt for the villagers until you turn in the six items for a plot. When you do, the plot gets autofilled by Nook. So if you wanna hunt, do NOT finish the houses, not even one or two, they autofill immediately even if all of them are not done.

The exteriors are their real ones, and you can only find normal, peppy and lazy villagers. When you pick a lazy, you will only find normal and peppy and so on.

Sadly, those tiles at the bridges are technically half tiles and that's why it doesn't work.

For Cranny and most of the houses (except the steps), the building/porch doesn't reach all the way to the edge of the space they occupy.
I wish paths were not deleted from under houses, it would be amazing if we could place buildings on both in-game and custom paths.

HOW DO I REMOVE A SECONDARY PLAYER FROM MY ISLAND?

In order to delete a secondary resident, start the game and, while you're on the homepage (watching a villager walk around), press the "-" button while logged into that account. This will cue Tom Nook to bless your screen with his face, and you can talk to him about deleting the player from the island.

When you delete a secondary resident, their belongings (house and storage) disappear. The player also will not disappear from your island even if you delete the account unless you talk to Tom Nook using the method above.

In HHD you could reuse the same lot multiple times for multiple villagers, and they would act as separate locations. However in HHP there seems to be a map that shows which villager lives where on the archipelago... So that might have changed.
I believe we don't have more info than this for now

Based on how HHD worked and what we saw from the trailers, you wouldn't be forced to accept his request since you could accept the request of another visiting villager instead, and in HHD villagers would change every day so this will also probably be the case here. Also in HHD, there was nothing that forced you to come back to a certain villager's house after furnishing it, so even then you could just do his request and never go there again lol, you wouldn't meet him again after anyways
Though as I said now there's a map that shows who lives where, so maybe this has changed. We don't have much info for now

You have to add your new game account to the nooklink app. On the title screen of the game. Press the (-) button then go into the nooklink settings. Then there should be an option to link it to the nooklink app. Then once done, go to the app on your phone, then go into the setting, then click change player and your new player should be there for you to click on
